Reviews of Salvador & Amanda
S. R.
Had a lovely time here! Bottomless Sangria (red/white) was so good and the food was delicious. My fave dish was the lamb skewers. Music was great. The service was good too. Will definitely be going again.
C. V.
Really enjoyed the Fever Brunch at Salvador and Amanda. For £37, you get bottomless of either Cava, Sangria or Bellinis. The team were super generous with bottomless drinks and arrived at the table really quickly. The Spanish guitar live music was really lovely. Indoor decor was very pretty, with tables set up in little cottages with windows and roses. The food was fine, not world class tapas but absolutely great for the price. Would definitely recommend for a group brunch and would absolutely go back. Thanks Salvador and Amanda!!
L. Y.
Had a wonderful date night here, great ambiance and tasty tapas. The restaurant is so thoughtful brought us a desert as a little birthday treat for my partner. She loved everything, thanks for a great night. Definitely recommend for anyone whose after a date night and tasty food. Muchas Gracias!
A. D.
My partner and I had such a wonderful time at Salvador and Amanda. We visited to celebrate a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to help make it special, especially Raphael! The food was beautiful, the Thursday tapas deal made it even better. We are so grateful and will definitely be coming back! x

First time I have visited this place. It is a fun and nice place, cool decoration. The DJ playing was not the best on the night I went and the service at the bar was a little bit slow. All the staff was nice don't get me wrong. And I had a nice night. When it comes to the prices, I know it is central London, but for the type of place that it is I probably can find 3 or 4 similar places just around the corner with more reasonable prices. Anyway, do you want a fun night out? You can consider this place if you are around.
J. M. L.
Great atmosphere and service for a good price. Croquettes recommended 100%!
M. W.
Food was really tasty and the £14 Jug of Sangria was awesome. The service was pretty mixed, there was one guy who was really nice, but most of the rest seemed quite disinterested. A little strange seeing xmas decorations up still. But overall a nice evening out!
S. M. P.
We went there to have dinner and we were hungry after finishing because the dishes are very small and, besides, they forgot to bring us some dishes. With that high prices we thought we would get something better.
However, we stayed there when the disco time started and it was really enjoyable. We loved all the songs and atmosphere.
In conclusion, we would recommend this place if you want to dance but not for having dinner.
J. G. S.
Have been here a few times, very nice place, with great music and food, recommended it!
J. G.
Super place, good choice for pre theatre food and drinks staff very efficient, close to West End theatres
M.
A nice little place to see Flamenco on Wednesday evenings. The beers are Cruzcampo, Mahou- full Spanish flavour of drinks and food. Female staff are great, male managers it seems need to be friendlier to the staff
N. M.
Good spot for tapas! Really enjoyed the gambas, the calamari, and the goat cheese croquettes. Service was good, albeit a bit slow. The place has a really interesting vibe, it’s completely red and feels more like a club than a restaurant.
G. C.
Not busy when we arrived at 6pm. Lovely restaurant, excellent staff. We had the set menu pre-booked and paid as part of a theatre deal and it entitled us to a 2 course meal, chosen from the set menu.
We first had a selection of meat and cheese with crackers. This was followed by 2 selections each from the set menu. Portions, co sidering it was tapas, was generous, especially the meatballs (4) and the patatas bravas and spanish omelette. We were then brought some lovely cake - chocolate and a ery nice almond tasting one? Beautiful. We also had a large jug of sangria and as it was during the 5-7pm happy hour, it was around £15 - result! And it was very enjoyable. All in all, a very enjoyable meal.
P. H.
As an efficient pre-theatre meal or a first date, this is a good venue. We ordered 3 tapas each and a litre of sangria and were finished in 50 minutes.
A. S.
Nice place for an intimate dinner. They do happy hour and specials on most days. Quiet and intimate. Has a romantic vibe to it.
L. M.
Had our last meal in London here after a 7 day visit from Sydney, great tapas, cool atmosphere and music to match! Excellent service, good choice of food and drinks, look forward to returning next time we're in London!
N. P.
Great tapas, sangria & Flamenco show. Lovely experience for a recent birthday. Pricey for what we had though.
J. M.
Very cool place, had such a good time with a good selection of latino music and prices are not bad for central London.
R. D.
Truly my favourite restaurant in London. Delicious food, incredible Sangria and a really cosy atmosphere. Convenient location - very close to Leicester Square Station. Divine!
J. P. S.
We had our Xmas party there and everything was exact what I was hoping for. Service, food, drinks, atmosphere was great. Karolina the manager made sure that my party would be fully satisfied, she did a superb job. Will be back again for sure.
L. V.
Went to eat here before going to see Motown the musical. We were a group of three and we had a taste card so it was a real bargain. They also had happy hour (which runs from 5pm until 9pm daily) which meant that it ended up being a real bargain. We chose the sangria to drink. For food, we went for a variety of tapas: patatas bravas, stuffed peppers, grilled vegetables, roast chicken wings, chorizo and butter bean salad, squid ink risotto with prawns and calamari and fried octopus and potato. All the food was tasty - the squid ink risotto was my favourite! The waitresses were prompt and helpful. I would definitely Italy go again.
