Ordered on the MyMcDonalds app and my order came quickly even though it was very busy. They brought me the wrong burger but within a couple of minutes of telling a member of staff passing by she gave me the right burger. She was lovely and sorted it quickly.

usually horrifically busy but i’ve never had an issue apart from having to wait a while. if you’re coming and planning on ordering on the screens though be sure to keep an eye out for your order number flashing on the screen because 99% of the time the receipt printers are broken so you’ll miss your number if you aren’t careful

Tried the McPlant and enjoyed it. Almost didn't though as it was missing from our order. When my husband went back he was told 'well it was in the bag' it took another member of staff to point out to our server that it was actually sat waiting pretty much in front of him to go in the bag and it hadn't been put in already at all!

this place is really a good place to get your classic standard mcdonalds. however, you do have to know that at certain time such as lunch and dinner there is normally a large wait for the food but as this is in the centre of town there isn't that much you can do about it. during the mornings however it is less busy so you can always hop in for a quick breakfast

Very busy McDonald's. Lots of self service machines so very quick to order but there was a bit of a wait for my order. To be fair to them though they did get through a lot of orders very quickly.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and clearly not shy of a bit of hard work. But it was very busy and they were understaffed meaning it took a long time to get my order, it wasn't as clean as it could have been and bins were overflowing. Although to be fair one of the staff emptied mine as I was using it. This wasn't helped by seemingly a large number of customers who were too lazy to take their own rubbish to the bin, expecting the staff to do it for them.

Other than a group of teenage girls racially abusing the doorman and frightening my children with their profanity and aggressive behaviour, the experience was wonderful.

It was very busy but the meal arrived quickly. I had the chilli chicken wrap meal deal and it was very tasty even though it was almost cold. The staff were really busy keeping the tables free and clean. The restaurant is on three levels, with access to top and lower levels via stairs. I saw no lift so not ideal for infirm, disabled or small children in pushchairs.

Bit of a wait at all macdonalds these days. Delivery couriers create many of these problems, needs to be a better system to allow individual customers some courtesy.

New social distancing measures were put in place, making the experience great. Customers can still use the touch screen order system and choose to either eat in or take away. Eating in would mean selecting one of the number umbrellas already situated on top of tables, and having the food delivered straight to you. Once done with your meal, you should leave all your food wrappings there and a member of staff would take care of the rest, including sanitising your table. Take away procedure is still the same, but with this current system, the number of people queuing in front of the counter is considerably lessened. Track and trace codes are also posted all through out so customers can easily update their location and details at all times. Customers and staff alike were also encouraged to wear face masks at all times within the establishment (other than when eating and drinking). Great experience. Made me feel at ease with eating out during these tough times. Enjoyed my Double Sausage McMuffin thoroughly!

It's McDonald's so you know what you are getting from the start. Touch screens make ordering nice and easy, staff keep the restaurant tidy as much as possible and the food is always decent enough. When you want a burger, and you want it quickly, McDonald's does what's required every time. Their specials are always simple yet different enough to warrant a try and change nice and frequently. And don't get me started on breakfast as I am pretty much addicted to their double sausage and egg McMuffin meals, lol.

I would give 5 stars but they forget to add something to your meal every time! Today they forgot to add cheeseburger to my takeaway meal, a few days ago they forgot dips for chicken selects and before that cutlery for salad... Every time I go there I feel scammed. It would be fine if it happened rarely, but it happens freaking too often, like 50% of the time they forget to add something!!!! I go here a few times per week, so I know, but I think I'm about to stop going here.

It's a McDonald's so same as everywhere else, premises is nice but the queue to be served was long and someone was talking to the lady at the counter so we all had to wait 15 minutes before the queue started moving and they finally put a second person on. Other than the delays in serving it was decent.

I absolutely love McDonald's and this is my first fast food restaurant I would always go to. I think all the staff are friendly and there is lots of wheelchair access and if you don't like talking to staff then there are the machines that you could order your food off which I think there's loads of time. There is also a table service which you can make use of as well but I don't know if that is in all of the restaurants or just limited restaurants.

McDonald's Northumberland Street has since been renovated since the last time I was there back in my Uni days. The renovation has made it much cleaner than it used to be and feels very modern. Customer Service was friendly enough but unfortunately the breakfast meal was very greasy. One thing I did notice (which is common for McDonald's) is the almost endless number of chewing gum stuck under tables, not really a problem with McDonald's but a problem who they commonly serve.

McDonald's is my favourite fast food restaurant and positively the atmosphere was great for only being a restaurant and the food and drink I ordered was wonderful and I loved it there. I'd definitely recommend this McDonalds to people. Unfortunately though it gets very dirty and messy really quickly so its difficult choosing a clean and tidy table to sit at. Other than that I really enjoyed it and loved it and will certainly be returning one day :)

The reason for only 4 stars is the shop is so busy & you can have up to 30 mins wait after you tender your order. They have ample staff serving the tables & the take aways,but it is well worth the wait as the food is second to none&All the staff are properly trained &well mannered. Always has been, always will be very very busy. Frequented this place occasionally over the past 20 years and it's never changed. Poor management. Can't fault the food, just as you'd expect from McDonald's but expect up to a 20-30 minute wait on a weekend and through holiday periods. Can be hostile some times early morning or late at night but that's part of living in a city isn't it? 😕

Decent place with friendly staff. As I was ordering at the self service screen some inbred who looked like that bloke from the hills have eyes spat on my face, luckily one of the members of staff came to my aid and held the guys arms behind his back while I laced into him and put him on a stretcher. Ordered the 20 chicken nugget box and got 42 by accident but it was alright I shared them with the guide dog sat beside me. The dog then left a log on the floor which had me buckled. That's about it really. Belter place.

No queue for ordering (it was 12:15am-ish) there were about 10/15 waiting for their order however I received a good quick service before many received theirs, freshly made, very inexpensive (had £1.99 voucher for food & full card of saved coffee points) I had take-out but there were plenty of seats available. My Flat White was really nice and my friend wolfed his Big Mac and fries down in no time - well worth it!

I would like to see if the system you are using takes as long as it did when you had all the tills on the front counter . In my experience only the staff will know if it is working better the way it is now or before . I think if you have got a good workforce who know what they are doing which I seen they did today, the customer should only be waiting no more than 10 mins from start to finish even on a Saturday when it is really busy . I hope you can meet that target .

It's a Maccie d's! You know what you are getting. This one in Northumberland street gets very busy and for that reason service was slow simply due to volume of orders. Was pretty grubby with bins overflowing. Again due to shear amount of rubbish and staff rushed off their feet attempting empty them. To be fair it was early evening in the lead up to Christmas so was obviously busy.

Everyone loves maccys, ques sometime are horrendous I would suggest paying on card or downloading the app on your phone and doing a pre-order it's quicker and saves you waiting in ques during busy times. Also downloading the app you get free drink and food when on offer 👌

Very large branch of McDonald's. Loads of seating available both down stairs and up. Lots of self service ordering points to speed up the process. There are toilets on sight including a disabled access room. The restaurant is located in the heart of the city right in the middle of Northumberland Streets pedestrian only zone, a short walk from public transport and all of the shops, as well as At James Park.

Always busy with a long wait but that's expected. Staff are usually friendly but sadly during the holidays or at weekends it attracts rude customers (usually teenage boys) that like to swear and shout at people, including staff etc
