Reviews of BBQ Chinese Restaurant
Best value for money Chinese restaurant in Manchester. Amazing spicy Chongqing fish gotten it at least 5 times and has been consistently good .Been to this restaurant at least 10 times and never had a bad meal . photos from two separate occasions.
best Chuan style Chinese restaurant in Manchester with great hot pot and BBQ. Highly recommend for people like spicy food. Special chef Beef noodles also very nice. Stuff are nice.
Spicy Chinese food, really authentic. Price is reasonable too.
Very authentic Sichuan food and good prices! Worth a visit. Handmade noodles and skewers were amazing! Sweet and sour was fab too. There's so much more to try, and I would definitely make another visit!
My boyfriend and I shared a hot pot together, which was an all-you-can-eat style. Regarding the quality and quantity of ingredients we got and the soup base, the price was totally reasonable (19.5 per person). And staffs were also helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Wow the food is really good. The waiters were attentive but not intrusive. I'll be going again when I'm back in the city. The atmosphere was lovely, family friendly.
Good service food was nice and good portions. Will visit again.
Great variety of hot-pot dishes, very very large portions, really neat and tidy, overall no complaints at all 😊
Chinese food good for us.
Generous portions of handmade noodles, simple and quick with options to customise to your own tastes as required. Brilliant and value for money. Will visit again
I have been here four times now. Each dish had been really good. Seems to be quite authentic.
Food was absolutely delicious and perfectly spicy. Only thing to be aware of is that there are 2 menus, make sure you ask for the proper menu to get the proper Sichuan food.otherwise the other menu just has mediocre Chinese takeaway food for white people
If you want to eat authentic Chinese food in China town Manchester, then this is a great place. Good food good service and good venue
Tasty real Chinese food, the chefs here are the best...its not expensive and is a great place to eat with some friends!
Great authentic food with helpful staff. Good value for money as well. Hard to fault.
finally reopen after lockdown. it seems the service quality is improving.
Very good Chinese cuisine. Asked for the traditional menu for the full experience
Best Chinese place in Manchester so far. Bring cash for a small deduction from your bill
Excellent food but very congested and crowded. Need to have bigger space.
Good value and tasty
not bad
Nice and spicy. If you like sichuan spicy food
The spicy and numbing fish is the best I have ever tasted in the UK. Beef noodle is also yummy! The beef bbq skewer omg so nice
Good Chinese food. But bad customer service
Authentic Chinese food! Great taste!
Best Chinese restaurant that I have ever been to!
Good food and good service at the heart of Chinatown
Was expecting something a little better after Jay Rainer's review but it was quite disappointing.
Great food and lovely atmosphere
Always fab for a hot pot and bbq buffet
Authentic, and very good chinese cooking
Not bad food service a bit shoddy
Recommend barbecue and hot pot here.
I like this place a lot. They have 2 menus, one for less adventurous folks and one pure Chinese with some super unusual foods. Highly recommended if you want an authentic Chinese meal.
Out of curiosity, we chose the traditional Chinese menu. But, beware, very very spicy. I love hot food, but this was one of the hottest meals I've ever eaten. We asked the waiter how spicy it was, he said mild. I reckon this must be a Szechuan restaurant because a lot of the dishes had the amazing floral spiciness of Szechuan pepper.
The food was fantastic, with an astonishing depth of flavour, but be careful if you order from the Chinese menu.
We saw one girl eating on her own, what looked like just a plate of chillies!! If you think Indian food is hot, if you can handle a vindaloo, you ain't seen nothing till you've been to this restaurant.
Some times good . Sometimes bad . Average .
Nice hotpot and bbq!
not bad
Very nice indeed 😀
The food was delicious.
Very nice food
No alcoholic drink
Loved it,
excellent food!
Fabulous. But I love Sichuan food. Had whole roasted fish, boiled rice, lamb skewers, and peppers and aubergine . All top drawer. It is spicey, and service is brisk, because it's very busy, but the food is good.
Ask for the Chinese menu...
Authentic and tasty
Great food
excellent chinese.
If you can find a hot pot restaurant in Manchester with cheaper prices and better food, I believe this one can be considered a good one~
The portions are big and the food quality doesn't feel like garbage. The shrimps and mussels are huge, the skewered chicken wings are huge, and the mutton skewers are also delicious. You will definitely feel full.
I saw other places offering side dishes, and every side dish is huge, even a bowl of soup noodles is huge. Therefore, when ordering side dishes, it’s best not to order too much, otherwise you won’t be able to eat them properly~
The portion is large and the taste is great, but the air inside is a bit stagnant and the food smell will remain on the clothes.
The food is delicious and the price is not high for the portion. I recommend it to those who eat spicy food and miss pasta.
It was a worthwhile trip because I came here because of its reputation. I ordered grilled skewers, which were electric grilled and tasted very good. I remembered the taste of the skewers at Xi’an Restaurant in Beijing, capitalized 👍🏻
The quality of the beef trotters is really not good. The stewing heat of the tendons is obviously not enough and there is no sticky feeling. The yam is still very crispy, but the taste is quite good. It passes the test.
The oyster sauce lettuce and beef noodles are quite satisfactory and the portions are quite sufficient.
Overall, it's very good. If I pass by Manchester City again, I might become a repeat customer.
Very nice service, stylish restaurant, tasty Asian cuisine at a reasonable price.
(Translated) In Manchester City for more than ten years, this restaurant is definitely the restaurant with the largest amount of dishes, the most affordable price, and the most delicious food. There is no one.
I used to travel and have been doing group meals here for a long time, and the feedback from the guests is all well received. I have never had any opinions once in a few years.
The evaluation should be objective and fair. Some people who write reviews themselves wear colored glasses and have to write a few sentences about life attacks. You should not eat. It is best to eat shit.

