D.Attentive staff, very clean with nice decor. Food was very good and the pint was nicely poured. Went down a treat on such a hot sunny day. Only reason not 5 stars is because the menu seems a bit to pricey.

We usually visit during the summer when the place is so busy and the staff work so hard to make sure your visit is a good one. Usually we have the fish and chips today we opted for Sunday lunch and our son had the gammon……..all perfect! You can’t fault the service, quality or value for money. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Can't recommend highly enough
M. T.Lovely gastropub in rural Northumberland village, very quick service with the food arriving in 20 minutes for 8 people! Staff were also nice and friendly!
S. S.Sat outside in the garden which had a variety of seating including separate shed structures. They also have a big pizza oven in the shed in the garden which is extra food to a large menu inside the pub.
J. C.Visited yesterday with family. Ordered the curried fish tacos, my wife the steak pie and 3x fish and chips for the children. The portion sizes were massive and can't be faulted. However there were a couple of issues, I was sent out an adults fish and chips which was not what I ordered. Due to the fact we had already been waiting 1hr 15mins for our meals I decided to take the fish and chips. Probably rate it at 2.5 stars due to waiting time, the mix up with orders and that we were not compensated in anyway for this. The staff were friendly though.
R. M.Had a lovely birthday lunch here today, there was 5 of us plus our 7month lab. We sat in the Cuthbert pod which was really comfy and roomy, protected us from the slight wind. The food was delicious, didn't know what to expect from the mussels with chorizo but it was really lovely. For mains we had either; beef burger, fish and chips, katsu burger or the scampi and it all was delicious and so filling with portion size. Price is very reasonable, especially in this climate. Staff were great and kept checking in on us. Thank you very much 😊
D. P.Christmas eve dinner. Guests chose a range of meals.both festive and traditional. Portion sizes are.good,food was excellent and service was great.
