A. K.Found this place purely by chance on Google when looking for somewhere to eat near the cinema. Looked fantastic so we booked a table which was simple enough and arrived to be greeted and seated swiftly and politely.
The staff were fantastic, and couldn’t do enough. Their service went above and beyond and besides from taking our orders etc they were chatty, interactive, pleasant and helpful.
There is a vast selection of drinks, namely cocktails which have clearly had a lot of thought put into them. There are typical ‘regular’ cocktails with their own twist, and there are various of their own creations. Not only were they delicious but also presented very well.
The food was incredible. We had starters and mains but sadly no time for dessert. Our plates were presented very well, but the beauty was not just skin deep - they were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. It was honestly one of the nicest meals we had eaten in a while.
Aside from the food and service, the venue itself is brilliant. The interior design is exceptional and it has a fantastic vibe. It has clearly been completed to a high standard.
No bad points at all. If I’m being picky, the music perhaps could be targeted more towards dining, though it was far from bad. We also paid by card, as I had no cash on me, but the machine did not ask if I wished to leave a tip which is a shame because the service absolutely deserved it. I will definitely be tipping extra next time.
I also understand the need for QR code menus, although I prefer a physical menu. I think that, although the design is very aesthetic it could be formatted in more of a mobile friendly manner in this instance.
We will certainly be returning soon and will not hesitate to recommend Leila Lily’s to anyone. Considering it has been open a couple of years, I am sad I have not discovered this place earlier and truly believe it is a little hidden gem that more people need to experience. 10/10.
R. R.This place is absolutely lovely. Its got great decor and is very 'instagrammable' if you're into that sort of thing. We had afternoon tea and it was amazing. It was very beautifully presented in decorative birdcage stands. The food was absolutely divine. We were a party of 6 and had two people with dietary requirements which they were more than happy to work around.

W. H.Warm welcome at Leila Lily's. Atmosphere and decor impressive. Myself mother and daughter booked an afternoon tea. 1 vegetarian option. Choose the cocktail to accompany the Afternoon Tea which was delicious. When food arrived presentation was fabulous and the friendly hostess took her time and explained what everything was. The downside was
the extremely small portions of the savoury items, the beef chillie was fatty and to spicy, my daughters hummus was overly salty. The sweets was the best I've had at an afternoon tea however I think it was overpriced for what we received for the 3 of us.

Everyone that worked there were so lovely especially a young lady called Tyla who was so helpful. We had the afternoon tea which was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

H.Went to Leila Lily's on a hen do to Newcastle .We booked cocktail making as part of the day and it was worth every penny!We had our own area in the bar and there were plenty of staff to help out with food which was excellent .The cocktails were chosen by the bride to be and were very scrummy and good fun to make .It was a great way of meeting lots of lovely friends ,colleagues of the bride in a pleasant environment.Would reccomend this if visiting Newcastle x

Staff were friendly and the cocktails were nice…although our table was wobbly so we kept having to adjust it.
The decor is really nice inside and it’s a good atmosphere.
What I would say is it’s not cheap so if they have a happy hour I’d recommend going then.

I. C. E. M.Right in the centre of Newcastle first class restaurant service with a smile. Clean premises staff brilliant warm and friendly covid aware and rules enforced mask worn at your descretion. Food of the finest order. Everything was cooked to perfection. Facilities first class clean and hygienic. Overall a wonderful experience gladly go back

My visit was for cocktails and afternoon tea.
Beautiful decor, excellent customer service , amazing food and the little Layla cocktail was most refreshing cocktails iv ever tasted and iv tasted a fair few.
The tea it’s self was beautifully presented and tasted every bit as good. We couldn’t Finnish it all as there was so much choice and so rich flavours. Compliments to the chef.
The social distancing that was put into place was great and very well executed.
Our next visit will be for lunch and more cocktails.

E. J.Me and my partner tried Leila Lily’s last night for a date night and it was really lovely!
The service was good, the young lady with the pinky red hair was very helpful and friendly.
The food was great. We got:
- The bread and butter (amazing texture and flavour for being just bread 😄 9/10)
- The salmon for me (8/10, the oily sauce and muscles went really well with the salmon)
- The burger for my partner (9/10, the meat was good quality)
- Passionfruit and mango cheesecake for dessert (10/10, absolutely gorgeous!)
The only thing I would change is maybe a bit quicker service but I’m really pushing to find something.

Once inside there is no step free access to the bar/restaurant from the hotel reception or from the bar restaurant to the accessible toilet. Also being downstairs in the Spa all was in darkness when I went. Not ideal and a shame for an otherwise fabulous venue.
S. B.Leila Lily’s was our lucky find for the weekend. It is gorgeous inside, very chic and no word of a lie possibly has the best cocktails we've ever had! The menu is nature-themed and the bar's decor matches this beautifully, with wall displays, tables, and the bar area itself all having stunning floral arrangements.
We visited on a Sunday night, so we were fortunate enough to pretty much have the bar (and the bartender) to ourselves. We ordered the Sweet Little Leila (the one with the macaron on top) and the Apple Scrumpers Secret Tipple, (a cocktail with all the flavours of an apple and rhubarb pie!) and they were both so good that we wanted to work our way through the whole menu!
Definitely worth a visit and can’t wait to go back!
