Amazing place! My Girlfriend and I come here weekly and we always love the food, all the veg always tastes so freash and the portions are great with the customer service is excellent as they always go above and beyond to ensure you are happy, even when they make a mistake they will aways make up for it! I would highly recommend the Sunday roasts!

Absolutely amazing bar - can’t recommend this place enough! Staff and locals were so friendly and welcoming. Great food, excellent service and reasonably priced! Lots of vegan options, and a great stop on the Altrincham tram crawl.. Definitely worth going out of your way to visit :-)

Just had the 3 courses for £15, the food was amazing, both quality and value for money. I can't see this offer lasting too long so take advantage of it whilst it lasts. We also took advantage of their drinks offer, the 2 for 1 on the cocktails. As with the food they were quality drinks for price.

First visit today for a Sunday roast. We both had the lamb which was amazing. Service was superb, will definitely be back to try the normal menu. Had a roast dinner takeaway yesterday and it was just as good as our dining in experience our go to roast place now and hopefully Xmas day ! Been tonight for there American themed menu, I had the burger girlfriend had Ribs and we shared BBQ wings, buffalo wings and mozzarella fries , every thing was superb. We really love this place the staff are amazing and welcome your custom. The chefs are brilliant. You must try this place the roasts are better than when the parlour used to do them.

I really like this place. I've been here twice and each time I come, or call, staff is absolutely fantastic. They're courteous, friendly and personable. The atmosphere is great, you can sit inside or outside. Food was really good. One night I got the filet steak that was on special and it was shockingly good, especially for only £16. The next time I got the Bieber chicken burger which was ok--the sauces don't quite mesh well for some reason, they clash, but I scraped it off and it was delicious, as was the sweet potato fries and onion rings. I had a latte that would rival any barista's, it was really good. I cant speak for the cocktails as I've only had wine, but they have a 2 for 1 cocktail night. The night I went was Drag Queen night and was fun. Parking across the street at the old post office parking lot or you can park in the parking structure and walk around. Not far from tram or bus station either.

Amazing food we had delivered by Shocal last Friday night! We had the baby back pork ribs, maple syrup BBQ king prawns with cornbread, the 48 hour smokey beef brisket burger with cajun fries and the Jack Daniels BBQ pulled pork burger! All perfectly cooked and so tasty! Can't wait to go back when you reopen!

Staff are friendly and attentive but have had mixed results on the food and drink on a few occasions. Dirty glasses more than once and the food is okay but could be better. Still need to try the roasts as they do seem to have high praise but the rest is just average for me.

First visit today for a Sunday cook. We both had the sheep which was astonishing. Administration was amazing, will have returned to attempt the typical menu. Had a meal supper action item yesterday and it was similarly just about as great as our eating in experience our go to cook place now and ideally Xmas day ! Been around evening time for there American themed menu, I had the burger sweetheart had Ribs and we shared BBQ wings, wild ox wings and mozzarella fries , everything was eminent. We truly love this spot the staff are stunning and welcome your custom. The cooks are splendid. You should attempt this spot the meals are superior to when the parlor used to do them.

Good value for money on the food, the wings are amazing although the random slices of cucumber on our roast dinners was really odd. Drinks are a little more expensive with a limited range of craft beers or spirits but decent enough. Enjoyable pub atmosphere though and not too busy so good for walk-ins.

I have been to the hive on 2 occasions now and Saff has been on the bar both times. One time alone (Tuesday) and tonight (Friday) with other staff. She really stands out as bar staff she is friendly and she knows her stuff! What a credit to the bar she is!!!

We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners who invited us to the Hive for food and entertainment. I've got to say both myself and my husband absolutely loved the place the second we walked through the door, Stretford isn't really known for such an exceptional experience . Honestly, cannot fault this place. During these crazy circumstances, The Hive have managed to sustain restaurant quality, in takeaway form, and it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT 🤤 We got the American Box of goodies over new year, which was amazing value for money. The burgers were incredible, the starters were delicious- and the brownies were next level YUM. Not to mention the service you get here. The staff are absolutely lovely and all trying to make the best of these uncertain times. We need to keep supporting The Hive- one of a kind and a gem to Stretford! P.S don’t miss out on the frozen cocktails!!

I have been to The Hive five times now since it opened and I shall definitely be back again. The venue is large enough for social distancing whilst still retaining a welcoming atmosphere. I've tried the Sunday roast, the vegan breakfast with added poached eggs and the fish and chips and chicken kiev from the evening menu. All were exemplary as are the cocktails. Especially the smokey old fashioned that comes with added theatre! Great ambience in both the day and evening. Super friendly staff and excellent table service. Staff maintain a sterile, socially distanced environment so you know you are safe. Can't say enough good things about this place. Go check it out!

