I consider myself something of a fish and chip connoisseur, and fish express have some of the best fish and chips in Nottingham! The batter is always light and crisp, and the chips cooked fresh and just right. The staff always offer great customer service and it is reasonably priced.

Best chicken kebab hands down (Mediterranean) - My only complaint is the prices displayed on uber eats are sooooo high ! Like over £20 for a kebab for 2 people! Madness. Just can't justify paying it as much as I'd like to. But sooooo damn good and I'm a mega fussy eater ! *** I have recently moved house and have been ordering here this past week far too much 😂 Kamil, is the best delivery driver ever 👌 I have also started using the website to order directly, oh my goodness! I didn't realise this chippy was local to me ( having lived nearby for 31 years!) until i drove past it last week. Went in this evening and was warmly greeted and after placing my order of fish, chips and curry sauce was informed of a meal deal saving me a couple of quid. This was our second visit and the food is superb. Far and away the best fish and chips in Aspley and probably Nottingham. The chips are to die for and the fish was superb. My wife is fussy when it comes to fish and chips but even she said it was very good. If you want friendly staff, great food and good service, then come here. This is now our go to place for a chippy tea.

Excellent quality, brilliant very helpful staff, clean, bright great atmosphere whilst being served. I started with fish and chip meal, wrapped, not oil soaked, chips chrisp and quality to eat. When again purched same meal, same high quality NOW, venturing into wrap menu, guided by a quality staff member, who explained the deal, salad selection ,fresh, 2 types of chicken cut into 2 smaller wraps, a portion of chips, another customer stated, for that price, it is fantastic value. Our first time trying this place and it was excellent, the chips portions were huge so keep that in mind. I liked that they had so many sauces, the curry sauce was excellent. I only do online ordering. When you order online you can collect from the shop or have it delivered we always collect The menu is very comprehensive. Not only does it serve fish and chips but kebabs,jjt potatoes etc. The fish is very fresh. The salad us fresh and very nice. Kebabs beautiful. Jkt potatoes beautiful. Nothing negative to say. Visited this chip shop one day whilst passing.The modern interior makes it look so clean and fresh and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us delicious onion rings whilst we waited. The owner ( i think) was very attentive making sure all the food was fresh and the extra garnish's were a pleasant surprise ( restaurant quality) the young girl who served us was very friendly also. We traveled 20 min or so by car wit the food in tow ( bad traffic) and to our amazement the food was just as delicious as it looked going into the boxes. Fish was not greasy or over battered. Myself and my boys came out of Patrick’s Barbers and were discussing our new trims, when we were overcome by the amazing aroma of fresh chips coming from this chip shop next door. The guys were cleaning the counter after the previous customer, and I could see there was a COVID safe screen installed for customer’s and staff’s safety. Without further hesitation I ordered 4 meals and was really impressed with the friendliness of the two guys serving, The cleanliness of the place and I haven’t even mentioned the food yet!! The chips were fantastic, really fresh, light and fluffy inside and cooked to perfection. Last week we had a terrible experience with the chip shop I have been using for 15+ years, so today’s visit couldn’t have come at a better time. Will definitely be visiting Fish Express from now on!!

Recently had a delivery from FishExpress whilst staying in the nearbyPremier Inn. Hopes were low as I normally find fish n chips don't travel well. Chips stuck together, soggy batter etc.. Wrong. The chips were good and the enormous fish was crispy and delicious with perfect flaking white fish. Top job.
