Reviews of Souk
C. P.
We had a lovely and tasty dinner. We found this place on the taste card app and they treated us very kindly and fed us well. Their couscous is superb, comes with lots of tasty vegetables on top. Their tagines were very tasty and generous in portion too. I have deducted a star because I thought the hummus and raita were a little bland, but a tiny bit of seasoning would fix it! Falafels were very good though, as well as their cocktails! I want to mention that the atmosphere was very calm and we felt like at home. We will return!

We had this deal with groupon it was the best deal we had cuz the dish were very tasty and I really liked the starter and the fried ring with a lot of taste and a great texture. The houmous was good too! I didn’t had the time to take the desert in pic but it was cute with the tea !
S. S.
Loved the food, the restaurant was very cosy... Friendly family atmosphere.

We visited for an early dinner and they were able to accommodate us. The food was delicious and service was quick and friendly. It’s a small place, with a very Moroccan village decor, which was a nice touch. The portion sizes were appropriate but not proportional to the price as you would expect in London. All in all it was a good experience and we will visit again.

MAROCAN Restaurant in London!! Why not for a change
We searched on google Maps for a good rated Marocain restaurant and we choose to try Souk
The sitting inside was not comfortable and very hot and we should’ve stayed outside on the sidewalk
The Marocan couscous was very good and well seasoned but the semolina could be little better if they use the fine instead of the regular semolina
The Lamb Tagine very good and well prepared
The marocan green tea was ok but I’ve had better
Overall the place is good for Maghreb food
S. M. T.
The staff was helpful l. Food was nice. They have sheesha available outside but the price for sheesha was not the best.
M.
Very nice atmosphere! Traditional decor. The food was delicious but the cous cous was a bit blant. We got the set menu for four people but the starter could not be divided to 4. The server rectified the mistake as soon as he was made aware. The belly dancer was very sweet, she danced with my little girl. I would definitely recommend if you want to do something different in London!

Visited the restaurant with a large group for a birthday, the food was very good (specifically the lamb couscous). Our waitress Karina was so friendly and went above and beyond to provide us with the best service.
Y. I.
Great service, the waitress Karina made me a lovely shisha & food was spot on. The Moroccan mint tea topped it all off. Very affordable as well.
P. M.
Absolutely fantastic place. Manager was extremely welcoming, food & drinks were incredible (Make sure to try the Baklava) and Shisha was great. Will definitely be going back.
M. C.
I thought this place was lovely. Staff was very friendly and happy and the value for money is good too. The fixed menus cover everything you would want from a big dinner for a reasonable price, and it tastes good. Apparently they get exotic dancers in the weekends.
I went to Souk Medina during lunch on a Friday for the first time and felt compelled to write a review because the place is wonderful. The food is good, great mezze options, good drinks, prepared fresh and perfectly seasoned. You can tell the place has a real heart and is clearly independently run, I did like this place might pay another visit, they Also do shisha if that’s your thing. Overall atmosphere is really authentic and good.
T. B.
Went there on a busy Friday evening and everything went so well. Great food and shisha with quick and friendly service. Souk will definitely see me again
R. A.
Very nice authentic food! The owner provided very personalised service and was very thoughtful. Typical Moroccan ambience.

We had a birthday party of 20 people on Fri 26 November 2021. The food (tajeen) was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, they made sure that we had a party to remember. Excellent and authentic moroccan's atmosphere. It was one of the best nights I had. Definitely will go there again.
G. E.
Delicious food, great service, my partner felt like she was back in Morocco for a moment
Thank you, enjoyed it a lot!
Reasonably priced too, expect to spend 30pp approx.
We had the marrakesh feast, yummy.
Also, the portions are generous, got to pack some to take home to eat for lunch the next day!
S. C.
Friendly atmosphere. Amazing food in a very special setting - we chose to seat in a quiet area with low seats and table. Ordered to couscous Royal which was amazing and plenty of it!
K.
I made an order of Couscous Royale for 10-15 persons to get delivered for my Nikkah.
It was delicious, tasty and Samir was very helpful too.
Thank you again to you and the chef 🙏🏽
N. R.
Great food and service, very quick and accomodating

I have been to Souk a few times, and it is by far one of my favourite restaurants in London. This time round we went for my birthday and had a big group, we chose the feast menu. All the food was amazing, plentiful and delicious. The service was outstanding and they were accommodating of someone requiring gluten free. We all had a very great time at Souk and would definitely recommend a visit.

