This place has been taken over by new management and ever since the service and food has been impeccable. There is a restaurant and grocery store interconnected where prices are very affordable and amazing and food portions are very big. Cannot recommend enough!

Had a great night here, food was delicious. Steak was a little difficult to chew, other than that the rest was good. Staff was super friendly, a cozy Italian restaurant around the corner.

Came here with a few friends in mid afternoon for lunch as we had an event nearby. It was located in the middle of a ? residential area, roughly 5 minutes walk from nine elms station which is quite convenient. The place looks traditional like the ones you think you hit a jack pot thinking it’s a little cute place with slightly over priced but good quality of food. None of us are Portuguese but it seems to quite popular as there are many photos of famous people visiting this restaurant. But unfortunately, none of us liked our dish. The seafood dishes are very blend and was somewhat dry and the duck (weekend dish) was saucy but strange taste of sauce. The waiters didn’t seem to be welcoming initially and one served us well half way. Overall, it was an interesting experience but I would definitely not return as not worth the price.

This is my FAVOURITE restaurant in London , I feel like I am in Portugal and made to feel like one of the family each time I’ve been - the food is just gorgeous and i genuinely can not recommend this place highly enough. Looking forward to my next visit and more of the super red wine, olives , bread and seafood rice !!

Great cafe with excellent coffee and perfect egg tarts. Kind but confused service. Excellent deli attached. My favourite is the Portuguese men starting the day off right when I get my morning coffee.

I really like this place. It serves good quality food and I go in for breakfast from time to time. I like how bad the kareoke singers are on Friday evening as I walk past ... it's genuinely amusing and I think it adds a level of lightness to the area. It has a 5 star hygiene rating.

We had a good lunch here, ordered bacalhau - it came with onion and vegetables on top, it was delicious and picanha with rice and beans. For most that know picanha, you'd expect it to be soft and have a nice texture, but ours was quite like rubber. Good beans though.. they serve a good, red sangria and the staff was really nice, so I would still recommend it, just avoid the picanha.

Really enjoyed my bifana (hot pork sandwich) today. Had a bit of a moment - it really was delicious and big! Recommend with chilli and mustard. Next time...the special prego (beef, cheese, egg sandwich). A good, simple cafe with hearty Portuguese food. I will go again.
