C. B. K.I’m so glad I’ve found this place. Started working nearby and loving fresh sushi! I’ve yet to try some of the hot food.
Did have takoyaki, though felt more like microwaved frozen ones as opposed to fresh grilled 😢 So not so crispy on the outside, but the taste is still there.

D. Z.Was not expecting to have the best sushi I’ve ever tasted in London, but there we go! Tucked away at the edge of Camden Passage, this place has a classic menu of Japanese sushi and dishes that you can have either in (there are a few tables outside for the lucky ones) or takeaway. I had the matsu set and it was excellent - high quality seafood at just the right temperature with perfectly made rice. The tamago was luscious and delicately sweet. And the service was very friendly (if a bit slow). Would highly recommend to anyone in the mood for authentic, reliable and affordable Japanese food without all the faff.
N. J.Great little sushi place. Good selection, fresh ingredients and tastes great. They'll make up your order for you whilst you wait, and are usually pretty fast at turning around an order. For freshly made to order sushi it's not as expensive as you might fear. The sushi tastes great too, which feels quite important...
G. B.No frills takeout place with only a couple of outdoor seats, but the sushi is worth it! Not as impressed with the takoyaki - a bit mushy, no textural contrast, l they did not retain their lovely shape and were utterly drenched in slightly overpowering sauce.

My friend who previously lived in Japan for a few years lived nearby and suggested this place for dinner.
She recommended the Matsu selection box, and I ordered a special prawn tempura roll with an eel bowl on top.
The fishes in the Matsu box was fresh, tasty and melt in your mouth. The sushi rice was nicely made.Good quality sushi!
I particularly liked the toro (fatty tuna) and really good salmon!

Good standard for eel rice bowl too! Enough sauce to cover the eel and rice. Good portion. (Usually it can be really pricey elsewhere)

D. M.Authentic Japanese I always pip by when in Angel to get some groceries the seven spicy costa only 2 pounds ....and grab some sushi to eat by the canals
S.Sushi made with fresh ingredients and not smothered in sauces. Had their teriyaki chicken rice and curry upon. They were perfect on a cold day
V. S.Absolutely love this place. Every dish is a delight. Fish is beautifully fresh. Hot meals are delicious too. Service is on point. The chef's are consumate professionals and you can taste the flawless execution and high quality ingredients in every bite.
