Had a wonderful time at Longhorns having the bottomless brunch. The staff were friendly, attentive and approachable. The food was delicious and there was lots of variety. The food was of both great quality and definitely of great quantity, we ended up taking a whole lot of food home afterwards that I expect to be eating for a few days at least. Also the variety of drinks on offer for the brunch were fantastic. I'd definitely recommend catching this sometime.

Very friendly staff, and good ambiance of an "American-esque" look on things. However, the burger I had wasn't as promised. Won't comment further but let's just say there are better burger restaurants around Newcastle than this one. 👍 Though their fries are really good, I think it ranks as one of the best fries I had.

Went there last week in a group of four and I had the Chicken Burger, with Fries. The service was very good, however the food was bit of a let down. The portions were on the small side, especially the burger which came in a small sesame bun rather than the advertised brioche, whilst the fries consisted mostly of small bits with quite a sweet taste. On the plus side the Goose Island ale was lovely!

I thought that the burger I ordered was fine but, overall, left the restaurant with the impression it is expensive for the style of food served. I was irked by a 50p charge for a portion of mayo (no charge was mentioned when I placed the order). At £3.50 for a cola, the soft drinks struck me as unduly expensive (unfortunately no drinks menu was available, the server listed the drinks and foolishly I didn't ask the price).

Great place for meat lovers, with some good deals too. No hot drinks, not even hot water. Steak was well cooked, tasty but dry. Chicken was very tasty, crispy with beautiful marinate. Not dry at all. Pulled pork was delicious and succulent.

Loved it, food was AMAZING. I was starving, i am currently pregnant and Longhorns definitely sorted me out with one amazing meal. Everything was cooked with love and perfection. Il be coming back on my next visit to New castle. The customer service was top notch and very welcoming, the venue itself is decorated with great style and has a good cosy ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed eating here, definitely recommend this spot!

Lovely friendly staff and huge amounts of tasty food! We barely got halfway through our sharing platter between 2 of us, it could easily have fed 3. It's very good value for the quality too. The only thing is the high stools are a bit uncomfortable to sit on for a long time.

My husband and I booked a table tonight for the Thursday and Sunday evening steak meals. ( Choice of steaks, fries, chips, jacket or salad with choice of sauce and either a pint, wine or soft drink) Was very pleased with the service of the 2 ladies serving and what excellent food cooked to perfection. It was very enjoyable and just wish you had a place in Derby as would be going every other weekend. Much better and cheaper than Miller and Carter over the road. I thought I would update my review as it's no longer a steak restaurant but now a Hamburger bar. The burgers were very good, tasty with plenty of fillings. The fries were also nice. The seating is back to stools and high bench tables. Priced a bit on the expensive end and felt very much more a takeaway set up rather than a sit in / restaurant type place. But you can get a beer with your burger, which is a plus ! I would return for another burger as an occasional treat whilst in Newcastle.

Arrived as a party of 3 lads looking for something substantial, walk in without a booking and was able to get straight in. Our assistant welcomed us giving us the option to sit down stairs. Decor, as you'd expect for longhorns, rustic wild west themed including our table which was a bit wobbly but I sorted that out with a vit of folded paper under the leg👍😉. Food was good too, the 3 of shared a platter of burgers meat & sides along with a few beverages which hit the spot. Great service from our waitress, she was very friendly, helpful & chatty, credit to her. I'm sure we'll be back.

Man alive, all you can eat Wednesday chicken wings. Delicious hot sauce, hot, hot wings, fries with the house snake dusting on it. But to top it off a cold beer, IPA. Only managed 3 buckets of wings. But the leader board is a challenge a wing too far for me.

Longhorn's is back with a bang! New and improved menu. Not quite the gargantuan portions there were in the past, but it's far more about quality this time around. Still left needing a doggy bag. Another Meerkat 2-4-1 deal. I had Mexican chicken in brioche bun with chips and coleslaw which was good. No beers unless you like IPA, just lager and the wine choice was red or white! But the red was lovely!! Meal served on a metal plate which was spinning round the smooth table and seats are all stools so glad service was quick as I like a chair- sorry I'm getting old!😄Service was quick & friendly and there's a downstairs area too

Went for dinner last night on the basis of these reviews and the pictures (mainly the pictures). I'm embarrassed to say two grown men couldn't finish The Board, but I'm blaming it on the big lunch we had earlier. Perfectly done and because it's slow cooked already, was served quickly. No room room anything else unfortunately, we had to get a doggy bag as it was but the desserts looked very tempting. Great service and good value, I'd certainly recommend it.

Bought off Just Eat a couple of times, brisket is phenomenal and has a great flavour but the only let down was the boxes it came in. I don't think the cardboard boxes chosen are very good insulators as food was wasn't hot on arrival but other than that excellent service and delivery time.

Really enjoyed our night here. Food was lush and plentiful. The menu could do with being a little more descriptive but just ask if something isn't clear. The chairs and tables are a tad uncomfortable when sat too long but nothing compares to their food. It was so nice. Hot and sweet bbq sauce and the burger is one of the best I've had. Great place in Newcastle. They have two floors of their restaurant and we were seated in the entrance level. Turned up around 8 pm and the staff were friendly and chatty and seated it's quickly. They helped me order as I wasn't sure what meats to try on their meat boards. Went with chicken wings and pulled pork my meal came with two sides had a drink and the total was £17 not bad value for good quality barbecue food

Very good quality barbeque. The meat was the way it was supposed to be. Prices are also very reasonable regarding the quality you get. Some menu items complementary to a BBQ experience are missing, but this is mostly personal taste. If corn was added to the menu, and some cuts of meat could be ordered separately, it would add to the over all experience. Staff is friendly.

The service was very lacking, including our drinks order being left on the bar and I had to point out we were waiting for them at our table. Also the meat was lukewarm after I'd pointed this out it was dealt with promptly, the chef came over to apologise and offer a good will gesture however he was quite bolshy. There was only one other table with customers so no excuse really.

Booked ahead Friday 7th August for a bit of what we used to take for granted a night out. Special occasion being our 27th wedding anniversary and the scoff didn't disappoint, we went for Baby back ribs to start then hit the 20oz little Tomma and 20oz T Bone which were cooked to perfection but no way could we Finnish them, they were massive so they were boxed up and went on to make another fantastic meal for our eldest daughter and her boyfriend who expertly crafted a cheeky french stick torpedo with rocket vine tomatoes and melted Leicester. Staff were brilliant and were even able to conjure up some of the legendary pit beans for us from nowhere as ingredients were in short supply, we aim to return and can easily recommend Longhorns no problem

First visit last night and the sharing platter with calamari etc. was amazing. One of the chicken legs however was a bit off I'd say, was replaced without raising an eyebrow. The steaks (ribeye and T-Bone) were amazing and the salads were really tasty as well. The wine selection is great. If you love steak you'll love this place. Plenty of flavour and reasonable prices. It was my son's 18th today and he loves American food so we thought it would be a lovely place to go as a family . The staff were wonderful, quick and friendly . The chef sent out wings before our meal and the waiting staff offered my son a free shot which he isn't interested in acholic drink but his brother helped him out lol . We was wonderfully stuffed but my sons ordered a brownie which the waiting staff came out with a candle in the brownie and sang birthday to him , I was very touched coz he finds eating out stressful but they made him feel special. As they were eating their desserts the chef came out and give him a beer from all the chefs . This made his night so special and memorable. Having been advised by my cousin that this was a good place to eat we trekked from the RVI to what seemed like the tyne foreshore! On arrival... great venue... and more important... service... great staff.... ok some beers on menu board now not on offer so change the menu! Food was very good... but sweet potato fries which cost an extra pound.... DO NOT put salt on them... let customer decide...you are not alone with this fad of extras with added salt.

Went solely because its in meercat meals. Ordered a 3 meat 2 sides tray. Brisket, ribs and wings. The brisket was actually more of a pulled beef because when you think of brisket its usually in slices. Technically they didnt lie. 2 wings and 2 ribs. Portion size was very small. I actually had to go somewhere else to fill up afterwards. Staff were pleasant enough and the decor was well suited. The music was very good though. So if youve meercat meals its worth a vist but i wouldn't pay full price though and just go to man vs food in shields instead

Steak and chips were fine. The sauces were disgusting. Original sauce was a thimble full of thick white sauce with absolutely no flavour. It was supposed to be whiskey sauce , they had obviously used a base ssuce and neglected to add whiskey or any flavorings. They eventually brought a new one which was now at least half a pint in portion size. It tasted like they had taken the previous sauce added water/milk and then put a full shot of Jack Daniels in it. It was not edible in any way as it was completely watery. I would go again but would try the basic gravy as I would hope they could not get thst one so very wrong.

If you're a fan of slow cooked american style bbq this is good. Food sometimes gets cold quick. The big plates are good value for money. The smaller plates can be a bit expensive for what you get. Not many beers but the ones they have are good. Downstairs lacks atmosphere so try sit up top.
