We ordered four different meals for take-away after we found the restaurant on Deliveroo. All of them were out of this world and the portions were above average. We would gladly pop in for a dine-in experience one day. There are tons of appetizing meals on their menu from most Latin American countries.

Used the delivery service for the first time after always receiving great food and service at the venue. They exceeded our expectations, all meals were to a great standard, well presented, tasted amazing and in mainly environmentally friendly packaging bar that needed to keep burger warm. Ordering was particularly easy when it needed to be vegan and gluten free as it is at the restaurant and clearly marked on the containers when it arrives. The food tasted amazing and all 4 of us would happily order from there again. (Sorry for the lack of photos we all dove straight in)

Booked a bottomless brunch for 2 on a Friday. Gutted I didn't catch our waiter's name because he was brill. Upgraded to the cocktail option at £35 which was so worth it as we still got prosecco poured alongside. When we booked the menu had a choice of starters but the portion of nachos was huge so it didn't matter. Chicken enchilada tasted great. All cocktails were a good quality.

First time to try Mexican food and it was so good. Wish I could come back at this place when I get to visit Notts again. The staff members are so friendly as well. On top of that, our orders came so fast like we didn’t even wait. Kudos to the service!

Excellent food and cocktail menu. Could not fault the kitchen, but the front of house service left a lot to be desired. There never appeared to be a person assigned our table and we were asked several times if we ready to order AFTER it had been taken. Time between courses was long, possibly contributing to this. Staff were clearly inexperienced, did not appear to be familiar with the menu, were confused by things we asked for, until we showed them it written down, and it took them twenty minutes to tell us they had run out of condensed milk for a drink. Atmosphere was fun, though, and it was an okay experience because of this, the food, and the company.

The food was fantastic, everything was well spiced and cooked really well (fully recommend the steak). The service was friendly and really accommodating to any inconsistencies we had however to that point at our table we had one instance of a really off smelling pint and another of a steaming hot glass. As a couple with 2 kids and me working shifts, we don't get a chance to do a Saturday date night very often. Booking a table was a last minute thing online at 7pm for a 9.15pm booking. I'll be honest my first impression was...Packed in like sardines. The tables are really close together to the point you could touch the people on the table next to you without stretching. We got off to a rocky start as the drinks took ages to come. It then got rockier. We waited 45 minutes for food. The staff member looking after us kept apologising and she was really helpful. I did tell the team leader I was ready to go and get a pizza as we were both starving. It eventually came and I honestly couldn't fault the food. By way of an apology for the delay the manager actually waived the entire bill. I was entirely gobsmacked. I thought they may have covered the cost of the drinks or something but I certainly didn't expect a free meal. Big kudos for the customer service side of things.

Perfect bottomless brunch - it was executed with flair, precision and fun. Our waitress was very accommodating which made our time here even more special. Would definitely recommend this bottomless brunch over others as: there are plenty of food options (both breakfast and lunch); there's the chance to upgrade to cocktails (6 choices?! - all delicious btw) and it is definitely worth your pennies!!!

Food was good with large portion sizes and reasonable prices. A couple of large, noisy groups (10-15 people) in there when we were there so perhaps not the ideal place for a quiet meal for two...! Overall good and would definitely eat there again.

Went for bottomless brunch my avocado on sour dough wasn't great, my pan fried tomatoes were just fresh cold tomatoes never seen a pan in their life. We upgraded for cocktails, the waiter was very friendly and nice but you could be say waiting to get another drink. Very noisy inside.

One of the best places I've ever eaten! I had enchilada, my boyfriend had a burger and we shared a starter quesadilla and churos for desert (dulce de leche) - absolutely amazing all of them! The staff was lovely. Only negative side- very small tables for 2 and not very stable.

Lunch date with friends on Saturday, young lady who greeted us was very welcoming and pleasant. Our server Marcos was amazing and it was a pleasure to be served by him too. It's nice but a very busy place, they changed their churros recipe and they're very dry now, fingers crossed they change it back. Food is overall as good as other Las Iguanas chains, staff friendly and fast, they do go out of their way to make your visit as good as possible so hats off for that. The actual place could do with some refurbishment.

Visited this restaurant on Valentines Day and it was busy but that was understandable. I ordered the Dominican curry goat which came piping hot - a plus! Overall, the food was really good. Cocktails were 2 for 1 all evening and tasted superb - another plus! I would recommend this restaurant.

Las Iguanas is located in the heart of Nottingham city. You would easily notice that they've got an array of amazing staff. Colourful, beautiful and cosy ambience I must say. I was there to cover an event and was too busy to give the food a try. But what was being passed and hurled over and about looked really sumptuous! I'm surely going back there to trade a bite. It looks like a very great place to hang out with friends and family.

My first time here after receiving rave reviews from my partner. Fabulous staff, huge choice of food for even the fussiest eater. Great vegan and kids menu, was our grand daughters birthday. Portions were excellent although the Brazilian bbq I had wasn't quite as good as I'd imagined, size wise. Prices are a little steep Imo, especially the alcohol but definitely a place I would want to go again 😁👍

Frst Visited on a Friday night in December. The Restraunt was very loud, busy and noisy. Drink service at the bar was slow however food was good and hot. I think they were busier than expected. Went the following day and it was a much more positive experience. Drink were ready for us within minutes of ordering, we had a table straight away and was much quieter.

