My husband took me here for dinner, I was amazed by the the decor, beautiful, very grand, a very elegant restaurant.
Service was brilliant, staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful.
The food, oh wow!! A fantastic food experience!
Absolutely delicious 🍽🍴🥂🍺
I was surprised by the price too, not as expensive as I thought. For two courses and 1 drink each, £60.

The staff were so so lovely. My friend had an allergy and they were amazing about it and ensured the food was handled safely so she wouldn't react. The food was really tasty and not even as expensive as I thought it would be ! And the decor is gorgeous, you feel so fancy! Definitely recommend!

My partner went a few weeks ago with friends for a birthday meal, she was so impressed she said she wanted to take me.
Yesterday we went for a late lunch. We had starters and a main which were both very tasty and well cooked. Didn't have room to fit a dessert in.
Service was very good.
The building is beautiful inside and out.
Overall, very good food at a reasonable price.

The service was brilliant. The Cosy Club kindly gave us a corner table for the two of us as I requested. Our waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was excellent. A wonderful bonus for us was that The oay Club has a full Gluten Free menu which made it so much easier to select gluten free options. The gluten free bread that came with our meal was absolutely delicious. As we went on a Sunday evening and there were no functions booked we were able to stroll around and have a look at the other rooms which was lovely. We had drinks in the downstairs bar at the end of the eveing which is also a beautiful setting.

Just been again, for another family birthday dinner. Was taken to a different part of the dinner, again very nice and spacious. Once again our waiter services, was brilliant and very good conversations and interaction with us and made our experience. Tried different food from the menu and again the food was outstanding and worth the price. If you want to have a experience that is memorable and treat the family or love one, truly recommend coming here. Thanks Cosy club team, my wife loved her birthday family dinner.
A really delightful, bar. The internal deco, takes you back, to a time of glitter extravaganza and no expense spared. You need to dress to feel part of the experience. Drinks are at a reasonable price, with two for one cocktails. Staff are super friendly and engaging with customers. Went on a Sunday evening, was busy and you could see why, Nice place to sit relax and take the atmosphere. A defo, place to go. A fantastic Christmas tree in foyer to have that classic Christmas picture with your partner/ friends.

Really cool place to go for something to eat or drink. The building itself is awesome with a brilliant grand stairway. There's a couple of floors for dining so even though it looked full there was a table upstairs for us. Plenty of friendly staff around happy to help and the food was a good price too. We had burgers and they were great homemade style ones. We had a show to get to so didn't stay for dessert or drinks but they had a notice on the tables for a themed night I can imagine would be great in this gatsby styled restaurant.

Lovely old building with original period features. Breakfast was delightful and service attentive. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely visit again.
C. h.
The last time I was here was about 16 years ago when it was a gentleman's club.
The building is amazing, as was the food and service. Drinks are also reasonably priced the same as the food.
Perfect Cosy Night Out!

Absolutely stunning place, beautiful original decor, staff very attentive and super friendly. Very nice food. What else to wish for! :)

Absolutely spectacular. I went by myself as a treat for breakfast whilst staying over in Nottingham and I am so glad I did. For a while I was the only diner so it felt very exclusive! The interior of the building is a wonder to behold, and there was the most soothing, chilled out music being quietly played to add to the ambience. I was warmly greeted, seated near the window, chatted to, brought drinks quickly and food very swiftly, and the full English breakfast was perfection. Every item piping hot and cooked perfectly. I could have had any item on the menu it all looked amazing. Kelly, my server, was delightful. Smily and so friendly, seemingly very happy with what she does! I chatted to a couple of fellow diners too and I honestly could have stayed there all day, maybe reading, working and eating meals as and when. I will definitely be back with friends or alone whenever possible! An absolute gem.
K. J.
Super friendly staff and quick service at breakfast! Also good vegan and non vegan options available. The beautiful interior was a bonus :)
N. A.
Very nice place, the atmosphere is indeed “cosy”. The staff members are warm and welcoming, meeting us with a smile that made feel very comfortable. The food was tasty, the crispy duck salad was excellent and the asian fried chicken was delicious. The Cheesecake was superb.
J. S.
Lovely afternoon. Thank you so much for the extremely kind and welcoming staff. A truly enjoyable experience with fabulous staff on a very busy sunny Saturday. Thank you.
B. R.
I took my Dad here for hid Father’s Day present and he loved it, we all loved it! Really nice staff and food was lovely!
M. D.
Ascending the front steps you know you’re in for something special. Massive stain glass filled doors are at the top of the marble climb, where you’re greeted by staff immaculately turned out in fitting attire for one of the grandest buildings in the City. Their manner matches their dress, with them being friendly, professional and quirky. The staircase sweeps your breath away, as well as taking you to the four floors of the building. The huge rooms are drenched with chandeliers and mirrored wall lights, and huge stained glass windows shrouded in luxurious curtains. Don’t miss the gin bar on the ground floor, or toilets(!)

We had such a lovely Birthday Brunch for the WholeHealth Lady Boss here-a really cool atmosphere, great setting, genuinely friendly & helpful staff. Food was delicious, and cocktails were fab! See you again soon...
A. H.
We had our wedding breakfast here, couldn't recommend it enough. The set menu is absolutely fantastic... There's options to suit all dietary requirements. Someone in our party had an allergy and they handled it brilliantly. We worked with Shellie to organise everything and she was absolutely lovely, really easy to communicate with, so friendly and understanding.
The staff were attentive, polite and friendly and the food was excellent everyone enjoyed themselves.
D. R.
What an incredible place... It looks amazing when walking past but wait till you look inside.
It was once a gentleman's club for the wealthy and upper class businessmen of Nottingham, then a casino, it was left empty for 2 decades until it was bought by the Cosy club.
Incredibly renovated it still gives you a sense of opulence, the staircase and windows are beautiful. So much history
The food and cocktails are just as good as the surroundings. A familiar menu for those that know the Cosy Club and reasonably priced
They do brunch, then change to tapas, burgers, salads, sandwiches and lots more add to this great cocktails and 2 for 11 between 4 and 8 on certain days there's no excuse not to go... Enjoy

