The whole experience was incredible the food was great, I love the different takes on the dishes. It is not original dishes so if you after that you will be disappointed but if your up for trying new versions of classic African meals you'll love it. Word to this those that like there food hot/pepper hot (like me), it isn't made like that so you may need to ask for chilli (i hot fresh Chili & it did the trick). The service from the moment we stepping in until the moment we left, the decor, the toilet, the take away container & bag, everything is immaculate. I'm already planning my next visit!!

Love love Stork! From the music to the staff and the food. Customer service is so great!!! Tanya was so nice and accommodating. Our server (don’t remember his name, but he’s Jamaican) was so friendly with a positive attitude! He brought in all the good and positive vibes! The manager was so nice. We were running late and the kitchen was closing, but the manager made sure we settled in and order our food. Plus we got a bottle of champagne because of an initial confusion with our reservation. Just really amazing! Oh and the ambience is everything! I will recommend anything on the menu. We were a party of 8 and everyone liked their food. For desert, order this in the picture. SO good!!

Everything about the experience was great. The welcome greeting, the decor, the music, the service, the food - all great. The waiter was extremely helpful with the menu and choices and had alot of patience with our indecisive nature's! The food was absolutely delicious, I had the Ravioli to start and the Snapper for main with sides of Jollof, Black Bean Humous and Red Red- they gave us a free portion of Plantain too! Would definitely recommend, I want to come back for the Friday DJ atmosphere - looks like it would be a wicked night! 💕🙌

Me and a couple of friends came to Stork Restaurant for dinner, to celebrate my birthday after a relaxing day at the spa. The staff were welcoming and polite, the service was good, we really enjoyed the food and the drinks- our waitress was attentive and professional. I appreciate the birthday dessert and the extra cocktail (That was nice of the Stork Team) - I would definitely come back again :)

I was so excited about this because I thought anything in Mayfair upheld a high standard of customer service. I wanted to support my people by spending my hard earned cash to treat my nearest and dearest to fine dinning on my special birthday. Unfortunately I was left disappointed. The process was long and tedious as I was given a set meal menu meant work for me. Gathering all the relevant info from my family about their menu selection and etc and inputing that into a spreadsheet. Going back and forth to ensure that everything was done right and being informed that I would have a private dining area and a bottle of bubbly would be on ice waiting for my arrival. So much was discussed in preparation for my big birthday in this "fine dining" restaurant unfortunately my expectations and what was outlined was not fulfilled by the restaurant. The food was not in my opinion 5star quality nor was the service to be honest. On top of that I space I was given was crumped and just no way what I was told I would get for my money. There's so much more to my evening at Stork but I will leave it here. I don't know if I will go back let's see.

PAN-AFRICAN CUISINE REIMAGINED! I absolutely loved my visit at Stork and don‘t even know where to begin. Stork has been on my list for so long and so I was super excited about the fact that they were able to accommodate us two on a Friday evening. From the time we stepped out of our Uber we were greeted by lovely staff outside. The ladies that worked front of house were super friendly, offered to take our coats. Nice music was playing in the entrance area. We were walked to our table downstairs. I absolutely loved the interior and the art pieces. It looked effortlessly upscale. The signature cocktails are delicious. I ordered East African Rose & I totally recommend you trying this one! We definitely had TOO MANY 🌹 Starters were absolutely delicious. We went for some grilled chicken wings with East African spices, the MEAT FELL OFF THE BONE! We also ordered the „Yam Coin“ and the presentation of the starters was superb. For Mains we had the Chicken Suya and the Jerked Poussin! Absolutely delicious and had a little kick as well. The jollof was great as well as the Cassava fries! Dessert was out of this world. We had the Puff Puff Sundae and Chin Chin Dough Ice Cream. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We paid quite a bit though so this restaurant is definitely for special occasions 😅

My experience was a full 5 stars. I went to Stork with a few friends last week to celebrate my birthday and had such a good experience I’ve been telling everyone to go there since. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the friendly staff who took my jacket. It really does make a great first impression. The food was really nice, especially the Tiger prawns and Lamb croquettes if your having starters. You will definitely leave here with a full belly. The DJ was on fire (music wasn’t too loud. We could hear each other at the table 👌🏾). The Head Chef came and introduced himself as one of my guests suspected he was off Master Chef, which he was. I enjoyed hearing about his career journey. Overall, my Birthday meal was lovely, topped off by the Restaurant Manager and Waiters bringing out a special Birthday treat. I’ll be visiting again.

