My god this was good food
This was the first time l've been to one of the jolene/primeur/ westerns laundry restaurants, and it blew us away. Such a cosy little building too
Started with crispy little Pollock beignets with some of the most delicious aioli I've experienced
Super soft roast carrots with sheep's curd. Basically light whipped feta. Salt, fatty, tasty, good The softest piece of cod I've ever eaten, coated in brown butter with capers and perfectly cooked pink fir potatoes
Then one of the strangest dishes I've had, in the best way. Cuttlefish fideo pasta with a massive dollop of ailo. Rich, creamy pasta with tender little cuttlefish tentacles on top
Finished with a whole rabbit leg that fell off the bone, on pomme puree, topped with girolles, bacon, and load of mustard. The potato was 50% butter, the way it should be. We originally ordered the cod roe dish, but just after we ordered, the onglet ran out and they replaced it with the rabbit leg, so grabbed a man and changed it to this, very glad did
Highly recommended

Lovely place in a residential street. Lovely menu. Makes you want to try all the dishes. Is it worth paying the biggest amount I ever paid in London? Nope

First of all, booked a table for two via open table, marked birthday celebration. However, when we got there, most of the tables are basically on sharing basis and tables are quite full…Our table was split in 4 sides, it was a bit awkward to be honest.. Food is alright, quite interesting for the cuttle fish pasta dish. No birthday celebration was mentioned to us but I rather celebrate elsewhere so ended up not raising this issue to the server.
Guess you will need to mention this specifically to the restaurant you want a non sharing table and the additional request (such as birthday celebration) during their phone confirmation. To be fair, sharing table is not a good approach during Covid time.

This is my ideal restaurant with their daily changing menu and smaller sharing plates so that I can try more dishes 😋

Wheelchair access ♿✔️ - Converted from a launderette, it's all on one level with RADAR access toilets 👍

This place is a bit inconspicuous against the residential buildings, but it's a hidden gem. Staff are absolutely wonderful

We were sat on a table with a couple who seemed blissfully unaware that they were in a public place and were all over each other and although that's not the restaurants fault, it could have been a bit less awkward if the table set up was different.
The food was fine, some dishes were quite good but overall I don't think it's worth the price and it very much comes across as having a bit of a cult following based on the customers filling the place at the time we were there. I will say though that the setting is unassuming and the decor and lighting is perfect.

We had the most magical, wonderful, delicious meal at Westerns Laundry. The food was to die for, the lighting/atmosphere/noise levels were all spot on, and the service was impeccable.
I'd like to give an extra special shout out to bossman/sommelier/wine enthusiast Zander, who gave us some fantastic recommendations for wine pairings and was just generally a lovely person to chat to in between courses. Thank you for making our night so special!

One of my favourite local places. The team are always very warm and welcoming. A daily changing menu with a seafood focus and great wine selection.

We love this place. It's great for a romantic dinner or a nice evening work friends. The menu changes almost daily but there are always options for meat, seafood, pasta, veggies etc.
And all the ingredients feel fresh and really good quality. The place is almost always full of people, and buzzing, but the vibe is great. You will most probably be seated in a sharing table but it never feels non intimate. You can also request being seated in a few two people tables that they have, just request it return making a reservation :)
