Being a foodie I absolutely love the Food Box! From the vibe, service, presentation & packaging of food but above all else…everything tastes great & so fresh. And reasonably priced So if your reading this review and on the fence, try it. If your looking for food that is marinated seasoned & Grilled to perfection rather than dripping in grease, then your found the right spot! I especially enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Breast Box & Chicken Wrap! Absolutely loved it!

Food is nice. Nice and clean however being petite did find the table a bit high. If you're dining in remember you've got to pay 10% extra of your order.

I am quite shocked at the negative reviews left by some reviewers in regard to the customer service. I have been to this establishment several times and the staff have always been superb. Even the chef gives his salaam when walking past him to the rear seating area. Food is always on point.

Very happy with the food and customer service. The food here is not to be slept on, I ordered the queen of the castle and my friend ordered the hayzee burger. Absolutely delicious food! The burgers are stunning! My favourite meal is the chicken burger meal with shredded lamb on top of chips. Absolutely mouthwatering and filling. The staff are super hardworking and friendly, especially the lad who takes down your order, Waqas, who knows a thing or two about how to make your order perfect for you. There is indoor seating and it is located in a prime location. The prices are very reasonable and the food is presented in a lovely way. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Overall a very good experience. The food is very high quality (especially the beef & the pulled lamb) price is reasonable considering the high quality, service was fine (food came quickly and how we ordered). It only loses a star because it is cash only and its a bit cramped and dark in the back where we sat, not helped by the fact that there is scaffolding everywhere. Not sure who thought that would be a good idea but they should probably be fired. You feel like you are eating in a construction site. Great menu though.

Been coming here for years. Must recommend the chicken burger or, my own personal favourite, the Hayzee with the burger sauce dip. They only use top–quality ingredients and the food is freshly prepared and cooked right there in front of you. Great food and great service.

This restaurant looks deceptively small from the outside I thought it was only a small takeaway until I went inside. The decor was rather unorthodox and reminded of jail but it works for this place and after all it is Manchester. Food was really good, the staff were friendly and I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

Guys all I can say to is, If you are in Manchester just go and try some food. Although you might wait a little to sit down its well worth it. It looks and sets of an image like a normal chippy, I assure you what happens inside is just amazing the food is always well cooked and served and presented in a good manner. The food was nice eating in at the back but the bill with all the add ons, which were not broken down properly on the simple reciept or explained was surprising. The bill jumped from the menu what we looked at and ordered from £35ish to £53. Please let customers know before you start recommending extras and what the charges are. You don't want to just hit people with the bill at the end. So please take this on board for customers visiting for the first time. All 3 of us were surprised at the bill walking out. It's not how first time customers looking to return should be walking out.🤔

Oaaaaaaaa this place is awsome,driven all the way from huddersfield to eat here on a wim, i am so glad we did staff are really welcoming friendly and respectful, the food was perfection absolutely amazingly cooked food. The secret sauce (in the yellow bottles) just made it even better. We felt really comfy eating no staff rushing us or pressuring us to finish and get out, the lads met up after not seeing each other for years so we had a lot of catching up to do and this place was perfect. Definitly will come here again and will hugely reccomend anyone to go.if it was in huddersfield i would be there every week.

Great place. Looks can be deceiving! Some may look at the exterior as it looks just like a bog standard place! But once you step in you realise they have extra seating in the back that you can not even see. But the main thing is the food. Absolutely fantastic. The platter is great. Great variety and tastes amazing. The burgers and wraps are also spot on. Be sure to try this place. Well worth my trip from Birmingham!

Delicious food! Pricey but the portions are big. Lamb burger meal was my favourite but since they stopped it I have tried out the beef, chicken and beef steak burgers. Very good. Full of authentic character, I love places that aren't shy of showing their food in it's own unique light. I had a chicken and pulled beef burger and I can honestly say it was uniquely flavoured, tender and delicious. On areas needing improvement: the sauces were tired and standard, very unimpressive. I personally don't like skinny fries, I'd much rather have the option of thicker fries or normal chips. I gave this place 5 stars because the food was delicious but no doubt there is room for improvement. Nonetheless I definitely intend going back again.

The food is quite nice. I wouldn't call it outstanding, but it's pretty good. The service is on par with the food and the meals are served in a very timely manner. It's quite busy over the weekend, so it can take a while before you're settled. The 6 - 8 tables at the back can comfortably seat 6 people each, equating to about 40 spaces. There are healthy eating options for those on a strict diet.

