Freshly made sushi. Short summary Atmosphere - in the middle of a busy shopping centre Staff and management - husband and wife team at this branch. Husband was super nice but wife was rude and unfriendly Kid friendly - has a few things on the menu for kids Menu and range selection - good range of food on offer and drinks Recommend to friends and family - for a quick take away. Cleanliness - yes Note - check your order before you leave. My order was missing a couple of items and when I told them about it. The wife was not very friendly about it

A gorgeous day today and time for an equally gorgeous salmon poke. Sushi Momoda can never be faulted for their takeaway (or delivered) food. Impeccably prepared to the highest of standards. If you're in the Surrey Quays/Canada Water area and haven't visited yet you are missing a real gem.

TLDR; best and only choice for Japanese food around this area. A bit pricey but everything, including the sushi, is decent. There is little competition in terms of Japanese food in this area so I’m glad Sushi Momoda is here. The food is decent and although it is a little pricey, it’s better than having no Japanese food here at all. Ive been coming for years and can say that the sushi is decent. Tonight i had Katsu Don with Egg sauce. The flavour was good and the cutlet was freshly made. The soy sauce based sauce was just right too. However the rice was a bit of a let down as it has clearly been left in the rice cooker too long. It was mushy and overcooked. The stall used to be a tiny booth inside the shopping mall but has now graduated to a shopping container. This means that there is now open / outdoor seating.

Momoda Bento is an extension of Sushi Momoda, just outside of Surrey Quays shopping center (red metal container). Momoda Bento are an Asian fusion specializing in Japanese Bento boxes and Ramen. This Bento place has good quick service, putting together Bento boxes fresh to take away. The miso soup was creamy and tasty. The Gyoza was delicious. Crunchy on the bottom, and just the right amount of chewy on the sides. The rice and curry form a perfect blend. The salad had a surprisingly pleasant dressing. It's not cheap, but none the less, good value for money.

The sushi and bubble tea here is amazing! I live quite locally and usually visit once every fortnight and nothing else quite compares to them in the area. Nice family run business who are very courteous. Usually take it home to eat since it’s a stall in the middle of a shopping centre. Alternatively, you can sit at the canteen upstairs if you prefer. Recently tried the salmon poke bowl and fell in love. I do recommend trying their Wakame and spicy dragon rolls! 😍

Always see this place at surrey quays, heard a few good reviews so decided to try it. The food is nicely presented and more importantly it is tasty! Their prices are reasonable, its a family run business and we will definitely come again! If its busy then you may not get through to them via phone, we were nearby so it wasn’t much trouble but can be frustrating if you want to order to collect to save time.

They just opened another shop on the side of the shopping center. We tried karaage and gesso today. They were well seasoned and soft, not frozen product. I am a Japanese and I feel they do better job than me, I will probably go back there tomorrow. Fantastic!

These were ordered through Deliveroo and we were quite pleased! For the Honey Dew bubble tea, extra pearls for 60p were added and were perfect. For large bubble teas here, I recommend getting extra pearls because I was left with hot chocolate and no pearls when I had about a quarter left.

This place is amazing! I order here once every few weeks and it is some of the most authentic sushi I have found yet in London. The sushi is at the right temperature and the sushi rice is the perfect consistency. I love their bubble tea selection as well. Best prices and best sushi!

I've been going here for the past two years and it's honestly one of my favourite places for sushi and bubble tea. The food is freshly made in front of you by the husband and wife duo, the taste of the food is so delicious and the price is reasonable. My husband and I love getting our sushi and bubble tea fix from here and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Absolutely fantastic sushi and bubble tea especially for the Surrey Quays / Canada Water area, close to me and I regularly buy in the shopping centre. The sushi is high quality, made really well and stays together, the guy who prepares it definitely cares when he is making it, tastes really good; I'd recommend the spicy dragon roll! Because they are an independent business you will have to wait a little while (usually 10mins on weekends) as the 2 staff prepare most of the sushi on order, but its well worth the wait for the great taste :) I couldn't see any food loyalty cards when I buy (hopefully soon). Love your bubble tea, please don't leave and keep up the good work!

Sushi Momoda is a real hidden gem with incredible sushi and a wide variety of dishes and bubble tea! Although a very unassuming sushi bar in the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre this is one of the best 'fast' sushi places I've been to. Food is usually prepared fresh right in front of you and the bubble tea is delicious. A real authentic experience with very friendly staff and very reasonable prices! Highly recommended A+++

The first time I saw it I thought it was a low quality sushi spot and boy was I wrong. Amazing quality, great prices. If you live close enough better get takeaway because Deliveroo has higher pricing (and that is without the delivery cost). Products are always fresh and taste wonderful.

I usually grab myself a bubble tea from here whenever I do my shopping at Surrey Quays and can't complain at all. The taste and quality is amazing with a wide variety of flavours available. I've also tried the sushi in the past which is fresh and tasty but I keep coming back for the bubble tea mainly!!

Sushi here is so good! I love the Salmon Roll with the onions. I always get sushi from here when I’m in the area. My only problem was that my bubble tea was not sealed properly and I spilt it all over me.

Great quality for a reasonable price. Delicious sushi and tasty bubble tea. I recommend you trying the strawberry tea alongside with strawberry pearls. This is flawless! And the staff is friendly and ready to help. 10/10 would visit again

I came across this place randomly to get Bubble Tea at the Surrey Quay Shopping Centre in Canada Water / Rotherhite, south east London. Although very unassuming, they have the best Bubble Tea I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE! Also the sushi is the best “fast food” sushi I’ve also ever had in my life. A real hidden gem!

The best Sushi I have ever eaten honestly. The flavours bring back memories of my trip to Japan. The sushi is always freshly prepared throughout the day by the chef who is Japanese. Good customer service aswell.

Sushi is very tasty, although on my second time ordering (04/08/21) I experienced gastroenteritis symptoms the following day- sharing this comment as constructive criticism for management and staff as it would be a shame for other customers to experience this and prevent returning customers, especially as the sushi is very tasty not to forget the passionfruit lemonade bubble tea I had !

If you’re vegetarian or vegan or have an allergy, ensure to proper explain what you can’t and cannot eat (silly, I know!) as the staff may not fully understand otherwise. I requested a vegan roll and got one with egg mayo on it. They swapped it after arguing with me. 4 stars because it was actually delicious and a good price. But business needs to understand UK cultural practises better.
