After hearing good things from friends, I decided to give Kebab Joint a try. The beef kebab was the best I've ever had. It was fresh, tasty and full of flavour. The food was delicious and presented very well. A must try! I will definitely be coming back and would give more stars if I could

This place is hands down the best kebab shop in the South Wales (probably the UK!) It isn't your typical flavourless doner meat you get in a kebab shop after a night on the booze. This is handcraft beef doner, full of flavour and taste, cooked to perfection and well worth the money. I always order the same (Exotic stir-fry platter with purple slaw) and it is exactly that - exotic!! Keep up the fanastic work guys and i'll see you Saturday for my usual.

Absolutely gutted to hear that Saif has been forced by market forces to shut up shop. Easily the best doner kebab in Newport, and better than nearly all that I've tasted. Best wishes with the Cardiff franchise offering, I hope it is a success, and I'll be hunting it down once it's opened. All the best. This place is going to give all the other fast food places in Newport a run for their money. I've put a couple of photos of the food on our work chat group, and all of a sudden our whole team are talking about working late, just to give it ago - what other take away can you remember that has that reaction! Positives: Great food (only beef kebab I know of in Newport) - and when I say great, it's not a superlative, the food really is on point as a gourmet kebab option. Friendly staff Clean and modern venue! Home made sauces that hit the spot. The lads seem passionate about their business, and keen to get it perfect. Negatives: My only worry is them growing too fast and food quality/service delivery taking a knock as a result - no sign of the food quality dropping, but a couple of mates have commented on the attention to detail dropping a little bit as they get busier. Dish of choice: For me, it has to be the loaded fries. If you're used to fries being a side order, think again! This is a full meal in itself.

Went there again last night with a bunch of friends. Had the slow roasted lamb stir fry and KJ special. Never fails to surpise me. Tasted amazing. Everything was fresh. Slow roasted lamb is a bit spicy so you if you can't handle spices then get yourself something else. The owner is too kind - always gives us extra portions and discounts too. Ignore all the negative comments from these haters with sad lives who have no appreciation for good quality food and extra kind service. If you genuinely have a concern and raise it with the staff, they will defnitely address it. I remember they gave my friend his order for free because they weren't happy with the standard of them food themselves even though my friend didn't mind and was insisting to pay.

I am a foodie and a blogger and this is propably the best fresh beef doner I have had within the UK! Saif and Numan are amazing guys who run the business with love and compassion and I am definetly coming back again.

Wow, seriously one of the best doner kebab’s I’ve ever tasted! You can actually taste the meat on these kebab’s; unlike most places where the meat is cut so thin that it doesn’t even tickle your taste buds. Was speaking to the owner and he explained that the kebab’s here are handmade so that explains why they are so nice. Very friendly staff. Thank you for the free sauces as well and will pop in again one day when I’m back in Newport. 5*

Amazing food, the customer service was brilliant they made us feel so welcome and we had a nice chat with the owner who on top gave us extra food on the house. I've never had donner so good! Highly, highly recommend to anyone and everyone. They even let us use the toilet as we came back from a long journey. Thank you so much for the lovely service!

Absolutely amazing food again. Collected this time and as they had sold out of the dirty fries they made up their own concoction which was banging👌 Buffalo wings are to die for. Kebab meat is delicious and not at all greasy. Kids meals are plentiful and staff are lovely 😊

This has been my go to favourite kebab shop since finding it 3 or so months ago. Such attention to the food quality and thought has gone into it. The shish is amazing (my favourite), my kids love the beef doner too which is nice so much better than lamb. Love the fact that you get your sauce in pots as well not plastered all over the meal. Oh and the sauces, the garlic dip is gorgeous and the chilli is amazing such a nice flavour not just heat. If chilli sauce is your thing ask if they have the naga chilli in as they don't always have it but when they do its amazing, lovely fruity tones and then afterwards the heat and a nice kick of it too.

