Solid burgers. The katsu crispy chicken was tasty but get it with extra sauce and no pickled chillies. The chillies ruin the flavour of a very delicious burger. Service is quick, the chips are very good. I'll definitely go again. They've renovated the place since I last went and it's a great improvement.

Location: Inside Kings Cross Station Price: ok Taste: Fries was ok, thick and not too salty. Burger was so so. Service: You queue, you order, you get a buzzer, you sit, you wait, you collect when the buzzer buzz, you eat and go. Atmosphere: Sit outside and watch travellers walk by hurriedly or sit inside which is more cozy. Pros: Halal. They have a 8 minute guarantee from placing your order to eating your burger or your money back. The buzzer goes off at 6 minutes plus. Cons: Staff can be a bit more friendlier. Didn't know you have to take your own can drink from the fridge. Staff could have mention it. I ordered a Prime Truffle Burger and I felt the fresh onion more than truffle (if any).

Service was good, efficient and easy but the burger really was so so. We both had the katsu chicken burger which was very dry, very dark which would suggest over frying and a bit tough/chewy. The bap looked a bit sad all in all but was reasonable within the time frame but I expected more for an £8.50 burger.

If you want good, down to earth, oily, filling burgers, this is for you. The price might be expensive, but the burgers are pretty damn good. Food: I ordered double beef patty burger that came with a side of fries and a canned drink to take away. The fries were great, not soggy, slightly crisped. The burgers were amazing, juicy, greasy, just the way burgers were meant to be. (I am aware that the quality fluctuates as evidenced on other reviews but I got a pretty good meal) Price: ~GBP13/pax Service: Reasonably quick service and the counter staff were friendly and accommodating when we initially wanted a dine in but changed it to a takeaway as we almost missed our train. Would I recommend? Yes. Good, greasy, filling burgers that might pinch your pockets, but still, very worth it.

I went here on my way back from business trip as it had so many people going in and out so I thought that the food here must be quite good. And I was not disappointed. Although the price is quite high (usually £10+ per meal) but it is well worth it. The burger and chips were really filling as I didn't eat anything from around midday until night as I felt full. The taste is amazing as well. I wish they had a branch near me. If you think about trying it, don't think and just get some food from them. 8 min food preparation guarantee is also useful for travelers or anyone in a hurry.

Vegetarian burgers usually are the worst thing to order at a burger place but this tiny shop was a pleasant revelation. The veggie burger was scrumptious and the fries are pretty good too. Gave them a second try (after apparently 5 years!), I think the experience has ever so slightly improved, but still 3 stars seems appropriate. The veggie burger is still about the same - better than average in London (and the average in London is still bad). Still a bit dry, and crying out for sauce, of which there were only rather mediocre offerings available (Heinz ketchup, mayonnaise or mustard). The chips were certainly not soggy this time - they seem to have gone to the opposite extreme of being quite dry... but still, an improvement I suppose. Still the price is the most "prime" thing about this place - the meal came in at just shy of £10 which is pretty hefty for what is undeniably in the fast food category.

Went here for breakfast. It was very nice. But a little expensive. But I guess you are paying for the location. A full breakfast with tea cost me just under £10. I have not tried the burger so can’t comment on that :)

I had the cheeseburger. A very uninspiring experience. Burger was under seasoned (lacking salt), and the addition of chunky slices of red onion ruined both the taste and the texture. Cheddar cheese never works in a burger - too greasy; God gave us burger cheese for a reason, keep your cheddar for your ploughman's. The limp sheet of oversized lettuce added nothing. On the plus side, quick service and a decent brioche bun.

I didn't actually eat here so this is entirely the words of my kids: there were no toilets and I would have liked the food to have been brought to my table. The nuggets were fine but the chips were too potatoey. The food was lovely overall but the bun was too thin. The bacon was chewy but still very nice. For me, it was a good experience. The food looked nice enough; for what it's worth I thought the bacon was perfect. The service was friendly and fast but it took a while to get my order correct and I had to ask for a drink that was forgotten. The restaurant is in a busy train concourse so couldn't have toilets, but there are some not too far away.

Been several times, quality burgers in good time, so that you can stop in before a train and still catch it. A little bit pricey, but any burger on the menu will substitute a full lunch anywhere else, might cost a little more overall, but definitely worth it in my opinion. Came here late evening because I didn't want to eat a piece of cardboard from Mcdonalds. Got the original/most basic burger and it ticked the right boxes - thick beef patty, fresh salad and crispy toasted brioche bun. I grabbed a meal here last time before rushing to the train: The burger was juicy, the chips hot and crisp, the banana milkshake thick. The bad boy burger was very nice and a cut above the average burger but so greasy that I went through about ten serviettes and I felt like I smelt of grease for the rest of the day, so probably not one to eat in a suit half way through a long journey! Last time the hamburger was much nicer, more juicy and made with a more matured meat. Today the meat was nearly a frozen burger of doubt origin. Definitely precooked as it took three minutes to deliver. I appreciate they are in a European train station with lots of people who have to fly in minutes, but they could eventually ask whether customers are in a rush so to offer them a better freshly cooked product. Overall, I can't see that "gourmet" bit in the restaurant name appearing in what I ate. Like last time, chips were carbonised. The only reason I rate them three stars today it's because averaging my previous score, that's what they deserve, but I'm not quite sure I'll come back again.

