We had a great experience at Yeni in Soho. Each dish is crafted with a lot of thought and has depth of flavours and pairings you would never expect. We tried many different dishes and none disappointed. Don’t skip on dessert either! Keep in mind that the kitchen closes at 2:15 for lunch so if you don’t want to be rushed to put in an order book an earlier table.

Amazing food, great vibe and friendly, efficient service, loved Yeni.
Wasn’t sure what to expect at first as hadn’t had Turkish fusion before but everything we had, specially the non-meat dishes, was great (and I say this being an eager meat eater). They had a strong selection of wine by the glass as well, including delicious Turkish and Eastern European varieties.
Food wise highlights were the bread and butter - unmissable as freshly made in oven right there - dumplings in yogurt, the broccoli and grapefruit salad, the aubergine and the rice pudding. We also had the lamb which wasn’t bad but nothing to do with the others in terms of original yet incredible flavours.
Great for a casual and fun dinner, the kitchen overlooks the tables which makes for a great ambience.
Hope to be back!

Such a wonderful experience.. Food, service, atmosphere, very friendly staff. What more can one ask for!! We were a large table from different cultures. All of us were extremely happy.. If I need to explain our experience with one word..would be ''exquisite..'' will definitely book again and again..

This place deserves more ratings. The decor is basic and simple but the ambience feels relaxing. The services are good, friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the tasting menu, very reasonable priced with 10 dishes. We were too full after finishing. My favourite were the prawn and vine leaves tempura and the scallops. I like their tava bread too. The dumplings were one of their signature but I found it bit salty. The lamb was delicious. Definitely a good spot to explore in Soho.

Loved it,
Almost every single dish was amazing.
The dumplings and the prawn rolls are definitely the best things on the menu.
Beetroot is great! Citrus salad is super fresh!
Aubergine is meh and so is the lamb.
Kadahif Malabi dessert is the best on the menu and the best malabi I’ve ever had.
Will def go again

In for a memorable experience! Mouth bursting flavors in every dish on the menu
Friendly and welcoming staff
Would definitely visit again for the slow cooked lamb
P. G.
We had the opportunity to visit this place. The personnel was very attentive and polite. We tried the courgette flowers which was an amazing dish with a unique flavour. Then we had the aubergine with almonds. This dish was a mixture of traditional roasted aubergine with French cheese. Then we had the salad which wasn't great (not everyone can be perfect right? ). The 2 best dishes though came at the end. The dumplings and the lam. These 2 dishes were incredibly nice and scored in my belly 10/10 from the presentation to the tenderness of the meat. Overall the place is beautiful marriage of modern cousine with traditional Turkish cousine. Would recommend it 100%.
P.S. I have attached all the pictures of the place I described.

we had the opportunity to give their vegan tasting menu a try just before the pandemic hit. the highlight of our dining experience was the last bit they had served as a dessert filled and topped with pistachios - it’s called “katmer” which is a Turkish delicacy from the city of Gaziantep. i really liked how they served it in a circular shape rather than folding it like they traditionally do in South East Turkey. with coconut ice cream served on top, the taste was truly divine!
having said that, Yeni definitely lacked some creativity, especially for a restaurant of that caliber. although we were quite satisfied with the vegan tasting menu in terms of its commitment to Turkish cuisine, it felt like they somehow weren’t able to put their own spin on certain dishes such as bulghur fritters or manti dumplings. the variety of vegan options they had was not bad overall but surely needs improvement.
also, on a slightly different note, we wondered if they had anything to do with the Yeni restaurant in Istanbul -since we’re originally from Turkey and have dined there before- and asked the guy who served us, Devin, and his response was unexpectedly rude. later on, we found out that the head chef Civan Er is also the owner of that restaurant back in Istanbul. i don’t know if the guy just had a bad day but the interaction we had with him certainly wasn’t pleasant. he didn’t even bother to give us a brief description of the menu or his recommendations, which shouldn’t be unusual for him to do. next time, i think he should be more mindful of his attitude towards the customers.
all in all, this place deserves some recognition.

Food and service was exceptional! The beef dumplings were out of this world - so much flavor- get them!! The lamb too! Their bread starter was also amazing. The dessert was rice pudding with some vanilla kind of cotton candy and the Turkish coffee is a must. The wait staff was super kind and attentive and atmosphere was perfect, not too loud and exquisite decor. Will be returning.