Oh, what a treat! Stumbled across this restaurant after a few drinks at The Cambridge on Shaftesbury Avenue, and voila: a little haven, or oasis of North Africa tucked away in the West End of London. From the decor to the customer service, the experience was a delight. The food delicious and a treat to the taste buds. The price was right too, a couple of cocktails, beer, starter and main meal came to just over £71.00. What a bargain. What a place. Excellent. Worth more than 5 stars!!
W. M.
The staff were amazing. Service was top notch. I loved how well seasoned and tasteful the food was. Nice shisha and atmosphere to top it all off. Portion sizes could do with a bit of an increase
E. F.
With an exquisite Arabian and Mediterranean furnishing, this restaurant sets itself apart with a more personal and homely setting and eating experience.
Wherever you seat, you feel a sense of privacy, The lighting ambience further enhances the perception.
And the food? It’s got everything you can expect from Arabian/Mediterranean influenced culinary. Tastes amazing and the price is not beyond the expected... for the location.
Is there a time when smiling is too much to point of bother? I almost felt that way at some point... but eh! It could just be me.
Undoubtedly friendly and helpful staff... Souk is definitely worth visiting again.
N.
Great atmosphere. Decorations on point. The kind of place you go to chill with friends, evening or lunch, either is fantastic spot! There's quite a lot on the menu, but they're simple and easy to understand. Price is also good.
k. m.
Went with my partner, we both loved it great shisha, waitress was lovely and very attentive, cocktails were tasty too.
O. O.
Great food and awesome service! The staff go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and the chef is A1. He even threw in some extras to our order and my gosh! It was delicious.
Can’t wait to revisit once we’re allowed to smoke shisha outdoors again
I. G.
Great decor and really nice food will definitely be visiting again would highly recommend
D. M.
Second visit here and, once again, did not disappoint. Really good, honest, tasty, food served quickly and complimented by a quirky and authentic looking decor. Great food, attentive staff, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
K. M. U.
What a lovely place with authentic morrocan food! It was our first time visiting here, the staff were accommodating and the food was great. Definately worth our visit!
S. H.
Rang ahead of book and confirm we could use Dinecard, food was ok but a little bland however this was our first time for morrocan food, we would try again,
Q. N.
Great atmosphere, amazing food with generous portions and they refill! Its hard to get good value for money these days as everything is more expensive but this place is still wildly perfect at that. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive but not so much that it's annoying. They get the balance just right. Always have a wonderful experience coming here. Shame the food pics came out blurry!
S. L.
Stumbled upon this place while visiting Neal's yard as it's very inviting. They gave us a table on Saturday night without a reservation and have nice smelling shisha although we didn't smoke. Our table was near the toilets and staff computers so we had a lot of people bumping into our table but the atmosphere was nice staff were accommodating. I would avoid ordering the calamari as it took forever to be served and was basically just frozen rings looked like onion rings. The rest of the food was really good including the bottle of white wine, we didn't get the mint tea as they charge not by the pot but by the number of glasses you need?? Wished we stayed late enough to enjoy the belly dancers, would go back if in the area!
T. T.
Very friendly and warm staff, great food, and very authentic feel inside. Unique place and doesn’t at all feel like being in London. Would recommend sitting downstairs, felt like we could have been in a restaurant in Marrakesh
M. S.
Sadly it is just ok.. location is great and the place has a nice ambient. However, with temperatures above 30°C outside it was even worse inside.. when we asked if they can switch the aircon unit on we just heard some mumbling about a manager. So unbearably hot.. starters were nice, lovely pita bread and hummus. Mains though were disappointing.. lamb was very dry and chicken lacked taste.. and be prepare to be charged for service which sadly isn't great (apart from one waiter who just went beyond to pack some leftovers). I usually prefer to tip myself, instead about 20% was added to our bill.. not making us more keen to come back.. this is disappointing as I was hoping it can be a place to come back as I love Moroccan cuisine... :(
C. S.
On first sight, Souk Medina looks like a small shop front just off Seven Dials; however, once inside it opens up to reveal a beautiful Moroccan interior that snakes its way back from the street and opens up into a large dining space. The food is plentiful and at a fantastic price, particularly for central London. I recommend the feast menu as you get a lot of bang for your buck. The staff at Souk Medina couldn’t be more helpful, and it made our experience even better. If you’re looking for a hidden gem that’s a little different, then I highly recommend a visit.
I. A.
Saturday night meal in what is a cosy place with a good touch of morroco. The seating however is a little worn out. Overall the decor is quite pleasant.
The service was horrible but had the cheek to add service charge. No attention given and always a struggle to request anything as never around.
This place allows indoor smoking of shisha along with the food so not suitable for children and anyone with breathing issues.
The prices was quite high for what was served but expected due to location.
The king prawn starter was a triumph. Loved it. But the portions vs price was very small. The humous was lovely with the soft pitta bread.
The main course was presented like it was just slapped on a plate. Lamb steak with rice and chicken skewers with rice. It was ok... I wouldn't buy it again tho.
I wouldn't come here again for a full on meal. Maybe drop in for some starters if I was passing by.
Unfortunately what stuck in my mind was the terrible service we received for the kind of price we paid. Awful.
V. S.
Lovely place with great atmosphere. Food is quite good too. Would definitely recommend lamb shank with dried fruits. Order it with pitta bread and small dishes like tabbouleh with falafels. Tastecard friendly. Good for big groups.
G. G.
Had a delicious lamb tagine before going to watch Les Miserables. Lovely food and great friendly service . Thank you 😊
S. T.
Wonderful experience. It’s the only place that serve Moroccan beer in LDN. The waitress Karina was so kind and explain us the menu and drive us to Marrakech in a bit. Merguez and Cous Cous is must to have. Such a nice experience: worm, exotic; even in a gloomy day in London.
A. R.
Nice Moroccan restaurant..Tagine was filling and tasty..comes with warm pitta and either rice or couscous. Staff are friendly and accomodating.
M. T.
Best shisha place in London! nice range of flavours (bubblegum is good).
great, friendly staff and amazing food.
Would 100% recommend!
N. O.
Staff really nice. It's a cute shisha spot to chill plus its a nice quiet area away from the crowds by Leicester Sq Station.
Would recommend
J. Y.
Food was good. They offer outdoor hookah only.
N.
Great for group bookings or small romantic dinners. You will feel as if you've been transported to Morrocco, the ambience, food and entertainment will put a smile on your face.
I. B.
Wonderful authentic food, place is nice but it could do with more cleaning/tidying up.
G. G.
Amazing staff, great food and shisha. I come around once a week and the staff make an effort to remember you! Such a nice vibe
A. B.
Really good atmosphere and amazing food, the lamb tagine with prunes and dried apricots was so so good the meet melts in the mouth and fab cocktails too 👌Shisha was awesome it will deffo be a place I return to 👍
R. B.
Incredible flavor in the tagines (and honestly everything, even the rice). The waitstaff were amazing and so kind! Definitely don't miss this spot if you're in the area and remotely interested in any sort of Mediterranean food.
H. H.
Kind of hidden around the corner from The Ivy. Lovely food, generous portions. Had set menu with gourmet society card. Amazing value. Really lovely staff
J. D.
Great food and service and good prices for London always worth a visit.
A. P.
We’ve been there in a quiet night and there was no need to book a table in advance. The place is great for who’s vegan or vegetarian because there are many tasty plant based meals 🌱. We also tried the local beer and it was ok. Service was friendly and helpful, however took a long time to bring the dessert and the bill.
I. J.
Stunning place, v friendly staff, delicious good, great sitting are a for a big group of us, lovely service. Would highly recommend
F. D.
Ordered a falafel wrap. Arrived with unsalted chips I didn't order and no humous either, so quite dry. Pricey for what it was too.
L. S.
Everything was smooth and pleasant from making reservation for 8 people to arriving and enjoying our day. We were greeted and served by friendly and smiling staff. The food was very nice and priced very reasonably. We celebrated a 21st birthday and the manager very kindly allowed us to bring our own cake which they served for us. Thank you very much to Samir and staff for a nice experience.
f. b.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. They were understandably busy. Would definitely go again.
D. C.
Looking for a great meal? Souk no further!
Such lovely tastes with a home cooked feeling. The service is friendly and quick. Had a great evening and I’ll be back soon! Highly recommend.
N. B.
I had a great time at this restaurant. The customer service was amazing and the staff were very friendly and receptive. However, we found that the flavour of the shisha wasn't as strong as we had hoped. The drinks were great though.
A. C.
Best couscous in town ! Very nice staff. Absolutely all dish were delicious from starters to dessert.
M.
Overall good traditional place to visit and enjoy cup of tea but meals are not "wow" just alright.
Service is also okay. Prices are expensive, not suitable for the menu's food and drink though.
R. F.
Beautiful place and gorgeous food. I read reviews online and I'm glad they were true! Made all the better by such friendly staff. The food was quick and so delicious. We had the Marrakesh Feast menu and shared between two. It was perfect. We also need ate downstairs in a cute little alcove away from other tables - so cosy! The place has amazing decor (think Moroccan market) and colours. We didn't try the Shisha upstairs - but it's there and very popular. Will definitely be back!
A. S.
Food is nice. Can be quite small if you are in a big group. Cocktails are on happy hour until 7pm weekdays.
S.
I LOVE the vibe, and decor. Doesn’t feel like central London when you are in there. Great food and wine; a nice place to chill out with friends. They also have E Shisha for £25.
S. b. (.
The food was delicious but the best thing is the tea
A. A.
Excellent food! First time had a tagine, so was a bit apprehensive but absolutely blown away, great environment too
C. O.
Positive food was really tasty and certainly the highlight. Just felt run down, bit cramped and they made a mistake on our prepayment for food which resulted in us having the wrong menu. Shame.
e. b.
Amazing food and service
We went here as a group of 14 for a hen do and had the most amazing time. The service from our waiter Zaki was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. He was so efficient and competent. He made the evening even more special for us all. The decor and food and all the other staff were all perfect. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We had a private room and it felt very authentic. We had a the banquet meal and it was all delicious, again very authentic. Couldn’t fault anything or any part of our evening spent here. Thank you xxx
R. M.
Service was fast and accommodating. Shisha was wonderful and well tended to. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice place to smoke and relax.
E. D.
I've been there twice and the food is delicious, the staff member are really nice too. Will definitely come back and advice this place to anyone!
B.
Amazing customer service 10/10, they were incredibly hospitable but the shisha flavouring wasn’t as strong and I couldn’t taste the flavour I chose for the shisha.
L. Y.
Great service and very attentive staff, especially from Karina who kept coming round to check on the shisha and if we needed anything else.
E. F.
Yummy excellent food, service n surroundings also excellent
G. B.
My wife and I had a lovely meal at Souk. We had Houmous as a starter followed by couscous Royale which was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and polite. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
A.
Very nice staff. The food is good and it looks like you are in Morroco! Had a great time!
K. C. (.
Beautiful setting and wonderful food. We enjoyed the set menu and cocktails. Will be visiting again!
M. H. T.
I always love to have dinner here with my friends, the food is delicious and the staff always friendly. I suggest their drinks too.
D. E.
Best morrocan restaurant in London we loved it , food was great and service too. Had the beautiful lamb tagine with apricots , and harira soup is the best soup you'll have in london :) Anna the waitress also made the experience so lovely. Thank you we will come back very soon!

