Outstanding Experience. Nothing better than having that gorgeous food when you are really hungry. We were harried up to finding a good place to have a good time and the effort paid the price. We booked at the last instant. At the Haggle I enjoyed the most delicious chicken wings I have ever had. The Lam in grill is beautiful. Our whole experience was outstanding. Service exceptional, friendly and attentive Comfortable seats. Great atmosphere. I would be happy to back again.

Definitely the best Turkish restaurant in Norwich. I have tried food from the other Turkish restaurants in the city but no one can match the service and food this place has to offer. I dine at this restaurant almost twice a month and have never been disappointed with the food and even the service. Highly recommend this place.

Had an absolutely lovely lunch here the other day, the building is absolutely stunning and the staff were incredibly attentive and polite and the food was spectacular really good variety of food available, good idea to get a variety of dishes and split them across the table! This was a sublime experience. The sea bass was generous, flavoursome and utterly delicious. It's in my top 5 dishes ever - and I am old and well travelled, so have much to compare it to! We went for lunch. We were quite early so the place was very quiet (which I don't mind). 1. The restaurant has a nice decor and environment 2. The staff were very attentive - our waitress was quick to get orders and seemed very smiley and happy. She checked throughout the meal if everything was okay. 3. Given how good everything else was the food was slightly disappointing - the starters we got were okay. Out of the 2 mains we got the kebab we got was excellent, but the lamb shank felt a bit dry. Overall it gets 4 stars as if we ordered something else it could well have been nicer.

Great atmosphere. The way they have outside seating with cover and heating, plus multiple floors inside is impressive. The onion salad is poor quality. It's just an onion chopped up. Not great to eat. Also they need to offer condiments. I like chilly dip or yogurt with my Turkish food. They could not provide this as a free dip when requested. Overall it's a great place to eat and the food is good. I especially liked the seasoning on the lamb chops. I recommend it, but more for the atmosphere than the food.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing decor. Food was seasoned and proportioned well. The manger and waitresses were attentive and treated us amazingly. By far my favourite restaurant in Norwich. Only wish they had a proper mocktail menu.

I'm very impressed with Haggle. The food is delicious and arranged beautifully on the plates, the portions are big. The service is excellent, the staff is very polite, kind and patient, made me feel special. They put candles on every table which together with the dimmed lighting creates a romantic atmosphere and it's perfect for couples. I liked the fact they've got some unique cocktails on the menu that you wouldn't find in other restaurants. Another thing that impressed me is they've got hand cream in the bathroom next to the hand wash that smells lovely and makes your hands silky soft, which again is not something every restaurant has. And last but not least it is vegetarian friendly, and they even had a vegan moussaka on the small menu when I was there. Highly recommend and definitely would go back there as soon as I can.

Your bartender (Bart, I believe) earned you 5 or more stars. The food iteself was superb. We arrived with no reservation and were asked to wait a reasonable amount of time before being sat at the bar. Cocktails were made to international standard. We were sat in a nice area of the downstairs lounge, and served in a timely and professional manner. Bartender came over and explained some of our cocktail choices and even tailored some of the drinks to our liking. My second visit, and again, sublime service. Will come back time and time again.

The food was fantastic, both the meze and main courses. Staff behind bar downstairs were great. The only downside was how long we had to wait after our plates were taken away to get the bill. Probably a good 30/40 minutes. Would love to go back again and try more of the menu.

Brought my daughter here after my first exeptional solo visit. The atmosphere is warm and active. We arrived early Saturday and they were busy enough that we sat by the windows because we hadn't booked ahead. I was happy they could still squeeze us in and the seating had plenty of space to sit open and casual. The service is professional and welcoming. The staff are attentive and alert, very presentable and polite. They asked the right amount of questions and a small check to make sure we were happy. The food was wonderful. I had a Turkish coffee with something I can't pronounce (they list ingredients). Some sort of flat bread with air dried beef and cheese. All I can say is, the ingredients were high quality and noticable in the taste, there was a careful amount of seasoning that added beautifully to the flavours. The presentation was attractive and the actual cooking was to perfection, wirh the cheese looking like something from a pizza commercial only in full living colour. Would definitely recommend for a high class quality experience. Will be going back again to learn how to pronounce menu items correctly.

Five star worthy food in general but was severely let down by some horrendously rubberized squid. Think i was still chewing it the following morning. Nice decor but the seating felt cramped and there was a lot of space invasion going on. Also quite loud, not exactly pizza express but not really the place you want to go for a quiet meal.

Staff fantastic. Decor lovely but unfortunately it's a bit style over substance. I went with a friend and was looking forward to the tapas. I was disappointed to see that there was only 2 gluten free hot mezze dishes! These days that isn't acceptable. The falafel, for example, can easily be made gluten free by replacing the wheat flour with a rice or maize flour. I also felt for the quality, it was a bit pricy. Although food was nice, I have eaten better elsewhere.

I've eaten here once before and enjoyed the experience but this time not so good. We were there with friends and everyone but myself are meat eaters so there was discussion about what to order and the member of staff was sating there was rice with all the dishes so I ordered the Peynir Ekmek but found it didn't come with rice, it was the most expensive dish on the table and for three medium pieces of breaded haloumi and three very thin slices of cold butternut squash with a salad was not really good value or very satisfying. The evening was rescued by there excellent rice pudding that I had tried before.

Excellent! Mrs T and I visited for pre-theatre dinner and drinks and had an excellent time. The food was delicious across the board, full of the flavours of the eastern Mediterranean. Ourlamb mains were especially tender and flavoursome, right down to the accompanying bulgar wheat. We possibly ordered slightly too much, but we cleared it all as we're pretty greedy. Service was good too. The price was fair given the quality of the food and that half of our bill was on drink! Mrs T loved her Turkish delight cocktail, but then she does have the pallet for such dayglow coloured saccharin creations, especially as it had a cherry at the bottom.