What an absolute feast! Every single dish was so flavorful, beautiful and unique. Turkish food at its best, which stays true to tradition but pushes it forward. No Adana kebabs but the Adana cocktail is amazing. No pistachio baklava but the pistachio gelato (98% pistachio!) is heavenly. And not pictured because we devoured it too quickly is the prawn and vine leaf tempura with tarama. Would recommend every single dish and will definitely come again!
As for the atmosphere - from the moment you step through the door you feel transported. The space is lovely and the service is the most courteous and genial I’ve ever encountered - thank you Ergin for your kind hospitality!

I had lunch at Yeni last Thursday. The food was fabulous, we had an array of different starter dishes and main courses. Meat, vegetable and fish, each dish was unique, the food that this exceptional restaurant offers far surpasses any other restaurant that I have eaten in the past 10 years both in taste and fusion of ingredients.
I would also add that prices are very competitive, they have a set any 2 sharing menu at £18 per person and any 3 sharing menu at £24.
The service was attentive and very responsive, I could not fault Yeni, a true "Gem" of a restaurant in London.
J. B.
A really delicious lunch – Turkish fusion really works. The salad, dumplings (superb fermented yogurt sauce), and lamb and duck were great. Service good too. But the highlight was the bread. So good. Could eat it endlessly.

A nice, modern restaurant with a unique twist on Turkish cuisine. The food is interesting and tasty, however the portions are very small considering the price, even for Soho. We were warned about this in advance by one of the waiters.
The staff are friendly and helpful but could be more considerate as certain requests were misconstrued and we ended up having to pay for 2 pots of tea between just 2 people, even after asking to send one back, which was rather baffling. When asked for 2 Turkish teas, I feel that any other Turkish restaurant would bring 2 cups with one pot. Overall, the food was nice and is worth trying if you want to experience a different kind of Turkish food. However, I do feel that there is better value for money to be had in the area and London is also full of excellent Turkish restaurants that don’t cost an arm and a a leg.
E. M.
Very memorable experience! The most gracious host was able to accommodate us despite my error in the reservation. The food was a contemporary twist and absolutely delicious. Coupled with the warm and friendly service, we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our special reunion. Heartful thank you to the staff!
A. B.
I had a very enjoyable group dinner with the tasting menu— I lost count of the number of courses, but it was a surprising amount across small and main plates. I grew up with Armenian and Levant foods, so I found it cool to see a modern take on classics, like manti and even rice pudding. The front of house staff was super friendly and handled dietary needs with ease, explaining each dish as it came out. And I enjoyed that the space sits between large windows looking out onto the street and the open kitchen in the back. All in all, a great and unexpected find in the middle of Soho!
G. C.
Loving the food, loving the concept. Their food has the Turkish taste I know with some British ingredients and a modern twist.
Their Mantı is the best I had in a long time. Most of the dishes I tried in my two visits were full of flavor. If you're with a group just order bunch of dishes and share between yourselves. You wouldn't regret. (Do this especially for their desserts, my personal favorite is the kadayıf that comes with pistachio ice-cream)
Т. Х.
Pleasant dinner with Turkish dishes with some small modern twists. The ingredient quality is relatively good and the prices are a bit above average. The service felt warm and hospitable but not very organized.
B. A.
Absolutely delicious food all round. Nicely presented.
Friendly atmosphere.
Only a couple of small irks. A little pushy on alcohol upselling and I concur with other reviewers about portion sizes. The lamb, which I think was about £20, consisted of some rather miserly slices. Tasty though.
Lastly, we didn’t receive one order and the main man suggested we didn’t know what it looked like so how did we know we hadn’t received it! The bloody cheek!
Apart from the minor issues - I’d recommend for some very unusual flavours that you won’t find in many places.
👍🏻

