Just phoned to ask if they cater for Gluten Free and the gentleman said "YES" on Mondays as they change the oil then, BUT, it turns out that he only has chips in the ONE fryer with NOTHING else going into there too.!!! So, basically, the gentleman guaranteed g/f chips at ALL times.

E. S.This must be the best chippy in clifton if not nottingham, we're from Manchester but my mum in local to this chip shop. The portion sizes are out of this word compared to the competitors close by. The fish is to die for and the savaloy and battered sausage are fantastic, the chips themselves are beautifully cooked in a none greasy oil and they are nice and thick still. The perfect chip in my eye. The kebabs looked amazing with generous portion sizes again and the smell was simply out of this world. The new owners since Melly ran it to the ground, are very nice, Almost comedians. I can't rate this choppy enough if you love good food and great service you can't go wrong!

L. K.Me and my friend drive from 2 villages over and past 2 other chip shops most Fridays as its the best chippy about! Huge portions, amazing food, well priced and all the staff are great too. Wouldn't bother trying anywhere else now!
