Would highly recommend and would go again couldnt go wrong with the burgers a little disapointed in the cocktails and beer coming premade in can and bottle but didnt effect flavour was just wanting abit more fancy than a basic cocktail . Some of the staff had a cant be bothered attitude , but on the otherhand some was really helpful.

Burgers and shakes are overpriced for what they are. Expectations vs reality was very disappointing. Ordered my burger medium/well done… nothing medium about the burger had blood on the bun. Decent sized chip portions. Won’t be in a hurry to return, which is a shame because when I first visited a few years ago it was lovely.

Always love the burgers here!! Best burgers I've had and made to order! There was a queue at a peak time to get in, however it wasn't a long wait plus we'd pre booked a table. As soon as we'd been welcomed in the queue and told them we'd already booked, we went straight in. Ordered by the app, which was quick and easy. Food came really quickly and didn't last very long!! Delicious!!

Amazing burgers, always amazing, and great choices for those with a dairy intolerance too. Service has always been good. I used to love their milkshakes (they do the best ones in the UK) but since I found out I am dairy intolerant I tried the vegan chocolate one. It was good but chocolate milkshake has always been my least favourite flavour so just wish they would do a vegan vanilla!

Visited on the 7/12/21 whilst Christmas shopping. We were greeted on entry and asked our seating preferences, the ordering process for food was simple and quick and a member of staff took our drinks order within minutes of us arriving. The restaurant appeared clean and staff members always had a smile on their faces. Food tasted great and arrived in a timely manner with staff members checking if we were enjoying our food some time after our food arrived. Will definitely return again soon !

Huge improvement over our previous visit. We were attended to and seated immediately, the attendant (Strawbs) was very friendly and accommodating with regard to the coeliac (gluten free) member of the party. Ordering was easy and painless. The food can quickly and the food was delicious.

After a disappointing beginning at another eatery we decided to go to GBK. I had the new burger on offer, the Side Chick and my wife ate the Chicken satay burger. The starters we had were the Saganaki and the chicken Hei Hei tenders which were both fab! The halloumi cheese was really tasty 😋. The food came quite swiftly but there was a delay on the drinks 🥤 but the server did apologise for the delay. The chicken burgers 🍔 were very nice with the chunky fries. Note the cost of the fries is separate from the burger. You can order several ways firstly by scanning a QR code on your table and then ordering via the website. Secondly, through the GBK app. Thirdly, by going to the till and placing your order with the server. We ordered via the QR code and you can also manage the percentage if you would like to pay for gratuity. The decor of the place is not bad. However with the amount of seating they have there in this establishment I do not understand why the toilets are so small and so constricted. It appears that businesses seem to want to maximise on profits rather than focusing on a positive all round customer experience. However, they were clean which is a plus point. Maybe they will take this into consideration in future if they read this review. Overall not cheap but definitely offers a good alternative to regular burgers, It’s worth checking out.

Staff was friendly, the foods are excellent, and we ordered the chicken burger as it's only halal available there. The burger is massive; I had to cut it half as it's challenging to hold it's in one place as I've got small hands. Hahaha, it's perfect as it's crunchy and flavoured. Fries are thin, and I like their sweet potatoes fries as it's come with garlic mayo dip it's the ideal combination.

This is a review that compares what GBK was before 2020 and how it is now in 2022... so take that into consideration. I haven't been to a GBK franchise restaurant for a few years, and I was a bit disappointed with what has happened to my favourite burger place. Firstly, there's a lot of wear and tear on the table that we sat on, and it also felt a bit tired in other areas too. Gone were the squeezeable ketchup bottles and in its place were glass bottles that were covered in a film of something, as if they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The menu was quite small and not as varied as previously. The prices were similar to other brands, but things felt cheaper. We used the app and made a few changes to the order on the app, which GBK was always happy to do. Alas, whereas one burger came without some but all the changes, the remaining options were unaltered even though we asked for changes on the app. All in all, quite a let down compared to what I have been accustomed to.

