Definitely the best fish and chips you'll get in Newcastle. Staff are really friendly too! No card machine so please order online via their website or bring cash (free cashpoint round the corner at the nearby Post Office/corner shop)

Lovely Fish & Chips. Enjoyed every mouthful, including the mushy peas and curry sauce very tasty. No grease, No greasy taste left in mouth. Staff very friendly, and along with their full menu there's plenty to try. Website easy to navigate and order from, and loved the fact I could pick what time I wanted it to be delivered. Will definitely be ordering again.

I was in the area on business and I was getting hangry. I know the brothers & sisters can relate to that feeling 😁. Anyway, I saw this place had decent reviews so of I went. Place looked clean, the girl that served me was super cool & friendly, she had a genuine smile. I ordered fish and chips of course (take out). Cost me 6 quid and in all honesty it was bloody delicious. Crispy, succulent and just what I needed to eradicate my hangryness. If you're in the area, go check this place.... It's da bomb!

My go-to place for fish and chips in the local area, the fish is always top notch, the batter is good and the chips are proper golden brown and thick. I don't know much about chips but they seem to be the kinda place that actually changes their oil once in a while. They aren't massively expensive either so if you just want some fish and chips to go I'd go here. That being said because they are good and they fry on order if you stroll up during a peak period you could end up waiting a while. I've seen the staff racing about before to meet demand so calling up before you collect is a good idea. That being said most of the time I still just walk up and order - if it's not busy it's about five to ten minutes. The wait only applies if you're ordering fish or something the have to cook. Staff are always nice and friendly too.

This has been one of my go to take aways for along time. The quality, service and amazing food has always made it a great place for food. For the first time today I have fish and chips delivered. There was a delay on the delivery. I imagine due to their popularity. The guy delivering even climbed all the stairs, what a star. I live in a maisonette two flights up. The food as always was exceptional 😋 the portions are large, the sauces delicious and well worth the short additional wait.

Nice fish and chips but if you just call in off the street, you wait ages for the fish to fry. They don't have them ready. They seem preoccupied with lots of takeaway orders. If you have plenty of time to wait they're nice but if you're pushed for time don't out yourself through the stress

Can’t fault them really. Really nice fish and chips,the staff are friendly and straightforward people. The food isn’t soaked in oil, it’s greasy but not saturated in oil like some I had. Good spot. Lots of choice if you don’t want fish. I got a burger it was not really nice but it’s a fish place. Get the fish.

Great traditional chippy. Chips are clearly cut on premises and not bought frozen. Also use Cod while other places use Pollack these days. The man was clearly run off his feet but still managed to get everyone served within reasonable time. Will be back again.

Excellent value for money. I'd crawl across the Tyne Bridge just for a pot of their mushy peas. The quality and of their fish is as good as you'd get in a swanky restaurant. Portion sizes are more than generous. I'm yet find a better chippy in the UK.

This place is GREAT! We were biking around the neighborhood and stumbled upon this Fish and Chips place just as we were looking for a lunch spot. The two gentleman working that day noticed that we needed some help with the menu and happily gave us recommendations on what would be best for us (Americans) to order. We go two boneless skinless cod with mushy peas and chips and WOW they were the best Fish and Chips we had ever had. The price was also reasonable for each. After nearly finishing the HUGE portions of food, the nice gentleman working there gave us a ton of recommendations for our time in Newcastle. I highly recommend.

Amazing food every time without fail, always cooked to perfection and tasting great. Prices are spot on too. Delivery never been late and is often earlier than most others in the area. Only downside is it's not open 24/7! Would highly recommend the pizzas too!
