This place is not just a wine bar/restaurant. This place is more than that. If you are looking for a party venue, this is the place. Great, convenience and safe location for you and your guests, wines are of course very nice, but foods also phenomenal, service…? Doesn’t matter when you visit, the service is high quality constantly. The event manager is very helpful. We had our wedding in Nov, and it was a speechless. Not just us enjoyed the day at Vinoteca, our guests don’t stop talking about how great & lovely looking the venue was, service was extremely high standard & what an amazing tasty foods they had for our wedding breakfast. The journey of organizing our big day with the event manager was so smooth, stress free, supportive and she made us feel very special throughout. Words cannot be described the amazing time we all had. You must just try this place!

Nice wine bar with some genuinely nice organic wines! Has a good atmosphere. I'd recommend making a booking if you can as it seems to get pretty booked up (we went on a Thursday evening). We managed to get a seat for two people, just had to wait a little, at the edge of the room. Lots of nice small plates as well as main dishes.

Not very busy when I arrived. The trout was tasty if a little dry. The coq au vin delicious once I had used some of the bread to soak up the sauce. The best bits were the crumble and the wine. Will be back to try some of the extensive wine list.

Good food, good wine, but staff spread too thin to provide adequate insight into wine selections and menus. Very much a busy location, great for post work meals but you get what you expect in the City. Staff could do with being more dedicated to their sections. Unfortunate experience with a waiter walking headfirst into me and then giving me a dirty look. Supervisor very kind and doing damage control but offered very little except “I guess you didn’t see each other”. Would return for convenience and likelihood of high staff turnover, but don’t love the current staff experience.

Good food for good value. I went with some colleagues from work for lunch. We had the set menu with three courses. Good portions and nice presentation. We also had a bottle of wine and a dessert. All for roughly £20. Quick service. The interiors and the atmosphere are quite elegant too.

Beautiful restaurant that's easy to get to, wonderfully attentive and strives to provide amazing food and wine. I can't fault it. It's a modern, urban homage to French cuisine, with excellent essentials like coq au vin and wonderful bottles from Burgundy and Beaujolais to go with it. There's much more besides, but if you're a fan of the classics, you'll find them served up with a twist that makes them utterly modern here at Vinoteca, alongside a wine list that requires a full pamphlet. Wonderful stuff. 10/10.

I booked Vinoteca City (private dining room) for my husband's surprise 40th birthday party. I am delighted I did. During the planning phase, the private room managers (Alix and Elisabetta) were helpful, attentive and responded promptly. I tried to book many restaurants before Vinoteca City but found Vinoteca City most receptive to my ideas. The private room sits up to 42, they have a projector, music system and a microphone. The service team was very attentive, quick and responsive. The food was sumptious, hot and was served on time. Loved the wine too. I was also allowed to bring in decorations and my choice of #tablescape (covers, flowers, napkins). They also provided customised menu plans and name cards. I would definitely use Vinoteca city for a private dining event again.

Good Sunday Slow Roast Rump of Beef & Horseradish served with Roast Potatoes, Chantenay Carrots, Swede Puree, Savoy Cabbage, a crispy Yorkshire Pudding & Gravy. My partner had the tasty house made New Season Leek, Ricotta & Pine Nut Filo Pie. We shared the Autumn Eton Mess for dessert and would come back for a Sunday evening live electronic jazz from 6-8pm. Had a nice dinner on a busy Thursday here. They have a nice menu with different dishes to choose from to suit everyone's tastes. The grilled halloumi with vegetables was delicious and the cod with peas was not bad either, but both could do with a side. The service was very good, attentive and swift.

A pleasant brasserie and wine bar in the heart of the Bloomberg arcade next to Cannon Street. Vinoteca is a large wine bar and restaurant that offers good continental dishes. The lamb was succulent and delicious as were all of the desserts. Easy to book groups in and superb and attentive service.

