There's no doubting the vision and ambition of Sahara Grill. It's an imaginatively conceived restaurant with little expense spared. As a grill house, they offer an extenstive menu, with dishes that are presented straightforwardly. We can't help but wonder, however, how much better these could be if a small fraction of the creativity put into the aesthetical side of things was put into elevating and refining some, especially the mains and especially to justify the prices of a few. There was no faulting their service though. Front of house was regimented, being as welcoming and as accommodating as any restaurant we've been to.

Theres parking on the street which can be busy. Pay and display. Lovely restaurant. Clean and presentable. Made a booking since this place can be quite busy at times. No physical menu only digital which can get from the site/QR code. Excellent quality of food and taste great too! I ordered the chicken tenders as starters and the lamb steak as the main. I do recommend it. Unfortunately there was a bit of delay due to the fact we was around the corner so not visible to the staff to take our order. I had to prompt them to take our order which they apologised and took our order. Apart from that no other issues. Toilets are very clean. Highly satisfied and would recommend.

I’ve been to a different branch every time I went, but loving the experience in the other branch made me want to try this place out. I’ve tried a lot of their menu before, but not from here. The building was beautiful to look at, very clean and very polite staff. It’s always a pleasant experience going to a Sahara grill! Food is always on point with an artistic presentation. Menu has plenty to choose from and staff keep checking up on you to make sure everything is alright. I’d definately recommend this place!

This is my first time in Sahara Grill Leyton with my sweet family. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They keep coming and investigating if we need anything else. Lamb Sirloin was cooked very nice as the gravy or sauce was outstanding, chicken saute platter was not that great as we are expecting anyway Lamb Chops was very nice as staff (Ridwan) recommended to try which was not disappointed. Overall experience was good. Prices are bit higher but I think alright for the food and presentation. 😀

Had a great experience at Sahara Grill. The service was spot on and the quality of food was excellent. I had the bbq beef burger with steak fries. Been coming here for years and seen this place grow. Always a good meal when I come here. From recent visit, Imran’s customer service was exceptional. Food wise, chicken sauté & Sahara shrimps always hit the spot. I’m not a huge fan of the beef steak here but it’s not bad. Just don’t feel the price justifies the quality. All in all definitely worth a visit.

One of my favourite restaurants for steak. Great food, great customer service. Prices are a little steep, but everything I've tried from their menu has been delicious. I do feel like I always get a well done steak every time despite asking for medium or medium rare but their steaks taste fine regardless. Its the spices, gravy and seasoning on the steak that makes up for it quite well. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, I look forward to returning.

One of the most popular steak restaurants, Sahara Grill. Very good standard of food. Great service. They always have enough staff in the branch to provide the service that customers deserve. I have been visiting Sahara Grill for delicious steaks for over a decade. I have never been dissapointed. I really missed going Sahara Grill during Lockdown. Halal food, a dedicated place for performing salah (prayer), private booths for families. They really do have the whole package. I love the spicy wings, t-bone steak, mushroom sauce and apple crumble for dessert. They have a kids menu too. This is a great restaurant and I can't wait to go back. Honestly hands down our go to place with the kids. The staff are lovely and attentive. The Mango frappe is delicious! We order the Sahara platter usually(which is quite spicy but we love that(and something for the kids on the side! They provide crayons and colouring books for the kids which is brilliant! The decor is absolutely genius! You must try the chilli sauce mouth watering!

Fantastic place to dine in. The decor is nice atmosphere is enjoyable, food they have a lot of variety and are always consistent! The chilli sauce i just cant get enough of! However i found that the service has gone slightly downhill and my most recent visit they have changed those thick tissues and replaced them with cheaper white ones. I have been to all the Sahara branches many times and found this the best 1! I will always be back here as long the food quality and the prices don’t go crazy!

Came here in the beginning and returned recently for a family meal. Pleased to say they have maintained their standards. Food pricey as should be executed in these types of places. Good customer service. Food was fresh and tasty and if you ask for extra hot then don't be surprised when it turns up and is extra hot! Bang on to my palette. The extra touch for me was when the WHOLE service paused for namaz... rare to see in this day and age... they have their priorities right.

