We had Sunday lunch here. The food is delicious. Service is superb. A restaurant for neibourghood. They take care of their customers. Not like the ones in Greenwich town center, some come with very rude waiter/waitress as they are doing tourist/no return business. We liked The Hill very much.

My wife and I spent a lovely evening at The Hill on Saturday night enjoying great tapas, excellent service and great music from their live guitarist! When we arrived, we were welcomed and shown to our table, the service all through the night was very attentive and friendly. We bought a wide selection from the tapas menu and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, very well cooked and there was lots of it. We couldn't clear the table quick enough as the plates kept coming! What made the night perfect was the resident guitarist, Steve. He set just the right atmosphere and ambience and it was great to listen to some classic tunes from the likes of Pink Floyd, Dire Straights and other legends. It was great fun playing guess the tune with my wife! How nice it is to be somewhere listening to someone play live while we dine and relax. All in all, it was a great night and we'll be sure to be back another Saturday night soon.

Wonderful Ecuadorian food, plus pizzas and great cocktails. Really friendly owners /managers/staff too. We came for a family birthday and they put a sparkler in his dessert and sang happy birthday- it was really special. Would completely recommend.

Well, well, well! What a night this was! We were welcomed warmly and given a choice of inside or outdoors. We chose the outdoors. It’s a beautiful garden which seats at least 20-25 people. Very snug and spacious at the same time. It succeeds in creating an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. This is one of those spots that are hidden amongst the back streets of Greenwich and you feel honoured that you’ve discovered it. You also feel honoured that the service and food quality matches the mysticism of the place – in other words it is substance and style in one. Speaking of the service, we were waited upon by several members of staff and all are attentive and have that rare ability to be present when you need them and ‘aside’ when you are lost in the dazzling wonderment of present company. Emily in particular is cut from the classic Scholl of attentiveness: an excellent memory and ridiculously charming. Yes, this was a night to remember. T’was the 40th birthday for a friend of mine so the overall turnout was on me. I am a hero in their eyes. Do take the time to visit this place.

Had a lovely lunch here today. It was early so it was fairly quiet - the staff were really friendly, letting us enjoy our food and drinks and didn't rush us to order or get the bill. Other restaurants can be a bit pushy so this really made a difference - it was a nice, chilled out meal. Food was sooo tasty - the croquetas de jamon, bruschetta, gambas con ajillo and patatas bravas were exceptionally tasty. Looking forward to our next visit.

We drove an hour from Maidstone to visit this Restuarant as we heard great reviews and wasn’t disappointed. The Paella and Tapas was very good and the atmosphere was lovely with the help of an amazing guitarist playing a mixer of different songs

To enter a bright, warm Equadoran restaurant from heavy, cold rain is a pleasure in itself. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu looked interesting, with some old favorites (croquetas, ceviche, tamales) and some new. We went for croquetas to start, followed by a fantastic seabass dish, with mussels, cockles, squid and sauce, served with baby potatoes and, for me an interesting dish of shredded chicken in a spiced sauce. It was good food, well prepared and served and at a reasonable cost. It was hard to leave the cosy warmth and head out into the cold rain again.

Good tapas at a reasonable price. I came here with some colleagues and ordered quite a lot of tapas between us with a bottle of Tempranillo. The tapas was good - some really enjoyable dishes and some a bit more ordinary. We sat outside which added a bit of atmosphere - really though inside would probably have been nicer as the decor looked great. Not the cheapest, but pretty good value.

One of the first times dining in a restaurant since the pandemic and I have to commend the staff and team at this restaurant. Despite being after July 19th when most venues have relaxed all restrictions and precautionary measures, they kindly sat my group as far away from other diners as possible, at my request, setting up a table at the front just for us since it was too cold and wet to sit outside. The staff were masked, super courteous throughout and the perfect amount of attentive without feeling interruptive. The gentleman behind the bar was also lovely and made conversation with us from time to time. A really great experience. The food was also lovely, well presented and tasted good. Felt completely safe and at ease while dining. Would definitely come back for both the food and the service. Thank you to all the staff working tonight, and the one who took my booking and humoured my many anxious questions about COVID precautionary measures in place. It was a very pleasant and comfortable dining experience under the circumstances where I know many people have different views regarding the COVID and how necessary certain precautions are, I appreciated so much that they accomodated us and respected our requests and we were able to celebrate a small family birthday this way. Foodwise, I'd recommend the octopus and mushroom croquetas in particular. The fish cerviche was also pretty good.

The Hill is a real South London gem. Delicious authentic Latin American and Mediterranean food at decent prices, with a beautiful, vibrant, light-filled interior. They've made some changes to their menu post lockdown - all for the better! Try the empanadas and the tamales - they were real stand outs, though everything I tried was pretty excellent.

Food in general is nice. However the portions are incredibly small. We have ordered Spanish tortilla and they literally served a SINGLE slice for almost £7. The paella we have ordered is the smallest paella I’ve seen in my life (I would say not even enough for a small girl like me) and it was around £16. The environment is enjoyable but do not go there if you don’t want to spend loads of money and leave the place very hungry.

Great hidden gem. We booked in advance due to covid and wasnt disappointed at all. Wasnt too busy given a Thursday night. We had the cerviche dishes which were fab. hubby had the steak, I went for the pork. Being greedy we even managed pudding. Our dining experienced wasnt rushed and we were yhere for 2.5 hrs. It felt good to be dining again and even better outside in such fab weather along with supporting this little off track independent business. I would defo recommend this place. Am sure there is a dish for many pallets. Looking forward to booking again and this time we are gonna do the tapas dishes and after that will gibe their pizzas ago too.

It's one of my favourite places in London. Although it's located far from the center, this gem is definitely worth visiting. The main reason is the quality of food - it's always delicious and varied. I thought I should add a quick review because it is rare to find a real restaurant these days, unless you go to a Michelin stared one. Everything I had here was fresh and homemade, even down to the pasta, but a dining experience isn’t just down to the food, and the staff were friendly and attentive too. My friend and I enjoyed a good 3 hours dining experience here and we look forward to going back soon. The food was very reasonably priced and although the wines were a little pricey, there is a very nice selection to choose from.

The whole experience was one that I will definitely repeat. The service and quality of the food was of the highest level (they even cut my food into manageable slices for me). We held our son's wedding reception for 30 people on 20th August and we are so glad that he and his new wife chose this venue. The food and service were absolutely excellent. The attention to detail ie. Floral arrangements, table decoration was well thought out and the staff made sure everyone was well looked after. I would recommend The Hill to anyone considering a function (wedding party, christening party,or birthday party) Every single one of our guests enjoyed themselves and commented on how well everything was done. Without doubt, the best steak I ever had in London (try the Argentinian lomo). They also have good pasta and seafood, as well as a selection of good wines. Recommended for a romantic evening (folk guitar played live all evening when we were there).

A friendly family restaurant serving consistently great quality Mediterranean and South American food. This is a fantastic local stalwart with an extensive menu, including tapas, salads, pizza, pasta, steaks and glorious ceviche. There's usually a beautiful leg of creamy ibérico on the bar and a traditional selection of hearty wines. If you don't fancy eating in, they also do some of the best takeaway pizza in Greenwich.

The Hill has to be one of the best restaurants in Greenwich - everything we tried on their Spanish/Italian menu was perfect. I could have had five of the serrano ham croquetas that we started with, and the wild boar ragu with tagliatelle was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Staff were extremely lovely and quick to get us a table (even though we hadn't booked), plus the man playing Snow Patrol on his guitar was a nice touch. AND they have gluten free beer and pasta on the menu. Go here, eat lots and leave happy.