Had a lovely meal at the weekend, great service. Thank you would highly recommend.
We also had bread and oil, and even simple things like that was presented and tasted beautifully. Will be coming again! Beautiful venue also.
E. S.
Went as part of a funded meal/presentation in one of their private rooms. The food really impressed me. Very tasty and varied. Didn't have dessert, but would definitely go back. Would be great to book one of their rooms for a party
A.
Excellent location with outstanding decor. Decent menu with good food and fair pricing. Staff somewhat slow and were discussing shifts in eatery, which dampened mood of experience slightly. Good choice of drinks. Would recommend.
A. S.
Not altogether bad, but given the outstanding fixtures and fittings this place inherited from the former casino, I wonder whether they've really made the most of it.
The food and drink were fine, and the service was friendly and welcoming. But despite being the grandest loos for miles around they were also pretty smelly. This felt like a winning hand not being played to best advantage.
Altogether mediocre.
O. S.
Fantastic!! Very pleased we had lunch here. Late Father's Day, early birthday. The staff are fantastic, professional and sharp, the food on point, the venue provides such cosy ambiance and very glamorous. We sat in the bar, had a couple of drinks, I had the steak. The steak was cooked to my request and the peppercorn sauce finished it nicely. Very attentive to dietary needs and came out to discuss our requirements, I will return, cant recommend enough.
B. T.
A great restaurant in a very impressive setting. Has a good range of menus to meet dietary requirements (including online menus without calorie information for those suffering from EDs) making it ideal for big groups. Food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
...Will definitely be coming back!
R. P.
Lovely dining experience for my Birthday. Lovely greeting from Chris. Meal was very good, vegan Cheeseburger. I was given a complimentary drink as well which was a nice surprise. The building is absolutely stunning to walk around.
H. H.
The Cosy club is an amazing place to eat. It is victorian with lots of chandeliers and lovely ceilings. The food is out of this world and the staff are all dressed up in victorian outfits. The staff are really nice and friendly and very helpful.
M. L.
Well I was amazed by the décor, what a beautiful place to meet. Staff attentive and friendly, the food we ordered for lunch was not fitting to the venue really, maybe evening meal is better.
I will go again and try another dish, maybe?
But shall visit venue again for sure.
Hi Christian, I felt the dish looked very bland and needed much more garnish and better selection choice of fries, example, fries, wedges or chunky chips, I do not know how your other dishes are presented but we both felt the same ? for an exclusive venue we felt our choice did not reflect on your behalf.
A. B.
Cannot thank all of the staff enough for an incredible experience. We hired out the cocktail bar and the Victorian lounge, both of which were stunning and perfect for our birthday event. The staff were fabulous all evening and a special thanks to Shellie who organised and Ben who hosted the evenings. You are both an absolute credit to the team. The food and drinks were great, and the venue was truly beautiful. A night we won't forget for some time. Thank you all!
j. m.
Amazing food. Beautiful place to eat. Decor our this world. Staff first class.
S. K.
Beautiful surroundings, once you sit in one of the comfy chairs with a coffe or a glass on wine you won't want to leave. A really great place to go for a drink, quick snack or upstairs in the restaurant for a lovely meal. There is a lounge, Gin bar, cocktail bar and the restaurant. Great staff who are really friendly.
D. H.
Went in here for my son's & grand daughter's birthdays.
Had the Butcher's Brunch, really more than I could eat.
Don't usually do foodie photos, but hey-ho here we go.
d. b.
Wonderful building, which matches the service and the food and drinks. Very tasty food, served quickly. You can see why this place is extremely popular. Looking forward to our next visit.
S. G.
Delicious brunch, very friendly service and beautiful surroundings
I. M.
Not been before and loved the building. Great atmosphere. Service was attentive and and food was good. We have quite a variety of items and all were tasty.
D. B.
What a stunning building; like walking back in time. Had a fabulous meal; food was very tasty and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely book again 😀
R. B.
Was a blast from the past. Lovely environment, very friendly staff. Had a fish finger sandwich - best I've had and the chips that came with it were delicious. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely visit again.
I. M.
Lovely building and atmosphere inside.
Food and cocktails were fantastic taste and presentation!
Building was slightly cold