I hadn't been to Souk for many years but immediately was made to feel completely welcome by both the man and woman who waited on our table. The decor is simple but colourful, making it easy to relax. The lighting could have been lower and music a little softer though I liked it. I agree with Davina in that I had remembered it as a bit more upmarket – which it isn't – but the atmosphere is very pleasant.
The staff could not have been more courteous, helpful or polite, including letting me try a wine before choosing. We had halloumi, baked sea bass and the baklava. It was nothing fancy but tasty, wholesome food – comforting after a long working week.
Kenza, who served us throughout the evening, was very efficient and utterly charming in both her service and conversation with us (we got chatting just before we left).
A. S.
Perfect little Moroccan place in the West End.
I. H.
Great atmosphere and look of this restaurant. Food is great and very tasty. So much so I got married and had my reception there. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Loved it.
A. S. H.
The atmosphere and interior design were on point, the food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back there when I'm back in town.
Y. S.
Nice lady yasmin but the food is OK not bad not great
C. O.
The food its really good and tasty, i recommends the tagine and a Moroccan mint tea
T. B.
Lovely people. Food was really good: environment was perfect given COVID ... : eating areas are nicely segregated. Really enjoyable.
A. H.
Carlos was an incredible server and the environment was super warm and friendly, great for a night out
P. H.
Delicious tagine, couscous, brochette, seafood. Reasonable prices for central London.
A. S.
Tardis like in that it opens out into a reasonable size with basement, ground floor and mezzanine seating areas. Our food was good, lamb shank tagine especially so.
N. R.
Great Moroccan food, friendly service and the feast options are excellent value
L. L.
Very unusual and interesting resturant lots of soft furnishings ,coloured light, morrocan in spired ,cosy lighting and little corners and different tables. Very good food quality over quantity.
A. F.
What a great place! Being there with a company of other 5 girls. The atmosphere was authentic, warm and hostess super friendly and helpful with food recommendations. Portions are generous so we had true "Moroccan table sharing". Food is amazing! We have ordered lamb, chicken and fish, and all of it was superb. Some of the sauces are on a spicy end, so if you are sensitive just ask your waiter. Would definitely come back and will recommend to anyone looking for Marrakesh touch.
H. M.
Super delicious food! Friendly people and very relaxing atmosphere.
r. b.
it is a lovely place that have lovely and tasty food. the reason I gave 4 stars is that because it's not defined as a 100% Moroccan restaurant in my point of view, the owners could do more of having a greater 100% Moroccan food menu and not Lebanese, Moroccan food is full of many beautiful dishes either salads or starters, dessert was a failure, I believe Moroccan suits should be on the menu not Baklava because that's not Moroccan. The experience is amazing, but just need more of it in the food.
a. j.
Booked for 5 guys with Tastecard on Fri, the service was brilliant, waiting staff a credit and food delicious. 241 cocktails were a bonus.Thank you Souk we will be back.
A. S.
Used to love this place. However lately it seems that the menu quantity and quality has gone down, and the prices have gone up. It's a shame as it is a very unique place with an incredible atmosphere, and the staff is always polite and helpful.
A. H.
Super cool experience. We were very well treated and had the best time ever
N. T.
An amazing Family setup, very friendly staff and one of the most delicious food we had in a long time! It’s that kind of food that you will find yourself finishing your partner’s plate!! Staff are very kid’s friendly trained too! Will be coming back very soon!
D.
It used to be very special place in the past. The staff remain great but the menu has been reduced and the restaurant is half its size. The only main for vegetarians is the vegetarian tagine. The only desert options are Baklava and Turkish Delight. It just feels overpriced.
D. L.
North African dishes served in a Moroccan souk-like rooms with hand-painted tiles, colourful lanterns, shisha hookahs and exotic fabrics. Delicious food. Friendly service.
C. R.
Very friendly staff and the decor is really cool. Came here with my mum and sister before a theatre show. Lots of nice vegetarian options for my sister. Used at taste card which meant we had to order of a limited menu but aside from that was very easy. Food was good but not amazing.
R. O.
Really cool place given its very authentic Moroccan decoration. The fact that it's closed (no windows/sights of the exterior) makes it feel even more real. Food and service very good. Not giving five stars only because the back entrance was not kept clean.
C. W.
Such a lovely restaurant! Great service the staff couldn't do more for us without being overbearing! Amazing food and veggie options! Quite pricey but good value for money considering the area! Would recommend for families or couples. Great decor and the insense burning really added to the atmosphere!
N. M.
Excellent! This place had great food, wonderful service, and an amazing atmosphere! They were able to accommodate our large group without any issues. We will definitely be back!
A.
Lovely restaurant with such a unique interior design and atmosphere. The dishes are well executed and the service is fast and friendly. My only complaint is the lack of lighting. I understand it is for the ambiance however I would also prefer to be able to see my food
J. C.
AMAZING VIBE, FRIENDLY STAFF, HEALTHY SHISHA. If they were trying to pull of a middle Eastern concept, this place nailed it. Will be inviting my friends back here next week.
A. S.
Third time I've been here. Staff are always friendly and helpful but not too in your face. Generous portions. They were very accommodating of my fussy eating habits which is always appreciated. Lovely ambiance & music. Only downside is the seating is very crowded (fortunately I'm short so I don't need a lot of leg room)!
C. A.
No idea why this place hasn't got a higher rating. We had the set menu and the food was authentic and beautifully cooked. The portions were super generous and they offered to give us refills! And at £20 per head for drinks , three courses and including tip (with gourmet society card or taste card)...that's incredibly inexpensive. And the service was very friendly and professional. Loved it
S. I. D. L. C.
Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, generous portions. Share dishes if you're not too hungry.
L. B.
I love this place so much. Staff is very friendly and happy and the value for money is amazing. The fixed menus cover everything you would want from a big dinner for a really reasonable price, and it tastes really really good. Also they get exotic dancers in the weekends to do a little show.
M. M.
The food was well prepared and very favorable. The location was very relaxed. Service was slow.
Each menu we had was very good.
We made reservations for sister restaurants. Owner sent email changing location to this location. (about 2 minute) away. Unfortunately I didn't realize. We were late due to traffic I had called but we were very late. It was nice that they were willing seat us despite being late.
M. A.
Amazing Moroccan food and decor. Despite being very busy on a Saturday night and the fact that we did not have a reservation, they accomodated us well. The service was indeed 5 stars along with everything else. I recommend making reservations in advance on a weekend.

amazing food was delicious and server's were very kind a warm cozy environment would recomend
A. W.
Delicious selection of food in cosy atmospheric surroundings. Highly recommended.
G. E.
Souk is fantastic! Not only is the food excellent, but the ambience is very evocative of North Africa. I'd especially recommend the mixed grill. Plus they have belly dancing!!
T. K.
Average food, but good for a chill and a bit of seesha if you like that sort of vibe.
R. B.
Staff were friendly and attended to me when I was waiting for my friend. I asked to move cos it was cold and they did. The food doesn’t look like it’s much, but three courses later you will be full! The starter platters was really good, the sea bass could’ve had more flavour and mixed grill was nice. The belly dancer was the highlight of the evening! And they added service charge which I paid as they were really nice but abit cheeky that they did this on full price even though I paid a groupon deal price.
S. A.
Just had cocktails and I loved them! Loved the place too
J. W.
Delish. The set menu is a total feast. All delicious and filling. Totally recommended!
L. I.
The staff is very friendly and always eager to help.
I ate at this place few times and the food is very tasty! Thank you Chief! The meniu could be more clear.
They have nice options of drinks + eager to improvise.
Marika and Mak are doing great job every time I visit.
This place good for short bite and also for a proper meal.
The restaurant has a lot of space so you can book a reservation for your birthday or other event.
The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Keep it that way!
B. V.
This is my second visit to Souk Medina. Its a great authentic Moroccan experience. The decor transports you. The food and setting work well for large groups. We were 8 and the service went smoothly on a busy Saturday night. A wide ranging drinks menu including cocktails. They are on Groupon deals which if you are on a tight budget could be useful.
S. E.
Very tasty food and great service. Will definitely return
P. A.
One of my favourites in London! Great deals with a Taste Card. The family style menu is the way to go - multiple courses served for the table. Gorgeous chicken and lamb and the fluffiest couscous I've ever had. Go with a group and stay awhile.
A. J.
A party of 4 of us went to this restaurant last Saturday for my sister's birthday. We had a fab night ! Great food , and atmosphere, loved the authentic decor. The staff were so friendly , and we loved the belly dancer who got my sister up to dance . There were several other people celebrating their birthday and we sang happy birthday to all . We were so pleased that they accepted tastecard on a Saturday night , will be back here for my daughters birthday as she loved it !
A. N. D.
This place has such a cozy atmosphere while providing a ton of seating. The decor felt authentic and made us feel transported to Morocco with many Moroccan lamps and rugs scattered around. We ordered too much food and it was all delicious. Highly recommend visiting this place! Easily the best food in Neal's Yard.

I ate at Souk Medina last night with friends and had a great time. The restaurant is a great space and feels like you are not in London at all when you are inside - totally magical! We ordered a set menu for the 4 of us to share and the food was delicious, and so much of it! We were taken great care of by the staff too - great service. I will definitely recommend and come back!

I like the decor and the atmosphere, all feels rather authentic. The staff are pleasant yet rather busy, however never missed an order. I've been in this restaurant 4 times already but usually on weekdays evening so cannot tell how busy it gets at weekends. The food is excellent and generous. Would definitely recommend it!

