The food is warm and good. They serve Halal meat so I tried lamb shish. It was yummy and juicy. We tried also fish&chip, it could be better but not bad at all.

Refurbished just under a year ago the decor now matches the food as first rate dining! Very authentic food with a great menu with a varied selection and something for everyone! Good veggie selections as well as classic kebabs! The staff were amazing and their friendly smile and attentive service topped off the whole experience!

We went on a Thursday at midday and got seated straight away, our server was very kind and came to us as soon as we needed them. We ordered calamari and grilled halloumi which were both wonderful starters, highly recommend! For mains we ordered a chicken and avocado salad and a mixed meat kabab which were also both delicious and portioned very well for the price. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the whole service and the wonderful food and we will definitely return when we go back to London! The toilets were also very clean.

We visited several years ago (Spring of 2018 to be precise) and were very excited to eat here. The food was okay, we ordered the London Set Meze for 4 people, plus the halloumi plate. Halloumi was my favorite, and the hummus and tzatziki were very good. I ordered a Diet Coke and was given a Coke Zero instead. When I asked about it, I was told it was Diet Coke (it definitely was not) and they refused to fix it. The service left something to be desired, and overall it was a rather expensive mediocre meal. I will again state that this was over two years ago, and hopefully things have changed a bit since our visit.

I ordered fish n chips for £12. The masive dish arrived 5 minutes later, it was pretty good but not amazing. Went to the restroom to find toilet paper lying on the floor. Service was fast but the waiters seemed to be annoyed the whole time is was there. The only thing I will remember is that it was a Mediterranean restaurant with Turkish ambience

A delightfully authentic mix of Turkish and Lebanese dishes, all cooked to a fine standard. I tried the 'Lamb Adana' and was very satisfied as it arrived to the table. Add the chilli salsa to your plate once offered by the waiters - delicious!

Best baba ganoush I've had in years. Good and diverse bread. Among the best moussaka and kifta (however they spell it here) ever also. Even a decent side salad. At lunch! Great location, and not always touristy. at least when we there, good to enthusiastic service. The place is oddly clean. Their decor is sometimes fussy (such as the very cool lamps). A lot of places would ignore this, but here they are perfectly dust free. The have high chairs, and were not tolerant we brought a toddler, but happy about it. The chairs are several inches too short. I've never seen anything quite like it, but it's weird and uncomfortable. Bathrooms are unisex, in reasonable supply, but could be cleaned it maintained better and there's no obvious changing table.

I've been to both Cuchina and Troia a few times in the past and I've always had a good meal. This time my visit to Troia was with my elderly parents who I had treated to a visit to the South Bank. I didn't appreciate the lively usher chap that was outside both resteraunts trying to drum up business by barely allowing customers to read the outside menus before trying to convince them to try either resteraunt (they both fall under the same owner) by showing them to a seat before they'd made their minds up. My father initially struggled with the extremely low seats in Troia as his legs aren't good due to arthritis. He managed the visit fine I believe. Despite the establishment being far from busy on a Bank Holiday Saturday, service was incredibly slow and the waiters were constantly rushing around. They certainly didn't look happy and it was difficult to get their attention in a few occasions when we needed water or the credit card machine. When the food arrived, it was lovely as expected and I have no issues there. We were a party of 4 that went straight for mains (4x), with 3x non-alcoholic drinks. Bill amounted to £67 including the £7 service charge.

If you are up for a good Kebab in London, then this is the place. All the foods are really tasty and amazing here. Also, prices are good.

Food was delicious. There was bottomless pita bread with our meal (we got one of the share meals). The waiter's were very nice, but sometimes we waited a while to get their attention. We were also charged for flat water, we later found out that you can ask for tap water and they are not supposed to charge you for that.

Oh wow this place is amazing. We stumbled across this restaurant while looking around Southbank. We were welcomed by a happy waiter called Yassine who showed us to our table. Yassine was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks menu. We ordered the London mezze and within 10 minutes the 9 dishes came out. Omg they were delicious!! Yassine made sure our drinks were topped up and bought out extra bread. He made us laugh and made our evening. We will definitely be going back next time we are in London.

We wanted a meal before heading to the National Theatre and Troia was an excellent choice. We were greeted outside the restaurant by a charming host, who ushered us into the restaurant and sat us at our table. It was quiet, which is a huge compliment today given how noisy most restaurants are. The lamb kebab was tender, well seasoned and the rest of our meal was tasty as well. Attentive service without being overbearing and did not rush us away. Highly recommend for the quality of the food and the value.