However fantastic place will always be one of my favourite venues for a nice meal or catch-up
S. C.
Had an incredible time at the Masterclass here! Definitely recommend; we were looked after by Craig and Jess who made sure the bride to be and the whole party felt involved and had a great time! Thank you for making the night so special
D. H.
Without doubt, one of the most beautiful buildings in Nottingham. Staff are brilliant and the entire place is stunning.
A. M.
Fantastic restaurant with a gorgeous interior, lovely staff and delicious food. The menu is great, very varied and reasonable prices. The food is high quality and the service is excellent. I really recommend this restaurant to absolutely anyone.
C. K. M.
Excellent service. My wife’s egg allergy was brilliantly catered for. The servers were all lovely especially Steve and Shannon. 100% recommend 10/10
S. B.
Stunning building. Lovely cocktails food seemed average. Great Gin master class. Great, attentive service. A lovely experience, worth a visit
A. H.
We popped in for a drink for a birthday treat and received a free drink , a lovely gesture thank you. We decided to go back for lunch, fabulous food, great service, perfect ambiance. We will be back xx
P. M. H. S.
The gentleman's club experience in a cosy and affordable venue. I'll come back.
A. L.
I loved cosy club in Nottingham. The inside is beautiful and the menu was good. Fairly priced and staff are friendly and helpful.
A. F.
Cosy Club, according to my intel opened not long before the Lockdown of March 2020.
From the outside it is in a grandiouse building, spreading 2 floors.
It is a weird experience to be sitting in a restaurant/bar and have your waiting staff all wear facemasks, but we live in strange times.
The drinks menu was as long as the food menu, I don't know whether that's a good thing, it is only an observation.
The menu does not go on for pages but does it need to? It has enough and enough choice is good if it is done well. It caters for all:
You like steak? There is stake.
You are vegan? There is vegan food (and not bad either!).
You have the kids with you? There is a kids menu.
I had the Thai chicken curry and what a treat it was.
I wouldn't call it expensive but then eating out usually ends up being pricey. With an 'Eat out to help out' price tag, though it was OK.
D. M.
Yes definitely, excellent staff and luxurious surroundings.
If they reduced their menu and cooked everything from fresh it could be very special indeed.
Not the right surroundings for any of that tasting menu stuff but just good wholesome grub.
A. S.
Visited on the opening night of the restaurant and was immediately greeted with very friendly staff and was taken to the upstairs restaurant. The room was fairly dim but still more than light enough to read the menu's, lighting was mainly provided by a plethora of beautiful chandeliers. When ordering drinks we were immediately offered water which I thought was a nice touch. The meals were brought out in fairly good time and were perfect in my opinion, especially considering the reasonable pricing for the restaurant. In short a great ambience with lovely food and wonderful servers, will definitely be returning
J. M.
We had our wedding reception here and cant recommend it enough. Amazing food, brilliant staff.... We had the best day ever ☺️
J. S.
I was very eager to eat here after having a look round with a view to booking a company function. This building is absolutely stunning. It has a very elegant and old fashioned but very contemporary feel. I visited here with Mr P, my two teenage children, my Dad and his partner. We decided to have brunch as my kids are quite fussy and I knew they would have more choice. Our food was very nice, although I had to return my Cosy eggs as they were not very hot, (something I really don’t like doing). The staff were brilliant and they replaced my food quickly and with no fuss. We had six clean plates at the end which is always a good sign. Service was very good although there was a short wait for food which is to be expected during busy times.
I would recommend this place for drinks or food; I would love to while away a few hours in the gin bar and intend to do so very soon.
J.
As people who really don't like shopping or shopping centres, we always go here when in PDC. Not too big, but a really modern cleverly designed shopping centre with good food and drink options, mini golf, open air cinema and an ale-hop! Even non shoppers can enjoy a visit.
D. H.
Beautiful building, fantastic staff and the food was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. Great night out with colleagues.
D. S.
Lunchtime meal to celebrate my daughters graduation today, very nice attentive staff, nice menu and tasty food. A beautiful building and interesting old Victorian decor
T. D.
Wow what a place! Great for Breakfast.
G. C.
Great place. Fab service. Lovely and comfortable with fab architecture and friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back soon.

