J. M.I've eaten in over 1,000,000 fish and chip shops around the UK, with my favourites being the Italian chippies in the East of Scotland. That's what Giuliani's reminds me of. The chips are beautiful and never greasy, the deep fried black pudding outstanding and the brothers are a breath of fresh air in these days of miserable rip-off takeaway shops. Also offer deep-fried mars bars, jam sarnies and pizzas. Outstanding stuff.
A. J. G.Although I no longer live in Newburn, I make a trip here whenever I’m after a fish supper. I LOVE their food, the way it’s cooked, AND the way it’s presented. I bypass my local (Gormans) to visit this fab little chippy. Nothing nicer than freshly cooked fish n chips, to be eaten with a wooden chip fork. Yum!
G. H.The chips are very hitty-missy here but mostly the food is very nice, I think it would be great if they sold kebabs and pizzas here, one time the chips were beautiful and very tasty, but the next time, some were burned and greasy, some days are better than others