Nothing special really. If you compare this to some of the other similar burger establishments that appear to be aiming at a slightly higher end than fast food outlets it doesn't compete. Everything was nice enough but compared to something like shake shack the burgers don't compare. I walked away content and had been served within their promised serving time so can't really complain though.

The type of burger "The Sizzler" from Fine Burger Company is perfectly fits its location. The Sizzler is an average cheeseburger on an average bun for someone needing a quick bite on the run. This probably matches quite well with what those on the run at St. Pancras Station are looking for. The burger has higher quality ingredients than your average "on-the-run" burger, however it fails to impress due a thin patty that doesn't lend itself to being very juicy, and a bun that is a little too dry. The good news is that Fine Burger Company does their best to be local and sustainable. While that didn't translate to the best burger I've ever had it's a noble cause.

Used to be my favourite burger joint in London, but suddenly on my last visit the service had dropped dramatically. The lady who served me on the till was rude and kept ignoring my requests and practically threw my burger at me. I understand it's busy and you're probably stressed, but chill. For some unknown reason there was also headlice remover sat by the till which made the experience slightly more uncomfortable. Looked as if someone had gotten it for a member of staff and had just left it on top as they were busy. Would it not make more logical sense to put it out of the public's view, it's not exactly appetising. I'm giving them four stars as out of the many times I've visited only twice have I felt let down by their staff. Service is pretty quick and the food is always great.

We had truffle burgers , fries and onion strings. The burgers were fine as burgers on their own, but not as truffle burgers - there was hardly a hint of truffle in the cheese or aioli - very disappointing. The meat was not evenly seasoned so one edge was incredibly salty and other bits were bland. Fries and onion strings were great although you do need to eat quite a number of strings at a go to really taste anything 😂 It's a decent , slightly overpriced (pricier than Byron , for example ) option if you're at St pancras -compared to every other option in the station - but probably not worth a special trip .

We stopped here for the breakfast menu whilst waiting for the Eurostar. Only a short walk behind the check-in section of St Pancras. Seriously, do yourself a favour, and grab a bite to eat here. You won't be disappointed. Their breakfast range is to die for. Everything was cooked to perfection, the staff are ultra friendly, and it's well priced also. Definitely will be back for more.

"Prime burger" sounds a bit like an oxymoron to me. However, it seems the trend of attempting to glamourise bread rolls containing ground up meat of dubious origin is on the rise, so I guess the name has to allude to the fact you're going to be parting with more than a tenner for your serving of burger and fries to ward off the happy meal clan. As upmarket burgers go it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either. It was a good size, nice and thick but a little overcooked for my liking. Lacking the pink in the middle juiciness I have come to expect from a premium burger bar. There were a few different chicken or beef burger offerings on the menu, with varying degrees of deep fried accompaniments thrown in with your burger of choice. Fries were above average, skins left on and nice and crispy. Portion size seemed about right too, I wasn't stuffed when I left but I wasn't still craving more either. I felt this was the best of a bad bunch. Your aren't spoilt for choice for a pre Eurostar bite to eat, so if I was here again I may well return. If you put it in a normal location where I had more choice then I wouldn't bother.

After looking at other comments I had the same issue. I ordered the big bird burger which I must say was awesome!!! But...it doesn't say anywhere it is a chicken burger. It was a surprise but very tasty :) I know it has bird in title but if chicken isn't advertised anywhere then no one would expect chicken. Very nice but needs to be clearer :)

I agree with Duncan, there are a few big players in the Gourmet burger market so it is nice to see another entry/alternative. Having come here to review, I have now read some negative reviews which makes me wonder if my experience was a one-off Lol, but I had a good meal. GBK lately has been off the meal doesn't sit right, my colleague said hers was very fatty and had an upset stomach after (though in the past they have been good). So I was pleased to find this place in St. Pancras after returning from taking a colleague to the airport. The burger tasted good, the meat tasted and felt 'real' Lol. The chips were hot and tasted good (not too fatty, nice and crispy, tasted good with salt on them). Had the stilton cheese and crispy bacon also, some great tastes and after the staff offered me a hand spray to 'wash' my hands (though I was polite and friendly to them earlier so perhaps that's the difference between my experience and the negative review from another visitor). If you're hungry on your travels near St. Pancras, this is a nice out-of-the-way stop.

I placed order online and it was ready to collect 15 minutes later - i found the service good and professional. price is expensive, however when compared to other outlets in the station it is average price. i ordered the "big bird burger" which i found tasty. my only criticism is that it was a chicken burger when it does not say it is a chicken burger on the menu order online menu (i was expecting beef) - altho the clue was probably in the name. fries are nice, skin on altho not very well seasoned. if eating in euston it is either here or Leon, dont even bother with other outlets.

Visited for the first time yesterday, and was really pleased with my Guv'Nor burger and fries. If you've been to Byron or Five Guys, the burgers are similar. The fries are plain (read: unseasoned), and for some that may be "dull", but I like choosing my seasoning rather than having oversalted McDonalds fries. Inside is a little small, however there's plenty of space outside - as long as the waiting masses haven't pinched the seats.

The burger in general is a better quality than an average fast food burger. However, the price is a bit too high for this burger. The bun is thin and light which is not balanced in away with the burger inside! THEY DO NOT HAVE A TAKE AWAY SPECIAL BAG FOR THE BURGER AND SHIPS! That's annoyed me a lot. Finally the services at the till was way too bad and unwelcoming at all! She explained to me that Emmental is a kind of salad! To conclude, it is OK if you are in a rush and don't have enough time to go outside the station for other options.