My boyfriend and I came along last night to make use of my 'eat out because you missed out voucher' and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Having only tried Lounge food I was curious to see how the Cosy Club menu differed and we definitely weren't disappointed. My pork belly was delicious, as were the mini cinnamon doughnuts😋Our waitress was really attentive, friendly and chatty even as service began to pick up. Such an impressive building with stunning decor too!
S. s.
Superb setting. Very attentive staff. Great service. Good value tasty food too.

Feb 2020 (possibly teething issues). Firstly, the building is stunning. Beautiful in a kind of Victorian, but hipster, speakeasy style. Even the toilets retain the big porcelain features etc, so top marks for restoring the building. We came for breakfast (brunch) on a Sunday morning. It was quite busy, i'd say 75% of the tables had guests. It did take a little while to get served, and the staff were busy which perhaps explains why they seemed a bit 'indifferent'. As a vegetarian, I went for the veggie breakfast. When it arrived, it was lacking the Halloumi , after asking the server, she explained it was in the fritter. So... When I realised my rosti was not the fritter, I then again called over the server, and said I was missing the fritter. Moments later the fritter arrived. It wasn't worth the wait, it was a little sorry for itself to be honest. I guess I didn't expect these rookie errors in such a nice place, but hope it improves as it's got great potential.
A. B.
Fantastic evening, from the delicious cocktails, amazing atmosphere, great friendly wait staff and delicious food. A really cool and fun place to spend an evening!
L. B.
Fancy! Our waiter was really fun I didn't catch his name but his socks were memorable 😁 food was very good and service was fab during a busy time.
S. G.
Lovely place, friendly staff, yummy food and cocktails.
J. M. J.
Good cocktail selection, very pleasing and grand interior decor. The staff are lovely too.
R. B.
The place is absolutely magnificent. Service is great, all the staff are friendly and helpful which made us overlook our delayed orders, but to be fair it was a Sunday and it is a hot spot in Nottingham right now 🤷🏻♀️
I got a coffee and the “Cosy Eggs” with mushroom and spinach; everything was supreme!
On average it was ~10£ per person for a meal and a drink.
I hope they keep delivering top notch service!
R. D.
The setting in an old gentlemen's club is fantastic. Cosy Club always manages to hit the vibe so well. The food was good and what you'd expect. Overall enjoyed the experience!
A. D.
I have to say I was pretty impressed at this new establishment, a chain with a few other restaurants in the Midlands and beyond.
There were plentiful staff, possibly due to new opening, from welcoming us in to showing us around as you might have at a fine dining eatery. All were smiling and courteous. Very plush decor in an already grand building.
The downstairs main bar is large and more functional, the gin bar cosy! Upstairs are large (my favourite) and small private rooms. Another private room is on the middle floor with the dining area. Again, this is pretty vast and opulent.
The restaurant’s aim appears to be decent service with a smile, efficient use of covers and tasty, attractive British food with worldwide twists at mid-level prices and good value. In this respect it didn’t disappoint.
Brunch dishes of shakshuka for me and all day breakfast for my colleague came quite swiftly, and attractive on the plate. Good quality ingredients and overall rich, tasty food with a good emphasis on flavour and seasoning. My only complaint would be that my additional rosti was obviously machine formed and fried from frozen - but for the price, I can’t complain too much!
I’ve already come here again the next day, for evening drinks - a tad slow but what else would you expect on a flowing Saturday night on opening weekend - I’m sure that’ll improve. Cocktails appeared reasonable value for Nottingham, and were tasty. If it stays this busy perhaps they can open a free private room in the future.
Looking forward to visiting again for their tapas selection or mains (ever so slightly less appealing when looking at the menu cf tapas or brunch menus) and of course some more drinks!
T. C.
Fantastic venue. Great staff and a particular shout out fir Georgina alias 'G' who's effort made our visit perfect.
C. M.
Lovely relaxing place for lunch in the bar.
Staff are always pleasant & polite & very helpful.
J. W.
Nice place but not a place for the disabled as there are stairs up to the restaurant and no lift ( it being a listed building)
j. s.
Long wait for food, which was frankly a little disappointing. Unfortunately poached eggs were very overcooked and the tortilla on another dish were slightly burnt. 2 members of staff walking around holding hands rather than working. Beautiful decor and nice environment though.
f. w.
What an amazing luscious building. Atmospheric with cheerful wait staff. We had the vegan menu which had several tasty choices for mains, but sadly only 1 dessert. Also list their vegan wines so you don't have to research them. Definitely would recommend.
M. G.
Excellent food, a really interesting menu. Fabulous service, the staff were particularly attentive to me with my guide dog. Will definitely come back.
T. J.
We had our wedding reception here with about 25 people. Coming to the Cosy Club was a humongous highlight to the day! The building and interior are stunning, the staff were so attentive, and the food was delicious!! We honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue. THANK YOU!! We will definitely be back in the future.
M. C.
Absolutely fabulous evening in sumptuous surroundings
Great service wonderful staff and friendly too.... Great Food and a lovely atmosphere.... Loved the 241 Cocktails.... Can't wait to go again xx
T. G.
Went at Lunchtime . Only had a drink, pint of Amstals lager £4.30. was expecting to pay more . Nice place ,very relaxed, staff friendly and well worth a visit . Food menu seemed reasonable for type of venue. Made a nice change from my usual Wetherspoons 🙂
S. M.
Lovely place hidden away, amazing food and attentive friendly staff, really impressed 😘
C.
Nice surroundings with a sense of history. Attentive and efficient service from the staff. The menu was varied without being overloaded. The food was well presented, taste was above expectations.
J. C.
Breakfast at Cosy Club is the best start to the day 🤌
R. M.
Nice place to eat set in an old gentleman's club. A bit busy on Saturday night and didn't see anyone wearing a mask. Food was good but comes with no garnish/ salad. What's on the menu is what you get... order steak or burger and chips and that's what you get. Plenty of space on the plate for the small cup of chips you get. The chips come in a small paper cone which sit in a cup so you only get half of what you expected.
P. H.
Great food and drinks! I'm gluten free and they really looked after me. Cocktails were really nice too.
J. H.
Love this place - super-friendly staff and great food. Brunches a speciality!
J. A.
Beautiful venue.. great staff. Just really fantastic all around.
J. W.
Food was excellent, the building beautiful and has a certain feel about it. We had cocktails which were delicious however, I'd steer clear of buying a pitcher as they overload them with ice. We payed 25 pounds for a pitcher and when we held the ice there were only 2 tumblers of actual drink. When we asked about this we were told that it's all measured out and that we should have used the ice to pad out the drinks. Apart from this it was a lovely experience
F. K.
Worried by the bad reviews but needn't have as customer service is best we have ever experienced. From reception until leaving all members of staff were absolutely brilliant.
Busy Friday evening so we went early for an anniversary dinner, but bar was manic before 6pm. Despite the crowds we were hosted from reception to bar and even assisted on the beautiful staircase as my wife is disabled.
In the restaurant, a quieter table was found for us. Then the lovely Anya took over and ensured a perfect evening.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending
the Cosy Club!
R. C.
Great little pub good atmosphere dog friendly