You couldn’t ask for a better experience in London. Forget what they say about “English Food.” This olace redefines cuisine. The food will touch your soul and stay in your memories. You’ll impress your friends, coworkers, and loved ones bringing here. The management and service are impeccable. Just be sure to order the dumplings, the scallops the beets, the…basically everything. You won’t be disappointed.
H. Z.
Absolutely amazing!
Since the first lockdown I have. tried a lot of restaurants, and quality and flavour in general has gone down a lot. But what a surprise this place was, not one dish that wasn't outstanding. Light and fresh dishes, beautifully prepared, incredibly tasty, service was very good and prices are really good value. An absolute gem! Will be back soon
S. Y.
Great food and Turkish wines! We came as a group of 6 (and a baby) and had nearly everything on the menu to share.
The beetroot, manti dumplings, and scallops were favorites, but would skip the beef pastırma next time. We'll definitely be back!
L. S.
The food was delicious, especially the manti.
A bit pricey for the quantity, in line with the sharing plate trend in London, but still accessible.
Talking about sharing plates: you do not need to come to the table and give the cliché explanation to customers. I almost burst out laughing when the waiter played line by line what I had told my friend he would say:
"Have you dined with us before? No? Let me explain the menu to you then. This is a sharing plates menu, food will come for the whole table and can be shared between you. I recommend you order 4 to 5 plates per person." Note: 'sharing plates' is written everywhere on the menu... I can read, thanks.
We ordered 4 total for the two of us and we were fine...
C. K.
Great & delicious experience for Turkish cuisine with a modern and delicate touch. We have enjoyed our friend's birthday and service was also outstanding. Thank you Yeni & Chefs for this amazing night. We'll definitely visit again soon.
S. D.
I thought the menu was well balanced with a good selection of dishes.
The restaurant is a Modern twist on Turkish food. The service was quite slow with 2 guys managing around 15 tables.
Some of the dishes were quite tasty but others were pretty average.
The good ones were the lamb shank. Fish stew and dumplings were average.
Prepare to spend £30 per person without alcohol.
D. T.
Excellent service. Our waiter was very friendly and provided great service.
The food was delicious.
We had the tasting menue which gave us chance to try different dishes from the menue.
The highlights of the night was the aubergine dish.
The red Turkish wine we ordered was strong but amazing.
We were slightly disappointed with deserts thought. We found the salted caramel panacotta with pumpkin boring and the flavours were not matching somehow...
Overall excellent experience.
S. H.
Superb. Our extra chatty waiter promised us an amazing food evening. He wasn't wrong. Highly recommended - not massive portions but everyone was truly excellent
D. C.
You can tell that a lot of thought and creativity goes into each dish. Classic Turkish tastes are unapologetically deconstructed and then pieced back together with very surprising twists. Some dishes were a little too experimental for me but overall a great experience. Make sure to order the Manti as it is their signature dish and an absolute delight to your taste buds. For cocktail lovers get yourself an Adana which is the restaurants take on the famous kebab.
R. F.
A contemporary twist on Turkish cuisine. Excellent in every way. You’ll wish the manti portion size were bigger - I’d happily eat that for several days in a row.
A. S.
Nice atmosphere and decent service but even considering the area, I must say it’s style over substance. Really mediocre, pretentious, overpriced Mediterranean/Turkish food😅
L. J.
Great tasting menu! Such good value for money for what you get. Delicious bread, served warm, could not get enough!
T. R.
This is the real deal: cool vibe, yes it’s noisy and it’s meant to be but you can hear each other. What sets this place apart is an original menu, which presents itself beautifully in sharing plates - ask the staff for their help, whilst the menu is small it has proper variety across vegetarian, meats and fish. The deserts are the only misnomer: whilst every dish up to that point is perfectly proportioned, you will be whammed with a desert which frankly two people would do well to finish. I would suggest one desert between 3-4 people, but please give Yeni a go - original, friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is London’s Soho at its best.
D. B.
We know Yeni from their restaurant in Turkey which was very nice as well. Yeni Soho is a modern touch to many traditional Turkish food. Yeni proves that Turkish cuisine offers way more than kebabs. We tried:
- Adana (cocktail): Very nice blend of passion fruit, spice and mezcal. 5/5
- Tava bread with butter: Really tasty warm Turkish "naan" bread with homemade butter. 5/5