Delicious food, best couscous, perfect desserts.
M. S.
Very warm and welcoming environment, uniquely authentic with a genuinely Moroccan type of vibe. The price was reasonable for the location and even better with Meerkat Meals. Would definitely recommend to a friend, a meal as well as a mini experience.
S. H.
First thing to notice is the ambience - which absolutely feels like Aladdins cave, with dark smoky throw cushions as well as a fresh courtyard with some palm fronds.
Food was also terrific. I had the rice and skewers and was very happy.
Finally, the manager was a fascinating man: explained to us how to earn enough to buy a Porsche and his property experience was apparent. I came for the grill but left with the Wisdom.
Overall, very satisfied and I hope he reaps lots of success in the future.
J. H.
Gorgeous place, great atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff. Looked after my food intolerances better than anywhere else I've ever been. Had calamari and sea bass - both delicious, as was the espresso martini. Would highly recommend a visit.
E. A.
First time to experience morrocan vibe and dish. Nice atmosphere and tasty food. Great service.
J. F.
This place is decent. The atmosphere is very cosy with low light tapestries around. I had the royal feast set menu. This included bread, houmous and stuffed vine leaves for starter. Different meat skewers and rice for main. Followed by Turkish delight and baklava. All of the food was tasty and filling. Staff were polite and attentive. Overall a strong 3 star.
A. R. Y. K.
Food was nice, staff was friendly but something was missing. I think food was bit over cooked but overall experience was good
B. K.
Nice place to have a real Moroccan mint tea and smoking Shisa ..I really enjoyed
A. H.
Always lovely. Stunning atmosphere and great food.
Y. B.
I promise we going to be the best souk bazar in London
B. L.
We had the deal from Groupon which meant we could only order from the set menu. The sea bass was average, mint tea was very weak and we were kicked off our table before completely finishing our food. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend.
C. M.
Atmospheric, laid back, feels like you could be in Morocco! Food was first class. Staff very friendly, attentive, but not overpowering. Also very helpful. Will certainly be coming back. Good value for central London. Thanks for a lovely meal.
M. B.
I love this restaurant, I go every time my family or friends come to see me and it's like I'm taking them to a magic hidden location in the middle of central London. The decor is incredible, the food SO nice, and the staff is very accomodating and nice. Really, go if you can, it's so worth it.
A. G.
Very nice and amazing ambience. Food is very tasty.
M. D.
Great restaurant with awesome cous cous and great atmosphere. They have an entrance room for coffee/shisha with comfortable couches and two floors of dining room. We tried their mezze and chicken cous cous what was super flavorful. Portions are huge and it is a good value for the money. Staff very friendly and they have belly dancers on Sat night. Recommended.
H. H.
It is a fun experience eating there. The restaurant feels very cosy and food is good. The menu offers a lot of different options and all the dishes I have tried there so far were really good. It also offers very good value for your money, especially in this area. Can recommend it.
M. B.
It was a nice place, nice ambiance and tasty food. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because when we ordered a set menu we were not asked wether we wanted lamb or chicken tajine, they just brought us one of each even though we all wanted lamb we weren't given the chance to say it. Another thing, we had to leave after 1:30hours as it was booked by another party. We were offered place in the tea room though.
A. L.
Had an awesome Christmas party here with work. A party of 20+ and they did exceptionally well to cater to us and offer us an amazing lunch to remember! Would totally recommend as a great place for large parties in the daytime. Last time I checked they are also included as part of the taste card discounts! Great morrocan food and lovely interior yum!
P. M.
Great service, great location, great decor, and the loveliest staff!
D. C.
It's a great place to eat. The food is good and it's really good value for money. The venue is very authentic. On a saturday if you're lucky you get a performance from a belly dancer. I was brave enough to get up and dance 😂
I. M.
Excellent location, good food. Menus had more variety when I first started going there 15+yrs ago.
Reasonable prices, on average I usually spend £20-30 pp.
Great atmosphere, tucked away in Covent Garden. You can easily miss it.
They have a belly dancer in the evenings, not sure what times.
Have a private room that you need to reserve, great for bigger groups.
I prefer Levant in Wigmore Street, however it is a lot more expensive (easily double the price).
l. m.
We had a meal here thought to try some different Cusine on my birthday and glad we did. Service was prompt, food was lovely and fresh very tasty well cooked.
M. F.
I would like to start by saying that the waitress was extremely gracious and looked after us well, what good woman she really knows how to make people feel welcome. The mixed starters was very good and tasty really enjoyed and there was plenty to go around . The main dish was served in good time and together nobody was left waiting. As being a lover of Moroccan food I found the food to be authentic, delicious, a real treat. The meal was finished with traditional Mint Tea and baklava to die for. The restaurant itself was cozy and unimposing. Thank you for a wonderful evening, I would highly recommend giving this little gem a try. Thanks to the owner Mr. Samir very pleasant man! Hope your business keep doing well you guys deserve it! Thanks to make my Valentine's night unforgettable, my girlfriend was so happy that at home she rewarded me with nice surprises! :-)
z. k.
Been there twice , first time it seemed like it was the bar man who served us and there seemed to be a communication barrier which was a little frustration
We decided to try again and was served by Kenza, she was polite , courteous and professional and very helpful! Me and my partner were very impressed by her service as she was by far one of the best waitresses we had come across. Well done for great service !
C. H.
Lovely kind staff and beautiful food. I will most certainly come back next time I'm in London.
C. M.
Great decor, and the 'feast' meals are great value. While it won't set you alight, I've been here quite a few times and have never had anything to complain about in the slightest! The staff are always great and there's always more food than we can possibly contemplate finishing. Great for a catch up dinner with old friends or family.
S. H.
The food was simply amazing. Tasty and plenty of it. We had chicken tagine, moussaka and some halloumi and I could have eaten it all again. The waiters were extremely attentive and the food was delivered promptly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return .
t. s.
Had the set menu was very good but probably a little pricey. The waiter was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The service charge is added to the bill. Although it doesnt look big from the outside there is plenty of tables inside! Would return.
G. B.
Amazing food and authentic ambiance. Great for evening meals or lovely to just pop in for mint tea and baklava. Friendly attentive staff. Toilets seem a bit shabby but are clean.
S. B.
This was the second time I've been here.
First time was for a Christmas party s couple of years ago. Food and entertainment were good.
I went with some friends the second time. For was good, belly dancer was okay.
But the main reason to go here is the food and the friends your with. Really enjoyed the food.
A. M.
It has a very authentic feeling, you feel like you were beamed up to the middle East, no doubt about that! It is very lovely and chaotic, lots of little rooms and areas. It is a bit dark, but it is part of the atmosphere. The food is good but some of the plates might be a tad heavy, so be prepared. Lots of attractions, likt pouring the tea or the occasional belly dancer. The service was some times slow, but give the layout of the place, if can be forgiven. Moderate value/money.
K. C.
Awesome ambience , good food and great service
N. G.
Authentic food and atmosphere. Very kind and respectful staff. Really well priced. I would return!
K. R.
Nice food, big portions, friendly staff. A bit expensive though
K. C.
Attended friend's birthday party here. We had top floor to ourselves, while extras dined downstairs.
Staff were friendly, fun. Food is delicious and not too expensive. Belly-dancers are awesome to watch.
Free shisha too!
n. g.
Visited before seeing Matilda at the Theatre. Brought a taste card which gave us 2 for 1 on the main meal. There was a deal on, 3 drinks for 2 so we had a beer, g&t and mojito, all of which were really nice. Food was great also and lots of it. Service was fast and attentive. Would definitely reccommend.
R. E.
Amazing place! The interior reminded me of being in Morocco again..the food was delicious exactly how they cook food in Morocco. The staff aswell are so polite and helpful. It was a great night with drinks, music, sheesha, and belly dancing. I defiantly would recomend this place to anyone.
H. H.
Fantastic restaurant! Celebrated my 30th birthday and had an amazing time. Food was wonderful, customer service was excellent and more importantly the restaurant's decor and location makes it a star restaurant. Must go Londoner and visitors!
D. D.
I tried the Lamb tagine and it was amazing but what I loved the most about this place was the great service. There was a lovely lady (Marika) checking on me the whole time and giving spectacular service. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good atmosphere, good food and good service! Definitely coming again!
A. K.
A real treat in terms of decor and interior design. Quite spacy with lots of low tables and pillow sits. Very cosy and atmospheric. Very friendly staff. Food can be a bit bland depending on individual tastes but they do one mean Moroccan mint tea. Definitely would recommend visiting.
T. K.