My very large family have booked a private room for a Christmas evening meal. My sister, brother-in-law and myself met up with Shelly Hemsley, Sales and Events Manager to see the room and facilities. She was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble, she was very accommodating. She gave us a tour of all 3 floors and included some history of the place. The Cosy Club is ideal for our needs and the whole place looks amazing with an Art Deco look. We were that thrilled about it, that we've booked a lunchtime meal this week for my sister's birthday.
T. W.
Popped in for brunch and so glad we did. lovely helpful staff and fantastic food. we'll definitely be back x
S. G.
The best go to place in Nottingham 2020!! Very professional service, very grand classy decor, lovely food, great drinks and cocktail selection. Caters for small and large parties. You definitely need to visit this place. Reasonably priced. Look to park in fletcher gate cark park.
T. W.
Always love visiting the Cosy Club. Always situated within historic buildings with tasteful decor. It is a cocktail bar so be mindful of the wait to be served.
g. s.
Lovely place for a meal, built in the 1800 still got the original decor inside like eating in a stately home, food and service very good
K. M.
Great food and service. Nice setting . Ok prices.. if you have a large appetite add a side.
S. s.
What a surprise , lovely period building , great attentive friendly staff , fairly priced food and a relaxed atmosphere
C. G.
Amazing venue, full of history and culture, great food and great bar staff. Thanks for a lovely evening with the wedding party. 👌😁
K. C.
Went here for lunch. The service was okay but we waited a long time for food and it came as soon as we asked where it was, which suggests it had been forgotten about. The portion size was very small for the price and my poached egg was extremely overcooked and rubbery. Beans were dry - clear the food had been under a hot lamp for a while.
E. C.
The atmosphere, wait staff and cocktails were fantastic and I would return because of this, however the food was very salty and too rich
L. K.
This is definitely going to be one of mine and my husband's favourite places to drink .. beautiful decor helpful bar staff .. really looking forward to going again!!!!!
N. W.
This was a real treat. The venue was a wonderful (Edwardian?) ex men's club with leaded lights, pillars and chandeliers: apparently it was abandoned for 14 years before being rescued and made into this excellent cafe/lounge. The menu was extensive and imaginative, reasonably priced and delicious. The service was faultless and very friendly. I'll definitely be visiting here again!
D. M.
Fabulous place, great atmosphere, lovely staff and the food was really nice.
C. H.
Very busy on Saturday night. Food lovely, gorgeous restaurant. Would go again but on a quieter night
I. J.
This is just a really nice place to go for drinks with friends, family or significant other. Would definitely visit again.
D. J.
Really lovely atmosphere. Food was excellent and freshly cooked.
G. S.
Beautiful building. Child friendly. Nice food, not as nice as it used to be though
A. M.
Lives up to its name - really enjoyed our cocktails on a girly night out!
J. G. R.
Been several times to this venue, the most recent hosting my work teams Christmas night out. The food is good, the staff are awesome and always a great vibe in this impressive building.
C. H.
Attended a wedding reception as a guest, everything was smooth - food was lovely and waiting staff very attentive. Really enjoyed being able to select food off a menu instead of it being set! Lots of room to dance after the food and really appreciated the fans that we're brought out to keep us cool!
a. g.
First time yesterday ,staff lovely ,food best I have eaten, the interior out this world, one word old fashion glamour .love it .
J. H.
Was served by Emily P, she was so lovely and gave great and efficient service. Made our night better :)
B. H.
Great setting, great service. Food good but small portion sizes
B. P.
Wonderful use of a great old building. Food excellent. Booking essential
d. h.
Great place for drinks and cocktails will definitely go again and try breakfast 👍😁
E. T.
Absolutely stunning place and the food was as good as it looks. I will definitely be going back
E. F.
Excellent service, food and venue. Couldn't ask for a better place in Nottingham!
m. b.
Fabulous old building, a former gentlemen's club. Good food, reasonable prices
L.
Kindly got invited to the opening night... really beautiful venue and attentive staff! I’ll definitely return 😊👌🏼
E. K.
Had lunch with husband and two friends. The atmosphere is amazing. Decor is outstanding. It makes you feel special going in there.
The food was delicious. Portions just the right size. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for my friend.
Staff were friendly, professional and service was excellent.
I will recommend the Cosy Club to friends. While it isn't the cheapest place in Nottingham, it is one of the most stylish and cosy. Love it!
C. B.
Amazing selection of cocktails, well stocked bar, beautiful building and decor.
H. S.
The ambience was lovely. It had Victorian architecture and staff was kind and helpful.
D. P.
Dropped someone off. Looked good from the outside. Would be a makeshift taxi again
C. V.
Love this place, feels like we're treating ourselves when we go there. Friendly, helpful staff, consistently fantastic food and sumptuous surroundings. And all for a very reasonable price.
A. R.
Fab place dropped in for a quick drink while Christmas shopping place has not changed in for ever was a Gentleman's Club then a Casino. Chatty bar man Brew Dog AF Punk top spot
S. W.
Yummy food, cream was a bit off though, but the customer service was 5 star, however we had an hour wait for the bill and to pay, so almost missed our train and cut our shopping trip short.
D. P.
Love this place for Breakfast. Really nice atmosphere and a great choice of dishes - from standard breakfast fare to exotic
S. W.
We had a lovely meal in the spectacular setting of a once gentleman's club/ casino..highly recommend! .
M. B.
Nice inside and staff friendly. Food was good and available in bar area if restaurant full/not open
I. W.
Really like this place, it has an atmosphere that is very difficult to recreate, the age of the building, location, the very original decor, the back drop story the place has makes it what it is, a must to visit when in Notts.
S. M.
Amazing staff, great food, relaxed environment in wonderful original building
b. s.
Nice atmosphere. Great service. Food selection a bit odd -- very eclectic; it doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. But decent food, nonetheless. Excellent drinks menu.
A. J.
I really enjoyed lunch at the Cosy Club. The food and service were great. The building was absolutely amazing. I spent a considerable amount of time just gazing at the internal architecture. Beautiful and inviting. I will definitely go there again. Apparently Brunch is great too.
C. M.
Upmarket place. Fantastic decor from the 20's. Checked the menu, looks nice.
Will eat here soon.
M.
What a magnificent place. Popped in as we heard how quirky and elegant looking. Ended up not wanting to leave the sofas, bought a bottle of wine and got sloshed! Fab place to chill with friends.
S. F.
Fabulous environment, extremely attentive staff, great food quality there's really nothing to not love about the place. 😀👍
L. D. H.
Lovely location. Service was ok. Bloody Mary's tomato juice was so watered down it was undrinkable. We were sat near to exit and the smoke from the servers on their smoke break was just waffing in. Will try again and hope for better
S. W.
Absolutely loved it. Great place. Brilliant staff.
Espresso Martini was lovely.
T. H.
Wonderful place to drop into for a drink and a bite to eat if you're in town. The food is amazing (huevos rancheros recommended... best I've tasted outside Mexico). The staff are also some of the most attentive and friendly I have ever met. All round excellent.
B. B.
Such a gorgeous building! Drink prices reasonable, haven't eaten there but planning soon!!
K. “. J.
Always feel genuinely welcome, covid restrictions are taken very seriously and food is very tasty!