C. D.
I've been here before just for drinks and liked the atmosphere. Visited last Saturday for a meal and it still had a buzzy feel about it which was good. However, the service was REALLY slow. It took over 10 minutes to order any drinks as no one came near or by our table. For the first time ever in a restaurant, our food actually arrived before our drinks! Weird! To top the evening off, we were overcharged. We were refunded but it was not the experience we were hoping for on our night out.
L. W.
Went for a date and the atmosphere was really nice. Food and drinks were alright but a little overpriced considering the quality and portion size. The staff were really friendly so it was a good experience overall.
P. P. f. a. y. r. n.
Brilliant staff and excellent value for money! 2 cocktails for £12 on a London high street is unheard of, but they have them here! You can also get 4 beers for £12 another bargain!
The food was lovely too. We ordered one of everything on the menu and the only thing I wasnt keen on was the tomato bread as it was a bit plain. Other than that, 5 stars!
D.
Still a great atmosphere with good food and drink.. I love this place because it attracts a slightly older age group. If you love Latin Music this is the place to come.
S. A.
Good atmosphere and decoration but average quality tapas in small size. Service could have been better in terms of speediness and attentiveness but the waitress were very friendly at all times.
R. C.
Visited with my mum last week. Tried a wide selection of dishes and was very happy with all of them. The Chorizo lollipops were an interesting take and were perfectly seasoned. Calamari was perfectly cooked. Lamb skewers were supremely tasty. Oh, and the Sangria was very nicely balanced, great taste. Literally the only improvement is that we would have liked the fruit to be in bigger pieces.
F. “.
Came here twice in 2022 and it was a good experience, nice Latin music, and most people were friendly.
V. Q. B.
Very slow to take our order. Food was good but not great. Sangria isn't sangria.
However, the ambiance is nice.
J. R. L.
Handmade food, quite authentic. Great service, really friendly and helpful. A bit expensive but it worth the experience. The board is really good, we try a nice range of tapas and I can recommend Spanish tortilla, secreto ibérico and goat cheese croquettes.
p. h.
Great food, great atmosphere and a happy hour that goes on for a large part of the evening. Will definitely revisit.
A. S.
Nice cosy atmosphere, good food and happy hour with 2-4-1 cocktails. DJ start playing after dinner, tables are gradually removed to open up a dance floor in the back as people finish dinner. Great dancing to latin music and also some pop music.
J. P.
Accommodating, very reasonably priced, attentive without being intrusive. Good food too!
O. J.
Nice atmosphere and delicious tapas. If there's a flamenco show, you're in for a treat 😊 Nice staff
C. C.
Amazing. I would definitely go back. The staff were friendly and attentive. The tapas were also very nice. I would recommend anyone to try the chorizo lollipop stick tapas, it's the best thing we have ever had! maybe stay away from the ham and cheese croquettes though as they tasted like mushroom not meat. Overall we were very happy with the restaurant. We went on Friday at 6pm and managed to get sangria during happy hour and a cheap set menu each that included a ham/cheese board, 2 tapas, and churros. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is because it's very dark inside, which created more of a nightclub atmosphere than restaurant.
M. F.
It was a bit quiet when I arrived with a friend, so couldn't tell you what it's like if it ever gets busy but nice decor and it made a refreshing change being served by Spanish people in a Spanish themed bar. Unfortunately though this is where the compliments end, as the 2 Spanish draught beers that we ordered arrived warm and were totally unappealing and hard to drink, suffice to say, we only stayed for 1 drink.
f. m. y.
I’m giving a three stars because the show and the ambience was amazing, now the food ? I don’t know who is the chef but definitely I can tell you that he has no idea about Spanish food. And if he is Spanish then : POR FAVOR what was that ? £40 spent in food that I couldn’t even swallow, thanks God I ordered calamari otherwise 🤦🏻♀️. And the black rice ?? I spent a beautiful night going and coming to the bathroom of my house. For sure that place is a one time experience. Shame ! Definitely a bad food experience can ruin a whole place.
M. G.
I've walked past this place countless times and unfortunately never seen it. A friend told me about a flamenco group from Seville who were performing there so I booked a table for dinner. Service was lovely and food was very tasty. What blew me away was the flamenco performed during our meal - it was amazing! The group 'brujas flamencas' I think was their name, worked wonderfully together. I don't know how often the performers change but regardless, it such an intimate venue so was a fabulous evening!
f.