GBK does great burgers and easily the best milkshakes known to man. The price is reasonable for what you get, the taste is great too. Service is usually fast to get you seated and they're usually very accommodating of where you'd like to be seated. The only thing they don't do is take your order at the table, you need to place that yourself at the bar.

Had a really nice chicken burger in here. Menu is mainly beef, a few chicken and some veggie burgers. There is the option for salads as well. Staff were really nice could not fault them, kitchen staff had more stanards than some expensive restaurants I have been to. There are some nice drinks on the menu as well including a free refill option.

Iv been to this one a few times and its always been great. Iv tried all the chicken burgers and there all tasty. I recommend the basil pesto or chick chick boom but there all good. Also try the truffle cheese fries, they are to die for. They have such a unique taste to them. Theres seating at the top where can get a nice view of the Orient. The staff are amazing. When the jalapenos were missing from my burger they brought some extra for me. Clean place especially the toilets. I recommend this placs

Great veggie burger, average beef burger. No sweet potato fries so went with "skin on chunky fries" which turned out to be a trip down memory lane, straight to the primary school canteen. Not the sort of nostalgia I enjoy. Still, enough fries were left over to construct a sad face on the plate.

Honestly...I don’t know what to say. It’s not exactly the price you pay. The burger was small, the crust was literally like bite stone pieces in the food and the exact noise. The presentation was horrible like I’d get better looking food at a street food stall and I have. It was a recommendation but the burger my friend got looked more appealing but he had got a lot of extras on it too. I mean it was £35.50p for two burgers. Order skinny fries and I have never seen skinner fries but I have no complaint for how skinny they were HOWEVER they were just as if not more saltier the McDonald’s fries so I couldn’t eat much of them. As the burger was described in the menu with all the extras it was nothing like that I don’t know what I did wrong or was it even my fault. I think the reason I gave them 3* is because of the milkshake. Good value for more. I think around £5 for a huge glass and tasted really good too. the chicken is only halal

Amazing food, this review is for the spinningfields one in manchester but it has been closed down, im guessing because of the lack of customers and we used to go at normal restuarant busy times and it would only have 3 or 4 tables. This is probably because of the vast amount of cheaper foods you can get around this area and with such a variety. My only complaints about this place is the food price and the lack of variety in the menu. The food itself was lovely to eat and the drinks was good too, the decor was amazing and beautiful and so was the service. Real shame it closed down. RIP Spinningfields GBK

We just had a burger in the Trafford Center . The initial burger was cold but our server Stephen immediately sorted out a new burger and the manager Will followed up to make sure everything was ok. In the end the food was amazing and the service impeccable . We will be back.

Disappointed... I had specifically ordered a burger for my son (requested two burgers with american cheese slice on a bun, no salad or sauce) a single burger with sauce and salad came out.. this was taken back to the kitchen where the salad was removed, then brought back to the table.. staff admitted this! Manager eventually sorted it, while mine and my wife's food went cold.. at £55 for three burgers, 2 chips, onion rings and three drinks I doubt we'll be returning....

It's my son's favourite burger place in Trafford Centre. We've been there many times with a great experience. The service is very good and the staff are excellent especially the amazing lady called Lorraine with here lovely smile! She never failed to make you feel you're welcomed and well looked after. Wonderful service when I collected my order I store. Staff couldn’t do more. The chef came to say he hoped we enjoyed our meal. The front staff checked over the order correct. The order was fresh and prepared on time. We ordered a few different chicken burger meals with fries and a shake. Skinny fries in particular. The portion sizes are generous. The burgers were delicious. The chocolate and strawberry milkshakes were thick and made with real dairy ice cream and milk. The non dairy option on the menu was a great alternative also and tasted quite nice too!!!! Thank you to Will and the Chef. We enjoyed it that much we went back the following weekend.

Seeing some negative reviews here, either im very lucky or people are just fussy, whenever i go to the trafford centre this is 99% of the time the place i eat, have done for the last few years. I can honestly say ive never had bad service or bad food. Staff have always been friendly, ive always been seated the moment im at the board being told to wait for assistance, food has always been served quickly and cooked (the burger) to my liking. From what ive been told the friends ive been with have all thought the same, this will continue to be my choice of place to eat at the trafford centre.