M. F.
Amazing decor, friendly staff the best cocktails. I would highly recommend the bloody mary
P. T. (.
Absolutely brilliant, very cosy and cocktails went down a treat! Thank you Cosy Club
C. M.
This once gentlemens club has been restored and turned into bars, a fine dine restaurant, cocktail bar which offers cocktail masterclasses and also room for wedding reseptions and a conference room spread out over several floors which all show off the great architecture. The hostess on the door was very friendly as we're all the bar staff. Definitely worth a visit.
R. G.
The building its self is supurb, the meals were very tasty and the staff were excellent with great banter 👍🏼👍🏼
L. S.
We visited Cosy Club for our first girls get together since lockdown and had a delicious brunch, and a few cocktails! The food was lovely, the building beautiful and the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. The staff were welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. They were attentive without being over bearing and so friendly. They’re a credit to the business and probably the main reason we’ll go back
I had the veggie breakfast which had a nice variety of ingredients, all cooked well with the option to add extras 😋
N. T.
Bar was brilliant.. men's toilets very smelly made the whole experience off putting
D. B.
Lovely place & lovely staff, wouldn't rush back for food though.
T. R.
Absolutely fantastic, what an amazing building. Great selection of drinks and nothing too much trouble for the fantastic staff.
J. W.
First visit and what a beautiful setting! A really opulent venue for drinks and/or food.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming on our visit and we enjoyed the varied brunch menu. Food was of a high quality and well put together. Nice coffee too. Good Covid precautions and felt very secure while dining.
We will certainly be coming back as the evening menu looks great and they seem to serve a good array of drinks too.
C. W.
Outstanding interior with original period features. Both brunch and dinner here is very good for what they are charging. The service is excellent, I have visited multiple times and on every occasion the staff are quick and friendly; only wish I could afford to tip them more!
Worth a visit for locals and tourists without doubt.
F. M.
Wonderful environment, excellent customer service from the door right through to paying our bill. Our waitress Lilly was amazing and Cameron was a great host, we asked to see the bookable rooms and they were beautiful 10/10
H. O. (.
Good value cocktails. Really nice vibe.
K. M.
What a great old casino building, architecturally fantastic, in which to sit back in comfortable furniture & enjoy a relaxing drink with friends.
M. H.
Amazing setting, friendly welcoming staff and food was lovely
S. R.
Beautiful setting, lovely food & staff are awesome!
R. M.
Despite experiences at other bars and with said bouncers associated with other bars in notts from where we went, cosy club was awesome, friendly and welcoming from the front door to the bar...... Drinks were great and literally is what it says on the tin, cosy! Layouts pretty unusual in a good way, and I'd go back over and over to this place.
A. B.
Stunning! We held our wedding reception here and it was faultless from beginning to end. The food was stunning and excellent value for money. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly hold any future events in this stunning venue and would highly recommend to anyone.
Z. T.
No lift if your unable to go upstairs but it goes with the age of the building. Lots of character.
S. J.
Great place to eat. Good food and friendly staff.
I. G.
Went in for cocktails and we really enjoyed the experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The decor was beautiful and a good atmosphere.
D. G.

Friendly staff and great service and brunch! Will return!
D. M. S.
Thank you to everyone for the wonderful welcome, excellent service and delicious food this evening. I love nothing more than spending time with family so having 12 of us celebrate my birthday at the Cosy Club was really rather special.
N. D.
I was in Nottingham with a friend and found the Cosy Club. In Lincoln we have a cosy club which is good however the Nottingham one is very grand and with lovely sofas and comfy chairs, the bar area is grand too. It is a very welcoming place, very friendly staff and we spent a very pleasant hour there.
C. S.
Contact tracing on the door which is great. Hand gel available throughout and tables well spaced. The tapas was very enjoyable. Favourite dish was the mushrooms. Staff are much friendlier than some other Cosy Clubs I've been to which made a nice change. Service great too.
N.
Lovely atmosphere, great menu, great peoole
W. T.
The food was not as great as it use to be and seems like all they serve in tapas is freezer food that is still good but the brisket has lost its flavours. Staff are lively but forgot part of our order.
T. H.
Staff are lovely. Food is simple but nicely done. The building is the real star of the show - it's been beautifully decorated and gives a really luxurious feel
C. R.
What a beautiful building with great food, wonderful service and delicious cocktails. A great place for an upmarket brunch... just keep an eye on your bill as the drinks add up.
D. P.
Quite place to enjoy meal and drinks,in stunning surroundings ,with 5 star service,
Mid to high prices, but worth the visit.
Dave👍
H. M.
Nice environment, friendly team but food was only ok
S. S.
What lovely friendly staff, I went with my baby to meet my friends for the 1st time since lockdown lifting and the staff were amazing & so helpful.
The food was lovely as well. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable
R. F.
The restoration of this venue is very impressive. We went for drinks recently and really enjoyed it. The ground floor bar is really classy and opulent and the cocktails were great. The two for £9.95 deal was good too. We're looking forward to visiting again and trying the food next time.
S. C.
Really great food, nice drinks, and good service. Will definitely be back!!
S. S.
Been here twice now and found both occasions in the bar area to be very good. On a family visit today, the staff were friendly, the service was great and the food was excellent.
It was fairly busy on arrival and difficult to find a seat having our little one along in a push chair but two different members of the public offered to swap seats which was nice. After ordering food, I realised that I had not requested special dietary requirements on one of the dishes and although this was my fault, it was replaced without question which was much appreciated. When we left, staff were straight over to lend a hand taking the pushchair down the steps.
See you again soon.
Thank you for a great service
J. B.
Never been before but well worth a visit. The food was delicious and really good service.
J.
Great decor, ambiance and service, in a good location.

