I've been to a Nando's before and this tasted about the same. It was relatively busy at 4:30 PM, and as a result, the service was notably slow. The staff, however, noticed as such and sought me out to ask what I ordered. As it was slow, I did appreciate this considerate offer to check in on me.

Great location and setting, let down by customer service. We visited at about 20:00 on a Friday evening, which meant that the restaurant was fairly quiet. Was greeted by staff who promptly lead us to our table and allowed us to begin our order via the app (which we have no issues with). We ordered starters and mains, and were pleasantly surprised with the quick arrival of our starters, which we enjoyed and were the highlight of the meal. The issues began after waiting over 30 mins for our mains to be brought over to us, the main frustration of this was we could see our food sat on the counter and staff simply ignoring it as they walked past. Our food continued to sit there whilst staff ran about the restaurant like headless chickens, despite the place being less than a quarter full, which further added to the frustration. By this point food was stacked up along the serving counter and you could see other customers looking over at their food also sitting there. After ~35 mins, a server finally brought our food over, which unfortunately wasn't worth the wait. As the food had been sat for over 30 mins it was barely warm, with the chips been cold. The chicken wasn't the best either, the skin had lost its crispiness and the meat itself wasn't up to normal standard. I do however, blame this on the large amount of time the food was sat on the counter. Despite this, I am keen to revisit this Nando's as it is local to me and is a much nicer restaurant than the one in the Arndale. I do however suggest that they organise their staff properly and ensure food isn't sat for long.

I've been to this branch of Nando's a few times now - if you have visited a Nando's before it is everything you would expect. All their restaurants are fitted out to a high standard and Spinningfields is no exception. The restaurant is clean, the food is reasonably priced and delicious. The staff are very helpful. Because of it's location this restaurant can get quite busy - especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Nando's is a confusing place. You pay for food and service but are expected to queue up and order like it's MC Donald's. You also need to get your own drink, cutlery, condiments and napkins. The food is pretty good, I just think the value is a bit off. You're probably better around the corner at Artisan.

If never been to one before and I visited this one on Manchester while away for a couple of days away withy daughter who had been before. The best nandos I have ever been to. I ate at the restaurant on Friday the 7th of August with my cousin and five kids. The service we received was excellent.The food was served very quickly. The staff were chatty, and very welcoming to the kids. One member of staff even brought to are table our drink refills. Thank you Nandos.

It's a Nando's, much like other Nando's restaurants all over the country. You pay when you order, making it easy to split bills and convenient for working lunches, as there's no need to hang around to pay the bill. On this visit I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian offerings available, as Nando's is first and foremost known for its chicken. I had the mushroom and halloumi wrap and would recommend it.

Not a massive fan of Nando's in general (hence 4 stars not 5) but of the two I have been to this is by far the better choice. It's in Spinningfields in central Manchester and surrounded by loads of other places to eat so it has to be at the top of its game to compete. Personally if I sit down to eat I want to order at my table and not have to go and queue at a till like in McDonalds. But otherwise service is quick and food very good.

Ah.. My secret love affair with Nando's! There's something about their marinated chicken that is just so yummy! The only downside is that it's over priced for the amount you get. And then there's the queues to get seated. Thankfully, this branch is tucked away down a side street so it's rarely ever full. If you had to go to Nando's, pick this branch!

Found this Nando's in the side street,had it not been for the 'A' frame advert board on the main road,even then had to search. Manchester bee hunt nearly killed me off, but thanks to the excellent service (as always) was replenished on a whole chicken rice fries and drink. Even given permission to fill water bottle up for second leg of journey. Never been dis-appointed with Nando's consistent quality and service.

Rarely busy at this Nandos on a back street in Spinningfields. Plenty of tables and space and good customer service. Rooms for prams. Staff were kind and cleaned things away swiftly. Good segregation of areas and seating decisions means that noisy children and babies don't disturb others without kids.

What can I say. It is Nandos. If you like chicken, and spicy chicken you'll do ok here. They do on the bone, boneless, burgers (veggy option for burger available), soft drinks you refill yourself, endlessly. Macho peas are worth a try, but they, and the chicken, is not macho spicy really so if you want it hot ask for the hottest option. Prices are reasonable and lower than most restaurants, but the service is more like a cafe - you order at a counter, and can feel like a customer factory as they flip tables quite fast Not a place for a quiet romantic meal, but a couple steps up from a chippy!