What can I say about this place, if I could give it more then 5 stars I would! The mixed grill was absolutely outstanding!!! The chicken, lamb and kebab was so succulent and soft! Halal restaurant on Southbank, nice decor at atmosphere. If you are used to going to Turkish/ Med restaurants in your local area, don’t have the same expectations here. There’s no complimentary salad, dips or bread on arrival. I ordered steak, medium to well done.... had to send it back 3 times as it was just oozing blood, I gave up in the end and just ate half of it. Overall not worth the money we paid, quite disappointed.

Hidden courtyard full of wonder. The service we received was brilliant. The authentic french cuisine is both fresh and tasty. Paid £7 service charge on a £56 bill, bit steep for a quick bite to eat. Ordered two identical main dishes one was more oily than the other, it was delicious regardless. The £7 service fee is where I grumble again, the only interaction our table had was when seated and orders taken, Drinks, Mains, Table cleared where we ordered coffee and the bill, that's almost £2.50 per appearance at our table to perform the basics of service, noone came to check in on the meal being eaten. There were 4 tables in and others were interacted with more. Though sptaff were polite and did their jobs well enough, I just had a bit higher expectations from a place that was decorated so nicely and the prices offered.

Best vegetarian meal ever! Usually have to have veggie pizza but here there were a number of choices. Bearing in mind they had a reduced menu after reopening following Covid, I chose potatoes with halloumi. It was amazing! Simple but really tasty! We had a large party and arrived shortly before closing, but everyone at the restaurant was very hospitable and welcoming. All of the food we had was absolutely delicious. The London grill is the best value item on the menu volume wise, although a significant portion of the food was average. The wait staff was slow and inatentive but at least courteous. There are far better Turkish kebabs out there for far more reasonable a price for the same quality.

Nice Turkish restaurant with amazing decoration. The staffs are friendly. The food was delicious. I tried kebab with rice and salads. They served a hot bread besides the dish which was really tasty. There are also some facilities for kids such as child seats and a table in the toilet for changing babies' diaper.

This place has all red signs: the place is huge, full of tourists and menu is huge with mix and match of whole bunch of different kitchens, in other words it looks like a classical tourist trap. However we were pleasantly surprised: there food was top notch, service great and the end we enjoyed our meal a great deal. Just a tip though: they have a nice tap beer that is not in the menu (for some reason), just ask the waiters.

There was an Uzbek, a Turkish and a Bulgarian guy I sadly don't see anymore. They were lovely and made me feel at home. They knew how to take care of customers and were super hospitable. The place is Mediterranean/Turkish and has definitely lost its character. Good shisha though.

My friend found Troia on website & it had great reviews. It was located to near where we were staying & in walking distance. On arrival - looked nice outside & looked busy with people... luckily we had managed to book at short notice. We were given a very warm welcome on our arrival. Great decor & atmosphere. Seating was lower than normal & quirky. We had a selection of meals from a set menu & 11 different ones were served & we felt stuffed afterwards. We had a traditional dessert which was lovely. Had a traditional drink which was aniseed. Also had an unusual drink which was yogurt & salt ( the waiter did warn us it is like marmite - you either love it or hate it! ) The waiters were terrific and we laughed loads. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would definitely recommend a visit. I would definitely go again if visiting London.

Went here is desperation as it was pouring with rain. Very expensive mediocre food. I had a 10oz steak with peppercorn sauce that was OK. The family had a mixture of mezze starters which weren't that good. The service was OK. My wife and I had a drink and we had no pudding and the bill was over £100. The furniture however seemed to be a size in between kids and average grown-ups which made it quite uncomfortable. In conclusion a decent place to stop for a quick bite at a fair price.

I have been multiple times to it as it's serve a nice Turkish/Italian food. The toilets are unisex which is breaking out the norm. Staff are friendly, on occassions may experience a delay in service. The only negative point is they don't serve freshly squeezed / blended juices which I usually how I like to start my meal.

Simply the best fried brie. Fried brie with strawberry sauce was just melting in my mouth and everyone on my table loved it. My friends and I were trying to find a restaurant by London Eye in the rain. This restaurant is right by Marriott hotel. This place is decorated in Turkish theme with vibrant colors. Took my family here earlier today and they enjoyed it. Food was good, I had lamb fillet which tasted so tender and good, and they had the burger and fish and chips. The burger was ok (had much better) and I tasted better fish and chips in Sheffield honestly but they were alright here as well. Didn't disappoint the UK even though it's a Mediterranean restaurant. Service was good, not the best, took 25 minutes to get the food at around 6:00 in the evening. All in all, I would recommend since it is the only one in the area but will definitely try others as well!
