Very nice actually! I haven’t been for a while but I went yesterday and the food was honestly really nice, staff was really friendly, great prices and it was very clean I am definitely going to come back more often. Also pig plus you could see the pizza oven👍 very well done!

Lovely food really enjoyed it .❤ They didn't have full availability was really looking forward to the 5 cheese starter more than anything but they had run out . So I suggest maybe ring ahead to see what the menu availability is if you had a certain dish in mind. Only 3 tables with customers on so it was very quiet. All in all a very enjoyable meal out. Would def visit again x

I like Zizzi restaurants in general, but this one was special because the food was very tasty, and the service was excellent. So in just a weekend spent in Newport I managed to come to this restaurant thrice, both on my own and with a friend. And I will come again, provided my life will bring me to Newport.

Vegan pizza is delicious! Like the sticker so they don't get mixed up with other pizzas. (I've been places where this has happened). Staff attentive and helpful, but don't rush you. They were happy to accept Tesco clubcard boost code straight off the phone (tell them before you order though). Nice to be able to see the kitchen as they're cooking your food. Have been here a number of times now and they've always got my vegan order right first time (seems a small thing but some places in Friars Walk can't seem to manage this), have provided good service and good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Especially recommend if anyone in your party has special dietary requirements as they do gluten free as well. Ask for the gluten free/vegan menu on arrival which gives comprehensive information about what is available and what ingredients are used. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

The staff was amazing, the service was great. No waiting to get in, plus the waiting for the dishes was non existing. They were caring and always checking on us. Highly recommend the place. Monika is great at customer service too. I had the meatballs and they were amazing!

Excellent service today by Geraint, been in here a few times over the last couple of month but the service we received today was above and beyond. By far the best experience we have ever had in zizi and it Made for an amazing birthday treat for my wife.

For a chain restaurant you'll be hard pushed to find better Italian food. Enjoyed my meal in the Newport branch. Service was great & the food was faultless.

Called in early on a Thursday evening and easily got a table for two without having booked. The staff were great and the service was friendly and prompt. The food we had was very tasty, good sized portions and nicely presented. The only problem was that there were a number of things unavailable across the menu including the starters and desserts we wanted. Had the menu been fuller I would have definitely given at least one further star.

Good food portions. Drinks are a bit overpriced for what you get. Small plastic cup of coffee £2.70. Best to book in advance to be sure of a table. Staff are pleasant but rushed of their feet at peak times. Tables for two are very small and if you order drinks and meals with sides the table is crowded.

We ordered pizza for a quiet night in. In comparison to dominos which is what we usually get, Zizzi’s quality was extraordinary! Absolutely delicious, perfect garlic sprinkled thin crust pizza, try the sea salt and rosemary chips. The early delivery and posh packaging is a nice plus. Thank you 😊

We have visited this restaurant a few times in the last 18 months. Service and food always very good. This week, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our booking but decided to order a takeaway instead. We were not disappointed. Service was prompt at collection, food was well packaged, piping hot after a 15 min drive, and ready to eat. We even had some free pastas crisps which was a lovely surprise. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the meal, a great way to celebrate our sons birthday. We will definitely use this service again if we are unable to book and would highly recommend it to others. Normally a favourite of ours but on this occasion it was not the case. The food is still exceptionally good - no faults from us. Zizzi is part of the Tastecard scheme & allows diners to use their cards on a Sunday (the night we dined). The offer is 2 for 1 across all courses & as we had 3 cards between 8 of us & had qualified under the terms & conditions we expected to use the cards as we had done on past occasions. The Manager thought otherwise & would not accept this, having to phone for confirmation from ????? Who knows??? She then allowed us to use our cards. A nice evening spoilt by her attitude.

Lovely evening spent at zizzis in friars walk Newport. Staff were really polite and friendly. Tables and toilets were really clean. Food was delicious and served really quickly. This place is absolutely amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the start. We were a family of 6 celebrating our wedding anniversary they were brilliant even had recommendations for myself as I was undecided. 5 desserts were chosen and all of us left full to the brim with some pizza left over in a take away box. Went there Tuesday evening in January and it was still pretty busy. Interesting menu with a different take on the norms using interesting ingredients. Low alcohol beers and ciders make it easy for drivers. Service wasn't the quickest nearly 2 hours for 3 courses but food was good. Bill was over £80 for 3 people.

Myself and a friend decided it was time for a catch up so we decided on Zizzi as it's nice and chilled with a nice variety of food. We weren't disappointed the food was gorgeous and even better with a taster card! Lovely midweek supper. Excellent vegan and vegetarian menu, with gluten free options. What made it even better was Dorian our server for the eve. Lovely and friendly with brilliant humour! Def a natural at his job! Nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Food was absolutely fantastic would be 10 out of 10 if only based on food! However we visited 3pm Saturday afternoon the restaurant was not busy. I used the facilities on arrival and mentioned to staff regarding the sanitary bin which was overflowing to the point it was unsightly of items we do not want to see..,especially when eating! I used the same cubicle twice more up until we left......very disappointed to see the bin was not attended to! No excuse for this at all and very disappointing.

A great Italian Eatery for any occasion, casual with friends and family, romantic or a group celebration. Whatever the reason you will enjoy a modern take on Italian dishes, fresh and indulgent without being too heavy. We adore sitting in the booths making it feel special and intimate. Service is excellent, classy and always with a smile. Try the rustic pizzas or even the skinny pizzas are tasty and don't make you feel you are not enjoying a meal out! Don't forget the Chocolate Melt for a real treat! The menu has something for everyone. We recommend this place.

Had a lovely meal here yesterday. The service was brilliant . I had the wild boar pasta Al Formosa and the cheesecake for dessert. Service was prompt and just right. We were early as we went before the theatre across the road. The pricing is OK but even better if you buy a voucher with Tesco points. My only quibble is that they don't have unpressurized draught beer, just bottles and the cocktails were all gin or vodka based and did not suit my wife (she prefers more fruit based ones). Also no ASTI. All wines too dry. Probably better for my health to stick to water as I did Summary great food and service.

Tried zizzi for lunch, fair play the service was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the ingredients and how the food was prepared. The restaurant had plenty of tables and room and you didn't feel cramped. Food was tremendous, the chorizo carbonara splendid! Will definitely go back

One of the best Zizzi restaurants I have ever been to since Zizzi begun the garlic bread to the pizza was 10 out of 10 for the first time you could actually taste the garlic and the cheese on the garlic bread it was amazing wish all the restaurants were the same with the same chef who was a very nice guy
