L. S.Had a Just Eat delivery from here. Arrived on time and still hot. I got the Masala Fish with dip which were both lovely. I also got a Garlic Nan and a Lamb Karahi. tender pieces of lamb in a savory slightly spicy sauce.. both were also nice. I got free spiced onions and a poppadom which got eaten before i even opened the other goodies, it was very nice indeed.. i love spiced onions 😁👌👍
D. F.Tonight was my first time visiting Khan's and everything about it was EXCELLENT!! They were slammed with take away orders, but they never slacked on diners in the restaurant. Very good service and DELICIOUS food. Khan's will now be my go-to for takeaway and restaurant dining.
S. A.Excellent food. Now have a place to come for food when we are up in Newcastle visiting my son. We find it so difficult finding a good curry when we are away from home. We live in Leeds but usually have to travel to Bradford for a good curry. Khans is definitely as good as Bradford
M. P. M.Food was nice and staff was friendly but it took them a lot of time to serve the food. They have to increase the number of the staff.
C. S.2nd day in Newcastle and tried this restaurant but can surely say perfect food as compared to Chillies restaurant from which I ordered yesterday. If I can compare 5 stars to Khan's restaurant Vs 0 star to Chillies restaurant in all aspects. Will be very happy if can tag Chillies restaurant which I feel is totally disgusting in name of Indian restaurant.
H. S.First visit and will definitely be going back. Staff gave us a warm friendly welcome and although initially we were not aware that it was a set menu for new years eve, which at first felt a bit disappointing, however we should have realised we it would be. We sat back and viewed the choices and waited in anticipation of the food arriving. It was extremely busy, but nothing was too much trouble and they happily opened our wine we had taken,and constantly confirmed we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying the food. We were indeed! It was delicious! All four of us agreed it was the best we have tasted. We will look forward to our next experience. Thank you to all at khan's in particular the lady working on new years eve. Mr Khan who bid us farewell and thanked us for our custom.
V. H.Lovely food, very busy and we went to collect at the specific time but had to wait 15 minutes as they were busy. When I got home they had made a mistake on our order, we called hoping they'd deliver the correct items but the only way they offered to correct their mistake was for us to go back with our order for them to re-do it.
Bearing in mind we already waited 40 minutes to collect and had to wait an additional 15 minutes as our order wasn't ready. Also I drove from gosforth/kenton area which adds more time to the wait for our food order.
Ended up accepting the order as is without much customer service to correct issue. The food was nice but wouldn't order takeout or delivery again but would go back for a dine in experience so any errors could be fixed on the spot.
C. d.My favourite place to get Indian food in Heaton - it’s been my family’s favourite Indian restaurant since I was little and since moving back I’ve ordered here a few times a month for a few years now and I’ve never had anything wrong late or cold - always delicious! A. B.The service was shocking. Waited an absolute age for the starter, which wasn't very nice. The main however was amazing. The chicken tikka masala is definitely worth a return. Even though the poor waiters were understaffed super busy to the point cutlery and plates weren't handed to you, they were launched at you. Bonus that you can take your own alcohol.
C. A.Terrific food and great service from attentive staff. The restaurant was also nicely done out. Hands down the best special mixed grill I've had, plus excellent side dishes. We left positively bursting. BYOB encouraged.

D. S.This was a great discovery, food was excellent. A super naan! It is also a BYO so really worth the visit. People are friendly and it was fine to bring our little one. Price wise was not expensive at all. They also provide take away.

J. M.Khan's has always been my go to takeout, it's consistently amazing evert time. I have never took the time to leave a review but the last order I had blew me away. It was soooo good. I ordered a Lamb curry which was jam packed full of flavour, a great texture and the lamb was the best I've ever had from there so soft and tender and huge amounts too!
J. M. F.Such a main stay Restaurant we are so lucky to have just along our road! The menu has always been of the best, but also they are happy to make small adaptations if you ask. C. A.Excellent restaurant all round. Lovely staff, very attentive and cheerful. Beautifully decorated with comfortable chairs ( actually carved with Khan's logo on!). The food was all very tasty, between our group we tried various starters, sides and mains and all loved it.
The restaurant is unlicenced so don't forget to bring your own alcohol if you want it. If you forget, Sainsbury's is a minutes walk away.
Well priced, highly recommended.

S. R.Ordered for Takeaway via ubereats, food came on time and was very tasty. However, 2 naans I ordered were missing. I called the restaurant regarding this to which the staff were very sorry and helpful. The manager said he would get my naans as soon as possible. To my surprise he came very quick considering the restaurant is 5 miles away from my home. I must say they have splendid customer service and the food's delicious!

For one calender year my wife has been remembering the best tarka daal she has ever had; and my daughter, the best chicken karahi she has ever had. A. I.I visit khans regularly and am never disappointed. I would like to thank the manager and the waiters who are always kind to me and never fail to recommend amazing dishes. The food not only looks great but tastes great. No matter how busy the restaurant is, food is cooked to a high standard, which can’t be said about all restaurants. Interior decor is hand carved wood, from counter to chairs. A huge chandelier is hanging from the first floor through to the ground floor, all this combined creates an amazing atmosphere, comfortable and welcoming.

M. A.Until my last visit I'd only ever ordered a take out through Food Hub, I didnt realise it was actually a restaurant. The last occasion I was close by and ordered through Food Hub for collection. The restaurant was empty but it was only just past opening time, but the restaurant looks really clean. This is the best Indian take out I've ever had, it's my go to if I'm in the area.

Wow- these guys are friendly, keen, professional and very careful with dietary requirements - called me three times to confirm ingredients and offer good alternatives- superb. Thank you.
R. M.BYOB is a great idea anyway and the food was really good tasty, well prepared and 'light' on oil which enhances flavours. First visit but recommended. Amazing chandelier too!

S.an extensive menu at this pakistani-indian restaurant, confusing in some ways not knowing the different nuances of the ten described cooking styles. halal. comfortable. good sized portions, but expensive per dish. our young waiter was in top form, selling us up and suggesting too much food for our party of three. he should have known better than to do that. when i went to pay with a mastercard, he said "well of course we prefer cash." after 4 tries managed to "get my card to work." the food was very tasty, not greasy and spiced very nicely. service was lacking to me, but may be appreciated by others.

N. S.Went to the restaurant on Saturday 30th November 2013 and was greeted with very friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help you. There was a very good menu and the food arrived very hot and was the best curry I have had for a long time. The Keema Naan was different than other places but important thing it was made with fresh ingredients