- Turkish Dumplings(Mantı): This is probably the best mantı I've had in a restaurant. The tahini, yoghurt and tomato puree mixture tastes amazing. 5/5
- Squash blossoms: 5/5
- Roasted eggplant with dried fruits and nuts: 5/5
- Scallops: 5/5
- Duck with chickpeas: 4/5
Overall everything was very nice and I highly recommend Yeni for anyone that wants to try tasty and different food!
b.
It was a great experience. We ordered aubergene, citrus salad and lamb. All of them were delicious. Adana was the star or the night!
Price/performans is very good. Portions are good.
J. Q.
We had the 10 course tasting menu and we enjoyed all of it. The food was high quality, exciting and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
T. D.
Enjoyed eating here, the space it self is great, good mix of big and small tables, friendly fast service. For a Turkish restaurant surprised to learn only one Turkish staff member on shift that night though. Big mix of food with a defiant Turkenglish feel, you won’t be disappointed but not going to get your Turkish comfort food here. Great choice of wine at all price points. Will echo others a little on the pricey side but not crazy for Soho. Look forward to heading back. You won’t leave hungry.
S. S.
Delicious Turkish food and hospitality. Could be the best we’ve ever tasted. Chef on top form and charming service. And NOT part of a chain of a chain.
E. S.
There's finally a Turkish restaurant that I'd truly and proudly recommend in London. Every dish had portalled me back to a different region/time in Turkey (eg Yeni Mantı had reminded me of my mum's şişberek, which requires ultimate precision in cooking process. It's very hard to get a double fermented yogurt dish right!). Yeni Soho undoubtedly belongs to Michelin starred restaurants list. Well done!
D. B.
My new favourite soho restaurant, and what a restaurant it is. The service is perfect and the food is some of the best Turkish food I’ve ever had. Love love love. You must go.
M. K.
Great restaurant, wonderful atmosphere, superb chefs and very friendly staff. It is a must-try. I recommend you to have the tasting menu, great value. Particularly noteworthy is the "manti" (beef dumplings).
s. b.
The best Turkish Restaurant in town.
Loved everything I have tasted,
if have to choose my favourites ones,
which would be;
manti dumplings and aubergine dish.
Loved my wine kavaklidere prestige
Waiters and the chef Cihan Er were very friendly, helpful and hands on…
Strongly recommended 👍
H. A. M.
The original Yeni Lokanta is Istanbul has won many awards. The one in London unfortunately misses the mark. The food lacks the taste and flavour you would expect from a Turkish cuisine. My rating is Good.
Service is also ok but disjointed sometimes.
G. S.
I went there with a friend to try the set menu.
Please go hungry because it is a non stop of delicious food and you want to try it all.
Loving the relaxed vibe of the place and friendly staff.
d. b.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and service definitely you should try the manti dumplings and the grilled aubergine. Definitely recommend it.
B. G.
My third time at Yeni and I just have to sing it's praises. Chef Civan Er is a genius. As I arrived I had a small wave of sadness. Knowing that the menu changes often, Yeni means new and the chef is always reinventing Turkish food, I was a bit sad that I might miss out on my favourites. But no, the dishes I craved were still there in amongst the new. You will thank me forever if you take my advice to try the Manti dumplings. I think this is a standard Anatolian family dish and it looks bland but it has been transformed into pure culinary bliss. The updated menu looked so good we had to have the tasting version which presents the best of the day but we made sure we each had a bowl of Manti. Silence descended as we savoured our Manti in reverance. Each mouthful takes you away for a moment to another, better place. l felt like I should put up one of those blue plaques used to mark out the great and the good. It could say that here in this simply decorated restaurant in noisy Soho there is a bowl of food that is a portal to the great beyond. My other favourites were there. The citrus salad whose ingredients should never work together but triumph in a way that makes you question what you thought you knew about salad. The aubergine with figs and port that also deserves cult status: a few shrines maybe to help lost souls find meaning. Of the newer dishes we found that the lamb and the scallops with some kind of nutty paste both create this kind of levitating feeling you get at Yeni. Also the prawn tempura that is unlike any I have tasted before and so delicious we were again speechless for those moments of rapture. Our waiter was a delight too, full of enthusiasm, warmth and knowledge. I love the simplicity of the place which enhances the modesty and the integrity at Yeni. Let the food and the followers do the talking. Spread the word.