k. k.
Loved this place, loved the decor and atmosphere, lovely food
C. P.
I was curious to peek into a world of luxury and glory from the old times and it was just what i was expecting. The building is magnific and they had an excellent job restauring it. The service was really good, presentation in food anazjng at a really good price. Looking forward to coming back.
R. W.
My wife and I were so impressed with the decor of The Cosy Club. It feels so special. We were there on a weekday afternoon an it was definitely the highlight of our afternoon.
M.
Stunning victorian interior, great food, good service.
A. C.
Beautiful interior, the menu has a great selection and the food was delicious. The staff are attentive and welcoming, and the place has a great atmosphere.
My only criticism/suggestion would be about apparent seating issues; we booked and stayed at our table eating brunch for about 1.5 hours, but while coming in we saw walk-ups being turned away because tables weren’t available. Meanwhile during our stay, some tables remained empty throughout. There were never more than two thirds of tables occupied. If bookings haven’t arrived, those tables could be given to walk-ups. Or else perhaps offer only some of your tables for booking.
M. E.
Absolutely love this bar! Such a relaxed place for a cuppa or a beer and the staff are all efficient and friendly.
S. D.
Food was good, staff were polite and attentive and the environment is lovely and relaxed
d. b.
First time visiting went in for a couple of drinks, amazing venue, will be going back, great helpful staff.
J. G.
A few drinks. Very pleasant staff. Thank you x
H. L.
Another lovely evening in this wonderful place. A lovely lady, who came to help out from the Cardiff Cozy Club, was lovely, and the gentleman that looked after us at our table - great cap and bow tie - was fabulous. Completely understand we could only have the table for one hour and 45 minutes, I really hope you were able to fill that table a few times after we left.
Ben remembered us from the last time we visited which was very much appreciated.
The food, as before, was delivered hot, lovely and tasty. We were missing the chipotle mayonnaise but only realised this when we got home! Fabulous evening and we truly hope Monday doesn't bring bad news. Stay strong!
T.
Great welcoming staff and gorgeous decor. The building has been beautifully restored. Very comfortable chilled atmosphere with great music. Just what Nottingham was missing. I will be back for certain and highly recommend.
K. M.
Lovely team & wonderful setting - very pleased to have found this place, its Victoria eye candy with the intimate rooms & silk wallpaper & stained glass windows... A visual treat!
J. D.
Great food in a great venue. I had a really nicely cooked breakfast as did all those dining with me.
T. P.
Really nice bar - very stylish, decent selection of drinks and huge windows to watch the world passing by!
A. H.
The building is stunning, the staff were nice but looked a bit shabby, food was mediocre. The music played doesn't fit the setting at all.
Covid care was good and the place could be seen to be cleaned and organised.
Little bit of work needed on food quality
C. T.
Great venue to relax with friends. Rooms tastefully decorated with comfy seats.
A. S.
Lovely spot for dinner, kind and attentive staff
S. H.
Lovely building, very impressive setting, but the service was terrible and the waitress was too busy chatting to let me pay my bill. I waited for 10 minutes, making eye contact and even waiving at her, but was still ignored. I ended up paying by walking up to her colleague.
d. r.
Great surroundings lovely food fantastic staff. Definitely going back.
B. C.
Went in for the first time on Saturday evening and it was lovely, fab cocktails and great atmosphere. Took my mum in yesterday as she used to go in 40 years ago when it was The Victoria Club! You have done an amazing job with this building, soooo many lovely memories for my mum. The chap behind the bar deserves a mention as he was so lovely and chatty explaining all about the cosy club etc a real ambassador for yourselves!!
Next time would love to treat mum to a meal!
P. “. S.
It's pretty cozy. Expensive but it's to be expected.
B. H.
What a perfect morning of discovery in our own city. Called in and had coffee and the hospitality we received was top rate. Congratulations to the manager and staff...you made two mature ladies very welcome. It was a bonus to be shown around this magnificent building...it brought back happy memories of dining at the Vic Club many moons ago.
W. L.
To start this pub is in a beautiful old Nottingham landmark building. The owners have clearly invested heavily on it to keep it looking amazing. The pub it self is great value and has a great selection of food and drinks. Highly recommend
J. W.
Excellent beef Wellingtons followed by very good desserts. Easy service and overall a very enjoyable lunch.
L. D.
Lovely family visit to our favourite restaurant venue. Good food, great service, fab building!
R. J.
Been many times. Big improvement in the choices on the breakfast menu was very welcome
S. B.
Fabulous place, taking you back to the past in terms of the decor. Food almost inedible and suspect there is no chef, just a chap in the back bunging things into a microwave. If you are under 45 and just want a drink, it’s a great venue. If you are around 50/60 and want a vaguely reasonable meal, in spite of the fabulous surroundings, then Cosy Club is not for you.
a. k.
Gorgeous building, standard food, you get what you pay for which is not a complaint.
A. C.
Had heard about the restoration that this place has gone through so I suppose my expectations where high. It is a beautiful building, just don't look too closely at the details. We just popped in for lunchtime drinks to try it out. The service was ok. Would like to try the food but the lunch menu was a bit disappointing if I'm honest.
B. c.
Beautiful place, staff fantastic. Definitely will be returning again soon.
N. C.
Probably the best place to hang out in Notts currently. The interiors are stunning. Prices are reasonable and service is decent. Bar serves your orders quickly and they have a fine card of tapas and small snacks. On the ground floor the bars spreads across two beautiful rooms with plenty of space and the staircase to the restaurant is a Insta-picturesque 📸 Worth visiting!! I'll be coming back soon !!
A. E.
Lovely food and drinks in a impressive building.
A. L.
Great place for a gathering, gin room and chandeliers, food was delicious and all the staff were so friendly and made great drinks
S. S.
A brilliant building, staff fantastic! But food is very average and expensive...
H. J.
Great venue - lovely staff, booked for a leaving do. Great food. Can't wait to go back
J. S.
A beautiful building that retains the essence of the 1870s. It feels like you need to put on a tuxedo or smart dress when going in. Excellent drinks and service, too!
C. M.
Great decor, food was spot on, lovely service & reasonable price. Can't say fairer than that
L. U.
An amazing building, friendly staff and lovely food. Reasonably priced for such an opulent building.
P. K.
The wife and I visited on the opening weekend and we were amazed at the decor and the effort that the staff had made with dressing to match the surroundings.
We booked a table for a meal and unfortunately the food was not served to Cosy Clubs standards, we generally never complain but wanted to make sure the meal we had was served as it should have been.
After mentioning our concerns to Sam, he immediately resolved the issues and arranged replacements. He also removed the cost of both of our meals. We did not expect this and we were more than happy to pay for our meals after the issues were resolved.
Please remember this was the opening weekend of the largest Cosy Clubs in the UK and some initial problems were to be expected.
The wife and I look forward to visiting again many times in the future.
The decor, atmosphere, service and the food are well worth a visit.
M. E.
Really nice venue, very stylish. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and served promptly.
M. L.
Went to a small function here yesterday and I have to say the whole experience was amazing. Vee our server was a joy, nothing was to much, and was bubbly and happy the entire time.
B. B.
Really lovely place for food and cocktails, beautifully decorated and wonderfully friendly staff!
N. F.
Amazing food. Amazing staff. Always..