I had a really great time here when I came back to London to visit friends and family recently. We were sitting in the table closest to the dj booth for dinner. We enjoyed a range of delicious tapas and drinks. After a certain time, they have to prepare for the evening club/dance floor. This means that the tables in that area must be moved out so, that’s something to consider when you are seated close to the dj. Overall, a great atmosphere and lovely food and drinks! I’m looking forward to coming back here the next time I’m back in London ✨
S. O.
Went on Monday so drinks and food were half price, but I would have been happy paying the full price based on the quality of the food. Aside from chicken wings every dish was gorgeous - the ham and cheese croquettes especially. Fantastic cosy vibe and great music add to a vibrant experience. Great little gem in the middle of London. Will be revisting.
R. R.
Out of this world, food was amazing, served fast and with care, the staff are lovely, from the service team to the security, all were friendly, welcoming and frankly amazing. I'd attend here every week if I could, I didn't want to leave. The atmosphere was great, music on point, service promt and food so tasty. I'll be back for sure, thank you to the entire team, you made mine and my guests evening a wonderful evening and experience.
b. b.
Live music was excellent...food ..tried only tapas which can be better... staff very helpful and polite ... all together a nice experience
A. A.
I've been here with my friend for a quick meal and we loved it. Very good tapas and friendly staff!😊

BEDT PLACE TO DANCE REGGAETON IN LONDON !!! Very central, good people, waitress and managers are amazing good VIBES AND food. Don't think and Just GO and EXPERIENCE IT !!!
Y. Y.
We were a group of 10, and they set up a special booth in the middle of the restaurant for us, which provided some privacy and Covid-19 distance. The food is mostly tapas, and 4-5 tapas are plenty for a couple of people. If you get there before 7pm, you get discount on the Sangria which was really good. Get the salted Alemandres. They will add to any dish you eat. There are enough vegetarian option such as grilled vegetables, salad, fried cheese, and more.
A. C.
Really nice place! And friendly staff. Music on poooinnttt!
The food was actually pretty good. It was the first time i had batatas bravas in the uk that were actually pretty decent compared to the real deal from spain!
Attentive staff, couldn't fault them. The reception guy could have been a bit more friendly but overall really nice place- cannot wait for covid 19 to be over to see how the atmosphere really is supposed to be!
C.
The music last night was epic! The DJ played all my favourite songs!
Great atmosphere and good cocktails!
Haven't tried the food.
j. c.
Good vibes, good bottomless sangria and live music was great too.
A. L.
Cousin brought me here for the first time. Loved it! Portions were huge and yummy. Staff were a bit slow though.
V. A.
Went for my wife's birthday. Good food and drinks and nice atmosphere. Booked in adavance and the staff were really helpful in helping me arrange the evening.
T. R.
We got their at 9pm and was told that they don't serve cocktails at that time but we were told when we booked it that they do
B. P.
When you walk down the stairs from the street level in London, you don't know yet, but you travel to Spain. The tapas were probably the best tapas I had outside Spain.
s. h.
Great brunch deal, fab food and drink but slow service.
L. D.
Lovely atmosphere with great music and chance to dance after you've eaten. The food was delicious as was the Sangria. Friendly service and reasonably priced. We had a great evening, will be going back. Definitely recommend a night out there whether there's 2 of you or a group!
N. F.
Good food in a fun, quirky environment. Too bad kids can't come.
T. A.
Friendly staff and nice tapas...the interior and ambient is very unique and music to compliment the food.
S. D.
We had a nice carafe of sangria, but the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. The staff was not overly friendly.
E. S.
Delicious tapas + live and amazing flamenco music and dancing. I could've been in Spain. It's basement level but the decor makes up for it.
S. T.
The decor of this place is great, a lot of space and most importantly the food was very good!! It's a little expensive (it is Covent Garden remember, but we had a tastecard so 50% off food).
However, the music slowly got louder and louder so my friend and I were almost shouting at each other so we could hear. Also the women's toilets are so badly designed, it is very difficult to get in the cubicle and shut the door as there is NO room.
But again, food was good, also seemed to have a decent happy hour. We had 2 cocktails for £12.50 and it was from 5pm to 8pm.
J. V.
Absolutely Fantastic... My Girlfriend treated me to dinner and drinks for my Birthday and it was simply brilliant. When booking we got two of the offers 1) Four cocktails for £20 and 2) Two free glasses of Sangria with two tapas dishes per person. These are both amazing value for money!
First of all the atmosphere and decor inside is quirky, it doesn't look like alot from the outside but its a different ball game inside! The music is spanishy, and the decor is vibrant
The staff were super friendly too from being on the door to the waitress and Bar Staff.
The sangria itself was traditional and Super tasty , The food was incredible aswell.
Thank you for a lovely evening and a great meal. We cant wait to come back for more!!
T. C.
Venture past the small entrance down the stairs for really great food, great service and funky ambiance. Booked through Groupon but offers available anyway. Good for couples and groups.
F. D.
Great food great atmosphere and good friendly service, the chicken wasn’t as good as the other meats but it’s totally worth a visit.
J. K.
Really enjoyed the dining experience at Salvador &Amanda. They friendly staff and unique interior combine with good food to deliver a special evening out.
