We LOVE Thai food and feel so lucky to have this amazing restaurant nearby for takeaway. Hands down the best Thai takeaway we've ever had. Food consistently so so tasty. Love the massaman tofu curry which is full of tasty vegetables and a sauce I could drink! After years only ever once had missing item in order and even then they sent the missing rice round in under ten minutes!

Sorry to say but the delivery we received was below par. The portion of duck for the pancakes was generous but there was loads of bone in there. Not very pleasant to bite into (fragments, not obvious long leg bones etc..). The pad thai was also extremely starchy and wasn't very big. Sauce and sweetcorn fritters were great though.

I love Thai food and noticed that the pub had changed to a Thai Restaurant so thought we’d give it a try. First time we visited and we weren’t disappointed...! Atmosphere was relaxed and half full for a Sunday evening. The food was absolutely delicious and tasty and we will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu. Very authentic Thai food which we loved. The only thing the I found very odd was that we had to order our drinks from the bar whereas the waitress took our food order at our table? Little confused as to why they do this as it goes on the same bill? Starter (2 people) - Mixed Thai Tiger Starter Main - Beef Massaman Curry with Coconut Rice Main - Special Weeping Tiger with Sticky Rice Dessert - Caramel Iced Soufflé with Baileys

Food was tasty. Good portions (i.e not too much, but for some maybe not enough). Old pub fittings still in place. Kind of odd decor, but I was satisfied with the food I ordered so I suppose it doesn't really matter.

When? Sunday lunch time Busy? We're the first customers of the day. By the time we left at 1400 it was half full. Food? Good. Lived in Thailand so know decent Thai food. Had Thai beef salad (that could have been hotter - but I suspect that can be spiced up upon request) and Pad Thai - both dishes were good thanks to the Thai staff in the kitchen. Beer? Limited but do have Singa on tap 👍 Service? Prompt. Efficient. Good. Kid friendly? Yes. Our 1yr out was quite content in one of the many high chairs and enjoyed walking about post lunch. Décor? Fine. Recent rebranded from a trash heap called the dutchess. If anything they're going to struggle with space but a good half dozen tables for two and a few more for bigger groups. Summary? Solid 8/10. Would probably have scored higher for a more authentic beef salad (heaps of beef btw) but that's probably due to my experiences in Thailand. Overall another great addition to the Maze Hill local restaurants... We've needed a Thai now we finally have two in one month (another has opened up a bit closer to Greenwich). We'll be back without question. Note: they advertise sky sports... Bit odd really but maybe the evening crowd is different from the midday crowd... No issue I don't think and eventually I suspect they'll realise that the food is enough of a draw card to also have sports on offer... Maze Hill Resident

I ordered Red Curry and Green Curry for take way they were Delicious. One of the best Curry I have ever tried. Jucy, creamy and spicy in a good amount. Arrived very warm and in good conditions. I suggest to try this Currys.

Ordered only once Chicken pad thai and chicken dumplings. I wanted to visit this restaurant but due to lockdown could not go there, so ordered food online. And our first experience was very good. Good taste and good quality as well as quantity. We enjoyed the food and hopefully soon visit this restaurant after lockdown.

Fantastic food! We went during second lockdown when they were doing takeaway. Everything we got was so flavourful and delicious! I was surprised as didn't have the best reviews but will definitely be going back. We had dim sum, duck rolls and chicken wings to start which were brilliant and then red Thai curry and the weeping tiger steak - both amazing. Will be a regular!

The Tom Gai coconut soup gives small portions of chicken. It taste as if they put butter, which is not a regular Thai item. The Green/Red Curry are very good! Expect when they put old stale green peppers which are spoiled, in the curry. Otherwise their Curry can be good depending on what day the cook decides on what goes into the menu?

I can't find many good take away nearby my area, but I tried the takeaway from Thai tiger which I wold recommend! Both red curry and green curry sauce are very nice, but chicken was slightly overcooked. Pad thai is good. Although prawn cracker is not given generously, probably it is better for my health.