The food was phenomenal, and the cocktails were 10/10. The blend of traditional flavours with a modern twist was done to perfection. There is nothing else like Stork in the UK. Also the staff were lovely. They honestly need to be awarded Michelin Stars! The sugar cane passion is the best cocktail I have ever had hands down. I couldn't recommend Stork more and will 100% be returning and bringing friends and family too.

It was about time an African related restaurant could be found in Mayfair area and join the fine dining world. The staff are very welcoming and they even showed us around the restaurant and the private dining area which is a great idea for a place like that. Incredible flavours, friendly staff who knows the menu well and are ready to give you suggestions. We had a booking for 6, most people are quite dressed up but also not a big deal if dressed casual. The concept of Stork, bringing african cuisine across continent is beautifully thought out, and is echoed across the restaurant from its location to its decor. If anyone is wondering, there is a £35 deposit per person upfront, meaning £210 for us and it was of course, taken off the final bill.

Amazing birthday dinner. Seamless experience from start to finish. Ladies on reception were warm and welcoming, taking our jackets on arrival. Upstairs are the bathrooms and DJ- great music, created the perfect buzzy ambience. We were seated downstairs. Luxurious decor throughout. Both the food and cocktails were delicious however we did have to wait slightly longer than generally expected. The food definitely had a western watered down twist but the underpinnings of the authentic flavours still remained. Paddy- 10/10 waiter. Very knowledgeable on the menu, personable and professional. Overall an impressive experience.

I had an extremely pleasant experience dinning at Stork last Sunday. The vibe was just right and the ambiance was delightful. Mustafa was our waiter for the evening and provided us with excellent service, he attended to us at all times ensuring we left smiling. A heads up, the tables were quite close to each other so you will be in for a Cosy night. But the background music playing helps to drown out the noise. Other than this, the good is great and the restaurant is stunning.

I was heading out for an early evening walk, when a friend called and proposed dinner at a Pan-African restaurant in Mayfair called Stork...... "Stork", I echoed! "Never heard of it!!! Is it Nigerian?" "No, Pan-African" he replied. Suited and booted, we headed off and even managed to find parking right in front to the restaurant. After a welcoming reception, we took our seats in the private dining room downstairs and enjoyed some of the best cocktails I have ever had. The Watermelon margarita and the Sweet African Heat are worthy of mention. To compliment the beautifully crafted menu, we had the most charming and knowledgeable young man looking after us. His attention to detail and knowledge was simply impeccable. He most definitely added that extra pizzaz to our overall experience. We enjoyed for starters the Yam coin, sweet potato ketchup; the king prawn avocado chow chow, scotch bonnet and date jam and Ras el Hanout Lamb Croquete..... all of which were simply out of this world. The portions were absolutely perfect for 3 of us ( which included two grown men and myself) We continued the experience with a host of dishes for our mains, chicken suya, Beef ribeye from the grill section, another chicken dish, two side dishes of - jellof rice and plantain (two necessary components that satisfy the Nigerian in me). Needless to say, we were not able to finish everything 😋. But in came our wonderful server to the rescue; our leftovers were beautifully boxed up and bagged in what I can only describe as the most bougie doggie bag!! If you're looking for contemporary yet authentic experience of African cuisine, then Stork is your destination. In place of my evening walk, I discovered one of Londons best secret and now you can too. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I attended this restaurant for my sisters graduation on Friday with a party of 12 . Reception Host : We were welcomed and greeted by a lady who asked for our jackets/coats she then promptly sat us at our table. She was very welcoming. Waiters : Whilst seated we were immediately acknowledged by the waiters who gave us the drinks and food menu and asked us if they could be of any help . They were extremely helpful the entire night . One of them a young lady continuously kept coming back to ask if we needed anything further and if we were happy . Food : Food took about 15-20 minutes to arrive . I must say the presentation is immaculate it urges you to dig in right away . My favourite dish was the Jerk Poussin seasoned to perfection was absolutely amazing , I did try other dishes too and couldn’t fault anything all their dishes are seasoned well. Portion sizes are filling too . Well done Chef ! Drinks : The cocktail menu had a lot of variety The drinks looked pretty and was nice. Although would have been better if there was a description of the ingredients of the cocktails just so you can choose correctly. Music : They had a live dj, he played Afrobeats, HipHop, R and B, House and Funky . Really nice vibes will keep you dancing . Decor : The toilets are definitely the place for a nice selfie ! The decor in the toilet is out of this world . They have a floral wall you could also take pictures with. Price : Affordable £££ Overall I would definitely go back , to try another dish at Stork, to have a great night ! Amazing reception and vibe !

