The food is delicious. The place is spacious and the decor is beautiful. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly.. My orders were lamb mandi, chicken mandi and beef okra, all of which were delicious and the best thing was that they offered us baklava and hospitality tea.

Perfect taste for everything single dish we've ordered for 2 adults and 2 kids we ordered Special Mixed Grills, Smoked chicken mandi in the main course and konafa in a sweet dish. Food was good with enough quantity and quality, mixed grills were mouthwatering meat was juicy and tender one other side mandi was accurate in spices and chicken was perfect. However, konafa looks good but mozzarella cheese was so salty and no ricotta cheese staff was too cooperative. Complimentary Cardimon was nice, everything cost us approx £39. Highly recommended

Our favourite restaurant in town - so glad to have it re-opening in a lovely new venue. Food is wonderful, a great range for carnivores and veggies/vegans alike (the Foul, and Alsham salads are delicious). Great experience, great food, very tasty. Great service and pleasant staff, especially the waiters. The only complaint I have is the toilets, the lights switch off automatically so quick after switching on when the motion sensors see you. Please make the lights stay on for longer or fit motion sensors inside the toilets instead of only having them outside the toilets! It's very annoying! You can't see anything unless you step outside the toilets.

Came here last night. Service was brilliant. Very polite and helpful staff. I ordered the Spicy Hummus which was fresh and really tasty, then I had the Lamb Tahgine which was absolutely lovely. Really tasty. Would have been nice with a side plate of rice/naan or chips but was sooo tasty regardless. Meat fell off the bone as it should. Had cheesecake for dessert which was the only let down as it seemed like generic store-bought cheesecake but was still nice i guess. Didnt have Apple tea but the mint tea was a good second choice. Will come again for another Tahgine!.

Had the loveliest time here the other day, hadn't had Lebanese food before and everything was delicious! We had vine leaves and halloumi to start, shish taouk and biryani prawns for main, and got given complementary falafel to start and mhalbeh to finish, and every single part was amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely, it was the waitress' first day and she did a fantastic job, and the portions were so huge we managed to feed ourselves twice over! Definitely recommend, the layout of the restaurant wasn't as I expected, but it made sense when I realised the amount of takeaway orders they get. Great food, lovely staff, couldn't recommend more. (The fresh juices were also amazing, the lemon and mint was incredible)

Ibrahim seems to be the man in charge. Great hospitality...started wih flat bread and humus few olives and an nice salad. Shwarma wih saffron vermicili rice is really fab. Mixed meat platter is to die for so fresh nice bowl fries to go wih it. Defo need to try his place. Get it on his map.

Took a bit of finding as we hadn’t realised Alsham restaurant location had changed since our last visit! But it was worth it and now we know where it is we’ll be back!!! The choice of food is great, I had a selection of starters and bread which was enough really. My husband had the lamb Tagine which he loved, despite have to rush it down to get across to St James park in time for kickoff! I finished off with a refreshing mint tea and a lovely sticky sweet pastry. Can’t wait to come back when we’re not in such a hurry! So warm and welcoming , highly recommend this place.

I've been to this restaurant quite a lot recently they offer tasty and mouth watering foods for example the biryani, shawrama, chicken mendi, kebabs, tajin, and the arabic ice cream is probably the best thing in this restaurant not to say there is other really nice Lebanese food that you will never forget the taste of it. Another thing is they offer a really nice Lebanese atmosphere.third thing is they have the nicest and kindest staff that you will ever see. 5 stars definitly, keep up the great work

I ate here atleast twice a week when I was studying in Newcastle. Their platters are big and the food is very tasty. They offer a range of options from sandwiches to grilled meats to rice dishes and tajines. You can always switch things up every visit depending on your mood. The staff is also very friendly and the service is amazing. I've been back home in NY for over a year now and I really miss this place. When I return to Newcastle, this will be my first restaurant I will eat in. Stay safe everybody!

Without a doubt my favourite place to eat in Newcastle. The food is always perfect, portion sizes are generous, staff are attentive and welcoming and the general atmosphere is relaxed. The magical environment that is Alsham is not to be understated. The chicken shawarma glistens like diamonds reflecting sunlight. The taste is indescribable - heavenly to say the least. The staff are amazingly friendly also

An authentic lebanese restaurant which offers Middle-Eastern style food which is fast becoming my favorite cuisine because it offers grilled meats such as chicken or lamb on skewers or the kofka (minced) grilled meats, or shawarma (thinly sliced) in wraps. Manly ordered and served with freshly baked flatbreads/vermicelli rice and fattoush (Mediterranean salad with crispy bread bits). Great front of house experience, only it was slightly slow when I was there with a group.

With 2 x lebeanese bread on the side.