V. G.
Nice place with a good atmosphere, hidden in busy Covent Garden. We went for an early dinner. When we arrived we had to wait a little to be noticed and shown to our table. Once seated the waiters were a bit pushy rushing us to order, but we asked for a few minutes. After that we had to wait a good 20 minutes for someone to attend our table again. However, the waiter was friendly, allowed us to try two of the wines from the menu to be able to decide which one to order. We shared some croquetas, a cheese board and some albondingas, and tried the almond and pear and chocolate and organge tarts for dessert. Both the food and the wine was nice. The music was a bit loud but generally the atmosphere is nice. Service could improve a bit.
n. 1.
Went on a Tuesday and there was some live music which was nice. Food was ok - I ordered the steak which I was told came with nothing else (I asked if there was sauce or salsa), therefore I ordered a side of fries plus a few other dishes - yet the steak did eventually turn up with its own dipping sauce and side of fries! Service was erratic and overall quality of this restaurant is 3* but the happy hour is excellent value in a very central location and so I feel this brings it to 3.5 stars. Turns into more of a club after 11pm. Great place to let your hair down and get the drinks flowing in Central London.
L. L.
Great find for an improvised late lunch. Amazing decorations and great atmosphere, almost like an industrial boudoir. Food was very good although service can be improved. The place was half empty so I can't overall complain. Bathroom needs sorted out: one was out of order, one didn't lock and the third has a weird pillar in it and it's so cramped you an barely get in!! I will give it another go.
J. R.
Highly recommend, the food was lovely and the service was great! Cant wait to revisit
C. S.
Came here for the first time a few nights ago.
Used taste card to get 50% off with no hassle. Waiter clearly stated what was eligible to have the discount (Everything bar specials) and we had happy hour. Very good service except one waitress who I asked the bill for and never came back.
Food - amazing
Drinks - amazing
Prices(with taste Card and happy hour) - amazing!Service - Amazing
Decor - beautiful
Only comment would be that my chair was too high for the table (sat on the bench) and this caused discomfort after a long time
A. T.
Fabulous! You must go here. Funky decor. Delicious and wonderfully presented food. Great atmosphere and excellent service.
H. L.
I went for my friends birthday on a friday night. 11 of us in total. The service was 10/10...very polite attentive staff. The music was amazing from start to finish and had a great vibe with people dancing.
I would've rated this place full stars if our food had come out altogether and if the toilets were cleaner. Other than that a great night!
H.
I booked a large birthday party through Salvador & Amanda and they were amazing! So helpful planning in advance over email and on the night. Sometimes tapas can be overpriced for very little but we had plenty of food and didn't pay too much at all. It was delicious, had a great vibe and the staff were charming - got lots of compliments on my choice of venue, will definitely be going back!
F. C.
We were 10 people on the way to the theatre. We had the Group menu which was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. A slight hiatus between courses was a tad stressful but we got to the theatre on time and the group was delighted with restaurant. Agree with Sarah about the Ladies - very squashed indeed! We were early evening so loud music was not a problem.
R. H.
Great pre-theatre venue for tapas and drinks.
C. T.
It was nice and everything was fine. Was expecting a different atmosphere but that's not their fault really. Thought the food was nice but nothing special. Liked how they served it all on a rack so the table isn't overflowing but there are better places to go if you're looking for good and reasonable Spanish tapas.
A. A.
I completely love the atmosphere here and the layout of the place. Drinks are really expensive so I do not recommend buying or staying long here if on a budget. Dance floor is fairly small but you will always find room. Students frequent this place but leave much earlier than closure to go other places.
I. B.
This was my first visit. I really liked the place. Cozy and nice atmosphere. Food was ok. The music is really nice as well. Just one thing I would correct - some people like me are really sensitive to some smells and I honestly think waiters and waitresses SHOULDN’T wear perfume, specially the strong fragrances. It makes me feel a bit sick, specially when I’m hungry, waiting to be served or eating.
E. T.
I've been here at least 4 times over the past few years with varying degrees of experience. I usually come here with Tastecard to enjoy 50% off my meal.
The first time I came with 3 friends and sat on the table bang in the middle of the restaurant, it was a nice alcove area for us only and we enjoyed the experience immensely. The tapas were great and service was pretty good too.
The second time I came during a footie match (world cup I believe!) where Spain was one of the teams. This was the best experience ever as you can tell all of the other clientele were supporting their home team and the restaurant had brought in 3 gigantic TV screens so its patrons can watch all the actions in its full glory.
The third time I came for a friend's birthday party for a few drinks and experienced the "late-night clubbing and drinking scene" of the restaurant. The bar queue was slow but the music was decent, although there was not that much dance floor space. This is a lively bar however and they have a late night licence of 3am and as they are right next to Leicester Square station it might be a good hangout for those late night drinkers.