Really good king of the castle burger. Would have love for it to be a little bigger. However I won't complain too much. The chicken was moist and tender - on point and the pattie was good (a bit too asianified for me with the spices, but the main source of customers will love this pattie). It was juicy, you could take the difference between the chicken and the pulled lamb, combined with the veg and the cheese you have yourself an amazing burger. Been here a few times now. The food is always good,portions are decent sized and I always seem to get tricked into buying more food than I need. Price tends to be on the high side. It has an old school vibe which I don't mind, but it can get a bit cramped as its quite popular and space is finite. If you want good food go here, if you want to jam somewhere confortable for a while with a snack go somewhere else.

The food from the The Food Box is delicious and it is freshly made in front of you. I tried Chicken Gourment Burger meal from them and it was amazing. However, great food comes with a slightly hefty price tag. Compared to other takeaways from on the same lane, the prices are higher but if you love food, you wouldn't mind paying it. But if you want something for a quick bite, you may want to give this a miss as it will be costly. The staff in there is brilliant too and the person who took my order was friendly.

These guys have done an amazing job with this place. The seating area around the back is awesome, as you are walked through the kitchen to get there. The only downside is paying a decent amount for a burger meal and then being charged extra for mushrooms and egg. I'm sure they could afford to throw them in within the £10+ price tag. Food was very good but one of the waiters was an absolute idiot. No common sense what so ever. I asked for a high chair for a baby and he gave me just the seat with no legs and tells me that’s what they provide and to put my little one next to me in the seat. We did and realised it was unsteady and dangerous. What pissed me off was the fact he can suggest something like that. I spoke to management to find the legs who made the best of efforts but with no luck. Piece of advice employ staff with brains and common sense.

Honestly I have to say the foodbox never fails to amaze me. The food is absolutely beautiful. I took 11 of my family including my mum who is very fussy. Being a traditional Asian woman bought up on curry and chapattis so nothing can replace home food mentality. I have been before and always loved the food so was confident but apprehensive e.g will they like it, is therespace etc. I don’t know why I doubted myself! We got a vast array of food including; a sunnah platter, hayzee burger and stir fry, ultimate stir fry and of course the BIG MANC!! Which I had wanted to try for a while and it did not fail to dissapoint as a bit of a foodie I loved it. The meat was tender the portion size was perfect. The best part was my mum enjoyed it and loved the meat the fact it was tender, flavoursome and light. We had some milkshakes after the food which went down well too I tried the flake Oreo and dime combination which was recommended by one of the guys and it was fantastic. Overall the atmosphere is amazing and for a family of 11 we found it be spacious and comfertable with the staff being attentive and respectful but most importantly of all the food being perfect.

Went there with friends, one of my friends recommended this place I will start with food: we ordered, Queen of the Castle Burger and I think food was good quality ( We don’t have many good places with Halal food options) Price : If I had to pay what I think was reasonable money, I would have paid £6.5 per burger (including meal deal with soft drink) instead of £8.5 or £9.5 Customer Service: the guy who served us was ok but they don’t have waiting area and one family with young kids wanted to come in but they were told to wait outside ( Specially their manager tone was little rude ). They have limited space but with politeness they can make up for that. My friend who recommended and visited this place before also noticed that and confirmed that his last experience was good. so may be it was one off thing Overall Experience was mix ! I wish these guys all the success for future with a request to add politeness and smile to their recipe ! We ordered 3 burgers and the platter.the burgers are very tasty and very very big and for kids one burger between two is more then enought.they even asked me if we wanted to cut the burgers in half.go for the king of the castle very filling and very tasty.would definitely come again.

Iv been here few times each time quality food man the burgers are tasty and as for people saying the big guys rude his not there to flirt with you its all banter. You be nice you get it back. Food from this place is next to none and that's not any sort of exaggeration, this place needs much more recognition and I hope to see them blow up massively Bad Bits: As a owner of many businesses the chap on the till doesn't seem to realise just a smile while placing the customers orders goes along way and neither shouting at staff while the place is full isn't really a good look either I fully am aware that in situations you have no choice but to raise your voice when you have many orders coming through and the tables aren't clearing fast enough or maybe a few of the staff have slacked however maybe try to pull the staff to the side for a moment and explain to them where they need to fix up rather than ridiculing them Infront of others You the owner have been blessed with a business however it's these people who are making your business To the owner i hope you take what I have said on board and will rectify your many slates which keep reoccurring on your bad reviews P.s Please don't forget to smile to all your customers as they are the ones who are bringing the food to your table at home
