We have been going to Retsina & Mousaka since 1998, and I am not sure why I am posting a review only now. We love the food and the atmosphere, although with the current lockdown rules, we are picking up takeaway orders to eat at home. Highly recommend.

Great tasty Greek (Cypriot) food. The place is small but cosy and has its own charm in a way. Very genuine. Food gets served in a reasonable time and the staff is very friendly. One of the most outstanding, Greece food situated in Ealing. The fish Mezes, the salads and cold appetisers are freshly made and delicious. Wine is incredible in quality. The staff is friendly. Really worthy place to eat.

I've been here several times. All times the food was amazing. Good customer service. We ordered fish as a main dish all the time. Fish is the best here. Very nice wine, side dishes. Greek ambiance. Definitely will go again. It is better to book a table in advance.

After being recommended by our irish friend, we were so impressed with the food and how friendly and attentive the staff/family where! They made the experience unforgettable, so much so I brought my family when they visited from Ireland, Both Maria and Angelo (proud owners) spent time talking to them and even giving them complimentary drinks! Been here a few times now and always get a fantastic friendly welcome and great service. The food really is brilliant, great portion sizes all served with incredibally tasty salad and olives to start with, followed by mains all served with both rice and fried potatoes. Both the mixed grill and butterfly prawns are to die for. The house white wine is also lovely. Now probably our favourate restaurant in West London.

Great local Greek restaurant. Seems family run. We were a party of five and ordered the special menu - it's basically a large selection of meze and main dishes. The food was plentiful and almost everything was prepared by the chefs. Good quality, flavours and ambience. Would go again

The atmosphere is lovely and cosy, the food incredible, very reasonably priced and amazing service too. Ordered a Covid take away from here last weekend. Food was amazing. Dolmades, Souvla, vegetarian moussaka and a fresh greek salad. Angelou and Maria were as friendly as always. Generous portion size as always, way too much food, we couldn't finish it all. Look forward to visiting again.

The very best real and authentic Greek Restaurant in London. Despite the very difficult trading conditions all restaurants have gone through in the last 12 months due to Covid, Angelo’s keeps trying hard to keep it all together. He has been under tremendous pressure for many reasons but he is totally dedicated to keeping his cooking passion through his lovely place going. I know he works night & day just to make ends meet and he deserves all the support he can get. Can't wait until April 2021 when Covid restrictions are lifted - I'll be there eating his lovely REAL Greek food at a table of his!!!

Huge portions, amazing souvlaki and a family feel. Mains come with a beautiful salad topped with huge chunks of feta and roast potatoes on the side. The pork souvlaki was really succulent, the moussaka came to the table steaming. It felt like eating at somebody's home and they stuff you so full of food that you'll probably need that shot of Ouzo on the way out.

My favourite restaurant in London - I usually order the same old things (love the dolmades and souvla!) but whenever I've pushed the boat out to try something new I've never been disappointed. The portions are still huge even though they've been reduced in size compared with a couple of years ago, and I love the fact that they have a dessert trolley - leads to some surprises! The staff are really friendly and treat you like family without being intrusive - could not recommend this place more.

Great food, great ambience and great service !!! Being greek myself there are very few restaurants that I have been too in london that live up to this standard. From the quality homemade dips to the perfectly cooked meat, this restaurant offers amazing variety of greek foods that remind me of cyprus. The only small issue I have with this place is that I eat so much, that my wife likes me less and less everytime I go.

When it comes to Greek food Retsina & Mousaka is unrivalled. Their authentic dishes will exceed the expectation of even the most prenentious customers. I would recommend trying their Tzatsiki followed by a Mousaka. The best thing is that it is a family runned reastaurant so you can rely on their genuine knowledge of greek cuisine. Retsina even offers a vegetarian menu for all those who prefer not to eat meat.

Okay hear me out: either the owner of Retsina is blind or we just got a Legit WEDDING BANQUET for the price of an average dinner for 2. While I am sad that I couldn’t eat it there (young children 🥺) I beg you to keep this restaurant in business for as long as possible. The food is great and the service is always fast and polite. It’s a humble restaurant but worth the visit.