The service from the manager was impeccable. Beautiful, creative decor. (Girls the bathroom is selfie worthy) The menu infuses with classic recipes such as jerk chicken or a roasted lamb, cooked to your tender preference. So don't be put off going if you're scared of an okra soup. The restaurant offers an upscale introduction to West African dishes with adequately filling portion sizes attached to ££ price tag. In regards to cocktails, personally I wasn't impressed. I went for a birthday party, there was a fiasco with cocktails arriving incorrectly or with 2 people ordering the same cocktail yet both tasting completely different. However, The manager rectified the errors complimentary, hardly a reason to never return, which I certainly will.

The good news: I had an amazing time. The bad news: I had such an amazing time that I forgot to take pictures of the food. (Sorry) The professionalism and customer care at this restaurant is flawless. I had a birthday booking and the bookings team (Joana) helped to make the process as smooth as possible. MK - the main person we interacted with was attentive, patient and considerate. To be honest - the staff all round were warm and welcoming and but the servers/waiters all had something extra about their customer care that made them stand out head and shoulders above everyone else. I love food and so do my friends and we thoroughly enjoyed: Prawns, Lamb and the puff puff dessert. However, on a special occasion, good food isn’t enough and thankfully Stork staff had the customer service skills to ensure this was a stress-free, happy, fun-filled evening.

I visited here with a friend last night for dinner and we were blown away by the amazing customer service. From the reception desk when we arrived, to the security and other staff. A massive thank you goes to our waiter Mustafa who was an absolute delight! He was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable- he made the experience what it was and it’s so rare to find such great customer service now days. This is a high-end African fusion restaurant. The food was delicious, once it arrived. I didn't like where we were seated and it was an hour wait between courses, when we complained, we were told, by the manager no less, that there was a large party in their private dinning room and so our order was delayed😳. For an hour?!!! We ended up skipping dessert. It ruined what was supposed to be a great occasion as my son and daughter-in- love took me there for my birthday. I won't be going back and I won't be recommending it to friends. As I said though, the food was faultless and the restaurant's atmosphere was very nice. The cocktails were also delish!

Beautiful food and fantastic service, we were made to feel welcome before we had even entered the door. My husband absolutely fell in love with the goat curry croquettes and I will have to source some cassava for chips. We both had a trio of chicken for mains which was moist and beautifully seasoned. I didn’t have the best time here. Whilst overall the food was delicious, the service was poor. Firstly our drink orders were wrong. We then waited at least 20 minutes before our food orders were taken and that was due to me having to find someone to give us service. Our waiter forgot part of our order and it was extremely hard to get anyone’s attention. Also they had some how run out of chicken so that made our choices limited. Despite this, the food was good. Goat beignets are amazing and the cassava chips were also tasty. The rib eye beef was ‘melt in the mouth’ and I would recommend the peach cobbler!

first things first… the girl who greets new customers - shocking behaviour! Never have I felt so uncomfortable within seconds of entering a place. Other reviews mention her too so pls speak to her. The food was nice but nothing that stood out. The cocktails need work, especially given the price. The staff are super friendly but so scatterbrained.. I had to ask multiple times for items whilst they also forgot to bring us stuff we ordered. If you want something a bit more authentic and real try Chukos.