Very well organised and COVID-19 Secure. All staff were wearing masks and providing table service. There was no printed menu - only digital menu - to reduce physical contact! Cleanliness and tidying up were a regular feature. Staff were cleaning tables, doors, surfaces frequently and after each customer usage! Staff were friendly and welcoming! Food was really good and delicious! But the price was really expensive compared to the quality and quantity of the food! But overall, it was good experience!

This place is one of the most expensive and overrated places I've been to in a very long time. £8.50 for a single burger!... And let's not talk about the other items on the menu. Great praying space for Muslim customers!!! Although the staff were quite rude. When we went over to pray staff members said ‘staff have priority’ which is understandable but could have been articulated better (including tone), because of the priority we ended up waiting over 10mins to pray! Great menu, however, presentation could have been better including the service as we waited a while to receive our food. Family friendly.

I visited this restaurant today with a small group of friends. Iftar was at 8:38 our food was served at 9:20. The staff did forget one of our order and we had to remind them 3 times too! Rib eye steak is very SMALL for £20.90 I don't think it's worth the price. Expensive menu and the portions are small even the chips servings are small but food is delicious nonetheless.

This was my second time here with a friend who wanted to try something great. When we arrived we had to wear a mask but were allowed to take it off when seated. We wanted to eat a beef t-bone steak with mojito drinks & hummus. After waiting for 40 long minutes finally the steaks arrived. To our surprise the taste, appearance and overall presentation was amazing. The meat was succulent, soft and very tasty. The source made thick and creamy which made the meat taste even better. We loved the food. It was served with chips which was great. But when it came to the bill... it was a surprise to see £75 for a dinner for 2 people. Hence a 3 star rating. But overall experience and food was amazing. So I do recommend this place but make sure to check the prices first.

Great customer service experience! The food was tasty and was of a combination of international flare. The rice portion was large so if you are a big eater ensure you ask for your take away container. Appetizers were good portions as well. Kids menu is practical with nice options. If you are a smalll eater it can work for you. The Sahara Passion was a tasty mocktail. The price is moderate. I will definitely return to try out the rest of the menu.

Visited this place with my wife and two kids. You can surely count on this restaurant for a 5* meal. The food is amazing. Such a nice blend of herbs and spices. You can taste the freshness of all the food which was prepared. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The surroundings is spectacular. You would never feel you are in Leyton. All round winner for a family meal, even a good child's menu which they will enjoy. Nice selection of drinks including mocktails and fine selection of deserts for those with a sweet tooth. My mother wears a niqab and they refused to book us a room as there weren't enough people (8 of us going and the room caters for 12). felt like they value the money they make from 12 people more then providing a service to their target clientele. Friendly staff, good food (highly recommend the lamb chops) although on the pricey side. This is especially evident in their desserts which in my opinion are extremely overpriced. We ordered the Coppa Straciatella (chocolate ice-cream sundae to you and me). For £7.95 I was expecting something at least two people could share but it was extremely modest in size. I could have eaten one myself with no problems and me and my friends were struggling to have some manners in sharing. Would go again but not for dessert.

3 stars because rare steak is called rare for a reason. There is absolutely no reason that a rare steak should be overcooked at all! Besides that the waiters are polite and the place is pristine. Saying that be clear when you're ordering because they do get it wrong eg scampi - prawn, rump- ribeye etc. I dont think it's good for steaks it only stands out because its Halal. Could be better!

Food was good but i have to be honest have eaten here plenty of times and noticed as my family did how spicy the food had become and did not enjoy as expected, need to to calm down on the chilies, the lamb chops are my kids favorite and they can go through 5 portions easily but couldn't even finish 3, the chicken wings were very spicy aswell, i think the management need to address this issue as i have spoken to quite alot of friends who eat out regular and they have noticed the difference in how spicy the food has become, overall the food was good, good service by the waitor Islam, who rushed around and catered well with our requests.

This was my first visit to a restaurant in London on my visit from Toronto, Canada and I was very impressed to find great steaks and burgers in a halal restaurant setting. We had 8 of us that each enjoyed our meals and tried a bit of everything. I definitely recommend the sahara grill wings that were spicy with a bit of BBQ flair. Had the t-bone steak, even though I'm a pretty petite person, and was able to polish it off. I heard that the chefs take time out to pray during maghrib and this was so refreshing to see. Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a great meal.