Fantastic, super awesome restaurant, with best food, best service, and best vibe.
Would I go back? Hell yeah!!!
Why? Because this was simply theeeee best dining experience I had in London (and I've been to London, to experience the food over 7,8 times)
I've been to many of the it places and they were disappointing, but Yeni not only was the bear experience I had in london, probably one of the top 10 food experiences I had overall in my life.
That is how food should be.... it speaks to your soul!
So where do I even begin? Somewhere between the outstanding service, awesome staff, tastiest food ever, and theeee best cocktail I've ever had, (and of course the gorgeous decor and awesome atmosphere), I can only give Yeni 10 out of 5!
I highly recommend this place, even if you are not a foodie, this would be a dining experience you'll most likely always remember in your lifetime.
So here is what I ordered:
1) Snow pea salad with green apple, yogurt and mint.
This wasn't something I was going to order but the bar tender so kindly recommended it and it tuned out to be my most fav dish of the night. It was absolutely amazing.... super tasty and very delightful.... the crispy fresh texture and the combination of tangy tastes was just soo great I wanted to order one more.
2) Hand made manti beer dumpling with yogurt (re-fermented yogurt- which is fermenting yogurt 2 times)
The referee red yogurt was an absolute phenomenal! I've never had such a thing and I wish I could have more. It was super yummy, the only thing is the portion was a bit small, I just needed more of that tasty yogurt.
3) Vine leaf-wrapped beef (with some awesome tasing stuffing which I don't remember now)
This was also supper yummy and I tried not to eat it fast so I could enjoy it more. It has some nice Smokey flavor/taste, not sure if it was pepper or?? But it was really delicious
4) for desert, Kadajifi fritters, mastic ice cream, candies orange with fresh oregano leaf
The mastic ice cream was very interesting and unique, and it's combination with the candies orange and specially fresh oregano leaf was just perfect!!!!
The Kadajifi fritters were my least fav, but the whole combination was great and they all went well together.... it's just that in general I don't like deep fried dough because it tastes like doughnut
5) cocktail: Passion fruit, chili and mezcal (sour & Smokey)
OMG! FINALLY I found a place that can make me cocktail to my liking ... This was absolutely the best cocktail I've ever had because I like tangy and really sour and spicy drinks, without any sweetness and everywhere I go, in all the countries, there is always sugar involved!
This drink had so much character .... it was super fun, absolutely delicious, and definitely to my liking. I asked for extra sour and a bit more chili and the bar tender made me just exactly what I asked for. This was so good that I ordered 4 of it
Money well spent, absolutely!
Oh Yeni you are definitely my most favorite place, there is only only thing I don't like about you, and that is:
You are not in Toronto, or anywhere in Canada!
Can't wait to have you there or anywhere in North America.... if not, I will need to visit London every now and then, to have the best dining experience
Everything except the desert was 20 out of 10. Desert was 9 out of 10, but probably because I don't have a sweet tooth and am not a desert person.
Please note, the pics don't do the justice; my camera does not take good pics and there was no light ....
S. U.
Best contemporary Turkish cuisine restaurant in London.
Best lamb I ate in the UK.
M. P.
Excellent, excellent meal. Lucked out by seeing this on a list when I landed in London, and since it was a Monday it was easy enough to get a reservation at a good time. From there it was fantastic: service was smooth, the food was excellent (multiple Turkish people, who presumably would know, told me the chef also has what they consider one of their favorite restaurants in Istanbul) and overall a great meal. I think I skipped dessert, but overall I'd definitely go again.
A. M.
Loved Yeni. The service was so friendly and genuine. The food was delicious. The meat on the ribs feel apart when touched with a fork and it was served with beautiful strong sauce and yet the meat flavour also shone through. The octopus has a great charcoal flavour and perfectly cooked, I only wish the pieces were bigger or there was more if it! The beetroot dish delicious, the breads dish yum yum. The herb fritters really interesting. Wine selection very good. We had a great time, and I loved the fact that it was busy but you could easily talk without load music or guest so crammed in that made you have to shout to hear the person across the table from you. Definitely worth visiting and I recommend booking.
R. T.
Amazing food and wine. Great service and atmosphere. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Soho.
D. W.
Heavens, what fabulous food! Beautiful to look at, beautiful to eat, and such imaginative flavours. Great service and a lovely atmosphere too. The only thing that stops me giving it a high 4 stars is the price, alas. 3.5 stars it is (rounded up).
e. e.
It is an amazing place in terms of taste. Turkish food with little twist o.m.g. They just need little bit more service experience and be slightly more respectful to customers, It was a really tasteful experience as a Turkish person
S. P.
Literally perfect. Amazing innovative and delicious food with super friendly service. One of the best restaurants in London.
J. F.
Excellent food. We didn't like the lemon sole but overall excellent night. Real family vibes in the restaurant. Staff are well treated. Also tip is included in the prices which shows really nice respect for staff. Would go back.
E. A.
We were very excited about this restaurant as the Yeni in istanbul has been serving amazing dishes and has a great reputation. We chose the tasting menu, there was a random order of dishes from the alacarte menu (serving one of the main dishes between the starters), nothing special in terms of taste and not good value for money. We ordered razor clams in sauce which had a sandy taste and texture. We mentioned this to the waiters and they had no explanation or investigation about it. we hope the quality of the food and the service will match the good standards of the nice interior and the ambience of the restaurant soon!
