The food here is always amazing 🤩 always do great deals and the staff are brilliant. We travel around 30 mins each way just to have food here it’s the best chip shop around

Best chippy in Newport and certainly the best on Cardiff Road. The food is always hot and tasty, and the fish in batter is amazing. The ladies behind the counter are always very friendly and the service is second to none. Five stars from Mocha Joe!

The chips aren't remotely comparable to nearby Sheppards, which is why we don't go here very often. Fish is fine, though, so we'd be open to using this on Sunday when Sheppards is closed, although for whatever reason we don't tend to.