I went again last year before going to a movie and the experience was disappointing. I had a group of about 10 people and the food was very slow to come, very small portions (compared to my portions from years before) and was just mediocre. The service could do with some improvement as well, such as letting us pay quickly please! (we were in a rush!). I would have given this place 4 stars from my first experience but this has now dropped down to 3 due to the latest experience.
B. T.
Lovely staff, nice layout and good drinks. Worth the entry fee
A. G.
Loved this place. Right in the heart of London. Staff incredibly friendly and willing to help. We went to the Covent Garden branch on a Thursday night to see the flamenco show and it was great fun.
The tapas were delicious. The ribs were incredibly soft. The jug of sangria well priced and the music very in sync with the Spanish theme. Make use of their happy hour 5pm-9pm!
A. P.
What a place! a beautiful gem. The food is served fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff are super welcoming and attentive. The music is a mix of Latin and commercial. A very vibrant place with a lovely atmosphere - I will definitely be coming back!
D. D.
This is the best bar and the night out I have had in Covent garden. For a place surrounded by so many tourist, it still seems genuine with locals coming in to salsa dance during the early evening before it turns into a club with a great selection if music and good drinks. Tapas is also sold earlier in the evening so dont be surprised if you are having a meal and then people start dancing around you!
S. D.
Great time!
Good food too!
A. M.
Wonderful place for a night out with great music, atmosphere and people.
Only downside is that some (not all) of the bar staff take advantage of vulnerable customers by making them pay for drinks they didn't order. For example giving you a double when asking for a single shot drink, then rudely accusing the customer for not being clear.
M. A. F.
Great location and music, but mediocre service and crowd. I came for a birthday party on a Saturday night. There was a long queue to get to the bar and I found the waitstaff to be quite curt and rude in general. The song selections were fantastic - late 90s/early 00s - but the music was so loud that having a conversation with my friends felt like a screaming match. While the red ambient lighting creates a cool and sensual atmosphere, it's not enough to warrant rushing back here anytime soon.
R. M.
We had a nice evening here - there's a good happy hour until 8pm, with cheap cocktails, wine and sangria. The food is okay - though I've had better elsewhere - and the service was friendly if a little slow. Good atmosphere!
M.
Tasty food, been several times and I’ll go back 100%
T. L.
Lasting impressions: Buzzy, fun, great environment, caters for a mass tourist market, fabulous cocktails, staff who went out of their way for us
My experience: We booked via YPlan and Salvador & Amanda hadn't received our booking. In spite of this, the staff went out of their way to help us when they were already so busy that they were turning other people away. We were found a good little table where we could see the dancing and hear the music (it's very noisy from the general conversation level) and were served by attentive staff all evening, even though they were obviously rushed off their feet. The music and dancing were pleasant. We generally liked the tapas and there was plenty, so we left feeling full. I think I liked the fish tapas the best - I remember the salmon being very succulent. Also the almond tart was pleasant and refreshing at the end. The cocktails slipped down very easily and they had a cocktail menu that was interesting enough to make it difficult to choose which one you actually wanted.
The verdict: We would probably go back but we aren't in a particular hurry to do so but having said that, we still feel very warm and fuzzy about how the staff handled the mix-up with our booking. People may complain about the customer service here but our experience last night was excellent.
C. S.
Great Spanish tapas in a fun setting, with reasonably priced food and drinks. Knocked one star off, as the waiter asked for extra tip on top of the service charge, suggesting the venue does not give its tips to the waiters. Cannot confirm this though.
L. N.
I have booked a table for dinner during happy hour. All inclusive with 2 bottle of sangria for 3 people was 27 pounds each which is a very good price for a dinner with genuine food, amzing atmosphere and waiters that were once more very attentive to every little details, from our candle to some extra napkins, extra water... everything was done without even requesting it! Guys you are amazing. The team was also happy and their smiles made our experience even better! The place is not huge and can get very crowded at later hours expecially on fridays and weekends so if you don t like overcrowded places book it on weekdays as early as possible and i can guarantee u you will have a special dinner. This is a comeback for me, i keep booking this place for whenever i wanna treat myself without getting bankrupted.
F. A.
Really nice restaurant... good selection of Spanish tapas and drinks. Probably my favourite Spanish restaurant in London. Good location as well and nice decoration. Would be nice to have paella on the daily menu rather then specific days. I was looking particularly for paella but had really nice tapas instead.
A. H.
What a place!!
Absolutely loved the atmosphere, set up and WOW - the food was incredible. It is rather dark inside but it adds to the ambience!
We went on a Saturday night and the music got rather loud. But if you are keen for a delicious meal and a party afterwards then it is definitely the place to go.
S. D.
Friendly staff, great food and atmosphere and a lovely place to take a date. Our server Adrian was very attentive
E. b.
Love it here, good vibe and the decor feels like you are in winter wonderland. The sangria was lovely
S. “. R. H. M.
First visit to a tapas bar outside the US. This one I'll definitely recommend to friends who'll be visiting London. The ambience of the restaurant is cozy with heavy wooden tables and atmospheric lighting. Service was excellent, and our particular server helped make the evening exceptional! As for the menu, would highly recommend the ribs glazed with orange blossom honey, the Padron peppers and any of the dishes with chorizo.
