M. N. S.Been there before and absolutely love their grilled chicken wings and buffalo chicken burger and best of all it’s Halal!
S. S.Didn’t take a photo of anything else other than the halloumi but it was the best halloumi I’ve had. The chicken was lovely! The wedges had so much flavour, they were crispy and delicious. All the food came piping hot and it was a fast delivery too. Perfect comfort food 🥘

C. W.Used to be my favourite place to eat in the entire country. I live in Norfolk now and coming home to Nottingham, roosters is first place I visit. But last visit it's gone downhill. Chicken was so dry it was almost ineable, and they've swapped the fries. Just not the same anymore. RIP.
P. V.Nice and clean place to eat. Reasonable price. We ordered The Rio Grande and buffalo wings. The chips were good,, the buffalo wings tasted too sour for my liking but maybe just the way it is. The burger bun a bit dry but considering its Halal and a lot of varieties of food to choose,, we will be back to try some different ones.

Once there, hygiene lacking, no soap. Clearly the ablution facilities are not maintained regularly. A little disappointing in these post-Covid days.
S. P.Good grilled meat restaurant in the city centre. Tasty food and worth the visit. Went for the double grilled chicken in pitta with fries. There’s a table service and you can sit down and wait for food. The chicken was succulent and not too dry. The medium sauce was just about right. The fries were served piping hot. Definitely go if you’re look for a quick inexpensive snack at lunch or dinner.

h. s.The menu is great and there is lots to choose from, including vegetarian options. The prices are affordable. There are times when you do have to wait a while to be served and often times when your food isn't brought out together if you go as a group, but this depends on how busy it is. There is decent seating available too, great place for families.

N.Newly refurbished restaurant with great customer service and friendly staff! Who doesn't love to eat in this restaurant when the food is delicious and very affordable! Of course, chicken is the reason most people would come to this restaurant but I also love their lamb burger. I highly recommend visiting! Well done team!

F.This place used to be good until a year ago.. now it's over priced, and poor quality and portions have gotten smaller. I usually find my order despite being freshly made isn't as popping hot as it should be heat wise, despite complaining several times the management just tell me how they've sold 100 chickens today and no one else has complained, as if it's impossible.
I used to be a big fan. Now I go to pepes across the road, better taste, slightly cheaper and great quality. Yes it's not presented on a fancy platter style plate but atleast it's money well spent.
M. H.Food is phenomenally tasty and grilled chicken served on slate which is a nice touch. Very open and plenty of seating and pretty upmarket for a grilled chicken type venue. A bit expensive than what I would like but great place bang in city centre. This is halal too which is fantastic.

R. B.Best Peri peri restaurant in Nottingham that serves halal food. Have bought peri peri chicken, wraps, fries, etc. Every time is a delight to eat.
p. g.I must say that out of all restaurants their vegan/vegetarian falafel wrap makes it's justice. The only advice I give is at lunch time if you are in a rush give them a call to order what you want and pass the queue to pay and very soon your food will be ready. I work very close and on my treat days I like to have lunch there and I forget many times how busy it is and how long will take to get served. So get the number.
I pay £5,85 let's make it £6 for the regular wrap and regular fries. Their menu is vast. But for me is the only thing I eat from them.

J.Best place in town for chicken, far superior to Nandos. Usually go for the half chicken or double chicken burger with piri fries. I've been quite a lot over the past couple of years and I've never once had a bad meal. Staff are usually very friendly. It's also recently had a refurb and looks a lot nicer inside. Highly recommended.

The one that took my order was very allergy a wear and showed me their allergy check list; he was very understanding.
I ordered a Reg Falfful wrap and it was nut free, only had wheat in it and he said they would try to make it in area that had not got nuts in. I would like to point out I only have mild Nut allergy.
The wrap was very nice and had salad and mayo , and came on pice of slate.
Ti say it was busy, I did not have to wait to long for my order to arrive at my table (yep I was eating in).
I would eat here again. For those that don't know Nottingham that well, it's next to the Library and not far from Market Squar, it's not far from The Bell Pub.

If you would prefer dysentery, Maryland is opposite.