Excellent choice of 2for1 cocktails marred only slightly by some being unavailable due to certain spirits being out of stock. No flexibility on substitute liquors unfortunately. Super South American food was served quickly and piping hot even on a busy Friday night. Grab a booth if you can - it gives you a great view of the buzzing bar and dining area.

Average meal all round. We were a group of more than 6. Service was slow at best, unless you were a group of younger females. Took 15 minutes for our food order. Arrived promptly, and the Buenos Aires Burger was quite tasty, the portions were not the biggest though. No 2nd round of drinks were offered, as usually happens. Everything seemed too much trouble for the waiter. There was also a level of expectation from the waiter, the service charge to be paid, yes i am aware it was optional, and none of us had issues paying this, but the service we had wasn't great, and not worth the additional payment, this seemed to surprise him.

I emailed to make the booking and to request a particular table as it was my sons 21st celebration (well, one of). Received an email from Linda to say all in hand. We all had a great time, enjoyed our meals and copious cocktails. Only criticism was they were out on several of the ingredients for the cocktails one of which was caipirinha. We asked if this could be substituted for a bacardi instead but even though we asked twice it was apparently beyond the mixologists However, thank you all at Las Iguanas.

It was very busy with a great atmosphere. We had a tapas/cocktail offer which seemed reasonably priced. The food was generally very good with a couple of the tapas (the pork) being extremely good. The cocktails (4 of them in the offer) were mainly run based, personally I'm not keen on cocktails and don't like rum so i struggled at little with. Everyone else seemed to enjoy them and the general consensus was they were pretty good for the money. I would happily go again if others wanted to go but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go if it was my choice.

Absolutely flawless. Haven't eaten so well in a long time. Our server, Bal, was brilliant. Warm and friendly and attentive service without being overbearing. I had tapas of Mango and Brie Empanadas, Chicken Quesadillas, and chicken wings in a Honey Peri-Peri sauce. The wings were quite spicy but in a good way and I demolished everything else with room for churros. All was fab. Highly recommended. My other half had fajitas with two (2) sides of sweet potato fries with alioli dip. Again, it was very much enjoyed. Lastly, we enjoyed their All Day Every Day 2 for 1 cocktails: 2 Mojitos, 2 Mango Collins, and 2 Tutti Frutti. Cannot fault these either. Personally, I like a cocktail where I cannot taste the alcohol. This hit that perfect spot, so fruity and refreshing and tasty. So much so we drank as many as we did. We'd booked a table during the Eat Out to Help Out campaign; our server Bal kept us up to date on what ran out just as soon as he found out. It changed our orders a couple of times but realistically did not take away from what was ultimately a truly sublime evening. We tipped where we could and will be looking for a Las Iguanas when we're next seeking an eatery. Thoroughly recommend you check this one out.

Visited here on 25/01/2020 early evening and was already full and busy. Drinks are expensive but the cocktails are 2 for 1 so that helps to keep the drinks flowing even though the service is slow and left waiting for drinks. There is a good selection of food to cater for all tastes however they don't provide the little extras to help with eating your meal like for example a side bowl to put bones in when eating ribs as I have been to other restaurants who have done this and providing little handy wet wipes to clean your hands when you have eaten meals there was eaten with fingers. These little extras do make all the difference. I did ask for a bowl for my bones and waitress said she was getting one but I never got one so service here could be a little more attentive

Went with some work people and 1 baby. We were accommodated for despite not booking, and were moved to a suitable table quickly. Food was very filling but over priced. The staff were helpful but we were told multiple times that the music would be turned down (it gets very loud in there later on) and it only seemed to increase in volume. The service is very slow on busy nights as they seem to lack staff, we had to go and grab someone to serve us every time we needed something, they were not proactive.

I had a mushroom "crepe" for starter was the main one vegan tasted delicious. And I had the beetroot and beans burger on the side some salad and fries 50/50. The 2-4-1 £8,95 on selected cocktails were good you just have to drink the same cocktail twice cuz they don't let you chose the other one. At the end I paid £25 for my 2 course meal and the drinks. I when for a team work Christmas dinner so the place was full. The service was of a normal wait. Specially when not all people have starters, those have to wait. They charge about £1,50 service charge per person which is optional to pay.

My first time trying Mexican food and it was delicious. I got a Burrito for free with Three Wantu and the portion size was enough to fill me up. The restaurant has lively staff members who were happy to help, they treated me like a normal paying customer. Service was promt - only about 15-20 minutes - and the food was perfectly seasoned and came with a salad side to add freshness to the dish. I was suprised by what a good portion size it was. The best part about this restaurant is the variety of seating options it has, whether you are coming in a big group and want a big table, a medium group, or even by yourself there's a table and even quite booths for you to sit. The decor is also pretty great and the sound levels are also since there's so much open space as opposed to being gridlocked; it would make a great place for a date to try some new interesting food. The only negative comment is that they say on their menu "Straws Suck" and claim to want to reduce plastic wastage, yet I saw every drink with a straw (even a cup of water), so not sure what's going on there. Overall my experience was a positive one.

There's a limited menu for kids, and do check if the dishes contain onions (if you've got a picky eater :-) ). Good for a night out, with or without the kids and the quick lunch menu is very good.