Great place for a memorable evening out, and located in the heart of Covent Garden.
M. A.
The food is very nice as well as the atmosphere created by a very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Donatas the manager was very helpful finding us a table although the venue was busy, thanks again.
Hardly recommend that place.
B. M.
I've been here a few times now and it has a great atmosphere. It feels like a very generic European bar/restaurant. Good cocktail menu but none actually taste that good. Would I come here again? Yes.
M. O.
Happy hour drinks: Really good!
Tapas and desserts: Decent :)
Overall decent little place. Did feel like we were slightly rushed out at the end, but it could be because it's a very popular place.
A. B.
Perfect place for dinner with friends or colleagues. We went on a Wednesday and there was a flamenco show. The food is good and the atmosphere is lovely. Customer service efficient and you can preorder set menu for group of 10 + Good prices
G. F.
The food wasn't very good but it was a beautiful restaurant with lovely staff.
S. M.
A lovely place for dinner on an evening out. A great variety of tapas and drinks available.
c. (.
Latino nigh club for a low cost night.
Ticket is 5£ drinks 8£
Avarage age 20-30's not a classy place.
But enough space to dance Latino and pop music.
Music was okay but environment is a bit too touristic I don't think I will go there again.

Thank you very much for everything we had a wonderful night. Nichola was very attentive and kind person. She explain everything cleary and gave us all neccessary information for our birthday party. Foods was amazing ,so delicious and more than enough for everybody. Stafs were very kind and polite.Nice atmosphere, people, music. I really recommend it! I will definitely come back.
S. F.
Excellent tapas, really deceiving from the outside, reminded me of restaurants in Spain where the inside surprised me with the amount of space. Will definitely visit again as soon as we are back in London
T. O.
Excellent customer service, and atmosphere! Despite being in a tourist area of London this place is a little gem... if you want to dance and have a bit of Latin music avoiding the crowded floors full of salsa instructors showing off their moves...this is your place! (Just a bit slow at the bar at the beginning of the night)
A. G.
The exterior isn't great - but don't be put off!
Head down the stairs for a great place and a fantastic atmosphere.
They have great drinks offers (food smells good but I've never eaten it) and a good atmosphere.
A. o. W.
Good cocktails & great Spanish music!
D. C.
Having been to the one in high holborn, I felt confident that the food would be just as good here. I was wrong: it was better. We went with a larger group this time around, and tried nearly everything on the menu to our tastebuds' delight. Fun decor and great service just added to the experience. I would give 6 stars out of 5 if I could. If you haven't been - go!
A. H.
Very dark. I get that they're trying to recreate outdoor night time seating but...we're in a basement in London. Can't even see the menu. Service is very slow; both mine and the table next door had to ask for a waiter to take our orders. Food is pleasant but pricey if you dont have a 50pc off Tastecard.
A. P.
Great atmosphere for a group party, the food was really tasty & so reasonably priced for a central location, plus they were very helpful with vegan options. The waiting staff were really friendly & we had a brilliant night, couldn't ask for more!
s. C.
The staff were so lovely, the vibe was immaculate and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend
S. H.
Great live flamenco show, fabulous authentic sangria and wonderful food. We really felt like we were on holiday. The happy hour til 9pm helped!
N. T.
We used a Groupon voucher £24 for 6 tapas plus sangria, they have the same deal on the door as well. Real nice food and drinks. Plus flamenco show was very good too
P. A.
Highly recommended Salvador and Amanda for great and a wide variety of tapas. Very easy to get to, friendly staff, and lots of choice. Reasonably priced and they accept taste card! Cocktails were well made and not too pricey given the prime location.
E. G.
I always love coming here! Great food, cocktails. And of course live performance! They also have a happy. Hour
A. M.
I have mixed feelings about this place. Being Spanish myself, we are very critical when it comes about how they export Spanish gastronomy. The food was great. The music too loud and the decoration quite tacky. But the calamari are worth the ride!
V. T.
One of the only places we could find on the area open after midnight for a couple of drinks, next door was a club so didn't fancy that. It's got an dancefloor but it's got a bunch of tables and chairs on the side to sit and chat (loudly). San Miguel on tap and cocktails....Had a good time!
R. B.
Came here with a friend to have a catch up and free drinks (use the drinki app!). Theres a really great atmosphere and super nice staff and quick service! Only downside was the music was a bit loud (it was only 7pm). Nonetheless, a good experience
T. B.
Great food, better service!
Adrian in particular was lovely as our server, and was super helpful and attentive during our meal out. 10/10
S. A.
Very unusual place, ho downstairs to seating area can be very private for your party/group good service very friendly, went on a Groupon voucher well worth it only two items on menu not available but service was nice food was filling drink was on point, tick home a doggie bag, toilet were ok clean but small, was not impressed with having no hot water to wash hands on point with government guidelines, would definitely go back again
J. P. (. J.
Best tapas in covent garden followed by a great night of cocktails and DJ until 3am... everything under one roof!