Great food, lovely staff and service was good despite it being busy. Atmosphere was really good and had a great brunch with friends.
E. F.
Beautiful surroundings and food. Excellent customer service
K. M.
Amazing breakfast foods here! Fully recomend the huevos rancheros!! And then pancakes to follow, if i lived in Nottingham City I'd be broke and fat! Can't wait to come again!
T. H.
As usual a typically excellent Cosy Club. Great food great drink and a great place to visit, what more is there to say
e. f.
Staff helpful and generally efficient but while food tasty, on cool plates, vegges were only luke warm. They made it right and gave us bottle of wine and coffees. Lovely atmosphere which still reminds of the old days as The Victoria Club.
D. W.
Fabulous place full of atmosphere, great food and drink with friendly, attentive staff. Love it!
D.
Nice food, interesting decor & nice atmosphere.

Lovely coffee. Expensive breakfast. Friendly staff and good service.
E. B.
Lovely environment, very nice coffee and hot chocolate. Very nice and friendly staff who go that extra mile
S. K.
Just popped into the Cosy Club, for a quiet cocktail, and was pleasantly surprised. It was great to see a variety of people enjoying drinks and conversation. Staff were discreetly attentive and the music was subtle. Will most certainly return with my girlfriends!
A. E.
Good food and great service, would highly recommend
J. G.
The interior is absolutely stunning, which is what you expect is you have ever been in a cosy club before.
We didn't have cocktails this time round, but I can say whole heartedly the hot chocolate (that comes with marshmallows as standard) is divine.
I. A.
Great food, atmosphere and service
M. C.
Not as 'cosy' as some cosy clubs, the atmosphere is a little colder but the same bar favourites and good food can be found. Coffee excellent.
J. A.
Beautiful building so opulent. Staff lovey and friendly. Can’t wait to go again *****
i. c.
Only had drinks so can not really comment, will be returning to try the food soon!!! Exceptional decor!!!
S. B.
Came here this afternoon for some late lunch and cocktails. as it was my birthday . Great place . lovely staff , great decor , great venue, great puddings, will defiantly be coming back again. The GF loved it to
C. T.
Great food and the staff were lovely. It's not cheap, but what a night out!
M. C.
Agree with previous review; beautiful place, friendly staff and good for drinks but food is not great. Family of 4 and my husband’s belly of pork with gratin was cold and needed to be re-heated so were the peas of both our teenage daughter’s meals. I tried the Super Food Bowl which all just seemed thrown together in a bowl and the additional haloumi (£2.50) was 2 tiny pieces. We had a great food experience at Guildford Cosy Club, however the food at Nottingham needs improvements and we will give Cosy Club a miss next time we are in Nottingham.
M. M.
Well nice, food fantastic atmosphere was great really nice place to visit
E. G.
First visit. Grand surroundings. Friendly staff, happy to tell us about the place. Loved it.
S. H.

s. h.
Lovely decor, great drinks and very helpful and friendly staff
P. L.
We've waited a long time for a cosy club to open in Nottingham and we just hope it will soon be there when this crazy world returns to some form of normality. We had a fab meal and felt very safe with all the covid measures in place. Great service from Callum too.
p. t.
Friendly staff, nice food ,ideal for get together and chit chat, toilets were clean but quite dark.
A. S.
Beautiful place and decoration but ridiculous price for some food for a party, for example 2 small platters of chips £55!!!!
J. H.
Beautiful downstairs bar. Great service on NYD
j. p.
Lovely place, lovely staff, food was very good and price was good . Definitely going again 😃

Beautiful venue. Fantastic food. Excellent staff. Love it. Thank you
R.
Beautiful building and polite staff but there is no excuse for serving Luke warm food.such a shame the kitchen staff don't pay more attention to their work
C. F.
Love this place...like going into Downton Abbey...fab dining room and bars have comfy armchairs & settees with loads of cushions. Plenty of choice on food & drinks. Been so many times. Would recommend.😀
R. T.
Downstairs bar area is nice, and you can order food from a bar menu in here. Staff numbers were low so it took a long time to order food and drinks and wait for them to arrive. Not one for a quick lunch break.
a.
I just love the opulence of the place. A great find. Waiters and servers were great.
J. F.
Great brunches, an even better bloody mary
J. B.
We had a reunion for six old friends and decided to book a table for breakfast