Went down for lunch and had the Hive burger on the recommendation of the owner, it was great. A huge burger cooked to perfection and a side of triple cooked chips. They have their portion sizes sorted; a beer, the meal, room enough for dessert and you're left feeling _just_ on the other side of full and satisfied without waddling home. Worth every penny. Going back soon for the breakfast, it looked amazing.

Best Vegan options in Stretford! We ate here as a family of 5 on Sunday. 2 Adults 3 Kids. Kids had the Roast dinner which was huge, fresh & tasty. We both had the vegan burgers one of which was a special that day along with another vegan special which was a chickpea fritter for starters. The service was friendly and although we were seated outside due to covid it felt warm & cosy with large umbrellas & outside heaters. Great Menu that lived up to expectations 5 Stars!

Just Marvelous ! had the premium diner for two box to take away and it was every thing we could have hoped for, lovely starters and two memorable mains followed by a orange chocolate mouse that could grace any 5* table. I like the idea that you get what Chef serves, just chose meat or veggie and he'll give you the best the season has to offer. All for less than a Chinese takeaway ! I just hope they are charging enough to stay around for ever.

I recently went to this diner with 12 friends when we still could, we had a separate room so we could have some privacy and make noise. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious for a new establishment we were delighted with the level of friendliness and attention we had from the smiling staff. Love this place! We went in for a meal when the lockdown was (briefly) relaxed in Trafford and the food and service were brilliant. The layout and atmosphere felt safe, and it was clear that they were taking care to keep guests feeling safe. We had a Sunday Roast delivery last night, as they are currently only able to provide takeaway. The food was delicious, best roast dinner in ages, and we will definitely be ordering again!

There are no booths and seating is like your a little on show, so it’s not really intimate or private It can be quite loud as the building is minimalist and the sound echos. We had a great evening on our Wedding Anniversary and Chris one of the owners was so welcoming. It was great to be able to go out for the first time since lockdown but even then the food was great, the drinks were cold and it almost felt normal again. The staff have done a great job at making the Hive COVID secure and the one way system, hand cleanser on every table and temporature checks all added to that. Also with loads of space it didn't feel claustrophobic at all. Finally I think the venue looks great. I particularly liked the mural by a local artist and the vinyl floor.

What a FABULOUS evening! We have been waiting to visit The Hive for a while, but have held back due to Covid. Very good Covid precautions including temperature taking on arrival. Excellent and made you feel safe and at ease as soon as you walked through the door. Staff are AMAZING. VERY friendly and professional at the same time. Perfect measure of attentiveness. Front of house was super – special mentions to Josh and Alicia. Drinks were fantastic and you never had to wait long to be refilled and refreshed. The décor of the place was impressive and looked great. Classy and modern, not tacky or cheap. And last but not least – THE FOOD! Was not expecting it to be SO GOOD! My partner had Risotto and it is a dish I would not normally go for myself. I tried it – delicious! I would order this myself next time. I had the Hake Loin. WOW! The fish was cooked to perfection and served with very tasty and well spiced chickpeas and spinach. If you like chips and who doesn’t, you must try the triple cooked chips here. Best I have tasted in a long time. And I like chips! HUGE congratulations to the chef and their team, who we could see through the kitchen window from where we were seated. This was a nice touch to see our food being prepared by professional chefs. They looked very calm and professional at all times even when very busy, when we were leaving. No drama or stress in that kitchen! THANK YOU to all the staff at The Hive. We had a wonderful experience. DEFINITELY going back soon. And all this, down the road from where we live, in STRETFORD! We had a soft play party bus planned for a joint Birthday party for our two boys and a few days prior to the event, it was cancelled. After trying many places to re-arrange the party at short notice with no joy, I called the Hive and spoke to Maya who said that the owner, Chris, would call me back the following day. Chris called me as promised, we had a great conversation and he came to the rescue. I was amazed by how accommodating Chris and his team were in helping us out – we were able to use the Hive for the party at very short notice and they opened early to accommodate us and the children’s entertainer we had booked. Chris, Jamie, Maya and everyone at the Hive, we are extremely grateful. Us, our boys and everyone who came had an amazing time and you have customers for life. We will be back very soon. Thank you again The Hive, you made our day!!!

Good service but everything just seemed a bit chaotic. We had the Sunday roast which sadly came out way too quick for the price, and we were right - instant mash and very undercooked vegetables. The portion sizes were great, but it would have been better with less done amazing than lots done mediocre. The gravy and Yorkshire Pudding saved it! As somewhere local I’ve had my eye on to visit, it’s sad to see somewhere which clearly had a lot of effort gone into be spoiled over time. Examples: commissioned wall art covered by children’s scribbles, faux ivy and wood lattice everywhere, loud TV adverts with nothing to watch, and sticky tables and menus. What to say - average with room for improvement?