C. G.
the place itself is beautiful the staff and fantastic the food is good and yes I highly recommend it especially on Mondays
I. S.
Much better than expected. Great food (decent portions), good atmosphere and the staff are polite and attentive. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.
J. C.
My go-to drinking place whenever im hanging out with just a date or a group in the area. Nice energetic vibe and they got some cozy seats. Cool staff as well.
J. B.
Great choice of tapas and friendly service. The decor and the atmosphere are unusual, perfect if you want to surprise a date. Will visit again when in London.
D. M.
It doesn't get any better , the atmosphere last night it was mind blowing !! Love it from every perspective . I couldn't believe that a handful of people in combination with the right music gets to the best results in your psychology. I would love to see this in the future weekends.
A.
Lovely place, great food. Unfortunately the ladies toilets were rather grotty.
K. H.
Good music, reasonable prices for the drinks. The Sangria is very good. Before midnight there aren't many people. Would come again
S.
Food's ok, music too loud for during dinner (fine for after dinner party), staff is ok (they were attentive at times and hopeless at others. Two examples are that i) tapas are meant to be shared and hence more forks were needed and ii) me, a paying customer ready to place an order, was interrupted half way through by other staff because that was more important. I was the only person at the bar at that point mind you). Been there for their flamengo evenings which are much much better.
J.
This place is a little hidden gem. We ordered 8 tapas dishes, all were very tasty. We had potato bravas, crispy calamari, lemon and chillie chicken wings, garlic butter and lemon king prawns, stuffed romesco peppers, sea trout in a pea and tomato sauce, tuna tartare and churros. The potato bravas were a pleasant surprise, such a simple dish but delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't have the scallop as they were not available. I'd definitely visit this place again. A lovely ambience with lovely friendly staff. Certainly recommend if you are in the Leicester square/covent garden area
g. n.
The Best El Salvadorian Restaurent. Jiqiilisco
N. M.
It was very nice experience. The flemengo dance was superb. Sangria really awesome and tapas very good too. Just the lamb on was little etra chewy in few peices, but food overall was very nice.
Will defo go back there.
M. B.
Disappointing. Good location, good location - below average food. Albondigas lukewarm, mediocre gambas, sludgy croquettes. Everything 'cooked fresh "according to the waitress - i find this hard to believe. Deep fried, maybe, but not cooked fresh. Won' t be going back. Obviously copious apologies from the waitress but that's probably where it ends.
S. P.
Went for brunch. The food was good, decent enough, but the staff were rude and not very helpful
A. J.
came here on saturday evening for some pre-drinks after eating at PF Changs. Great location in the heart of london and tourism, great atmosphere and mood lighting inside and most of all great prices for the location! definitely would recommend to others
S. X.
Gentleman (short; big frame) at the door provided top customer service on a weekday. Food devoid of taste. Flamenco dance exceptionally boring - full marks to the dancer who continued to look enthusiastic in front of a bored and uninspired audience. Generally acceptable customer service standard from staff.
C. K.
The big space doesn't make up for food thats just 'ok'. For the same or cheaper you can get much better food in the same area. Staff aren't rude so much as inexperienced and disorganised. If this was in a small town it would be well reviewed but you can't get away with this low level of performance in central London.
M. C. O.
Highly recommend! I did celebrate my Birthday on this place last week and I have to say thank you very much to all the staff at Salvador & Amanda; great music, great food and lovely people :)
V. A.
Lovely live music and service.
Alex was attentive, kind and a lovely person.
Food wasn't great. I recommend this place for a little aperitif.
A. K.
Food was tasteless and boring. Nothing like what we hoped for. Staff were hard to understand even though they sounds nice with their ascents hihii. The décor was nice, bit too dark but it's romantic I guess.
D. F.
Great spot. Good happy hour deals on wine and cocktails and the bartender was very accomodating. The music was fun too, but a bit too loud so it was hard to have a conversation
D. R.
A great selection of tapas dishes. All full of flavour.
The place itself is a bit dark on the inside, but great for a small group of friends if you trust to share food with them.
G. H.
Down in an atmospheric basement near Leicester Square - almost like a little piece of Spain in the West End! Very nice tapas, lovely atmosphere, but a bit on the pricey side.
I. B.
the show was really enjoyable, I loved it. but the food was not that good at all
S. K. G.
Become big fan of Sagres and green roasted peppers - Spanish peppers roasted in olive oil with Desi style touch masala 😋 😍 crunchy n yummy. I had a vegan but got a good words on meat as well from friends.
G. A.
I think one of the best places for a happy hour near the center, especially if in addition to drinking you also want to eat. Excellent price quality and the staff is really kind.