M. Ö.
We are frequent guests in Yeni. A very unique Turkish restaurant with innovative and delicious menu. Friendly and excellent service. Super tasty food. A must visit in Soho.
D. P.
Absolutely loved the tasting menu experience. Food was fresh and exciting. The staff are amazing, very helpful and genuine. I would highly recommend this restaurant and definitely plan to visit again. Low in carbs and high in flavour. Excellent value for money too.
D. T.
Great atmosphere with amazing and most creative mezze platters. Definitely a must visit restaurant. Big thanks to the amazing chefs and friendly staff as well. Will come back soon.
D. C.
Delicious food! Changing menu, Turkish cousine inspired Mediterranian fusion dish.
E. B.
The food was amazing! We were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and the service was perfect. It will definitely become my regular place to eat.
N. F.
Amazing service. Cool interior. Knowledgeable sommelier. Dishes were great and unusual and tasty, but somewhat overpriced perhaps - £95 for dinner for 2 + a glass of wine each.
J. G.
Delicious tasting menu with a bottle of delicious Turkish wine. I really wonderful dining experience. We are already planning our return and will bring friends with us this time.
G. R.
Excellent food and varied selection. Service good but not perfect as too rushed... The manager was great and very attentive.
K. S.
Was really looking forward to trying their Turkish food so decided to book cor pre-theatre food. This was advertised on a traveller website as £16 for two courses or £22 for three so we booked with excitement! Unfortunately when we got there we were informed that they do not do the pre theatre menu, this meant that there was a considerable hike in prices! We cannot fault the food or the service however the whole premise of us coming for dinner was marred by the lack of pre theatre menu. So, if you are looking for reasonable pre theatre dinner then this is a no go however, looking for great Turkish food with no real budget then this is the place!
E. Ö.
Amazing food and great hospitality. Good value for money, strongly recommend if you like Mediterranean cuisine.
O. T.
Dining at Yeni was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! I booked a table for six for a 35th birthday dinner. I sent an email with so many complicated requests. I immediately got a call from Daniel the restaurant manager who accommodated all my requests. Kept me informed for two weeks of my reservation and requests.
The meal itself was like little plates of heaven! So many rich flavours bursting in your mouth. We had the sharer menu (8 tasting menu). Every single one of them out did itself. The desert which is like grilled custard is just heaven! And the lamb perfection
The icing on the cake was when the massive windows were opened – it was a starry night and felt like I was in holiday in Spain, such great ambiance.
Thanks to Ergin who took care of my demanding friends and I, Daniel the restaurant manager both chefs! An amazing evening.
M. B.
The food here was incredible and I loved the dumplings. Its was like a sharing platter were everyone eats from everything. The staff was also quite friendly. We paid 200£ for 6 people which is ok.
L. L.
Great food and friendly service.
The portions were quite small and prices were on the expensive side. We ordered a drink each (there were 2 of us), 5 dishes and 1 dessert which added up to £95!
Though some of the dishes were real divine🤤I love the lamb loin and the giant razer clams, they were amazingly succulent! For dessert, we ordered katayifi, it was different from the traditional ones I expected but OMG it was the best choice ever! The fried "milk" cubes just melt in your mouth and paired very well with the rich pistachio ice cream. It was Perfect.
We had a fantastic dining experience here so I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you fancy an indulgent meal out.
R. L.
Incredible food and great service! Really interesting flavours and unique dishes. Can't recommend enough!
G. B.
Had the best cocktail at Yeni and the food was exquisite. The atmosphere was so nice and the staff were friendly yet professional, so the whole experience was amazing. Gotta go again sometime soon to try the rest of the menu.
G. B.
Incredible service, and a lovely dining experience. The razor clams were delectable, and the lamb was spectacular! Fantastic negronis too. Can’t go wrong here - thanks for a night to remember!
B. O.
Very lovely food euphoria experience of Mediterrian and Turkish cuisine. You can try quite an innovative sharing menu. We shared prawn stuffed wine leaves, porcini mushroom stuffed aubergine, lamb shoulder, ricotta stuffed fried zucchini flowers, lamb croquette and kadayif rolls with pistachio sorbet. All were amazing. My fav was the lamb shoulder however I liked all the different fusion kitchen tastes I tried. Considering the location and the menu, we paid £45 pp including the gin tonics which makes sense. Nice place to treat yourself.
O. O.
Delightful place with great ambience! The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the tasting Menu which gives you great variety at a great price. The lamb is out of this world!
E. H.
Amazing place. The food is really creative, unique and delicious.
C. M.
Wow, wow, WOW, never have I had Turkish on this Par! Absolutely amazing food, clean, fresh well presented and very reasonably priced for location! If you have not been “GO” you will not be disappointed
S. D.
We had a great first experience at Yeni. The staff were brilliant, very friendly , attentive and full of knowledge on the menu. The food was delicious and bursting with flavour and variety. Stand out dishes were the aubergine mati dumplings, feta with honey, courgette fritters & beef ribs. A cosy atmosphere in a nice contemporary space. Would happily return.