Lovely food, amazing staff. One of the main reasons myself and the other half go there is because of how attentive, and friendly the staff are. (And of course the food) The staff have a " no problem too big, or too small," attitude. They make a fuss of our one yr old daughter (who comes with us all the time.) - she loves the tom yum soup as much as we do! I highly recommend Thai Tiger, as everything about the place is a delight.

Just OK, I ordered a Red Thai and got a more Penang vibe curry, though decent I did not want sweet coconut cream I wanted a clean easier to digest dish. Sisters Pad Thai was also just OK. Not sure what is going on with Thai restaurants in the last three years, either not having accessibility to ingredients or got lazy. The vibrant flavours of fresh lime, lime leaf or lemon grass are not coming through?

Had a really nice meal last night. Mixed Thai starters to share (quite generous portions), Pad Thai , Red Chicken Curry, Pineapple Rice, all really fresh and tasty. I see the decor is coming in for some criticism - it is an old pub, it has not been refurbished persee but cleaned up and it depends on whether you think that has charm or not (I personally like it). It does mean the vibe is less formal that a restaurant. Lovely friendly bar staff, food came up quick. Reasonably priced. I definitely will go back.

New pub which serves cracking Thai food. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. We went for the first time last night and were really impressed with the authentic and tasty food. Especially enjoyed the pad Thai and massaman curry. The menu had lots of options so will look forward to returning and trying a few more dishes!

A hidden gem in Greenwich, can't comment on the alcohol as I've never tried their drinks but the food is amazing. They make only a few dishes, but they make those well. We only ate here once at lunch time, during which the pub was quiet and very family friendly. We have since been ordering the food regularly as takeaway as we live locally, and you get a discount if you go and pick up the food yourself.

Excellent authentic house made Thai in a lovely old pub. This is a welcome addition to the East Greenwich dining scene - Good prices and everything we tried was excellent. Funky Thai-pop soundtrack and good service made the atmosphere complete. We will certainly return.

Read a lot of great reviews so decided to try it out - perhaps we were unlucky and went on an off day. All of the dishes we ordered lacked flavour. It seemed as though the curry and soups were watered down. We were really looking forward to a flavoursome and spicy dinner.

The service was quick, however, the food left a lot to be desired. We told them we felt the beef was a little dry and were advised that the Massaman is the best for beef and the others are all a little dry... The kind of advice you want when ordering, not when paying.

After taking over this closed down formerly chav infested, very rough pub the new Thai proprietors of this establishment have transformed the place into a Thai gastro pub with the emphasis of the food rather than the beer. The food is fantastic (especially the Thai version of lamb shank) and service was quick and efficient and there was a range of Thai, Czech and British beers as well as the obligatory Guinness choice. So to summarize. Great food, Good beer and great service. We will definitely be going back again sometime.

I am quite happy to recommend this brilliant authentic Thai restaurant. It remains true to its Thai origin & the service is with a smile. The staff is very enthusiastic & proud of its food & are happy to go over every little explanation. Had the Panang curry & tempura with som tum salad. It was delicious fresh & very fragrant. The food is the USP of this place & it is the star of the restaurant. I think the blue green bar gives a very exotic look to the place. Definitely will be back!!

Went for the first time this week and it won’t be the last. The staff were extremely pleasant and took the time to talk to everyone who was in the restaurant. The food was great, authentic (chef is Thai) and a lot of choices.

Good food at good prices. But during weekends, orders may take upto 1.5 hours. I've gone there thrice and they forgot my starters and got all my orders at least an hour late, if not more. They should hire more service staff to ensure that guests orders are taken on time and they aren't left waiting for their food for as long as an hour.

Had collect takeaway. Duck massaman - very tasty rich sauce, soft duck - potatoes not cooked in the sauce as they were not flavoursome. Lovely pad thai well flavoured (we asked for spicy) Tom sum salad very lovely but a little too pricy at 7.50£ ... 50p less than pad thai! The Thai prawn crackers are lovely touch - shame the white ones were in the bag really! Would definitely order again, not sure about sitting in as the lighting is very harsh.

Tasty Thai food with lovely service. Their corn fritter starters are amazing and could turn the most hard core carnivore into a vegetarian. The pad thai and green/red curries are also delicious. Service is friendly.