S. M.
Great experience everytime I go. Alcohol is strong and staff is friendly. Music isn't bad at all either! Very recommended!
m. R.
Good service for a group of 7. Food arrived quickly and kept coming. Nice venue and show. A bit noisy, but only in a good way.
D. M.
Wonderful food. Great atmosphere and the Tapas were gorgeous
C. K.
Nice atmosphere overall but kind of pricy for the portions.
Also the waiters were a bit rude.
S. O. J.
Best environment, music and food.
L. P.
I really like this place. Food is good, then they clear the tables away around 10pm and the dancing really gets going. Perfect Friday!
J. D. V.
Nice tapas, happy hour for cocktails and cava, good food. Little pricey though.
J. G.
Great food, atmosphere & the DJ is the Best! Specifically DJ Johny Garcia, playing Latin, RnB & Chart Hits every Friday! 10pm - 3am 🎧🎧🎧 ⚡
P. Z.
Really nice place and all the waiters are amazing! Good music and very good staff that recommend you the best food!
F. D.
Average place, not impressed with the food, or the portions also quite pricey for what it offers.
Looks cozy and nice, but not a place I would go back to.
K. P.
Nice quirky Spanish restaurant. The food was OK. The service was prompt and although busy for a Friday night, it wasn't overly crowded.
A. H.
Loved this bar.
Went for my friends hen do.
Amazing tapas, really reasonably priced.
Music and dancing in the evening was great.
A. A.
There is a great vibe here, and being slightly tucked away it wasn't overly busy either. As perfect for a leaving do as it is for some good tapas. I'll be back again soon!
C. D.
Good food, friendly staff but a bit chaotic. No Rose and couldn't buy red wine by the glass. But to be fair did say about to change all the menus and everything in flux.
S. W.
Great location! The broasted wings with lemon and piri piri sauce are the best wings I have ever had! Must try. Good wine selection.
R. A.
Okay tapas in London. The food was good, the building is pretty interesting, sangria was good.
A. F.
An amazing little venue. Authentic food . Amaxing staff who can't do enough for you. Price marked at less than one would expect for location so amaxing value for money.
J. T.
Went again for a friend's birthday. Great vibe and drinks. A place that makes you feel comfortable and want to come back time and time again! muchas gracias!
F. D. B.
Great bar with decent dining options that converts into bar with dj as the night progresses. Very good atmosphere and music (depends on taste, mostly latin beats)
J. W.
Tucked away down a flight of stairs. But once down the restaurant is very spacious and food is fantastic. Perfect for pre theatre meal.
R. P.
One of my favorite bars. Really big space with good drinks menu. Food here is really food too. Wait at bar can be a bit long though
F. L.
Really nice place for a different night if you go on the live music day. On all other days also good, food is very good and nice ambient
d. p.
Average. We had Tapas. Some.dishes could have done with a bit more seasoning.
R. S.
Excellent tapas with equally excellent reasonably priced wines and beers. Great music and a very pleasant smiling staff. Great evening.
a. h.
Good atmosphere. Music very European
H. P.
Delicious food and very attentive staff - Claudia was really helpful and catered to our food requirements really well. Def recommend!
F. P.
Lovely place, the food and service was very good. Very quiet for a Saturday night but overall very good experience.
A. H.
Great place for a group get together. Good tapas menu. Gets a bit loud when the music starts up later in the evening.
T. J.
Lovely ambiance and a good choice of food/drink.
K. F.
Reasonable prices, good atmosphere, fun music, food arrived quickly, but the whole experience was made by Mikeala who was so friendly, attentive and a great hostess 😊
M. F.
One of the best places in the area that serves a delicious variety of food items at reasonable prices and prompt service with the help of a very friendly and professional staff.
P. H.
Delicious small plates, fine Spanisch wine and great flamenco, at very reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended!
a. w.
Fantastic ambience and setting, and the food was lovely but the sangria we ordered had all the alcoholic bite of a wet dishcloth.
F. F.
Friendly staff, but food was on the cold side when served (cheesy sticks where firm again, king prawns flat out cold etc.). If served hot and incrementally it would have been much more enjoyable.
M. G. B.
Nice place. We were having some drinks at the happy hour, 2 cocktails 10£.
N. M.
Great atmosphere, good food, good value, friendly staff, good music. Makes a great night out. Hidden gem in the heart of London.
B. G.
A great atmosphere and fantastic service. Note that restaurant transitions to bar/club by 10/11pm.
B. C.
Atmosphere was great, food was great, waiters and waitresses were very helpful, not over priced, we are definitely going back!

F. L.
Attended and played a lovely DJ set for VAI BRASIL, amazing BRazilian monthly night, usually hosted at Jerusalem Bar & Kitchen
C. F.
Nice environment with good quality of food. However, the drink is fair and no mobile coverage. Impress by the stone cook steak
S. M.
Good selection of happy hour beers and cocktails available 5-7.. cocktails good.
D. W.