Popped on for a bit of lunch as I've been past a few times and smept the food from outside. It was busy but managed to get a table without booking, there is 2 maybe 3 levels of dining so you could potentially book a room for a private function. The menu has a good selection of Turkish food with enough choice to make it difficult to choose not because of too much choice there's vegan vegetarian and gluten free options available. Water was supplied as we sat down, there is a choice of soft drinks and hot drinks but the main choices are with the wine and beers. We had the puff bread and garlic, it was nice and tastey but didn't seem to go with each other the butter was hard and wouldn't spread, would have been better if the butter was melted or placed on the bread when it came out of kiln. The rest of the food was great and the staff are on hand to help with any selections. Plenty of atmosphere. Only down sides for me were the bread and the place seem a little cluttered and everything is place around the tables. Still very enjoyable and a great experience/meal

Just superb … an absolute cut above all other restaurants we visited on our holiday . We were served by a guy who I assume is the owner and boy does he care about every last detail .. this percolates down to the staff. Nothing was too much trouble … we asked for a blanket kind of jokingly and 1 minute later the owner came back with blankets for those that wanted them . As for the food this was exceptional and everything was faultless in this regard. If anything you could probably charge more for the quality and unusual nature of what you produce… only suggestion … perhaps wider selection of beers and soft drinks .. still 10/10 though … keep putting out the sunshine as more restaurants should be like you guys

Had a meal Saturday evening, we were seated on the first floor surrounded by scindapsis hanging from baskets on the ceilings. The floor manager explained the menu and told us the best way to have our meal. The food was great the cold starters were so tasty, the squid and garlic sausage, halloumi hot sides great & the lamb main course was perfectly cooked and so tender. Oh not forgetting my Bklava Scrumptious and not to sweet. All round a fantastic evening.

Had a brilliant meal here. Highly recommend to anyone. Four of us shared about 4-6 starters a variety of things including; hummus, yoghurt chilli, duck balls and all were very tasty. For mains we had lamb pittas, breaded halloumi with salad and a chicken dish. All fantastic!

Wow! Popped in here for lunch with frie ds on a girly trip to Norwich. Blown away! Service was so welcoming and friendly and expert advice at hand for our food choice. We opted for Meze and I couldn't rate it highly enough. So delicious and filling. The Feta and parsley filled pastry with honey was absolute heaven. Highly, highly recommended.

Went for the first time this week. My son took me for lunch, knowing I like Turkish food, and having been there himself several times. I love the interior and the fact that their beautiful oven is there infront of you. The menu is extensive and we ordered food to share, 4 mezze and 3 mains. My son and I both class food as a pleasure! It was all beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. I could not fault any of it. We are fish and meat eaters, but there is a good choice for vegetarians. I just had to have the baklava for dessert as my sweet tooth couldn't resist. I was however disappointed that cocktails are only served after 5 as there is one on the extensive cocktails list that could have been invented just for me. I have to go back later next time. If you love Turkish food, or just something really nice and tasty, and not overpriced, then you have to give Haggle a visit.

The food is always good. We've been several times. However, last night we had a birthday party there for 15 people. Despite ordering the table more than two weeks in advance we got REALLY bad tables in the basement. Staff refused to lower the volume of the music and even asked some of the guests to get up when the DJ just had to be set up a speaker right where they were sitting. As a disclaimer, I was the guest of the manager for the meal. However this was my first visit and I was struck from the outset the understated opulence of the venue. It stretches over three floors. At ground level is the main restaurant area, downstairs is a cocktail bar with great ambience and very comfortable seating. On the first floor is the self styled "Hanging Garden of Babylon where the ceiling is partially concealed by living plans and has a glass wall with excellent views of Norwich-across-the-water. The food is cooked in full sight of the customers and adds to the experience to see your meal prepared freshly. There is a high ratio off staff to customers and I felt that every need was anticipated or fulfilled promptly. The food is well cooked, tasty, fresh and with generous portion size. The menu consists of traditional Turkish mezes plates and main dishes. Thankfully they will also provide a take out bag to take home saving what you cannot eat at one sitting. Haggles managed to be attentive and pleasant to spend time in whilst maintaining fast and personal service in a welcoming atmosphere.

We decided to visit late one Saturday afternoon, without a reservation. When entering, we were met immediately and taken to seats nearby, with the open kitchen visible at the back of the restaurant. There was not much room to manoeuvre around the tables and chairs, but it was not all claustrophobic. The decoration was splendid and definitely added to the experience. There is seating on the level below, which we will try and use next time. The menus were concise and clearly descriptive. For drinks, we opted for a glass of Turkish Rose and a glass of Argentinian Malbec. Both were very good. For a starter, we decided upon the Humus with Tahini. This tasted absolutely delicious, indeed, according to my partner was the best Tahini that she had tasted this side of the Mediterranean. The bread complimented it so well. For main course, we chose from the Mangal/Charcoal BBQ menu, deciding upon the Tavuk (marinated chicken breast) and Kuzu (marinated lamb). These were both very flavoursome and also worked well with the small amount of Humus that we had left. We did not try any of the desserts, as we both struggled to finish the main course. If there was anything that I would say that I did not enjoy, it would be the onions that accompanied the lamb. However, this is likely just my particular palate. Other than that, wonderful.

Could not taste any good quality oils or flavourings. The side salad I ordered looked really exciting on the menu but was just some roughed chopped cucumber and cheap cherry tomatoes with a few pomegranate seeds swimming in some highly acidic dressing. Pulled chicken and walnut dish and humus dishes had zero flavour. Chicken wings were cooked to perfection but again didn’t really taste of anything.
