Came here on a Monday evening for our anniversary. Decor is lovely, nice atmosphere. The dough petals were soft and doughy with a garlic butter. We had pasta to start, both the carbonara and romesco bucatini were tasty, a good size for the small portion. It also came very quickly. We then had the carnivoro pizza and duck main, the breast was huge, not so much mash and greens but was very full by the end of it. We had a bottle of the Aglianco which was full bodied as described. Shout out to Petya who gave great service.

I ordered a latte but got it in a cup of cappuccino. The place is beautifully prepared, congratulations to the design team. many visually pleasing details. I had a view of the bar and the boys there were fantasizing in glasses, a real show. However, I expect to be put on a table and receive sugar, not saccharin at the latte ordered. I'll be back, but on a less crowded day.

Lunch Gusto Restaurants Nottingham We don't do chains normally but a family member wanted to go so we thought we'd try it. It's their 13th location in the chain so not too big. We went for the set lunch menu. Starters Calamari 535kcal Vegetable Brodo 176kcal Mains Salmon 738kcal + supplement Chicken 891kcal Truffle fries 532kcal Dessert Tiramisu 506kcal You know your in a chain establishment when there's calorie count on the menu. Service was OK as it wasn't too busy when we went. Found the drinks to be quite a bit overpriced and gawd knows how many calories are in four large glasses of wine.🤣 Review helpful like 👍 follow thanks

We love Italian so wanted to try it. The starter we went for the antipasti board and was delicious. The barrata was so smooth. We then had the roast chicken and the arrabiata for main. Pasta has a kick to it and the chicken has a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. Overall we ate everything on our plate and loved it. Atmosphere was really nice too. We were lucky to be under the olive tree so was gorgeous. Staff you can tell are still new and in training as the place has only recently opened but they were great and check in on us. Deffo be going again!

The food is actually decent, this is the second time I came here for brunch the first time was really good however the second time I ordered salmon avocado and poach egg the food was nice but I could literally not see or taste any avocado which is disappointing for the price and the breads for the brunch was very poor it could be a better quality as for that price I had better, for the price they charge I would expect more.

Gusto means enjoyment and enthusiasm in doing something and I won’t tell a lie… I really enjoyed their food and service I can count on both hands the number of restaurants in the city that have both good quality food and service and Gusto is among them Enjoyed all the courses from starters through to desserts. Highly recommended. Fantastic service from Janine all the way through and hats off to the chef(s) for maintaining a high standard on a busy day I just had a glance over the other reviews now and I am saddened that there are restaurants on here that are far worse than Gusto in terms of what they offer with a higher rating. I would definitely not let that put you off and encourage you to go and make up your own mind. For me it’s definitely worth another few trips!

Lovely decor, nice food but nothing to rave about sadly. Quite expensive for what it is. Were advised by our server not to have the pizza also as "chef hadn't got to grips with the oven" which was quite surprising as we were going to order the pizza. Put us off and had the pasta instead which was average. All in all nice, but not great.

I was thrilled, and the service was excellent. I was served by a lady named Nambu. She was adorable. The food was good, but my pasta was a bit dry, but the dessert cocktail was good (I took out the alcohol). I will definitely come back

Came here on my brother’s 30th birthday with family. Had a great time, very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Staff were great - really accommodating with excellent hospitality and service. Couldn’t fault them. Loved the presentation and high quality of the food too. An easy 5 stars. Will definitely go again!

Amazing food, such an amazing standard their calamari was the best I've ever had and their petal dough balls are out of this world! A little slow on service in the beginning, even though it looked like there was plenty of staff around. But they apologised and made up for it with very attentive service!

A member of the staff broke a glass on the nearby table some of the pieces flow to our table they didn't bother to swipe the floor or check nearby table, just collected the big pieces

First time visiting Gusto, we had a lovely waitress who attended to us all with patience. I ordered dough balls for my starter, which was absolutely delicious with a lovely mayo to go with. For my main meal, I ordered Arrabbiata pasta, which wasn't one of the best I have tried. I would possibly come again for the dough balls but would try a different main. We ordered a gin we asked for lemonade instead of tonic, but we were still given Gin & Tonic. The decor is very pleasing.

Visited the new Gusto for the first time for my daughter's birthday before going to the theatre. Service was excellent, food was yummy, atmosphere lovely. They even put a candle on her dessert and sang happy birthday!

Beautiful place with nice people but little bit disappointing. Me and my partner ordered two glasses of juice and water. They brow us juice only. After 15 minutes of waiting we finally got to order our food. I asked for water again but never came. The food wasn't coming another 20 minutes. The server asked us if we still waiting for our main after saying yes we do the food came straight away. With no water. There was noone asking us if we need anything so I had to look around the whole time to find someone. At this point I was very thirsty so had to ask AGAIN for my water. It cam. The food wasn't warm enough ( probably because it sat somewhere waiting to be served). There was not olive oil on tables as I would be expecting in Italian restaurants. The pizza dough was delicious but wasn't amazing neither Salmon of my partner. Over all alright restaurant but probably won't be coming back. I am just glad we didn't go for the steaks as we planned.

Delicious food, wide variety of drinks and cocktails available. lots of staff on hand to cater to your every need Problem being I could not hear them and they could not hear me. The layout and I'm assuming the decor of the place although a sight to behold creates an enormous noise even early in the evening 6pm sit down time We sat very central on the cusp of the upper and lower levels this may have played a part. You be the judge Almost impossible to talk to anyone at the table more than one seat away The place could easily have been 5 stars. For one reason or another I might as well have been eating in there alone. Dissapointing

had the most amazing time. the truffle mash was unreal and the service was incredible. staff were friendly and attentive. our serve was julia who was so lovely and did everything she could to celebrate my birthday. it was 18th and as someone who works in hospitality myself, i couldn’t recommend this place enough. amazing food and wine. we had the gavi di gavi which was so smooth and tasted lovely and the chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection. my mum had to duck which took a little bit longer than our food as the chef wasn’t happy with the way it was originally cooked, and we were very grateful that he took the time to cook it to perfection and my mum enjoyed it very much. i will absolutely be coming back again. 10/10

We had the pixxa experience sat at the chef table. Made our own pizza from scratch. Learnt how to shape the dough and even threw a pizza base. Excellent evening and made fabulous memories. Well worth doing as a great experience

I would of gave this a 5 star ,but our table was forgotten and we had long wait for our meals,the starters of scallops and prawn was excellent ,but waiting mains was very long ,meals was good but my duck was not as pink as it should of been,after speaking with manager he was very sincere in is apology we will return and hopefully the few issues had was down to been new restaurant ,please don't let this review for trying for your self as it as great menue and different from the norm. I've been here a few times now and the food and service had been amazing every time. My new fave Italian restaurant in Nottingham. Matt from my last visit was so lovely but as I said, all the staff are always very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend
