M. C.Fabulous ! Southern fried chicken burger with chips and Battered haddock , gravy and chips. Fantastic deal of 50% off food when eating in, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Gravy was just out of this world, just like steak and kidney pie gravy.
Chips light and fluffy, good portion and not greasy.
Batter was crispy and there was no grease ..delicious, large flakes of tasty haddock. Chicken burger was nicely presented in a fresh brioche bun. Salad was fresh too. Tartare sauce had a lovely flavour, not too sharp.
Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Thank you for a great meal.... we'll be back for sure.

They are always accommodating and it's just a wonderful atmosphere. Everything is beautifully cooked and delicious so all round a great place and I will be going much more regularly. Couldn't recommend enough!!
C. S.Came in today just after opening and was greeted by a manager called Phil and was made welcome by a woman called sue. My grandad is in a wheelchair and they helped cater to him. The customer service was immaculate, Phil came over and had a chat with me, my Nan and my grandad. Would highly recommend, will 100% be coming back

A. W.I did like the food I thought it was fresh and it was cooked to order which is always nice when eating out. We ate in your little take out area but I did think it was very expensive and I wouldn't return in a hurry. I had haddock and chips and I got my girls 2 kids meals which were very small portions they are under 5 so was ok but there fish bites were mainly all batter and kids absolutely hated them. But chips went down a treat. All in with a coke zero for me it was £25 . Definitely the most expensive fish and chips I've got for me and 2 under 5's. Alot more than other chip shops I've been to which are equally as nice. Again won't return in a hurry at that price.

A.I think this is some of the best fish and chips in the area. The chips are not as greasy as they can often be from a fish and chip place. The portion sizes are good.
I don't know if they still do but they used to do special menus on certain days to suit ceoliacs and people with other special dietary requirements.
Would definitely recommend.

T.I have been having almost weekly order since first lockdown, at the time of their reopening. even looking at On a whole, they produce good fish and chips, BUT its inconsistent in quality, especially if you take the high cost of the meal. Especially recently, both the fish and the chips have reduced not only in portion size, but in quality, and value for money. Sadly I do not think the staff are looking at review feedback, if they are they are not acting on the critics. Which is a shame, because was at one time so good, but prices rise, but quality doesn`t , it fails weekly

2 yrs later this is still my number one place to go for takeaway Fish and Chips. In my opinion its rare that places consistently make food that is high quality and in all the times I've visited it the standards have never dropped.
G.Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. We are in the restaurant and we’re fully accommodated even though it was 10 minutes before they closed. Great value for a lovely meal. The takeaway is also lovely and worth the extra money. You won’t be disappointed!

The chips were best described as chewy and the batter on the fish was overcooked. I was very disappointed, It wasn't good. Maybe this was a one off, I will probably try again one day but for now it's not a place I would recommend immediately.

J. J.Went here today not knowing what to expect for a mothers day meal and ate there. Staff were so nice and took our order straight away. The food was absolutely outstanding. I've never had cod that looked so white, and that had such crisp batter! What else impressed me was that there was no oil in sight. I'm so used to fish from chip shops which are soggy underneath, so this is probably the best fish I've ever had. My little boy ate free too - which was a massive portion as well as a drink and ice cream. The price was great too. I'm definitely coming here again even for take out. The staff even gave my little boy a little colouring book and pencils to colour while we waited.
