Took the kids to the planetarium 18/12/21 and decided to get some food after. We came here after looking at restaurants in the area via google maps and saw it had very good ratings. So we came and had the £70 platter. It was delicious. Well seasoned tender meats served with rice, bread and dips. It just about fed 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 3) and they have big appetites like their parents. I'd highly recommend this place and will be back for more in the future. Cheers.

Wonderful authentic food! The restaurant is understandably packed because it's so popular. Best to make a reservation. Starters were incredibly generous portions, great for sharing. If you like Middle Eastern food and you're in the North Greenwich area, don't miss this place. The stuffed grape leaves are excellent and I'm very hard to please when it comes to grape leaves. Also what other reviewers have said about the lamb chops is true. Some of the best I've ever had. Service was excellent as well and prices are reasonable.

Nice variety of dishes available. Some dishes perfect for #keto like the princess chicken. Small inside slightly cramped but still has a nice atmosphere great for date night but also good for small groups, defo recommend booking if going on a Friday/Saturday evening. Fast service waited less than 20mins for our meals.

I really like the food here. It's fresh and tasty every time.Service is also perfect. I love that they give you free bread and sauces up front so you're not starving while you wait for your order. My only criticism is that its a little bit expensive for the location and style of restaurants (cafe style by a busy main road). If the price was a but lower then I'd probably go more often.

This is our favourite restaurant so far ! Whenever we have something to celebrate or we just want to go out, Sefa is on top of our list. Breads for starters was really good. Unfortunately it was accompanied by garlic and chilli which isn't my favourite. I much prefer hummus. Salad was served too for starters. The food is of highest class, wonder how a chef like that cooks in our local restaurant. Everything we got was a real surprise in taste and smell and texture, plating. Surprise, because I wouldn't believe chicken liver can be so soft yet retain all the flavour. Surprise, because the chilly sauce was fresh and awesome, then it kicks you hard oo. Surprise, because the lamb shish was at the same time well done, crispily seared AND also retained that medium-rare texture and softness. How??? These guys know some real ways to cook food, not your London-toned blanded cuisine, the GOOD stuff. Check them out, they are brilliant. Someone's gonna figure and either hire chef away, or boost the prices one day. Go eat there while it's affordable 👍

My favourite Turkish restaurant. The staff are super friendly and polite especially to our kids who get free lollipops every time we dine in. The free bread, salad and sauce they give you before your actual paid meal arrives taste amazingly fresh always, their family platter and grilled prawns never disappoints.

Consistent good Turkish food. Charcoal grilled kebabs, meats, fish are very good. We've been many times and the consistency is excellent. Very kid friendly. Our toddler loves it and the friendly staff all love kids. They provide warm flat bread with salad, olives, homemade chilli sauce (fiery!) and yogurt gratis. We usually don't have a starter as the portions are generous and the gratis breads and accessories leave us easily satisfied. The Turkish Buzbag wine is recommended too. The red is very nice, it also comes in white which we haven't tried yet. Overall, highly recommended. Our favourite restaurant in Greenwich.

Didn't know that Turkish food is THIS delicious, amazing service too. Visiting this place mainly for takeaway, at least once a month. It's always busy with full of happy diners and takeaway-ers like myself. You don't see those horrible rotating shawama here, they char-grill all fresh, with hard-working chefs cooking battling with smoke, you can see right front of the restaurant. My favourite is a whole grilled sea bream and lamb, which are served with rice, bread, salad & delish sauces. Service is impeccable, especially the manager (owner?), who is extremely friendly and kind. I always think of ordering lamb shank but when I see the sizzling meat & seafood over the grill, I always end up ordering the grilled dishes.

We visited Sefa for an evening meal with friends. It's a local Turkish restaurant and it's specialise in traditional Turkish food. It was very busy with locals - usually a good sign. We had a mixed shish with chicken and lamb. It was very tasty. It's located very close to Greenwich village. Just couple of stops by bus. We will be back soon.

The best lamb shish ever I normally don't eat lamb, as I am quite sensitive to the distinctive smell and taste of lamb. However, this is the only place where I specifically go to eat the lamb shish. Hi, always appears busy, especially with groups/families at weekends, and haven't been for a while so gave a try with two ex work colleagues on an early Sunday evening. Prices we thought were a bit on the high side for East Greenwich, which is still just off the main tourist routes, but the Turkish bread and dips were a welcome surprise addition. The mixed lamb/chicken kebabs enjoyed by 2, sizeable tasty meat, rice, but lacked a bit in spice and other interest on the plate (felt a bit too much like something you could whack up at home for a filling midweek meal) The 'Veggie' with us had a vegetarian Moussaka which she said was enjoyable. Coffees to follow, no desserts or drinks ordered -only tap water as we were looking for an inexpensive meal out, which came in pretty small glasses with no jug offered and the impression they would rather have sold you some alcohol or bottled water (pretty standard coffees wherever you go nowadays, didn't try the Turkish which i have before and enjoyed here) So, £16-£17 pp for a main course,bread/dips and coffee. TBH I have enjoyed meals more in central Greenwich for less. But if you are a meat and Turkish food lover you would probably enjoy it here. If you are a lover of spice (and keeping costs down), there are now two or three better alternatives both nearby and in central (tourist) Greenwich, IMHO. But this restaurant provides a necessary ingredient to local cuisine-we don't all enjoy exactly the same food, variety is the spice of life (in my case, maybe a little spicier!)