I've been a few times and they've never disappointed. Perfect for after work or even a date. Great food at a very reasonable price. They were also very accommodating when a friend ordered a dish that wasn't off the menu. Also a great selection of wine and they will help you to choose the correct bottle for your meal.

Excellent. We had a private dinner and it was great. Easy to book, menus with personalised heading, fantastic and helpful staf, good food, great selection of wines from accross the globe. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon and the Truffle Arancini. Service was really well organised and food was served timely which is great when having a large group. Finally got here Have been waiting to eat and drink here for a while but the pandemic put paid to that so today myself and my good friend finally got the chance to dine here. It was a lovely sunny day and it was such a shame that it was nearly empty. Social distancing and all covid regulations were spot on. We booked the private room for a small wedding reception after the ceremony on a Saturday. We and the guests were very happy with the service we received both during the evening and in our communication with the management beforehand. The food was good, great selections of wines and the staff were extremely helpful to accommodate our requests. They have very modern equipment - projector with space for laptops and sonos speakers where you can play the music from your phone to the room speakers. Definitely recommend. I'm a huge fan of all the Vinoteca family, but the City branch is particularly good. Delicious, hearty European cooking in a beautifully airy, light and welcoming space. My little boy (aged 5) was made to feel like a prince when we visited for lunch this last Saturday - the staff were all so kind, attentive and hospitable. So much so, we were still there past 5pm. Our new favourite weekend lunch spot.

Amazing wine list , they own a wine shop were you can buy and take home some lovely bottles that possibly you've tried during dinner. They run an amazing and convenient set menu, one of the best I've personally seen, 2 or 3 courses for an amazing prize and included in the prize you'll receive 3 mini wine glasses that you can enjoy during courses. I loved the experience , service and athmosfere was brilliant, all my friends walked out happy and satisfied. Well done 😉😍

Initial thoughts weren't great as the first member of staff told us there were no tables for two available and when we asked if we could just sit at the bar and have a cheese board there she told us they didn't "do takeaway". We still wanted to give the place a go though so left and walked around to a different entrance where we were greeted by a different member of staff who was able to immediately seat us at a table without us even having to grumble about our previous interaction. Meat and Cheese board itself along with the wine were all good quality and reasonably priced.

Decent food and great service. The music was nice and not loud. We had the 2 course dinner, £25 each, a couple coffee beverages, 2 alcoholic beverages (wine tasting board included in the price)...plus 12.5 gratuity included in the bill, so just over £100 for 2 people. I ordered the Serloin and it was overcooked to well-done. Maybe that is common, but I was not very pleased with it as I am used to medium-rare, at the very least, to medium at most, but it did have good flavor. My wife had the porchetta and she was pleased with the flavor..but, the cut had only a few bites of meat and the rest was fat. Porchetta is naturally fatty, we do understand that, but this was a bit much. It is very quiet in the restaurant and not busy during brunch/lunch. I don't think I will be returning because of the price and quality of food.

Great fun wine bar and restaurant in London’s financial district. Wonderful wine slection for all different palates. Staff is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. There is a retail store available as well. I’ll be in London on business for a month and this has become my favorite wine bar in the area. Spent many months installing the electrics In this restaurant, come back after it had been open a few months for a few drinks and had the warmest welcome by one of the owners (charlie) and the staff I had met during the build. Lovely atmosphere and great staff, frederico, Mateus and Luigi are so welcoming and made a fuss of my girlfriend on her birthday. Would really recommend for food or even just a glass of wine! Have been multiple times for business lunches or quick lunch with friends. If you're in the area (most likely for work), give it a go as the food is well above average (fish is always well prepared and very simple but tasty), and the wine choices are interesting.

Situated diagonally across from Cannon Street train/tube station, Vinoteca is new to the area. There is a large selection of wines and a good variety on the menu, though I have to admit that we only went in for a snack: the monkfish and steak starters were very good.
