Absolutely amazing experience from food, decor, ambiance and such friendly and lovely staff. Different areas of seating. Helped us decide on the dish we would enjoy. Tailored the spice to our liking. Available parking infront and good variety on the menu. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

We have been here for the 1st time tonight with family who have been recently and said it was great. So we went for my neices birthday and just wanted to give a huge shout out to the staff you gave fantastic service 👏 we had in tow our twin babies and 5 Yr old and we usually feel a complete inconvenience and in the way but not here all staff couldn't have been more welcoming they made sure we had plenty of room so we didn't clash with other tables, the table layout is spacious not like a traditional Indian restaurant where its quite compact, also parking is brilliant we parked right outside and no parking charges is a bonus. Nothing was to much trouble they made effort to welcome the children too which makes a big difference and the food and atmosphere was amazing we've really enjoyed out night thankyou to all the team we will defiantly come again and recommend to others keep up the great work !!!

Fantastic place! Sorry I needed to edit my review after reading some of the WRONG REVIEWS GIVEN !! The Service and food here is second to none! My family and I have visited this restaurant over 10 times this year ! The staff are attentive and polite, If you want cheaper alternative food it's probably best you look for a butty van on an industrial estate! Thanks Purple Lounge Team !!!

Food was alright, very nice inside and free parking outside. The only downside was we had a lot of food left over and asked for it to be bagged up to take home which they did only to find once got home they never put the 2 chicken currys in the bag, rang them up to explain this and they promised to ring me back which they never did which was a really disappointing... so make sure if you do ask for food to be bagged up just a quick check whilst there would be advisable

Was taken there for a meal, and oh my god I had my socks blown off. I wasn't expecting the level of service that we recieved, which was second to none, very professional and extremely polite. Wow the setting is fabulous with pods and booths and then the usual restaurant lay out. The bar area is stunning and the lighting is amazing. The staff are very friendly helpful and polite. The place is new, and still has the new look to it and interesting decor. Parking is convenient and easy. Family friendly, and good fun. Food is alright however it has room for improvement (not saying is not good), serving vegan and vegetarian dishes too. Waiters are available that do good job, and service. Live singers/musicians/DJ on set dates, mostly cover singers. Price on the menu reflect the location, and the place, not expensive but be ready to spend.

Visited just over a month ago. We booked a table for a large group for a special birthday. We had no recognition of this at all. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant even though there were other lovely places wecould of sat. Service was rushed. We were made to feel an inconvenience however the food was amazing. We decided to give it another try as the food was so good. We went just over a week ago. It was a smaller party and it was quieter however the service was outstanding. The staff were chatty and very helpful. Again the food was amazing. So overall I would say maybe it was opening problems that needed ironing out. They have certainly done this so I would highly recommend a visit.

The trick with this place if you want take away wait till after 9pm when the restaurant is starting to quiet down 😄 We have dined here a few times before but tonight we decided late on we wanted a curry so called these guys food was ready within 20 minutes and once getting it home was still hot well packaged and presented and most of all tasted great. Just had our NHS free meal from these lovely people . How nice of these guys to think about us NHS workers they don't have to do it but this is them doing their part to support us NHS worker's. Me and my partner are both NHS workers and on this one off occasion that we are at home together tonight we have been able to sit and have a meal that has been made for us and we have not had to rush to make. The meal was absolutely delicious full of lovely aromatic flavour. Would highly recommend the purple lounge. It was mid week , but restaurant was very busy !(always is ) . We had a drink ,& within 10 mins ,we was shown to a lovely table . We was looked after by a lovely lad , who served us many times at The spice lounge . He again made us feel special. The food as always was fantastic . I was quite hesitant due to mixed reviews from my friends. However my family gave it a go since we had bad experience at Due Amici. Not only the service was great. Purple lounge somehow changed my father mind from not to keen on Indian food to loving Indian food! I would totally recommend the Rack of Lamb with Keema.

Sudden decision to go to Purple Lounge while my daughter was visiting. The place looks amazing and that day there was music and 'Elvis Presley' was singing... really crowded. There were five a us but we're not big eaters. We were very well received even though we could tell it was not so easy to accommodate us. The starters were huge and we really couldn't possibly have a main after. I'm sure it didn't make them happy but they dealt with it and still made us feel welcome.

We celebrated my dads retirement at the purple lounge yesterday and we could not have been happier! The restaurant it's self is beautifully decorated and very classey! There were 27 of us, including a few fussy eaters. Everybodys tastes were catered for, nothing was to much trouble. The food was amazing, served promptly and beautifully presented. The whole experience was made even more enjoyable by the staff, professional friendly, happy to help and always with a smile.
