Absolutely delicious authentic food. Wait staff were very accommodating and helpful. When we initially ordered they said they didn’t have any moussaka, however during a visit there they were making more and the waitress came out and told us that they had more that had been freshly made. She knew that we really wanted it and had gone out of her way to make sure that we had everything we wanted.

Good food, reasonably quickly. Odd but not off-putting decor. Each dish will arrive on a side plate, not a dinner plate, so you'll need two or three. Busy, and they can't all be wrong. You need to pre-book, don't just turn up; I'd go there again.

Fantastic west end location for pre-show dinner. They have this good deal for dinner set with 4 mezze (small dishes) for £14. They do have a 12.5% service change, so the total goes up significantly. Very nice hummus, tasty warm pita bread and spicy feta dip was yummy (looks weird, tastes great). Because of the location, it's almost impossible to come in and just grab a table for dinner - booking here is essential.

We found The Real Greek, a very short walking distance from Trafalgar Square. The restaurant is compact , warm and busy. Hadn't booked, but was able to get a table for three quite quickly. We were warned we only had an hour left, which seemed enough. All the dishes we chose had chicken in some form which was very moist (there were other alternatives ) We had hoped to have a dessert which looked good, but was told the kitchen had closed (9.00pm) - it would have been nice to have been asked if we would like anything else as the kitchen was about to close. The prices were reasonable considering the location and there is a 25% reduction with a student card.

10/10 for food. Fantastic food!! Best Greek food in Central London. But the only annoying thing is the cleanliness. There was a layer of dust on the chair, on the bottle of olive oil and also on the cutlery. Which is disgusting. But for food 10/10 again! Falafel's, tzatziki, is hummus Highly recommended for vegetarians. They should deep clean the restaurant.!! Would not go for dine-in but will order at home.

Visited this restaurant for lunch with work colleagues and we were all delighted with the quality and price of food, lunchtime specials for only £8.50. Located close to Leicester Square station there is plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans, good service from polite and welcoming staff, I went for the souvlaki wrap with Vegan Meatballs and Chips, colleagues went for the Rice Kebab and Bread option, would definitely return.

A heartbeat from Leicester Square and surrounded by London's theatres, The Real Greek has a lot of more widely known competition. Walk past them and head straight here; it's friendly, extremely welcoming, the food is simply stunning and the prices are not over inflated tourist-trapping levels! We popped in here before a show and despite not booking at 5.30 on a Saturday, we were found a table. The service was so friendly and polite. Smiling and conversational while remaining entirely professional throughout. Olives for starters may sound fairly 'normal' but these were delicious at a standard I'd not tasted since being in the Mediterranean. Real Greek! The pitas we ordered were packed with stunning ingredients, the most captivating flavours and are the type that make involuntary sounds come from your mouth when eating. Mmmmmm All washed down with a Mythos, whether you want to relive your recent (or perhaps not so) break in Greece or simply need a nice place to eat before a show, then The Real Greek is for you! Do not miss the opportunity. Lots of indoor and outdoor (partially covered) seating. Bathrooms are down stairs, underneath the restaurant but there is disabled access toilet on the main level.

Lovely choice of dishes and desserts. The set menu offered a wide variety of food to suit all tastes. Drinks were good with a wide choice and reasonably priced. Food was great and well cooked and presented for you. The only issue was with the portion size of the gorgeous baclava that I could have eaten at least four more times!! Have already looked into revisiting when we are next down in London and will try something new next time

I've eaten a few times at other Real Greek restaurants and the food is always good and waiting staff friendly. On this occasion the service was pretty poor. We'd booked and our table was ready, so that was great. But it took a very long time for the waitress to take our order (after I'd got her attention to come over) and then she didn't have a word to say, nor did she greet us or smile once. It was as if she really didn't want to be there. When the food arrived, one of our dishes was wrong; at other Real Greek's we've found the staff really helpful ; they often assist with pronunciation of the dishes, explaining what everything is when they bring it to the table. This waitress walked away after bringing our food and it was ages before we could get her attention to say that one of the dishes was wrong. (Again, she didn't speak or seem to acknowledge that this was the wrong food). We weren't offered opportinity to order more drinks or checked upon during our meal. The ambience in this restaurant was nice,and its in a good location for the theatres, but as it was a meal for a special birthday, was hoping for slightly more service with a smile.

At the very entrance it was gruff: probably the manager was not encouraging to come in. The service provided by Anastasia was good, it was nice without any problems. Delicious food, I have no complaints about it. The worst part was the atmosphere in the restaurant: the whole crew was somewhat tense. Due to the food I would highly recommend this place, due to the atmosphere caused by the host or manager I would definitely not recommend it, we were terribly rushed to ask to leave the restaurant as they are closing.

