A truly delicious selection of cakes with a confident price tag. Figbar creates unique bites that excels expectations. The selection; freshness and the flavours are well constructed. Admittedly Figbar prices are certainly on the higher end of the spectrum but it’s expected when you are paying for this level of quality. For those on a budget, perhaps Figbar’s the place to go solely on a special occasion.

Popped in for coffe after shopping in the city. Two excellent coffees. An amazing savoury pastry with bacon, bree and fig. And a very adult granola square. Already planning to go back for Smores (a personal favourite from trips to America) and the snickers based dessert. Update: still my favourite place in Norwich for sweet treats and a coffee. Delicious ice creams in summer month as well. Highly recommended

I've been lucky enough to eat in a few 2 and 3 michelin star restaurants around the world and i can't honestly remember a more intensely flavoured yet balanced dessert than the one i just had here at Figbar. It would have been perfect after a full meal but as it was just dessert my only criticism is that i wanted more of it. The mocha coffee was, i think, the best i've ever had as well..

Isn't it all about the taste. It is alittle more expensive than the competition but you do instantly realise what you are paying for, the plated deserts are perfectly presented. It has a very nice atmosphere, the staff could work on there customer care skills, I don't think anyone likes the fact the staff think they are above everyone else, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Me and my partner regularly go to this place. Cakes change almost on a daily basis so it's a good enough reason to go at least twice a week! Amazing cakes and space to just relax... I wonder what I'll have today?!

Absolutely amazing dessert menu (plated menu) which was nothing short of delicious. Wide selection of cakes and other yummy treats too. Served with very good coffee or even champagne! With wonderful friendly and helpful staff too. Will definitely be going back again.

Frequented more than few times, each visit was just as good as the last. Perfect for an after dinner treat and excellent for bringing home or gifting these amazing cakes and desserts. Obviously made with an acute sense of detail that shines through in both taste and presentation.

Undoubtedly one of Norwich gems. I love coming here and enjoying one or two of the lovely cakes on offer. There is always something new to get my mouth watering and eyes sparkling. If you are lucky you may also see photos being taken of their made to order cakes (that they bake for weddings and other occasions) All cakes are baked daily on the premises and you can see the bakers going about their job behind the counter. They have an amazing variety of ready to eat cakes displayed on the counter or if you fancy something special they will make one of their signature desserts to order. Atmosphere here is great. It is probably the dark grey walls and constellation of lights, it bestows a different quality to the space and makes the cakes really stand out. If you are into food photography the cakes really do look great set up against the walls. Only problem I encountered here is to do with not being able to find a table. This being a very small place often there is no space to sit down. However, if you are just after lovely cakes they do offer take away option.

Beautifully presented, delectable plated desserts usually take my fancy when there, but I always manage to take a box of goodies from the counter home too. Jamie and the team are also incredibly welcoming and friendly, and clearly love what they do! Well done guys! X

Superb! An excellent choice of desserts/cakes, and feels like the perfect sort of place to finish your evening if you're not looking for a big/heavy night out. It's such a lovely, relaxing place to sit and enjoy a dessert and some wine or a coffee. Due to its location at the edge of the city centre, it doesn't often get too busy either, so feels like a bit of a hidden gem in relation to the other eateries in the city. Well worth a visit.

Had the coffee financier and an espresso. Both were excellent and the financier was so good I was tempted to buy another straight away. Nice bar area to relax and enjoy the treats they have. My only struggle with this place is deciding what to have!! They all look so good.

A lovely little desert bar in the heart of Norwich. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth you will surely love the offering here. Savoury options are also available, although mainly sweet stuff. The location is lovely and staff super friendly. Advisable to get in early for lunch as the bar area is small, a bit of a squash and a squeeze sometimes. But worth it.

Amazing desserts in a relaxed setting. Decided to try this place instead of waiting for dessert in Turtle bay where the service was slow... so glad we did. I had the Rhubarb and custard which was incredible. Will definitely be back to try the others on the menu.

Jamie and his team produce incredibly high-end desserts at affordable prices What a place! Can't recommend it enough if you're having a meal in the city skip dessert at the restaurant. You are at and come to Fig bar instead.

Only had the various cakes here which is always a treat as they are lovely, but can't help but feel they've got the seating all wrong in here. The bench at the only table is enormously heavy and barely a gap between the top of it and the table, only other option is high stools at a bar. Not very accessible.

A restaurant dedicated to desert with excellent deserts and Small cakes. Really great flavour combinations beyond the standard ones you see everywhere. I have more than once chosen to park somewhere else so I can take desert home with me from the Figbar.

Hubby and I go to the Figbar a few times a year. It never disappoints. Friendly and helpful staff and of course the desserts are amazing!!! Husband chose something "choctastical" (cannot remember the exact name) and said "Those guys are wizards". I had the Bergamia and it felt like poetry in my mouth. Simply DELICIOUS. Go there and try anything. As well as the bigger plates they also do some smaller cakes and bars to be eaten on site or taken away. Everything we have tried has been scrumptious.

Really delicious desserts with interesting flavours - sea buckthorn sorbet was quite a revelation! My favourite way to eat in Norwich is dinner at one of the many lovely restaurants and then a little stroll to figbar for pudding. And then maybe take a cake home for 'tomorrow'. The vibe is relaxed and the decor subdued and minimalist (although as one reviewer had pointed out the seating is all stools so may not be ideal for a long stay if you have back problems etc.)

I have had the opportunity of visiting Figbar 3 times by chance not knowing what an exquisite restaurant I was taking this Equestrian German Vet to recover her stuff from her divorce the first time. Even though about 2 plus hours from Biggin Hill where I lived and flew out of, I made excuses to do the drive and then fly up there with 2 other planes. All I can still say wow wow and more wow.