At best average for me, I was very disappointed. I did note that midweek the restaurant was full of Chinese people. This would tend to suggest either I’m wrong or they serve authentic Chinese food, would I return. NO
good hot pot buffet with a variety of choices, BBQ is good as well.
Nice buffet, lots of choices, the boss lady is also very enthusiastic
Been here many times. It's suitable for people with heavy tastes. It tastes pretty good, but overall it's a little greasy.
It’s really delicious. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews.
If you don’t bring any money, as long as people trust you, you can owe the debt, but this is only possible in special circumstances, and you can’t use Chinese bank cards. The minimum purchase of Mastercard is 15 pounds, which is inconvenient.
(Translated) The northerners don’t know if it’s authentic, but the current point is very delicious.

北方人 不知道是不是正宗 但是目前点的都挺好吃的 强推鸡胗串
Quite delicious! And it's very interesting
The food tastes okay, the grilled fish and side dishes are not fresh enough, and the service attitude is terrible
Average service, plenty of portions, good taste
The dandan noodles taste good, but the soup is a little thin.
Beautiful place to eat could not eat it all the banquet.. Staff great, but every one eating had a coat 🧥 on..... I loved asking a Chinese family 👪 what they were eating, next to us. Very educational..
Environmental hygiene, authentic Sichuan food, will come again next time
There are many varieties of hot pot and the barbecue is very good
Hotpot is delicious but service is very poor
The taste is okay, but the quantity is a bit small
Very kind. Something delicious
Sichuan food is delicious
(Translated) A good Sichuan restaurant. Great.

好的不得了的川菜馆 很棒
Good service
Authentic Sichuan food. Portions are big. Coming in the winter and eating a soup or partaking in a hotpot is a fantastic experience. Ask for the Chinese menu. Chili level makes itself known but is not uncomfortable. Staff aren't as bad as people say. Maybe they're picking up their game after all the bad reviews. Make sure you know what you want however, they are a bit clueless when it comes to finding a dish you had before, and with names like "fried chicken with chili" and "boiled fish in chili oil" it can be easy to lose track.
love the beef noodle and the hotpot. 100% Recommended for those who loves spicy food
Ate here last night and can safely say it was the best Chinese I've ever had! The young lad serving us was brilliant too!
