Wow best Chinese takeaway in Newcastle and I have tried a few. Excellent food cooked to perfection by people who know there craft. Great service by very pleasant people. Cannot rate high enough. There seaweed is just something else how you pack so much flavour in to something so basic as seeweed but they manage it. Will be back very soon.

I feel so lucky to have Wokify close to my home. A great range of tasty food and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile. I tend to come and get take out, my food is made quickly while I wait in the seating area. I have Coeliac disease and I’m able to choose from a variety of dishes that can be made gluten free. I feel safe eating here with my dietary requirements.

I originally reviewed this 4 stars when I did so 3 years ago. It was close to 5 at the time. In that time I have returned many more times and it has only gotten better and better. The food is excellent, this is not your average Asian takeaway, the quality is absolutely above and beyond the "norm". My preferred order is Salt and Chilli Chicken with a portion of Satay sauce. I don't normally like Satay, but the sauce here is incredible, super flavourful with a punch of heat. The service is always quick, the food always fresh, crispy (in the right way!) and hot. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The only thing I'd change is the prawn toast, which is not so much on toast as it is in a thick roll where the taste gets lost and texturally feels off. Shame as everything else is brilliant!

If I was 100% honest I'd say that these guy's food is the best chinese food I've tasted! Their staff are polite and friendly and the manager is a very pleasant guy who really cares about his food and his customers. I have been critical in the past about some minor things however on reflection I can safely say that they do everything they can to make your food and your experience as good as they possibly can. First Tim trying wokify. Delivery order came an 1hr & 45 minutes after ordered on the phone, had to ring up to find out where my order was after an hour & 30 minutes wait. The main food was lovely but I ordered an appetizer, which was supposed to be sesame prawn toast, turned out to be a bun with sesame seeds on. Overall, the main food was lovely and I would recommend it, but the service and what they tried to pass as sesame prawn toast which I paid £4.50, very poor and disappointed.

Fantastic so far. Three orders in and the food is great. Beautiful noodles and awesome ribs. Had such good luck with the first 2 orders that I then went and tried the honey chicken which I've had elsewhere and not hated but not loved. It was amazing. Perfect. Found my new regular Chinese! Going to work my way through the rest of the menu starting with the other red-starred dishes. - Food quality dropped and can't compete with Canton Garden on the honey chilli chicken, chicken curry, etc. Though wokify are still winning in ribs... :/

We went in and asked what gluten free options they had. I managed to have chicken and mushrooms with some fried rice. My partner has king prawn sweet and sour with egg fried rice. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. This is the first chinese based food weve had since going gluten free. It will definitely be a regular for us now! Thanks wokify!

The consistency of the quality of food you get from here is nothing short of amazing. Every takeaway every now and then you can get an off one. Not here. Every single time I have been the food has been to the highest standard, massive portion and absolutely delicious. Without a doubt the best Spare Ribs in the north of England but EVERYTHING I have had from here in the last year or so has been delicious. The staff are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet and they will do everything they can to accommodate your request. I would not go to anywhere else for Chinese food. Wokify is the standard.

I've had food from Wokify three times now, and the experience has been excellent each time. This is absolutely not your average take-away! The food is superb, really interesting mix of available items very nicely cooked and in great portions. And the staff are always friendly (apparently they were short staffed tonight, but still friendly and cheerful). Oh, and the food containers are sturdy and re-usable. All in all, highly recommended.

My favourite Chinese takeaway in Newcastle! The place is nice and clean, the owner is lovely, and the food is delicious every time without fail. The owner's recommendations are always great and he is willing to make changes on request - they've nailed our veggie/vegan dishes. The Cantonese tofu and salt and chilli chips are two my faves! He even knows my order without having to ask now!! :D

I tried Wokify for the first time almost a year ago and since then I’ve not been to another Chinese takeaway. This is my go-to place for Chinese/East Asian takeaway. The food is clean, healthy & absolutely delicious and most of all the quality is consistent every single time. David (the owner) is also very friendly and always open to feedback. It’s great to support our local business especially since the owner is passionate about food quality and delivers consistently great customer service. Highly recommend the Singapore Vermicelli and Chicken and Vegetable Gyozas.

We called in tonight to order a takeaway, the staff were very friendly and the food came out really quickly. We were given a rice dessert on the house to try because they are trialing it, it was very kind of them to do this and I can say it was really good! The rest of the takeaway was also delicious and we will definitely be back again!

I've been here quite a few times as I work not far away. The staff and food is always great, lots of flavour in their meals and the prices aren't too bad either. Service is a good speed too when ordering in the shop. The shop also has a few benches for times when you've got to eat there and then because it's too good to wait to get back home or to the office. It can be a little busy during lunchtimes but would recommend visiting if you've not been before.

I’ve been here a few times now for lunch. It’s a bit on the pricey side for lunchtime but not too expensive. So far I’ve enjoyed salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper chicken, and fried rice. The curry for me is too hot, I normally enjoy spicy food but you can’t really taste much, just heat! Love for this to be a bit more mild, apart from that it’s great here. You can pay with card too which is really handy 👍🏻

Walked across the road from here several times and notes the fresh smell that fills the street. The Google reviews looked decent so I gave it a try. It's refreshing to see a website for a takeaway with a copy of their menu with prices on. Food was ready to collect promptly and tasted very nice.

Best Chinese in the area, hands down, and I've tried most. The quality of food is exceptional - don't expect it to be ready in 2 minutes, but that's reassuring if you care about quality. Great service too and very popular with my colleagues at lunchtime, despite plenty of competition closer to the office.

The food here is absolutely beautiful. They have lunchtime prices and evening prices with the portion sizes differing to match the price. The owners are some of the nicest people you're ever likely to meet. I try and visit here once a week because it's so nice. This is easily the nicest Chinese food in the area. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

After having a fabulous meal when the shop first opened we were disappointed tonight. The spring rolls and prawn crackers we had for starters we're delicious but although the Chicken Curry had a lovely sauce it was spoilt by using cheap chicken cuts which had no flavour and an unpleasant consistency. Unfortunately the Chicken Chow Mein was made using same poor quality chicken so it was disappointing too. I don't like to give critical reviews but hope this feedback might persuade the owners to change suppliers rather than spoil the lovely dishes they work hard to prepare.

Love this place and probablly visit a little too often........but the food is just soooooo nice! The owners are lovely people and always welcome (constructive) feed back, no matter if it is good or bad. sad to see them closed at the moment due to the pandemic but their safety comes first.......i just really miss the kimchi chicken :)