Saturday night visit, advise you to book. Nice menu, easily found a selection for vegetarians. Optional service charge, but staff worked well as a team, which made it worth it. Lost one star as the greek salad had a total of 2 olives!

The Monday to Friday lunch deal is very good value. The menu options are initially rather bewildering; you can choose from one of four different menus - 3 course mezze, wraps etc plus accompaniment, Greek meals or Vegan. We were a group of 4 and 2 of us had Greek meals, one a wrap and one mezze, which can then be shared out. Pleasant, quite intimate atmosphere, clean and light with friendly and efficient service.

Definitely a very average experience at The Real Greek. We visited at lunch with friends. We ordered some souvlaki wraps which arrived room temperature and they really lacked any taste or flavour. The Greek salad was nice but again was underwhelming. The spicy feta dip was nice. The service was decent. Overall I don’t think I’d return to this restaurant.

Not bad, but not great. Went with a friend a little while back, got some cocktails and the lunch set menu. Food arrived very quick and staff were lovely, but room in this specific branch was very dark. Cocktails were very watery and couldnt even taste the prosecco in the aperol spritz and bellini, food was mediocre, like nothing stood out as bad but also wouldn’t return tbh, meat was dry. Not the worse place but wouldn’t be a place I’d recommend to a friend.

Visited London a couple of months ago and found this gem of a restaurant, a busy Sunday afternoon but they fitted us in without a reservation, service was friendly and efficient and the food was fantastic. We each had the souvlaki wraps with sides, these were gorgeous and the best Greek food I’d had since a holiday on Corfu many years ago. Highly recommend here and booked to return this weekend. We consistently had to track down our server. He didn’t really check on us… at all. We never got our water for the whole table. Dishes piled up on the table the entire time until late in the meal the manager (who happened to be walking by) asked if we would like some plates removed. Took a long time to order and pay the bill though the food came out fast after ordering. With a few small detail adjustments this could easily be five stars.

We just had a terrific delivery lunch from this place! The packaging was great, every dish was fresh and cool where it should be a warm where it should be. There was nothing of the 'this looks & tastes like take out' about it. OK, we had the dolmades which were tasty and traditional; the spinach tiropitakia which is a cool deep-fried take on traditional spanokopita; the gigandes white beans & spinach (great to spoon on top of their flatbread; and the chicken monastiraki, an excellent mix of chicken, marinated with herbs, & served with tzatziki, onion and tomatoes. Thye also have a nice selection of greak wines. Can't wait to eat there in person next time!

All of this for £40! Amazing value for money, we had to take a doggy bag home with us as we couldn’t fit it all in. Halloumi Popcorn was incredible with the honey sauce, loved the meatballs and the hummus was fresh.

We chose one of their set menus (which also gives you choices within it) and it came served on a cake stand like afternoon tea. £38 for one of the set menus and we were thoroughly full afterwards! Firstly the food is to die for! Fresh,piquant, high quality lovely Greek food, with good medium sized menu. Service is fantastic, book before you go as this is a centre London venue and gets heaving. Says a a lot about it's popularity! There are other branches over London too, the Covent garden one is smaller but as lovely,again book !! I thought the food was just so so. We were looking for a quick lunch and bottle of wine while on vacation and the menu look appealing. My wife had the chicken (so so) and I had the lamb. The lamb was marginal and frankly under cooked. The wine was pretty good, but I would take a pass on this place in lieu of so many better options nearby.

The staff is very friendly. The place is romantic enough at night to bring a date but casual enough to drop in for a quick bite. The food is very fresh, and the hot plates are very hot. The price is among the best value in the neighborhood for the high quality of food.

LOVED this place! We walked in after a very lousy dinner at Latium and asked for a table (New Year's Eve, we're talking). They were buzzing, but the manager got us a table, feeling for us and our bad dinner experience. We had a couple of desserts (baklava and yogurt with walnuts/syrup) with mint tea. All delicious. Myself and my daughter popped in for lunch. Initially everything was fine.... staff were lovely, very warm and friendly. We placed our order... and waited. After a period of time the Manager advised us there had been a mixup with out order and apologised profusely as did the waitress who made the mistake. From our perspective that was adequate! Things happen! The important thing is that they communicated with us! Our food came and it was lovely! We really enjoyed it! We then also had a dessert... again lovely!!!! Asked for the bill and we were told because of the error it was free!!! I will confess to being shocked as I really wasnt expecting that!!! We shall be back! Real Greek is a great Greek restaurant tucked away in this little London side street. You can pass it by easily as it's a really slim fronted place. The menu is wide and covers a whole range of different options, including meat, vegan and vegetarian. If you like Greek, this is one of the best restaurants you can visit. Decent prices too, for Central London.
