A bit disappointing for the money. The staff were nice but the potato skins were burnt and only had a small amount of cheese and bacon. When we complained we were told that that's how they come (see pic). They also got one of our mains wrong. Missing the the second patty from a burger. This was sent back and the staff were happy to re make it and didn't charge us for the second patty.

Have always loved a TGI but don’t go often because it’s probably at the top end of pricing for what food you get. There burgers are great and there Philly cheesesteaks are the thing I always go for. I ordered a kids meal and the only thing I would point out is the amount of salt on the kids meal chips should be looked at. I had to sit there and wipe the chips down as there was far too much salt on for kids meal.

Absolutely unreal service from start to finish. Staff (Jamie and the girls) were amazing and very accommodating for us and our baby. They constantly brought us things to keep our son entertained and played peekaboo with him. Our food was delicious too and we all wolfed the lot. The staff also brought our son some fruit and veg sticks which he enjoyed. We left feeling very comfortable and satisfied and will definitely be back.

The burgers are very tasty it's definitely down to their unique sauce which is amazing dipped with chips or lathered on the burger. The staff in here we're all friendly just a shame when we wanted to pay for the bill you couldn't find them to call over.

This is easily one of the best TGI friday's i have been to. Staff always friendly, restaurant always clean, food always perfect - we eat here most weeks and i have never gone hmm was better last week. One of your servers Adam is a brilliant example of how great service results in repeat business as this is our go to place to eat because of all the above comments i could not speak highly enough of the food or staff all i can say is go find out yourself and ask for Adam.

I love TGI Fridays but this one is just ok. When I arrived there was no one to help to sort a table which was unusual as normally TGI is hot on that. The food was nice and fairly quick too arrive.

Three or four times a year I meet up with my two sons at this TGI Friday and we are never disappointed. The food is to a very good standard and the service is to. The location is perfect for visits to the Metro Centre or just off the Newcastle bypass with easy parking.

First time ever going to this place, i found the food to be spot on. Alittle over priced for what it is though. Normally alright, can be super slow at times either when it’s really busy or extremely quiet. Prices are average for what you get but the points make it worth it. Food can be hitty missy, the last lot of potato skins we had were burnt and had no filling (tried to raise this with the server but she picked up the plates and left so quickly that we didn’t have the chance). Overall we would return again, the issues above don’t really bother us massively and we would always raise any food problems given the chance.

Painfully slow service and despite mentioning it on the online booking form, when we arrived and when we ordered, nothing was mentioned about the birthday of one of our party. The website stated a birthday treat, and this wasn't mentioned until we asked about it when paying the bill - the treat is cake and the excuse given was we were ordering dessert, however we weren't informed there was an option of cake for the birthday person.

Ate here before and remembered it being OK food so popped in to get a table. There was a ten minute wait where we were asked to sit at the bar. We sat and were totally blanked by the staff. They stood about a metre away and chatted as we sat …so we left for a different restaurant. Not sure we’ll be going back. There are definitely places with better customer service.

Popped in for some food, really quick service, and the staff were very friendly. Manager suggested a few items and boy did they not disappoint. The starter sesame chicken was to die for crispy and saucy... and the sauce WOW! It’s unreal, the portion was also really decent. The main I went for the warrior burger was totally defeated in my battle to finish it!, gutted but it was huge and again absolutely lush! All washed down with a few recommended mocktails (sadly I was driving) but my friend said the cocktail he had was delish. We often visit TGI's at some point through the week as it is a relatively inexpensive night out with decent food and service to match. The staff are always fantastic and connect with the customer extremely well. The wait times are usually second to none and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. We have visited many times and only once had an issue which we waited too long for our food. In their defence however, it was a very busy night and they were down on staff that evening. The manager came across to our table without us asking and couldn't be more apologetic.

