Lovely atmosphere, it makes you feel cozy and cool at the same time. I ordered a burger and my date did too, however his was a bit raw in the middle. I would appreciate if next time they ask how we like the burger

Had high expectations for the steak after reading other reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy mine. However, everything else we tried was great and the service was beyond excellent.

Had a Sunday roast whilst my husband had a Butcher's Feast. The roast meat was tender, but very chewy. The potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked and dry. The roast vegetables and tenderstem broccoli were nice. The gravy was average, lacking depth of flavour. Not really a Sunday roast I'd go back for if I'm honest, I'll stick to a traditional pub roast. My husband's meal was also a bit disappointing as well, especially given the price point of £21, the quality and serving felt a bit of a rip off. The service however was attentive and friendly so that's where what the stars are really for. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the meal, which is a shame as we have tried their other locations previously and had a better food experience.

Another great steak night at Roxy 😋 Food is delicious and all the staff are always friendly. Proud to say that we are regulars. Our favourites are the ribeye steak and ribs. Cocktails are always so nice. Would definitely recommend this place… Sadly a table of 4 walked out and didn’t pay. Could not believe it. They should be ashamed of themselves! A really good evening out. a lovely meal in a relaxed environment. The staff were friendly and attentive, the steak (fillet) was spot on and really tasty. 🎉 INCREDIBLE STEAK! 🤩 We enjoyed a marvelous dinner here in this cozy spot just 2 minutes down the road from the East Putney station. One of the tastiest steaks I’ve ever had in London and such good value for London at just £15. The staff were all friendly and the service was great too!

Our most favourite steak place. Have tried steaks in several other places but the satisfaction of eating steak at Roxie's (Putney) is unparalleled. Creamed spinach, mushrooms, Mac n cheese are all great and complement the steak! After visiting four or five different restaurants my wife and I usually say shall we go to Roxie next time. 😀 Steak cooked to perfection! Definitely a must try at least once! You won't be disappointed!

Great food served by lovely staffs, you may wonder why the 3 star, that's for saying and have no record of our bookings. You just don't do that. Upgraded to 3.5 stars because they did make some sort of amends including a free glass of bubbly each.

I really liked this restaurant...the cocktails were lovely and the environment and service was very friendly...I would recommend dining here with your friends or partner. I ordered the prawns, olive and bread to share and the sauce that the prawns came in was devine...I asked the waiter for more sauce to drizzle on my steak and chips which you can see I had for dinner...no room for dessert though 🙈🙈🙈

If you just want a goood steak than this is the right place. Quality of the meat is very good and it is cooked perfectly. Prices are reasonable and I think it's better than hawksmoore but that's my own personal opinion( for sure it's cheaper)

Before we arrived, I called ahead to make see if there were any available reservations for that evening. I could tell that they were extremely busy, but both people I spoke with (I believe it was the male bartender and the woman doubling as a hostess/server) were extremely nice and informative. I made a reservation for later that evening. When we arrived, the excellent service continued. But on top of that, the food was AMAZING. We both ordered the sirloin, rare and medium rare. Both cake cooked exactly as expected. The chimichurri sauce was also amazing, but the steak was excellent without it. Anyway, great place. Very well priced for the high quality. We will definitely be back!

I had a steak here 2 years ago. I think it was either the hangar or the flat iron steak. I remember it very well: it was very tender and properly SALTED!!!! It tasted fantastic. I was so surprised to find a properly seasoned piece of meat. Since everyone tends to be terrified of salt these days, which is complete nonsense of course. Not so in this place. It was delicious. I also enjoyed the ambience, the dark brown colors and wood panels. Nice restaurant with great juicy nicely salted steaks. Recommended!

A really great local steak joint. The service was very friendly and food was excellent. Ribeye was perfectly cooked and of good quality and the portion or ribs super tasty. The service was also excellent and friendly. What really makes this place stand out is the restrained prices. A big portion of ribs is £12 and a rib eye £21. A portion of fries is £3. Contrasting this with other places, particularly in town and this place is a steal .

Had my husband's 30th birthday in Roxie steak -Putney last night and the whole experience was amazing! The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The food was cooked to perfection,all of our friends really enjoyed .We had the downstairs area all to ourselves and the staff were very helpful with decorating and bringing out my husband's cake . We really enjoyed our meal at Roxie Steak. We naively walked in without a booking and soon realised our mistake. But the staff were very accommodating and made a plan for us. It's great to see unusual cuts taking pride of place on the menu these days. We skipped the usual sirloin/rump/fillet offering and ordered a picaña and flatiron steak. The meat was excellent, tender, flavourful and prepared to specification. The wine, steak & side combo for £20 is good value. I was surprised to see a Dom Pedro on the dessert menu, but it turns out the owners are from Cape Town, so that explains it.

Visited on a Sunday late afternoon, the tables are soooo close together we struggled to choose a seat that wasn't on your neighbours lap. With bulky coats and scarfs this time of year it's was a squeeze. Order was taken quickly, drinks and food came out without delay. Steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Tip- order the chunky chips not the fries! Staff were REALLY lovely but not overly attentive, took a while to get attention for the bill. Reduced one star due to: - The celery that was placed into my virgin Mary was old/off and dry - Creamed spinach was VERY bland and tasteless.

The food here is good, especially the steaks, much better than the nearby local alternative Popeseye, and imho even beats the more famous chains like Gaucho's and Hawkesmore, in both taste and value for money. My favourites are the rib eye streak or the pork ribs. I wish they would include a side in the price of the mains though. However on Tuesdays they have a rib deal, consisting of pork ribs and fries for £10 which is awesome value. If you don't like steaks or ribs though, they don't have anything much else to offer I'm afraid. Desserts are delicious too, and there are a wide variety of wines. Service and presentation also worth a mention, and it's again a thumbs up. If you can book a table, as it's often busy

This premesis changed hands like the seasons for years. Back then the acid test was if it lasts 3 months we'll check it out. Perhaps that's not the most supportive mentality, but in the back of my mind I struggled to think my business would make a difference in what seemed a systemic problem with this particular spot; perhaps the ley lines are all squiffy there. That, and 10 doors down is an incredible, family-run Italian gaff that I always leave thoroughly sated and satisfied. Now Roxie is here, though, I'm hoping the pattern will break. Roxie isn't unknown to South London - there are 2 others kicking about doing pretty well by all counts, and I'm hoping the success follows through. The steak here was sublime. this is like Gaucho quality steak that just melts in your mouth and puts a big grin on your face. Easily washed down with some equally excellent red wine and chips that, while not the best in the world, hold their own at the top of the field. We spent about £60-70 for 2 with plenty of wine. Would come back in a flash.

For dinner, however, either reservations or no way. The offer is limited but sufficient. The fillet to share, over 400 grams, is very good, but I was left with the rib-eye, about 350 grams.