Gourmet Burger king has excellent social distancing measures. Staff are super friendly. The vegan menu is good with number of sides. Food was good however I did have funny stomach after. The app where you can order from the table did not work for me hence had to offer from from the till. High chairs available for kids, family friendly restaurant. Disable WC available.

Sat upstairs with my girlfriend and her dad, great atmosphere, music wasn’t too loud. The food. Absolutely brilliant, easily the best quality food in the Trafford centre. The girlfriends dad ordered a coffee, £2.30, it was in a tiny cup & after a quiet word with the waiter the manager came to our table got us a huge one on the house! Fantastic service from Dean at the till, staff asked through out the meal if everything was okay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a genuinely tasty burger, vast choice on the menu, app usage gave discounts too!

Can order food to take out although we haven't tried it definitely worth a shot as the burgers are well worth the trip for. If you're eating inside, they work the same as Spoons, you sit down and can either order at the tills or order on the app. We ordered through the app and the food came very quickly and all the staff we saw were very friendly and the food was really nice. Well worth a visit !

I went on my own following a work promotion event held in the Trafford Centre. Was seated within 2 minutes of arriving, upstairs by the stairs so there was a lot of passing 'traffic' and I had a very limited view. However I can't fault the staff, they were so attentive as I was alone & regularly asked if I was OK, if my food was OK, did I need anything, etc. I ordered a kiwiburger which was delicious with sweet potato fries, salad and a non-alcohol 'homemade' ginger and something drink. All delicious and a free top up even choosing a different flavour. It was a very pleasant end to a tiring day. Unfortunately over the following 2 days I had a bad stomach which I cannot say was caused by my meal, however I hadn't eaten anything else during the day prior to my meal and feel I just had a bad reaction to something. Cannot praise the staff enough.

If you like a regular burger, avoid the bunless option was the weirdest meal i had. The fries are almost the exact same as those french fries chrisps, i hope this changes in the future. Overall the staff where good shame there are no menus its all done from your phone, its bad because the signal is next to none including 3G signal. NHS mobile check in is manditory.

Saturday lunch time i thought the place would be packed but there were plenty of tables to choose from. Good choice of burgers but i still think there could be more variety considering burgers are their thing! I went simple on this occasion opting for the cheese and bacon with BBQ sauce. A well cooked and tasty burger helped by the applewood smoked cheese. My only criticism is the brioche bun was dryer than expected. The milkshakes there are the best! If i was rating it the milkshake alone i would give it 5 star. A must try.

Yes my cheeseburger was tasty and our food freshly cooked. I have even given an extra star as there is a children menu, with choice of chips, chuncky skin on or extra skinny. The extra skinny chips that were so skinny, that I doubt they had any potato in them, were a massive hit with my two children, and yes, they were nice and tasty.

Oh my god. Went here for the first time ever on my lunch break. Amazing. My friend had a chicken burger and I had a falafel burger, we split them in half so we could try both and they were delicious. The falafel was some of the best I've ever had. I also had a chocolate milkshake which was spot on but they do a whole range; even a lime one. Will definitely be returning! +1 for reasonable prices too. Like another review said if you have a little more time why go to a fast food restaurant? (Not that the food took long to come at all)

First thing that you notice at GBK is the friendly, enthusiastic staff. They serve great burgers to your table swiftly & you can have a beer. My only reservation is that I think the prices are a bit steep, since it is effectively a fast food restaurant, albeit, a posh one where the food is brought to your table. One definite plus is that this restaurant is on the first floor of the Orient, away from the horror that is the main seating area below.

Overall I think GBK is expensive for a burger chain restaurant, but if you're pushing the boat out or if you can get hold of a voucher it is a nice place to eat. My recommendations would be the Taxidriver burger and the sweet potato fries (served with the amazing baconnaise), and this is currently one of my favourite meals when dining out. Plus anywhere that serves coke in glass bottles and amazing milkshakes is always a winner.
