Outstanding meal yesterday evening at the Desi Lounge celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. Food amazing and very comfortable atmosphere, staff ever so friendly and made us so very welcome. Will definitely be back!

We had a reservation at another indian and had to wait 30 mins so we walked away and aftwr driving to another indian to be turned away and the when we got here they got us straight to the table. They joked and had a good laugh with us. The team were so friendly and had good recommendations on what to have. The cocktails were amazing. Definitely going again and id highly recommend anyone looking for a nice family friendly restaurant. Perfect for date night too. Not a boring moment there with the staff.

31/08/21 Table booked for 3 people at 5.00pm We arrived on time with an extra 2 people. No problem increasing the number. Waiter was brilliant with great rapport even with my Grandson who isn’t 3 yet. food was beautiful plenty of it. I was looking for somewhere to have a meal for my 60th. I have now found the place and after a discussion they will even do English if some of my guests prefer it. Can’t wait for November 21.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Shoukat and his such a professional team at Desi lounge for providing a phenomenal catering service for wedding ceremony of my sister at The Mere Knutsford . From canapés to desserts; the food was absolutely so delicious and fresh. Very neat and clean service. Desi lounge has got full capacity to cater an extra ordinary & luxurious menus - Shoukat is just such an amazing person under his professional and great event management skills the whole experience was smooth and flawless. I would hight recommend Desi Lounge if you want a high quality , stress free and spotless catering . Desi lounge is A++ - I would recommend Desi lounge in a heartbeat. Thank you Shoukat , I am forever grateful and will continue to highly recommend you.

On the main Oldham Road and 20 mins by car from Manchester City Centre, this restaurant is well worth a visit. Impeccable food with a surprisingly wide range of wines. Really impressed with the speed the food arrived despite it being fairly packed. Super attentive staff always eager to please.

I took my wife, son and his girlfriend to the Desi Lounge last Friday to celebrate my son going off to university. I have to say, the meal was excellent, the service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is just fantastic. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Well worth the trip from Sale to Failsworth.

Felt like we was put at a table that was put there due to how busy it was. Whilst still eating our popadums the starter came which wasn't ideal, then waited about 50 mins for the main course. We have eaten here many times but this was by far the worse for service food was good though.

Desi Lounge provided the food at my wedding and I'm always recommending them to any friends who are looking for a caterer who you can trust. When it came to choosing our wedding menu, Mr Shokat had the experience and knowledge we needed without being patronising - he listened to our ideas and made suggestions for how to turn our dream menu into something viable for our 200 guests. Food is a very big part of Asian weddings, and more often than not, the food is served late! However the Desi Lounge team were super organised and on our big day everything was served on time and it tasted amazing. My only regret from our wedding day was that I didn't get to eat more of the delicious food! We still visit the Desi Lounge restaurant from time to time and they always welcome us so warmly - it's a really nice touch that they remember us even though they've probably catered hundreds of weddings since ours.