Genuine nouvelle Mediterranean cuisine at its best. Yeni Soho offers a unique experience more than a dinner.
Fresh, creative, seasonal, well curated menu with impeccable service.

Great Evening ! Fabulous tasty food with professional, yet relaxed service. Thank you very much making the evening so special.

The Adana cocktail is incredible, so are the Manti! Tasty Turkish food with a modern twist. A nice airy space in Soho, a rare gem.

We visited about a month after Yeni opened, the food really is exceptional. The menu is very different to Turkish food I have had elsewhere in London, with more delicate and complex flavours. As suggested by our waiter, we had 4 starters and 2 mains between the three of us, which was more than enough to fill us up (3 starters/2mains would probably do 3 people just fine), my particular favourites were the octopus and the feta. The setting is lovely and the service was good. My only critisims are that it was a little on the pricey side (especially the wine list), and there were no soft drinks other than coke!!

Great food and excellent service. A nice selection of dishes that were new to me but really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend if you want to try something a bit different

Delicious food that tastes even better than it looks. Excellent customer service. This has just been added to my must visit again list 😋😋

This is my favourite restaurant in London. Inventive dishes, cool ambiance, great drinks. Very special place - thank you Yeni!

We are addicted to the taste here !

Very good food and a good place to enjoy Turkish cuisine and drink Raki 🥛
M. A.
The flavours are so unique and lovely. I have not had a meal where I felt blown away in a very long time. We absolutely loved the place and will be recommending it.
C. H.
Awesome food, they serve modernised style of Turkish food which I think can be messed up easily but they did a great job! The starters are definitely my favourite. Next time I will only order starters, maybe all of them.
M. B.
Amazing food and great service. Not Turkish food as I knew it. Highly recommend it.

Authentic Turkish cuisine with a modern twist
A. R.
We liked the atmosphere and food. Food is creative but it has a quite big twist to turkish food, that's why we didn't get why there were turkish names added to some dishes that has almost no relation to that original turkish dish anymore. Overall the bill comes quite high comparing to quality of service. Bit unusual to see no waiter even says Thank you, good evening when you're leaving.

Wonderful setting, in a great location, with fab light, tasty, creative sharing food. I opted for a number of small dishes so I can taste wider range. I had beetroot, then scallop, ending with grilled octopus. All terrific. Amuse bouche, the winner, but all of it excellent. Service by George and Joy terrific, and welcome by manager Jo, much appreciated. Terrific cocktails too. I had passion fruit with chilli, absolutely marvellous.
J. W.
Fantastic place! Yeni is an amazing spin on Turkish fusion it's a unique balance between fresh, clean, delicate, complex and the asthetic. The selection of wines show great passion and deep understand for the local culture.
I highly recommend this place!

We were there last week. I am a big fan of Civan Er's previous restaurants (Changa and Yeni Lokanta) in Istanbul. I was very excited to find out they opened a new restaurant in London. The food, experience and the staff were all great. We really enjoyed sharing few plates and the drinks. It is an authentic Turkish cuisine with a modern twist. There were also many vegetarian options and a Vegan tasting menu. I want to take all my friends there. =)
A.
Incredible food. Simply delicious. We had all the starters in the menu and they were absolutely amazing every single one of them. The mains and deserts followed up to the same skills and taste. Michelin level.

It's always a good food. Excellent service and friendly staff.

I love this place. Not only the best meal I've ever eaten in Yeni Lokanta in Isatnbul and more recently Yeni Soho (pre lockdown).. but then the team send out an incredible lunch to our NHS team today from Yeni home. unbelievable generosity. Amazing food. Wonderful people. Massive thank you to Civan Er and the team there.

A great representation of the Turkish cuisine! Delicious food!

If you want to try something different, this is an original solution. The menu is composed by various dishes. We decided to share two mains and several sides. The Italian waiter was extremely kind: he proposed an alternative for free when they finished a dish we ordered. The only problem was the music in the background since it was quite loud and it was difficult to chat. It was a nice experience after all!
J. F.
Food was absolutely delicious! Between two we shared five small plates and a dessert. More than filling and the flavours were great. 100% recommend
K. H.
Very good Turkish restaurant. The food was excellent quality and the wine was reasonable. The atmosphere was a little loud for me but overall the place is well worth a visit if lunching in Soho.
S. B.
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant and food! The staff were incredibly friendly especially front of house Jo who managed to get us a table! Seriously recommend and would love to come back. Looking forward to the taster menu and upstairs opening! Thank you everyone :):)

One of the only Turkish fusion restaurants I've heard of or been to, each dish was a delight of senses. Color, texture, flavor, smell, and taste, something for all the senses.
A. B.
A bit pricey but for me a dining experience I haven't had before. Most Turkish I've tried isn't as fine dining as such, for example the pannacotta with pumpkin sauce as unique but divine.
G. F. L.
Modern small dishes to share. Every single one we tried was delicious. Staff very friendly and keen to help. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
N. R.
The food was amazing. It is an expensive restaurant but the service and food is definitely worth it. Lovely people. Lovely vibe. Lovely food.
V. E.
Nice Turkish!!! Lunch with a friend. What a great surprise of a restaurant!!! You won't believe how beautiful Turkish food can be unless you have tried it there!!! Highly recommended👍❤️😋
a. g.
Delicious food but very small portions - good service, we ordered 4 starters and 3 mains, 4 dessert and a bottle of wine, to share in hope we would need to be rolled out of the restaurant from a food coma but we left hungry and paid £140 per couple.
y. z.
Excellent dishes which were nicely presented. Beautiful decor, attentive service and welcoming atmosphere....