Good - first time out for a meal since lockdown. TGIs follow the correct protocols and have their service cycle well planned. Took my folks - both in their eighties. Very convenient as all on the level and easy access - they both walk with great difficulty now, but like to get out once in a while. Had to book thru website - set time. Arrived - straight in. Tables spaced well apart, with only every second or third table in use. Paper menus. Friendly staff. Food and drinks put on end of table so server not leaning over you. One way system in place around restaurant. Of course the other side to it is the food. Great - as ever top TGIs quality. Good service. The menu is reduced a bit for the sake of their kitchen operations, but still enough choice. One other thing to note when I'd booked online in the comments box I'd mentioned my folks are older and not as mobile, so could we have a table not to far from the accessible toilet? We were given a perfect table, not to far into the restaurant, on a wide Isle, very near the accessible toilet so my Dad could easily make it with his walking frame. So 'yes' - recommended for food, service and following safe practice in line with covid guidance. My parents enjoyed their meal out, and we felt safe and assured TGIs and it's staff were interested in good practice.

Had a gluten free pulled pork burger, chicken nachos and cider here last week. Good food and nice staff from the off duty waitress arriving for her shift who held the door open for me when I went in (tall, thin, blonde young lady, sorry i didn't catch your name to give you credit), to the manager who was very polite and took the time and trouble to explain their (extremely thorough) kitchen etiquette for people with allergies. Nice experience. 😁

Friendly staff and excellent service. My partner is coeliac and dairy intolerant so eating out can be tough. TGI Fridays have a policy where the order has to be taken and followed through by the duty manager. Very attentive and we had a fantastic meal.

Disappointing for the usual TGI Friday fayre. Wide ordered grilled salmon - it came about 1cm thick and 2 inches wide... Pathetic for £15! The mash looked horrendous and the 'seasonal veg' was a small pile of roasted veg. I had the 'double dip burger' which again, looked pretty unappetizing, and i can't say that i could taste the mayonaise, candied bacon or cheese. Sweet potato fries were nice, as was the sauce. Also had sesame chicken bites to start which although very tasty thanks to the sauce... I got 7 small pieces of chicken for £7. My 4 year old has fish fingers, beans and chips. Can't get much wrong with that, although the beans were so overcooked they disintegrated when eating. Staff were very nice, but for a £50 bill, it was rubbish! Wouldn't tecommend

Use this restaurant on a regular basis and have done for several years with my family, it is always welcoming and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It has a good atmosphere and is always clean, the food is great and reasonably priced, would recommend.

I don't know why I do this to myself. I always promise "never again" with these chain restaurants. anyhow, lovely place, great service, interesting looking menu, but oh my, was the steak awful. Very tough - I suspect very cheap cut also!, rest of food didn't live upto the expectations of the menu. Things like a bit of chicken with a sauce poured over it at the end, rather than the food being prepared with the sauce like a proper restaurant. Been twice, got bitten twice. NEVER again.

We come here often for family celebrations, we have a dairy allergy and a vegan in our immediate family and TGI's is great because there is lots of choices for everyone. The staff are great, very friendly; once a member of staff even had a balloon sword fight with my son and made his night!

Really poor food last night, starters of j Daniels chicken strips had to be changed as they came out cold x4. So other 3 diners are separate. I had California chicken burger and fries, to say fries were tasteless is an understatement. Hub had fish, he was really disappointed, said he has had bigger and tastier from a box in supermarket. The server did all she could hence 3 star and not 2. I find Tgi's has gone down rapidly in the standard of food. Not the price however, not a true reflection of quality versus cost. I won't be back.

I always enjoy the food and atmosphere with my family, it’s one of the better large chain restaurants (in my opinion), I’m knocking 1 star off because all large scale establishments charge to much again (in my opinion) surely it should be less compared to smaller family businesses. I'd never been to TGI's before, but had been told it was a bit like Frankie & Benny's, so my expectations werent too high. Service was good. We were welcomed at the door and ushered to the bar while our table was being prepared. We then sat for an absolute age waiting for this to happen, and eventually had to ask what was happening to our table, at which point we were taken straight too it! My starter was very nice, some kind of chicken with Jack Daniels sauce. I wasnt very impressed with the steak I had for main though. It was pretty tough and the mushroom sauce didnt taste very mushroomy. The 2 potato skins that came with it were pretty nice, but the wedge salad was quite sad looking and overly heavy. Value for money for the volume I ate was pretty good.
