We attended an info event for the 2019 SA elections last night. This is a great Saffa shop with all the SA products usually missed! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We tasted some of their boerie rolls and biltong and koeksisters - all delicious!! They have a huge range of SA products, including Pronutro, Mrs Balls Chutney and Cartwright's Curry Powder. The shop is unusually spacious for London. It felt like in SA! We'll be back!

Essentially specialising in biltong, (in various guises), braaipacks, boerewors, a dabble of ‘branded’ SAfrican foodstuffs, wines and collaterals. While the biltong, pitched at a credible price, is commendable and likely to satisfy even hardcore aficionados, the damp ‘droe-wors’ here consistently disappoints.* A representative selection of SAfrican beers and wines across cultivar, variety and price point. I veld the staff were reasonably product conversant and helpful. *possibly due to humidity?

I love this place. I mainly order for delivery (boerewors straight to your door, incredible, I know) but I pop by the physical stores when I’m in the area. Their biltong is incredible, best I’ve found in this country anyway. If you need a taste of home and wish to reconnect via foods, this is the place to go Saffas! Lekker!

Went with a South African buddy of mine as he wanted to grab a few bits. Excellent staff and the food we had (sadly only the London Bridge breach does hot food) was really very good and about the same price as a Burger King meal. Would certainly recommend if you are in the area.

For all food things SA this is your place. Even found Durban curry mix with spices in separate sachets so you know exactly how much of what to add when. Farmstyle Boerwurst not to be beaten. Friendly staff, any food questions just ask. More varieties of biltong than anywhere else too.

A little home away from home in the heart of London. Delicious biltong and droewors as well as other South African delicacies and crafts. They’ve recently set up tables in the sunshine so you can enjoy a boerewors roll and drink. Would highly recommend!

If you're a fan of beautifully spiced biltong and sausages this is the place for you. The Shakalaka sausage in particular is a favourite of mine and my fridge is frequently stocked with it. There's a smaller Savanna in Victoria but this one has a little cafe in it so you can eat-in. A unique little spot.

I am from South Africa moved to London last year. I couldn’t recommend going anywhere else but the Savanna for your meat and biltong! The staff at London bridge always make me feel like I’m back at home getting ready for a braai! I would suggest getting all your braai supplies from the Savanna every time!

Lovely little shop and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. I tried biltong for the first time as he gave me a piece to try. And I’m glad I did! We’ll be back for more and they do a great selection of sauces, crisps and meat. Seating outside so nice to sit with coffee and watch the world go by.

Good shop for the homesick Saffa, or for someone wanting to try something different. Can't leave without a bag of biltong. Got all the staples and a excellent collection of South African wines and beers. So if you need Boerewors, Simba Chips and some Windhoek beers for the braai this is the place.

Most of the items available are authentic, and as such great quality. The assistant was very friendly and helpful. However, some of the sweet treats are imported from Australia rather than South Africa, and of much much lower quality, such as the 'Caramello Koala'.

Now serving cooked meals although the variety of products is drastically minimised in comparison to what they used to stock. Since they can no longer import chocolates from SA the only drawing card left is their expensive biltong which is at least made locally.

The Savanna stores are famous for their wide range of South African products including good quality meat and boerewors. This flagship store also has a huge selection of South African wines and is the only store to offer cooked food to eat there or take away. Pop in for your biltong fix or grab a boerie roll when passing by. Definitely worth a visit.

Previously went past The Savanna when I took the tube at Wimbledon which specializes in biltong. At the London Bridge branch, it is bigger and better serving food as well. Think of it like South African charcuterie!

Simply the best meat in London. Every time I have a bbq (braai) I stop here for their steak and wors. They even braaiied(?) some steak, chicken and wors rolls for my office lunch. A lot of happy people in the office!