Great food and service

Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, well done Yeni.

Nice Turkish restaurant,
I particularly enjoyed the mantı, an innovative twist to a traditional Turkish dish!
P. M.
Amazing food, great service.

Price reasonable and good deco but not sure what happened. Reviews were great but I really didnt see anything special. Overall food was not impressive. I wouldn’t recommend people to spend 40£/pp here.
C. G.
I’ve never seen nor tried Turkish food this good looking and tasty. Service was also amazing and the size of each plate was really good.
R. M.
What a refreshingly different place. Yeni is all about attention to detail from the delicate flavours to the stunning decor and personal service. I visited a few weeks into their opening and they seem to be running a tight ship. go eat!
S. F.
Amazing Turkish food and excellent staff. The ribs in particular were super. Highly recommended!
B. B.
Food was delicious and interesting. Unfortunately, possibly due to staff shortages caused by COVID, the service is sometimes a bit slow. And the music is a bit too loud.
J. K.
Fantastic choice of sharing plates. Plenty of vegetarian and meat options to keep everyone happy and attentive service. Decor is lovely.

The latest addition to London’s modern Turkish restaurants, Yeni opened in Beak Street in January. Its co-owner and head chef Civan Er is not a stranger to London. A Leith’s graduate, Civan spent some time in London before opening his first Yeni in Istanbul and he quickly became one of Istanbul’s most celebrated young chefs. It’s no secret that we love Turkish food, and we have been patiently waiting for Civan to launch his London venue since we heard the news. Yeni is set to become what Moro is to North African cuisine, modernising Turkish cuisine, elegantly and skilfully.

Went for pre theatre and ordered three courses...all superb... The beetroot with sour cherry and Greek feta was very tastey and equally so the aubergine dumplings... Highly recommended. Excellent service.
My only complaint was the lighting was very dim could barely see the food!
H. A.
Absolutely loved the food and went back 3 weeks in a row. Short ribs, feta starter and dumplings were out of this world!!!
S. O.
Absolutely DIVINE came here with my parents we shared everything and enjoyed every mouthful. Passionate staff who share a philosophy of respect for food. Very special place.

Shrimp fritters are amazing. Avoid the sardines. They kick you out after 90 mins unless you know the boss.
C. S.
Great restaurant, the food and service were exquisite. All dishes were bursting with flavours, thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
M. G.
Very good Turkish food here, but it came to 100 dollars for 1 person. Prices in London are really really bad
T. P.
Took my parents there on a friends recommendation. We all loved it. Menu looks limited, but is exquisite!
B. E.
Great food, great service, the best Turkish restaurant in the UK for sure; highly recommend. But, need a reservation in advance.

Great spot in Soho. Super delicious.
u. h.
Wonderful! The mantis were particularly good.
S. N.
Food was great but portion sizes were tiny and since the waiter didn’t think to advise us of this, we ordered too few plates and did not have anything like enough food. We’d have happily ordered more if we had been warned of how small the plates were (which shouldn’t really be described as “sharing”).

(Translated) Super restaurant happened to come across the locality. Was completely full without reservation on weekends very difficult. We only got our table 1 hour later because we hadn't reserved. It is a Turkish restaurant with Turkish dishes which are completely modernized but really well done we loved it.
As an aperitif I had ordered an ADANA cocktail, it is really well done with raki vodka and isot if you like it a little spicy. My wife had a lemonade that was homemade and intense. thumbs up
We had ÖCCE as a starter and CiG KÖFTE was great, I can only recommend it.
Main course we had LAMB SHANK was super well prepared the meat came off the bone great the meat was tender. Was the recommendation from the waiter that it was the most popular food there.
As a side dish we had GRILLED AUBERGINES was the best aubergine meze we've had so far.
For dessert there was KATMER with pistachios which was perfect!
I only gave 4 stars because the atmosphere in the locality suffered from the music that was playing in the background, it was very loud so that all guests in the restaurant had to speak loudly to exceed the volume and so it got louder and louder unfortunately. It was not a fund or dinner music but pop sound.
Would recommend to visit again, hope you can get the music done.