I'm not a big fan of this type of food but I certainly enjoyed it. Meats were especially tasty and succulents. And I had a cocktail too! Highlight of the evening was the belly dancer! Mmm, dem hips... 😅
B. E.
Delicious food, big dishes and nice staff. Very good value with the tastecard. We will be back!
R. C.
Great and generous servings of food! Very delicious. Paid with taste card so also great price!
Interior a big grubby, shame.
S. h.
Wondering around for something small to eat before the theatre. We went down a small street and followed it around and found this Gem! Would absolutely recommend in a heart beat. Had happy hour for cocktails, which were perfect. Small dishes. At lunch we can select a few small dishes at a deal, for dinner we got just some starters. Hummous, goats cheese pastry and halloumi. Generous portion of bread. Fast service. We were given treats as we left of pastries and Turkish delights. You can also smoke shisha here. Do go and check it out!!
l. s.
We had groupon lunch voucher .it was ok .
c. c.
Love this place.
Lovely food, atmospheric, authentic, polite service and reasonable price.
Will certainly revisit.
j. a.
Such a nice and sweet atmosphere, the staff were very warm and friendly and our waitress was very patient and accomodating. Lovley place to come and feel like you are away from the city.
We had the Royal Feast and boy was it deliciouse and tick all the boxes.
Will very much recomend.
L. V.
The food, the decor and the light entertainment all contributed to a wonderful evening. Portions were huge, service was efficient and attentive and the whole place had a great vibe. Perhaps not recommended for dates as the lack of light leads to awkward torch fumbling to read the menu and the belly dancer's enthusiasm may create some difficult tension, but for all other fun family events I'd highly recommend it.
G. A.
Great food, thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
M. S.
Third visit excellent food, decor service. Very friendly
N. J.
Really don't know why this place is not rated higher. We've been here twice and will definitely go back again. Fantastic vegetarian options, great taste. We had the tagine, and some starters, and enjoyed. The spicy chilli was really good, we could also add more to our taste, which was good. Very friendly service. Highly recommend.
A. S.
Great service went for shisha got what we expected the owner was friendly and couldn’t do enough .
J. S.
Quite a lovely interior that I imagine on a busy night could make the place very ambient. And it's worth noting we did not try the food. Overall, I could see how you could have a good night here
The reason for the poor rating is based on the Shisha/Hooka. It is not real, sadly. It's electronic large vape pipes and is really a shadow of the real thing. Very much a let down and what's more it cost £30.
P. Y.
Great food, brilliant service thanks for the birthday surprise
U. M.
Nice place with lovely people. The food is really good, and the portions are huge. They also have vegetarian, vegan, and celiac options. I like it so much.
T. M.
This is an authentic North African bar/restaurant. As soon as you step inside it's like being transported to Morocco/Tunisia etc. This is great to visit if you've had a busy weekend walking around London. With the dim lights and decor I find this place really relaxing. I recommend the mint tea. Haven't eaten here yet but plan to soon.
O. H.
The staff are really friendly and accommodating but the food isn't as good as it used to be (the lamb was very dry) and it's quite expensive for what it is. Fingers crossed they manage to improve things because this used to be a great place!
K. D.
The atmosphere was pleasant but the food and staff were terrible. I had to call a waitress over after waiting 30 mins for our order to be taken, no water at the table despite asking, no houmous (unreal for a Moroccan restaurant to say they do not have houmous on a Saturday night!) and the vegetable tagine and cous cous was so bland and salty. The staff did compensate me at the end by saying I didn't need to pay for my main and gave us a bottle of wine which is why I have rated this 3 stars. Souk Medina really need to improve staff attentiveness to customers and improve on the food.
C. C.
The best place for decor ever. I felt like I was in Morocco. Food nice but chicken kebabs a bit dry. Laid back friendly service
R. S.
This place is amazingly decorated. Feels like you're in a market in Morocco. The food is good, the meze platter isn't the best though. They take bookings but they may limit how long you can stay at the table on a busy night.
A. S.
Absolute rate is of a place. A tiny entrance opens out into 3 floors with interesting nooks and spaces. A good selection on the menu. I had chicken with couscous, very nice.
I. K.
an awesome experience, our server, Kenza, excellent service always smiling had a good rapport with my kids. Did excellent. Been here a number of times over 9 years, consistently good food and service. Thank you Kenza.
M. G.
Love this place so much, it's always been oje of my favourite restaurants in London. Good food, great location and very accurate set up. Must have is the lamb tagine with apricots, plums and almonds. Nice humous and yoghurt sauce with mint. The service is not the fastest sometimes but the atmosphere is worth the waiting.
S. 0.
My second visit this month, decoration is beautiful inside give you the Moroccan style vibe. Food is very delicious especially the chicken tagine and cous cous rice.
They also do E-shisha which was very pleasant.
M. G.
I've been to Souk Medina a few times. It's a little variable in terms of the quality of the food, but it's always been good. Sometimes there's a belly dance or two which might catch you off guard, but other than that, it's a great restaurant and very reasonably priced.
D. P.
I really enjoyed this place, maybe more so than most of the other reviews. I went here as part of a Christmas party, the mint tea and the food were amazing.
The #1 reason I have reviewed it as a 5, is the set menu, whichever one you order, you will get an endless supply of the foods, so I had an endless supply of lamb, once I ate it, I was given a new one. This was coupled with the fact, they take Tastecard so I had amazing food, ever lasting at half price.
Plus Covent Garden is a lovely area to walk around before and after.
R. M.
Absolutely loved our meal here. Food was very tasty and authentic. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Can't wait to go again.
M. A.
I love this place! They really know their food, and wine! Order anything on the menu and be delighted. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is very helpful.
J. D.
So delicious!! The mint tea is excellent. Occasionally they also have belly dancers which was a fun surprise. The food is full of flavor and they have options for vegetarians as well. I also enjoy how cozy and beautiful the restaurant is.
T. G.
Most amazing restaurant! Delicious food, democratic prices and topservice!
M.
Food and service nice; price reasonable
L. B.
So so soooooo cold in the restaurant. Food was ok-good, the fish wasn’t fresh and the prawns were dry. Rest was lovely and our waiter was great.
G.
Food was good. Seafood tagine was nice. Waiters were a tad on the "not in a hurry" side! Didn't really ruin the evening as we were there to spend some time enjoying good company with good food but, if you want to be in and out within an hour I'd think twice before entering.
D. P.
Lovely Moroccan-style restaurant. Food was good, but the service lacked finesse, but I was unconcerned about it. The waiter was pleasant and accommodating.
J. M.
Came here for a Hen night with 15+ ladies. The staff were really helpful with the large group and accommodated us in a great private area. The food was great and we were not disappointed. The only criticism would be the dim lighting but otherwise no complaints!
E.
Best food I’ve had in London! Highly recommend!!!! Delicious fish, Lamb, chicken with raisins Tagine !!!!
S. S.
Yet another below average Moroccan restaurant in terms of food and service. Nothing to write home about. Shame since the decor and atmosphere is so promising. When I was there they had shisha but I don't know if that is still allowed indoors. Baklava for dessert. Wow how exciting. A prime example of style over substance.
H. G. E.
What a find. We don't go to London very often but came across this restaurant by chance and ,WOW. A set meal for two ( only because we had not tried Moroccan cuisine before ) and a bottle of wine for£ 71.30 . We will come back whenever we decided to be in London again.
K. B.
I recently visited this restaurant with a group for my friend's birthday. The food was lovely, and I liked the way they organised a set menu for large groups, which avoided a lot of phaff with the menu and bill. The staff were friendly but a bit slow. They put all remaining food in a doggy bag for us, which was great. In general, this is a very lovely place to spend the evening. Don't get your hopes up about the shisha though; it's electronic.
T.
The design and seating was excellent, and the mint tea was delicious. However, no one in my group was able to order their first choice dish, due to the menu not specifying that certain dishes weren't available, and having run out of fish.
K. N.
The best place to have Moroccan food in London. Very chill ambience and great service.
Definitely coming back there again!
A. S.
Amazing place with a great atmosphere. Walking into here feels like walking into an authentic cave - everything is dingy and colourful. The staff is friendly (once you break the ice), and they serve some authentic delicacies. Do ask for the mint tea - watching them pour it for you is a delight by itself.
K. N.
Very authentic looking, service very slow. Food was ok but not enough to justify the Groupon voucher cost. I would go again as I would like to try their tagine which I think should be added to the taster menu.
j. m.
Very cool place. Went for a party and places like this REALLY not my cup of tea. Staff were good place was busy... only downfall was we were told by a staff member that if we used our taste card we'd get half off our food only to be told 5mins later that it was not available on saturdays. Other than that mix up very good...
N.
Lovely restaurant very helpful staff, perfect for a group event!
D. F.
Enjoyed the Moroccan food in here. It is decorated in a Moroccan style which works well. Not busy at 6pm, so we didn't have to wait for a table.