Really enjoyed our meal today. We got the family platter. The brownies were delicious, the coleslaw is most definitely the best in Newport. Every single item was faultless, the donner is one of a kind. Will be back again, to top it off the delivery was spot on the requested time and piping hot!

From start to finish, amazing! Pre ordered just incase they didn’t have the meat, so pre ordered a few hours in advance, I even had a courtesy phone call to let me know they are prepping the food! Got there and it was ready, really friendly staff, and the food looks amazing! I live in Cwmbran - there - pick up and back in 35 minutes, so was no bother at all, parking available at front of shop and easy to find! And oh my days - Those chicken wings! 🤤 The whole meat selection is absolutely banging 🔥 The coleslaw - massively sets it off, the taste of the rice is amazing! 💯 I’m in my absolute element with the food! 🤩 Keep up the good work guys, and thanks a lot! It won’t let me upload photos, but I had the meat platter (currently £27, with rice, chips, brownies and a bottle of Pepsi! Absolute value for money for this food - it could feed 5 people easy!

For years, I have not eaten kebabs due to the incredibly low quality of meat and care. Kebab joint are nowhere near your typical kebab shop. Without question the best kebab in Newport (maybe the the whole of Wales?) Fast service, great lads, good portions and prices - you will never go back after trying these guys, their burgers and chicken steaks are topnotch also. Sauces are great, especially the chilli. Everything is full of flavour and freshly made, not greasy either. Sometimes the taste may be slightly different time to time but that's because of the way they prepare it gourmet. Owner is a good honest chap too, always trying his best to improve the food, talk with people for feedback etc. Have been going to these guys since day 1 and constantly impressed. It's very natural that every food place will have the odd hiccup here and there with an order, but that's only happened to be once and they were quick to sort it out.

A phenomenal place to get food. To call this a place to get kebabs would be a disservice to the nature of the food they produced. Everything is prepared by the chefs in store, and you can see the love and care they put into all the food they produce. A truly magnificent culinary experience.

I’m not a big fan of kebabs but this one was different, really nice and fresh. Sauces were nice too. Loaded fries are really tasty with mozzarella. Everything was pretty much on point. Will definitely recommend. 5* keep up the good work.

Had a lovely gourmet beef kebab meal and their special pie for two inside. I really liked their special sauces drizzled over my meal with that purple homemade coleslaw :) Food came very quickly and the staff make sure you feel well looked after. Oh by the way that soft delicious brownie desert was just the finish i needed. Great quality all round and best upcoming place in town.

Despite the issues and disappointment with our last order Muhammad sent us a replacement meal and the quality was outstanding!! Fantastic meal and what we have always known them to deliver. Really recommend! Tried their beef donner and it was great. Nicely spiced meat, good fresh salad and a flavorful chilli sauce (or rather salsa as is not a runny chilli/vinegar sauce from Chefs larder that most of the places buy). Those guys seem to really put an effort in their food and if you want something that offers their own take on the kebab - try them. They really deserve to be supported during Covid to remain on the food map. If you want the regular same tasting bland doner that majority of the places offer topped with a salad that came from the 10lb tub minutes ago - look elsewhere. Ps. I do like the packaging that can be folded out as a plate, wooden forks instead of plastics and paper bags. Keep doing the good work!

Gorgeous food! Not your typical kebab place, genuinely nicely cooked and prepared food. Will definitely be ordering from again. Kebab Joint hits the spot, food is always piping hot on arrival and is cooked too a top standard the meat is so tender and tasty best around by far at moment and its gourmet so it's always fresh out the kitchen. These guys are by far the best kebab joint. It's taken a little bit of tweaking to get to the ultimate kebab joint meal. Exotica style platter with cheesy fries, and BBQ wings instead of the lamb and chicken shish. Everyone who has tried this has absolutely loved it. This should be on the menu. Plus these guys are real value for money. Quality stuff. Have observed that the guys are always busy working. Never serving stale or cold food. Top mans. May Allah swt put more barkat in your business and reward you guys.
