A.Your destination for tasty Persian dishes in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
We ordered Joojeh*, and shabzi beef stew. Both were really good.
*Joojeh is chicken skewer with rice and two grilled tomatoes.
For dessert, we went for Faloodeh" and Bastani Sonnati'. I didn't really like the Faloodeh, but the safaron ice cream was quite nice.
"Faloodeh is Home made, rose water flavour sorbet with fine rice noodles, with added lemon juice or raspberry.
'Home made, traditional saffron and pistachio ice cream.
Finally, I want to mention that they have a quiet clean toilet.
s. u.Such a lovely place. It was taken aback by how good n fresh their chicken was. Lamb was an absolute delight, no smell at all very fragrant, well spiced food. My kids absolutely loved it. My 20 months old was eating on her own , she liked it so much!! The staff is so polite, so friendly. Clean place, lovely restroom. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend had bread to start, we both had different kebabs for main and I had a baklava for desert (the best I’ve ever eaten!!) Atmosphere was lovely and chilled, the food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly and polite. Will definitely be back, can’t recommend enough :)

From the starter platter to all our main dishes, Kebabs and Grilled Salmon with Sabzi polo was just to die for. The cocktails we had were pretty good and great value. Thank you guys , Blessings.
K. B.Ordered from here many times but never visited the restautant. Food is better in the restaurant. Only down side is service is a little slow. Waitress was so lovely though. Menu in the restaurant ideally would have a discription of the dishes but everything we ordered was so tasty and very delicious. Sauce served in plastic pots the same delivery not really restaurant standards again they were absolutley amazing just presentation let them down. Overall im probabley being picky. I will definitely return as we both enjoyed our food emensley. Keep up the good work just a few tweeks needed. Thank you 👍

Omg !!there home made saffron ice cream and sorbet ice flavoured with rose water ... exquisite so yummy !!!
All in all what an absolute complete gem this restaurant is.
Very reasonably priced, great quality food , to suit all tastes, highly recommended this place.

A. A.Visited this restaurant when I was in Newcastle. Didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very clean restaurant, the service was very good and the food was very tasty. I ordered some spicy chicken and rice and it delivered on flavour.

T. C.Wow wow and wow, we are regular customers and often dine here and the food and service is always fantastic but last night you suppressed yourselves. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, this didn't phase the staff, they where lovely and welcoming and going above and beyond.
There was a large table in who did spoil ours, and other diners experience by letting their children run wild in the restaurant. Especially around our table. I actually couldn't believe how ignorant they where to the whole issue, however I had a quite word with one of the waitresses and she spoke with the family and sorted it, so all was good.
Thank you again for a fantastic evening, beautiful food especiay the soltani, can't wait to return.

Great service at very reasonable prices in upmarket surroundings.
Not too crowded but not empty either. Lots of tables. We ddn't need to book on Monday at 7pm. Not full of students despite it being in a student area.
Even though it was table service I did go to the counter once or twice to get drinks from the well stocked bar.
Overall it was pretty amazing and I can't wait to go back. I eat out a lot and I thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

It seems like a roll of the dice with each item as to whether it's going to be prepared well, the food is often really great but also often not up to standard. Gets my award for the most watery doogh in the world.

It is rather a small restaurant with few places so a reservation was recommended. We had very tasty appetizers like falafel, hummus and haloumi. The mains were also delicious and more than adequate. There are barbecue skewers lamb or chicken and many other dishes. For this rice is eaten. The prices are moderate.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Essen. Wir hatten Glück noch einen Tisch ergattert zu haben, da wir vorher nicht reserviert hatten. Es ist eher ein kleines Restaurant mit wenigen Plätzen deshalb empfhielt sich eine Reservierung. Wir hatten sehr leckere Vorspeisen wie Falafel, Hummus und Haloumi. Die Hauptspeisen waren auch sehr lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Es gibt Grillspieße Lamm oder Hähnchen und noch viele andere Gerichte. Dazu wird Reis gegessen. Die Preise sind moderat.