A. C.
A gorgeously vibrant restaurant serving traditional Moroccan cuisine. Sofa seats and huge round tables to pile on the mezze like platters of food, the interactive belly dancer was fantastic fun too. Arabian nights meets restaurant scene from 'The Man Who Knew Too Much'.
M. Á.
Was in here bout 10 years ago at first and fallen in love with it ewery time when i go here i feel like damm i dont wanna leave ewer! I used to work in restaurants and such but the crew here is simply amazing, the decor and the whole feel of the place is like torn out from a 1000 and one night.
R. G.
Very good variation of Morrocan food. Excellent service and friendly
staff. Would recommend!
S. C.
The food was good, the service okay, the restaurant in urgent need of maintenance and redecoration!
A. A.
Food was good. Service was a little slow
L. F. S.
Nice place with a great deal on menus. Tastecard available. Good flavour and enough quantity. I would appreciate a bit more of light to eat.
P. B.
Loved everything about it. Lovely food - Marrakesh Feast - great vibe and friendly staff. Decor made us feel like we were on holiday. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
G. N.
Pros are that it's a large place in central London with pleasant decor. The food is mediocre (I can cook better), and I was pretty surprised that our tagines weren't served in tagines. Cocktails were pretty Ok, I'd come back for drinks.
K. B.
Had a lovely meal, with attentive and really friendly service. Great atmosphere, and a lovely spaces for our group on the mezzanine that felt private but not too shut away. Thank you!
I. H.
Stunning food, the portions are massive so don't go crazy with your order. The lamb couscous there is sublime!
Friendly staff as well, will be going agian.
E. L.
Fast and filling. Would recommend for a pre-theatre visit when you don't have a lot of time. Food is tasty but not fantastic. However, it's good quality for the price. They also take tastecard.
J. G.
Morrocan oasis of calm in the middle of Covent Garden. Great to come for just a drink (Arabic coffee!), or a snack (hoummos, morrocan patatas bravas) - most dishes are about a fiver and a pile of pitta bread comes with it. The decor is wonderful, the tables full of people chatting quietly - great ambience.
A. D.
Wonderful ambiance and decor, worth a visit just for the look of the place. Good food and friendly, relaxed service. Fantastic belly dancer (just before 9pm) when we visited Saturday night!
C. P.
Delicious Moroccan menu and friendly staff. Decent prices. The room is decorated so you think you're in Morocco.
A. L.
Always nice to be there. The staff is amazing, smiling and friendly from the beginning to the end.
When it comes to the food, trust me! You know why you're there and why you'll be back. It's just perfect.
S. S.
Must try the baklava and tea.
A. H.
Very busy place full of different markets and food places
C. S.
Had an amazing night here, really well looked after by the staff, warmly greeted by a young lady called Marika and really professional service by Mack! Sofas are comfy and ya feel at home here :)
J. D.
Enjoyed a Groupon deal here for a sharing lunch with baklava and mint tea.
Y. B.
A very nice atmosphere, the only thing that stopped me from rating it higher was that both my wife's and my starter plates had food stains on and weren't cleaned properly.
The meze served was a little bland too.
R. C.
Amazing food. Massive portions. Really friendly staff.
H. R.
Quite touristy & good for a flamboyant night out. Beware the belly dancers who'll try & dance with any male companions (not great for couples but possibly fun for meal with the in laws) delicious Moroccan cuisine which won't leave your stomach empty- nice for a long lazy meal catching up with old pals to a luxuriant atmosphere
A. k.
No complaints, fantastic service, delicious food and amazing decoration and interior design. A genuinely morroccan experience with the convenience of being in Central London.
S. P.
Enjoyed many aspects of this restaurant, including this one drink which was mind-blowing, and will have to return to figure out what it was called!
Also had a date here, which is probably not a great idea since there are rather good looking belly dancers :p
A. S.
I thought the food at Souk wasn't half bad - standard mezze stuff and you can't really go wrong with that. The real draw here though is the decor - it's like stepping into a genie's lamp. And if you come at the right time, you'll also see the belly dancers!
F. i. h. w.
You're really somewhere else when you enter the place. The service is nice. Very nice actually. We've just not been fully convinced by the food: it's more than ok... But it's not something you'll remember the next day.
n.
Very tasty food and a relaxed but lively atmosphere. Waiters were very friendly and helpful.
B. H.
Very nice food & good pricing. Can be very noisy when full house
m. r.
Great chef and amazing food
K. S.
Lovely food, great staff. Completely unhurried so a good place to catch up with friends. Thoroughly recommend.
S. S.
It is a little gem in the middle of Covent Garden. The food is awesome, and the service is excellent. The decor will remind you of Morocco.
J. B.
Great atmosphere, decent food, very attentive waiters. Don't understand the mixed reviews. I had a great experience and will be back
P. R.
Quirky and laid back restaurant, tasty food, good value.
J. M.
Really delighted by this place. Not sure why people are only giving it 3 stars. Had the houmous and falafel to start, and the lamb shank with cous cous for main. Everything was great. Service was polite and speedy. Atmosphere was great, take your other half here! Will be back!
D. N.
It's a nice and central place to get a good hookah. The waiters are very kind here
S. B.
Very friendly service, best shisha bar in London imo!
e.
Excellent service, good shisha at a decent price. Definitely recommend it to anyone who’s around the area!
D. J. G.
Just what we wanted! We were in a silly mood and having a silly day! Lovely food and service.
J.
Great place. Amazing food and atmosphere. Very good staff. Friendly and advised well on theur menu. Definately recommend this place tucked away.
R.
Great experience, the decor is superb and the food delicious. Friendly and helpful staff
E. V.
Good place good service, the food was also tasty.
R.
The food was really good. I had the lamb shank tagine as well as the meze. It tasted authentic and the interior had a very morrocan feel to it.
D. O.
Food was very nice, staff were attentive and the decor makes for an interesting environment. We came quite early so it was very quiet.
N. S.
Amazing food and experience. Did a private party and it was 100/100. Food was lush and decor/atmosphere - beautiful!!! Definitely recommend!!!
S. m.
Best Place ever. Been going there for almost 20 years and we even held our wedding Party there. Can't thank you enough.
E. T.
The waiters were patients and efficient. Comfortable and warm place. Tasty food.
We felt like we were in Morroc.
I. Y.
Very nice place amazing food. Staff very helpful. We did our baby’s party there and they made our evening.
D. H.
Looks authentic, food was okay. Service wasn't amazing and the portion sizes are not too generous
L. V. E. Y.
The food was wonderful. Every dish had flavour, love and attention. The service was really proactive.
S. D.
Good quirky atmosphere, loads of character.Good food and friendly staff.
F. G.
One of my favourite places! Food is great and there is a dancer at 8ish! Nice service too.
K. B.
Absolutely the best staff, best service and best tea.
The Souk Medina was lovely too, that was our last stop.
Bigly recommend!
S. P.
The setting is nice and so is the belly dancing. Food is very disappointing as are the prices. Service was awful too. Stick to some cocktails and starters and have dinner somewhere else
M. W.
The decor was absolutely morrocon feel. The person who served us (Kenza) was the most beautiful amazing person i came across in a restaurant.
H. R.
Although a bit pricey, the portions heres are great! The service is quick and friendly, and the fact that you can get refills makes it all so worth it! everything tasted great, I had thre different curries with my rices and tried the starters! a perfect location and delicious fingerlicking food!
D. M.
I had the lamb keefta was a tasty meal the highlight was the belly dancer who was rather friendly and revealing to say the least would return just for the dancing
N. M.
Great food but not the sort of place you'd take a date.
K. M.
Food is delightful. Staff are so conscientious and a complete pleasure. Thank you for another wonderful experience. Highly recommend
D. F.
Great atmosphere and service, lovely food. Had the set menu. No kids menu, but ours ate meatballs, pita and cous cous
S. P.
Incredible decor and atmosphere the food was incredible and the staff couldn’t be more friendly, air con and clean restroom it is definitely worth a visit I cannot recommend it enough
N. R.
Food is okay, but too pricey for the location and interior.
N. G.
Good food but chops a little salty.
M. R.
Excellent food, for people missing merguez, this is the place you are looking for. The shisha is quite good for an electric one, make sure you have a full battery though.
e. m.
Lovely food for a great price, especially on toast card! Bit chilly in there but service was lovely.
M. A.
Good foood after a theatre... very nice atmosphere.
S. M.
Had a lovely tagine and the mezze platter at the beginning was delish!
M. P.
I come here with my friends often to have electronic shisha inside. Its very nice interior and comfortable. The decor inside is pleasant. Shisha flavour variety could be a bit more and sometimes its hard to get staff attention as they have to manage restaurant downstairs as well. Other than that, price is good and experience is good!
A. D. B.
Surprisingly yummy food - don't think I've ever tasted Morocco this good except in Morocco. Can be a little pricey but if you've got a tastecard then it also works out as great value!
H. D.
Beautiful food! Come hungry as the meals are huge! Very friendly and helpful service.
B. 4.
We have visited here quite a few times, every time we come we have an amazing time, everyone is so friendly and make you feel welcome :)
J. T.
One of the true hidden gems of Central London. Amazing food, excellent service. A must visit!

