We came here for our wedding anniversary & brought our son too. The food here is out of this world & very reasonably priced. Two of the waiters (sorry I can't remember their names) were so nice & really funny, they made our son laugh so much. Had a lovely night & will be back soon.

Lovely food would have given 5* at end of meal asked why bill was high especially only had evening 3 course special set meal X2 plus with cheesy garlic bread £4.95 and extra veg plus £2.00 extra for steak. Plus 2 soft drinks. Set meal was £13.95. The explanation was not explained well or I was unsure if staff were right in there costing.

Pricing weird. charged 2.50 for a glass of table water! and extra charges for 1 dessert but had deal of 3 course meal. Busy at the time and lovely waiters but had 3 waiters taking drinks. dessert and table service took a while. However Chicken and vegetable soup was amazing. Other courses so-so and ordinary. Probably will not visit again.

Went for Sunday Lunch at the first sitting (12pm) and the service was great, was promptly seated at 12 when the restaurant opened and the staff were all very polite and attentive. Food was very quick with starters arriving within 10 minutes of our order being placed and the quality was lovely! Our main was equally as delicious and speedy to arrive from the kitchen, however. Our experience of Oli and Joe's was lovely and we'll definitely be visiting again ☺️

Staff are lovely and food is fantastic, I had the steak it was beautiful. I was meeting friends and as I live a while away and my friends are always late I felt a bit awkward but a lovely family seen me standing in the rain and invited me to their table.. The staff realised what was going on and put us on a bigger table (due to covid so we could keep our distance) until my friends arrival. At all times I was asked if I was OK and if I needed anything ( I declined a drink as I knew they wouldn't be long). When my friends arrived a few minutes later we were directed to our table with polite and prompt service. I felt very welcome ( thanks for that!) We had a wonderful day of food and cocktails with nothing being too much trouble! My friends are regularly eating there and this was my 1st time. We were outside in the gazebo with more then adequate heat which made the experience all the better. My only bug bear is the toilet door lock was broken, the toilet was spotless otherwise! So 9 out of 10 from me!

Been here many times cheap and cheerful. Last visit what a disappointment. 2 set lunch menus should be £9.95 2 kids £6.95 £8.80 for 2 small lemonade and 2 orange cordial. Bill come to £52 odd Charged £8 extra for GF used to be £2, no one told us it had gone up. No longer cheap and cheerful. Cheap over priced food.

They put surcharge 10 percent to your bill without warning. It is not the way the business should work. Even if you ordered the meal during happy hour , you are still charged the full price. Be aware.

We had booked for a large party & it was all a little chaotic when we arrived... however....the staff were brilliant and the food was fantastic. I had the risotto scallop and it was probably the (joint) best risotto I've ever eaten (my lovely friend and neighbour is a chef & his risotto is amazing too). Very reasonable prices. Definitely won't be my last visit! 💖

The best Italian place around. We are not locals and we were on a drive back to Nottingham. The owner of the place, made us feel at home. He was so friendly and professional. We have had a lovely Sunday roast and the entire staff was incredibly quick, and professional, even if they were crazily busy.

Called off chance to this place on sat lunchtime. It was full but managed to get a table no problem. The lunch menu was £6.95 for 3 courses with pizza or pasta. We chose to upgrade for £4 to sea bass and chicken. The soup of the day was carrot and coriander which was very nice. The main course were served quickly and also very nice finished off with coffee or ice cream. Very good value at £22 for two. Would highly recommend

Excellent food and cosy place. We went to Oli and Joe's on a Saturday afternoon to find it brimming with people. We got a table after a short wait, and decided to go with the lunch offer. Met my friends here for lunch. First time I've been here and we've all decided to come here for lunch at least once a month. Thoroughly enjoyed the potato skins, carbonara and coffee. One of the friendliest places to eat, even though really busy, we were acknowledged as we arrived. Advise a booking though as always busy!....The sign of a great place. One toilet, but was clean! Went on a Tues at 6.30 and was packed. Very accommodating with food requirements and orders. The prices are great....fillet Rossini for £16.95! Hubby had sirloin £13.95 and it was huge! The half pizza/half pasta option was great!! I had a homemade ham and pineapple pizza with Veg lasagne for £7.95 and it was like 2 dinners!! Could do with extra toppings though as looking at others pizzas too, is just a little too sparse. But was tasty! Fabulous FRESH food and fesh-egg pasta. Great place. Really happy we have this on our doorstep.

Ive ate in Oli and Joes many a time and always nice but my first and last takeaway from here. My marinara pizza was drenched in oil and couldn't really taste the pizza as there was that much. My wifes Pepperoni was a bit too spicy as had alot of chilli flakes on ? . My son did enjoy his pasta bol.

My main concern I have is I had to tell the same waiter not to serve hot soup on my side where my grandchild was sitting only to be told IT'S OK.....he could have spilt it on him and burnt him. Then putting a cold drinks down right in front of the child I had to quickly move as once again I was told it was OK. Next was putting a cup of very hot coffee next to him again. I honestly don't understand the mentality of some people. Surly waiters are told never serve a person something very hot on the side where there is a toddler

Family took me today for Sunday lunch , 6 adults and a toddler, food was lovely but service well the waiter couldn’t tell the difference between Lamb and Beef then when the ice cream came the waitress just put the 3 down in the middle of the table and left so we had to give them to the people who had ordered them correct me if I’m wrong is that not her job, then three of us ordered coffee we waited 15mins then I went up and said excuse me we ordered 3 coffees and the male waiter who I may say looked scruffy just ah yes and asked someone else to get it ,not oh I’m sorry the waitress who brought the coffee just put it down and we had to ask for milk . I asked for the bill and had to once again go to them to pay , I found this to be a very rushed lunch and not a nice time I hope the manager reads this and makes sure this doesn’t happen again