OMG OMG OMG. I hesitate to write this review in case this place becomes too popular. If you want to take someone out somewhere special for AFRICAN HAUTE cuisine this is it. The food is delicious. Its my heritage so am always a bit stuff about what my mum can make better but really knocks it out the park. Great mixed, atmosphere not the cheapest but v good value. The only downside is the wine is is rubbish. Don't let that put you off cos the cocktails are delicious and they have star beer. Recommended

Came for my friends birthday. I wasn't expecting such generous portions and ordered a little too much. The restaurant was a lot smaller than expected but had a nice interior decor. It was very quiet for a Saturday evening (is that normal?) and the waiting staff did look a bit awkward standing around but it only meant we had their full attention for the evening. Once the DJ started playing some music the atmosphere improved tremendously. They did forget to bring my friends dessert with a birthday message I had requested so I have to knock a star off. Would definitely come again but maybe not order so many sides.

Went to Stork for a Saturday night dinner. I must say... the restaurant is gorgeous. Beautiful decor inside and outside. There are quite a few very cute places to take (Instagram-able) pics. The food was great!!! I love western and African fusion. I had the Beef Suya which was probably the best Suya I’ve ever had. It was seasoned to perfection. Cocktails were very tasty too. I would say the food and drinks are reasonably priced. It was definitely a good vibe in there. There was a live DJ who was playing all the current hits. Just by looking around, you could tell everyone was having a good time and enjoying the food. I would definitely recommend and go there again.

The jollof rice side dish was smoky with the party jollof taste, the Beef suya tender and seasoned, though the jerk Chichen isn't an African dish it tasted good and the "jerk" sauce had an African taste. The puff puff dessert was an amazing way to end the experience. The Chapman was orange but still tasted like Chapman. The Watermelon margarita was strong, loved it. My least favourite was the goat meat which I didn't know was going to me a croquette (£14 for 2). The Yam coin was a misleading name which was just sweet potato and the Sugar cane cocktail not made with actual sugarcane was a let down. The overall experience was great!

I was in a group of 3 guests that visited on a Wednesday night! We were the only ones in the restaurant. I was excited to taste the fine dining African cuisine. I ordered the Jollof rice and mixed meat suya. I was disappointed at the suya especially it was £24! There was nothing special about it for it to be £24. It was a very small portion covered only 1/4 of the plate. The Jollof rice was okay and I have tasted better. In total the bill came to £45 including 1 drink. I felt so ripped off as there are equal African restaurants to this such as 805 and Enish for half the price! Maybe because it's in Mayfair I don't know but it's not worth eating their again.

What can I say, I was already expecting big things from photos and online presentation. From the 1st bite of my start which was the king prawns I was already sold to say I'm coming back again. I mean the flavours sent my taste into a frenzy. The whole presentation of food on the plate was amazing. Hats off to the chefs. The overall experience from the greeting at the front door to the front desk and all the staff was very welcoming. The only down point which is not really a down point is I wanted dessert but I was too full by the time I got there. So this only means I have to return again. Thank you such a lovely experience.

The food, cocktails and decor was lovely. Cocktails were strong and I really enjoyed my king prawn starter…. But the service was terrible. The manager in particular was rude and borderline short tempered. He started by hurrying us in by telling us we have max 30 mins to hold our table or he would cancel our table, this was all being said whilst we were physically at the restaurant and the birthday girl was taking pics since they asked us to wait when we arrived. (The restaurant wasn’t even busy) Then despite being seated at 8.20 no one came to confirm our orders until 9. Our starters didn’t come out until 10. We then had a mix up with desserts which the waitress caused and admitted she caused but the manager was behaving like it was our fault. Finally time to pay for the bill. We’ve had to asked for the bill on multiple occasions before it arrives. Honestly this place was not worth the stress.

Despite a little disappointing customer service on the phone which may have caused us to go elsewhere the waitress was very attentive and amiable. The food was nice although my guests did comment that both the jerk chicken and suya ribeye could have been better. I imagine those dishes would be flagship so perhaps it could be worked on. I really liked the art on the wall though. The interior was well done.