Souk Medina- place where you forget that you are in busy city at all. Come, listen to great arabic music in quiet and cosy atmosphere. Enjoy tasty mastershefs food. Absolutely stunning

I have been there last week for my birthday party, the food was great, staff very helpful, and the music reminded me of my last trip to morocco, my girlfriend was very impressed with the belly dancer moves and had great time to, will definitely give it another go soon, I recommend to everyone.

The decorations are absolutely perfect...I have been to marocco and it looked exactly as one of those restaurants.... Food is nice but expensive.

Service is good. A nice collection of hot and cold mezes and oriental dishes + cocktails. Have shishas, although electric only

A good staple to have in your repetoir. Not going to set the world slight but nice food served with a smile. Probably better in a big group rathe than as an intimate evening out.

As you step off the street you immediately feel transported to the medina in Marrakech...it's truly remarkable! The amazing decor aside, the food is excellent and the staff are friendly.

Never had slower service in my life! Wow. But luckily the tasty food and unlimited chicken stopped me from lowering the rating further.

Great atmosphere, traditional design, the food is nice average, nice tea and I was questioned as to why I didn't want to pay service charge

We came here for the shisha, not the food, so my review only covers the aforementioned. The service was courteous, the shisha was nice, and when it became bunged up, I told the staff and they immediately replaced it though they don't have the Starbuzz flavours which are quite popular. The view of the street in central London by night is also pleasant.
